Opinions de The Finch Dallas
Everyone was so cool! Our Server Sabrina was amazing and super attentive. We had the Volcano shrimp which was 10/10. The Martini tree which was also a 10/10 Made perfectly! Only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was my Cajun pasta. It was kind of bland and my chicken was a bit dry but again. Everything else was great so i’ll definitely be back to try more things!
Jose was our server and did an amazing job! He checked on us frequently and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food came out quickly, and the ladies who greeted us when we walked in were so warm and welcoming. I forgot to take pictures of our martini flight, but trust me… they were STRONG (in the best way 😂). We’ll definitely be back!
The Finch in Dallas was so amazing. We went on Valentines and even though the were super busy, the service was still top tier. I believe Jonathan was the name of our server and he did such a great job. Everything we had off the menu was 10/10.
Came in for an early birthday dinner and had a great experience. Bao Buns for appetizer are delicious! My girlfriend and I got the wedge salad to split and it was still huge! I had redfish tacos for dinner which were super fresh and delcious! Our server (whose name I didn't get sadly) was extremely kind and welcoming. Even brought over a complimentary slice of cheesecake for my birthday. Great atmosphere inside, delicious food and tasty drinks. Outdoor seating looked very cozy too Seems like a great place for a special occasion, a date night or just a good quality meal without breaking the bank
Best birthday dinner restaurant. Came in almost 30 minutes late for my res and they were able to honor my table. Derek was an amazing waiter. He did the most to make my night special. Food was amazing the Steak Frites were immaculate highly recommend.
Came to celebrate a friends birthday with over 12 of us. Service, food, drinks and atmosphere were all perfect!! 10 out of 10. Jonathan was amazing. Ask for him and you won’t regret it.
Had a great experience dining at The Finch Dallas location for Valentine’s Day. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Jonathan, our server, was amazing and very personable. The on shift manager, Vince, was great as well. My husband and I will be adding this to our list of favorite places to dine. Thanks guys!
First time coming here and our waiter Jonathon was absolutely amazing. He even let my boyfriend try out the wines before committing to a full glass. Excellent service and the salmon was really good! Will definitely circle back one day.
We went for our second time. What an amazing experience. We were celebrating a great thing and they made it so special. Trevor and Vince are amazing! The food and drinks are top tier. Get the Tokyo Sidecar! We’ll be back to try brunch and happy hour next!
Jonathan was a great server. He explained the menu when I had questions. He refilled my water glass without me asking. A plus. He asked if I wanted another cocktail another plus. The food was delightful and different. Happy hour menu had some great selections. From chicken to shrimp. I didn’t like the white wine selection for happy hour though. Enough food to fill you up for a quick bite. The presentation was nice. Overall my experience was great. I’ll be back with friends.
Jonathan is one of the best servers I ever encountered, he some how remembers me after not seeing me for months, remembered my order and even my job! Super good customer service I really hope the finch is taking care of this guy. Highly recommend checking this location out and meeting him personally he will take care of you !
We walked in around 9:15 on a Friday and had just missed the rush. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and the manager, Vince, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. While we waited briefly for a table to be cleaned, Vince chatted with us and made the wait feel effortless. He was so genuine, easygoing, and clearly took great pride in the restaurant—you could tell he truly loves what he does. The food came out quickly, and the bao buns were amazing—perfectly spicy and crispy, topped with a fantastic slaw. I even brought some home for my girls, who love Korean food, and they were absolutely thrilled. We also ordered the house salad with house-made ranch, which was honestly some of the best ranch we’ve had in a long time. I had the chicken fried chicken, which was super crispy with delicious gravy and mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the steak frites—his steak was cooked perfectly, and the fries were incredibly seasoned and crispy. Vince came back by our table to chat again, and we genuinely enjoyed taking time to talk with him. The service, food, and overall experience were outstanding. We will also be trying the Grand Prairie location, as Vince told us it’s super kid-friendly and even has a fun light show to watch. Highly recommend—we will definitely be back.
We stopped in on a Saturday night (no reservation) for dinner and drinks. This was our first time in and it did not disappoint. Excellent service from Alexis and the other bartenders on staff. Food was delicious, not overpriced. Cute, tasty drinks. Planning to stop by next week to check out their happy hour.
I took my daughter here for her birthday. She's a bit of a picky eater, but they had options for every palate. She chose the chicken fried chicken, while I had the NY Strip. I also ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were excellent, and to my surprise, my daughter enjoyed them too. I highly recommend this place, and I look forward to having this restaurant in Rockwall.
Service: Derrick was our host & he was fun to chat with! Great sense of humor. Ambience: Very cute place! High ceilings makes its feel larger inside and they have an outside area. Food: 3/5 I had the brunch tacos plate. my potatoes were cold & the tacos were just ok. My friends had the steak & eggs and the chicken fried chicken. Their plates looked delicious. Definitely a place to revisit.
I went to The Finch in Dallas and it was fantastic. I ordered the short rib with the feta and tzatziki, and it was incredible. My friend had the Greek salad with salmon. The food was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and something I’ll definitely be thinking about for a while. Our server, Jonathan, made the experience even better. He was extremely attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. You could tell he truly cared about making sure everything was just right! I’m really excited for The Finch to come to Rockwall. It’s exactly the kind of restaurant that will elevate the area, and I can’t wait to have something like this closer to home.
Such an incredible place! Beautiful ambiance, amazing service (shout out to Emily), and great food! We had the oysters, breakfast tacos, and French dip - the French dip was to die for. We also had cocktails recommended by Emily and they were top notch. All employees were very friendly and professional and Emily was great at recommending exactly what we needed/wanted.
Fantastic service, supreme value, and high quality food are a guarantee at the The Finch. This place should definitely be on your short list if you live in Dallas and enjoy 1st class dining. The location is superb, the build-out is both beautiful and comfortable with a ton of natural light, and parking is convenient and accessible. Should you have the opportunity, I recommend that you request that Alexis be your server; or, if she is working in the bar area, simply sit there snd enjoy her professional hospitality. She is a jewel, as is this restaurant, and we will definitely be back soon.
My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves at The Finch! The waitstaff was amazing and clearly operated as a cohesive team. The Star of the show was SABRINA... she was attentative allowed us to customer the Hell Out of our drinks. We had many requests and she did flinch to accommodate. We loved the experience but the Food.... Chef's Kiss 🤌🏾🤌🏽🤌🏻
The restaurant has a great vibe and amazing food! The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is friendly, and everything I tried was delicious. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to! We tried the Tzatzki & Spicy feta, the Corvina Fish with grits, martini flight, and the short rib with poblano Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts and red velvet skillet cookie!
I went for brunch and the Finch is absolutely beautiful very whimsical. This would be the perfect place for a special occasion brunch like birthdays, showers, engagement announcements. They also have a beautiful patio. If it wasn’t 100 degrees I would have definitely sat outside. We started with the standout Volcano Rock Shrimp. Before my mimosa carafe even landed on the table, I’d already devoured it. For entrees, we ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Short Rib Hash. The outer crust on the chicken was crisp, almost too much so, bordering on burnt, but crack through it, and the inside was tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned. However, the star of the show was hands down the Short Rib Hash. Every base component worked in harmony: the potatoes weren’t overwhelming, the meat had bold flavor without overpowering. I practically inhaled every bite. In short: I will be back to order the Short Rib Hash along with the Martini Flight.
We had lunch on the patio and captured the perfect patio weather for Dallas. Our service once we seated, was great. Marissