Opinions de Cafe Brazil Dallas
The place is beautiful and the drinks are even more esthetically pleasing. The bartenders were helpful and made some delicious drinks. They have a wide variety of liquor to choose from. They apparently have a speakeasy bar in the back, I believe it's only open on weekends. We didn't try any food but judging by other reviews it's amazing. We will without question come back here.
Let me tell you this place passes the vibe check. The playlist they had playing was so fire. I also loved that their was a DJ that came in later to turn the place up. I went on a Sunday around Brunch time. The Bartender was so fire! He made out drinks super fast and overall was just cool. I also loved that there was this secret looking room in the back. This spot is just overall dope. I will be going back!
One of the best meals and dining experiences that I have had lately. We arrived and were immediately greeted and seated. We had some amazing cocktails served creatively and thumbs up to the mixologist! The food was stellar! Each dish continued to wow me. The dumplings were some of the best that I’ve ever had. When you visit, you have to ask about the secret menu. You will be very happy that you did. Happy eating!
At first I thought Neon Kitten was all IG hype. Now I'm convinced it's one of my favorite new bars in Dallas. The cute decor, friendly service and unique food and drink options make for a great stop. I wish their patio was as cool as the rest of the building but it doesn't change my thoughts on the place.
So far the best place in Dallas! The food was amazing and the bartender is generous with the pour. I had the chicken and waffles, the waffles were perfect and the chicken was just right. However the star of the meal was the side of grits!!!! I will for sure go back just for those....ORDER THE GRITS! The restaurant itself was well appointed and trendy. The staff was very friendly and always checked to make sure you were doing ok. The owner, Im guessing it was the owner, greets you at the door and makes sure everything and everyone are ok. Also there is a speak easy behind the bookcase. Put this place on the list.
Fun, upbeat atmosphere with a great playlist and cute aesthetic. The food is what feels like a modern fusion take on Asian food, and it was delicious. Be sure to ask your server what they recommend so you can learn more about the menu. Delicious cocktails and apps, and mouthwatering dishes. Our sever was Jenn and she was absolutely amazing. We had a bit of a hard time deciding, but she helped us with recommendations and we loved what we got. On top of helping us order, Jenn was fun, never let our glasses reach empty, and gave amazing service. 6 out of 5 stars to her. Especially when we got sake bombs. Do yourself a favor and order sake bombs! It’s a lot of fun.
This place is adorable and the employees are super friendly. Highly recommend the pork belly benedict. Drinks are unique and cute. They do add an automatic 20% gratuity regardless of party size, so just be prepared before you go.
Visited for the first time an I'll tell you look for the blue walls and pink flowers. Late at night Neon Kitten is difficult to spot but i think that makes it even more worth to find it. Again Neon Kitten doesn't have any marks but when you enter the entire room erupts in greetings. The Osaka (Hello Kitty glass) is a must and as a yellowtail fan you'll love the Yellowtail Jalepaneo. Reserve in advance and this place is perfect for date night and hanging with friends.
Amazing Lunch! Everything was so good. Loved the Shrimp Fun Roll. The Pumkin puff is the perfect ending to your meal. Bring friends. I have been looking for a good Dim Sum Place. This place is under priced for the quality of their food. Go now before they raise their prices!
This is one of the best ever restaurants/bars I’ve been to. On top of the cute ambiance and cute drinks, the food and the service was impeccable. Everyone made us feel so comfortable, warm, and overall we had such an enjoyable time. The servers had banter with us, especially Scott. Even thought they were understaffed due to COVID, we did not wait long for the food or drinks, they’d always check up on us to make sure everything was good which it was. The food was fresh with exquisite flavors and even thought we couldn’t decide, Scott chose an amazing combination of delicious dishes for us. I’m definitely coming back here again, especially to reorder the HelloKitty drink! 10/10 place that everyone should go to!
Neon Kitten is a gorgeous stop on your nightly rounds in Deep Ellum. I loved everything we were able to sample on our trip, the bar staff, wait staff and manager are sure to make your visit feel like you're part of the family.
DELICIOUS!! Atmosphere was so fun and hype, and the food even impressed my very hard to impress brother in law who couldn’t stop raving about everything. Cocktails were delicious too. The service at first was odd and slow, but then the owner Bob came and took care of us and it was only up from there. His suggestions were great and we loved talking to him. I love how they cheer everyone on as they walk in. Would definitely come back!!
This is a top ten establishment in dfw! I swear I've live in many places. I've visited NY city, Chicago, DC, Miami, Orlando, Belgium, and this would be my top 10. It's a vibe. The anime friendly environment. The owner is a gem. The staff...chefs kiss. The food is under priced for the quality and authenticity..hats off to the chef...best bar...
Genuinely enjoyed this spot. Their cocktails and appetizers were very creative and a hit. we also really enjoyed the staff.
We had an awesome time the Bar Staff was great and the dumplings were delicious. We had the pumpkin, shrimp and siu mai.
Went with some friends and they accidentally overbooked but this ended us up in the back speak-easy part of the bar and I’m glad! The bar tenders were phenomenal! They were very attentive and creative with their drinks which were really good. Unlike the front of the bar, there was no menu, which made the experience that much more exciting. The food was also delicious and aesthetically appealing! Despite the hiccup with getting us a table, they were able to remedy the situation with a quickness and professionalism. Great customer service 👍🏻
We were seated promptly, then waited on shortly after. Our meals came out hot and visually appealing. We weren't informed of specials if there were any, but offered the Coffee Bar. We were checked on frequently by our waiter and 2 other wait staff. My husband had the Mexican Omelet and I had Breakfast Bowl. Mine made to order- no mushrooms and scrambled eggs instead of over-easy. Both were delicious and a generous portion. We will definitely go back. It was a wonderful place to have breakfast after early service.
We love Cafe Brazil! I’ve been eating at this location (University Park) and the Bishop Arts location for years. I was so sad when the Cedar Springs location closed. They have bottomless coffee with great flavors and lots of great food that covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. I’ve had many different things, and they’ve all been great! A few things I highly recommend are: the smoked turkey crepes and the chicken crepes (the cream sauce is so good); the super quesadilla; the banana bread french toast; the chilaquiles; the veggie omelette; the CB chicken sandwich with honey mustard (blackened or fried); the coconut chicken strips (the meal or the salad). Everything is YUM! Recently, we got the Summer Chilaquiles, the Chicken Zapata, and the Grilled Chicken Wrap - they were delicious! I’ll add pictures of more visits as we go.
this place shook my world up…….. everything was so good I that I was disappointed when I got full and had to stop eating. I got the beautiful delicious banana bread french toast and one of the hash brown bowl things with jalapeños chicken and chorizo. I also got a chai latte that was so so so delicious and perfectly spiced which is hard to come by. It was quiet and chill when we went and had a great time and enjoyed those leftovers a few hours later at home 😭 the waitress was sweet and helpful and I definitely am excited to go back! Portion sizes are generous also.
Perfect beginning to the second leg of my family reunion weekend. Picked up my high school friend from church and she said she knew the perfect place. She’s been living in town 24 years so I knew she’d get us right. She knows people! A very busy place and then it calmed. I ordered the chorizo breakfast tacos and my friend ordered El Gordo. The service top notch and with a warm smile. The restaurant smelled so good when we walked in and NO the food didn’t disappoint. The tacos were perfect and I didn’t have to ask if the salsa was hot 🥵 I just knew house made and freshly made! Lots of parking and not a long wait either.
Brought a friend here to try out this location. I had the Chicken, Bacon, & Waffles. Highly recommend! (Ate it too fast, sorry no pics!) Friend had a spinach omelet. They said it was good. Love the self serve coffee bar, they had 5 flavors going (Little less than a couple other locations I have visited). Still had the favorites up & running. Definitely come through, enjoy the free wifi & good food!
We were really impressed with the food. I got to try chilaquiles for the first time and it was delicious. Way too much good to eat! The kids were happy with their strawberry pancakes and candy bar pancakes. My husband loved his classic American spin on hash browns and eggs! They have several locations. We came to the University Park location. Lots of parking in a parking lot.
Yes, this is a Dallas staple. No, this is not a bougie brunch spot. CB is more like a New England diner than anything. I've been a customer for 30+ years. 17 year old me lived for this place on weekends. The food is consistently good. The service is always amazing. Shout out to Felix! Seriously, I love Cafe Brazil.
As soon as we walked in the restaurant has a friendly and welcoming environment. We had an omelet and pancakes, our service was excellent !! The omelet was delicious and it was complimented perfectly with the breakfast potatoes. The pancakes were awesome they were large and thick and very tasty. We also ordered some bacon. There is a very good selection of coffee, you can actually get up and pour yourself more coffee and select from a few flavors. I recommend a visit for breakfast !!
The sign outside says "Fast and Friendly," and it's 100% true. We met Ricardo, who was awesome and super friendly, making our experience even better. The coffee was excellent, and the food was delicious. The cozy atmosphere is perfect for studying or catching up with friends. Despite being a bit crowded, the service was quick and efficient. We'll definitely come back!
Ok, I used to live in Dallas and enjoyed meals and coffee at several locations. This past week I was working in Dallas. The type of work on this project required us to work overnight. The location was not far from this Cafe Brazil. So once we were done and started searching for a place to grab breakfast we saw this place was open 24 hours! Nice. We ended up eating at this location 3 out of the past 4 mornings. Dennis was quick to take care of us. Coworkers and myself enjoyed the food and service after several long nights of work. I am glad they got to try something local and different than some of the national chains that are open 24 hours and serve breakfast that seem to be microwaved. Good job Cafe Brazil!

This is my go to breakfast spot. Love the staff, all friendly and professional. The parking is great, even when busy. Food is always great and prices are reasonable.
It was superbusy ( after SMU game) But cafe Brazil on Central delivered exceptionally well. Plenty of hot coffee, water always topped off, quick from order-to-table, and exceptionally great service…
Service was awesome! Our waitress was so happy and friendly! Great good and priced, will go back!
I loved the food here! Service is great! ambiance is cool! I will recommend this place to everyone.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time going here, when we came in we immediately got seated, the server was nice and patient when we were deciding our food. Got the berry pancake and caramel drink. Nice place to eat.

Great food with a huge menu, great coffee, great service and great atmosphere. Everything was perfect, Angelica was our server and she took great care of us. Will definitely be back.
We got really lucky eating here Sunday evening. There was no wait at all. In fact, the place was empty. Usually I'd take that as a bad sign, however, the food and service was great. My favorite was the morel shrimp dumplings and salmon sushi. Delicious!! Service was great and friendly. It was good, but I doubt I'll come for a second visit since there was only 2 memorable food items for me; but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it.
Parking is a beast in the area although the parking lot wasn't too far a walk. We actually passed the restaurant since there wasn't a sign. When you walk in you're greeted by all the customers and staff members so forget about shying away, there's no time. We had outdoor seating but it was rather cozy and great for hanging out especially if your party is a little louder. We ordered their infamous cocktail served in a Hello Kitty. So cute, we got our IG worthy photos and Snaps for days. Servers were nice. We ordered a little bit of everything. The cocktails were definitely the main attraction and food was for eating during or after a few drinks.
Neon Kitten’s presentation is on point! Their staff gave us a warm welcome and were super friendly. The dim-sum has a nice twist to it and their beef tataki is delicious, but their drinks and sushi were just ok. The problem was their ventilation system was awful - by the end of the night we were choking from the smoke from their grill (to be fair, I have asthma, so that’s probably why it affected me so much). Not sure if they were having an issue with their ventilation system or if it’s always like that. I would recommend checking them out, but if you have asthma you might want to sit in their outdoor patio area.
First time for us here. Service was great and food was really really good. Only issue I experienced was that the 'Bottomless Coffee' that I got was not hot so I had to order a specialty coffee. Was still charged for the coffee that I did not drink and had the server take away. Not a ding against the restaurant, but I personally prefer my coffee hot. I'll return again as it was hard to choose what to have as their menu had lots of great options.
The standard use of egg whites only was definitely pleasing. Yolks are available via Build Your Own permutations. Cannot complain about "egg whites only" Veggie Omelette and Veggie Crepes because the veggies were abundant. Loved the accompanying fruit bowl too. The Espresso was better than average (but the temperature was marginally lower) and the other coffee choices make this place truly a Cafe stop any time of the day. The parking lots on both sides are incredibly sized for the area. Outdoor seating is another nice option.
Terrible food. Not sure how you can mess up an omelette but they somehow managed. Food is flavorless. Do not recommend.

Went for their Valentines day event and the music was extremely loud; to the point we had to yell to talk. The food was good but I not the best compared to other locations. The drinks were strong and would definitely recommend as a drinking spot if the drinks weren’t so expensive. The steak was my favorite part of the food.
I arrived alone on a Saturday morning at 9:15 am. I was meeting one other person. They had not yet arrived. The employee who came to greet/seat me pointed to a sign that said on Saturdays and Sundays incomplete parties would not be seated until all were present. She said she could not seat me and walked away. I understand this policy in a busy restaurant. However, I counted *15* empty tables! When the employee looked at me I waved for her to come back over and pointed at the empty tables all around. She angrily came over, grabbed two menus and seated me. She walked away speaking angrily in a language I do not speak. She went to a fellow employee motioning toward me and continuing to look at me, speaking angrily, still in a language I do not speak. I got repeated glaring looks. The person I was waiting for was seated by someone else. The restaurant never filled in the one hour and fifteen minutes we were there. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The food was good. The water for my hot tea was served in the mug (versus in a metal tea pot as many restaurants use) and the water was barely hot enough to make the tea. I drank the tepid tea without complaint.
We tried Chicken Bacon & Waffles. It was good, but not quite “the best in DFW” level. The chicken was kind of dry and plain. My biggest complaint was the table was too small and they have a lot of things on the table, salt & pepper shakers, a container of sweeteners, hot sauces, etc. With 4 people at the table, even including a kid, it took us quite a while to rearrange everything so that we could eat without worrying about spilling/dropping things. Service was mediocre.
It had been a while since the last time we visited CB. and honestly we were pretty tired after a whole day walking @fanexpo so i might not be as kind. The place had only a few people working, we stood for at least a couple of minutes before we were seated. The food took a little too long (again, it might have been the average waiting time for food to make it to the table but we were tired), the waitress seemed a little lost even though there were only 4 tables so... Yeah. I'd rate this experience as a ⭐⭐⭐. The food was good. Not the best, not the worst. Pretty average. Still good place to crash after clubbing or to study.

OMG!! I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years. Today, we were meeting our dear friend who recently lost her husband...this was "our place" for countless lunches. We got there first from Arlington...she told us their (she was with another friend) eta was 7 minutes. We decided to see if we could get a corner table, like we always did. Our favorite server was there and gave us hugs. She seated us, but she was leaving, so we got another server...who proceeded to inform us that we shouldn't have been seated because they don't seat incomplete parties and we can't do it again (we didn't do it in the first place)...there was no line and plenty of empty tables (oh and I am handicapped, with a cane and can't stand long...our fav server knew that)...our friend arrived within moments...we had not seen her since he passed. Then after 1hr and 25 minutes, we were informed we'd have to leave, because they were busy...WHAT???!! Since when does a 24hr restaurant with bottomless coffee have a time limit? And why weren't we informed upfront? Also, there were still 6 empty tables and only a few people waiting. We were very embarrassed and angry. Yes, the food was very good as usual. I hate that I suggested our old favorite place...that I guess now is not our old favorite place and a place that thinks they're now upscale enough to kick out 4 old women who were quietly reminiscing...we sat on the patio for a bit to finish our conversation...but it was too hot and we hugged eachother, hoping to see eachother again soon...wishing there was somewhere else we could have gone...and to be clear...whenever we stay more than 1 1/2hr...we always drop an extra 20 or so extra for the time...to thank the server...even when the place is empty. Not this time...maybe never again to return to our old haunt...please stop doing this and return to the casual, fun, easy going 24hr restaurant we loved...we did not deserve to be asked to leave, nor scolded for being seated as an incomplete party...this was always a great place where college students came...what a mess! Whos bad advice are you listening to?
Great food. Loyal customer since college. Get better servers. Got the drink order wrong. Ignored me twice when I tried to get her attention, disappeared until the food came out. Watched food in window for 5 minutes. Got my food to go so I wouldn't go off... 😩 Please do better
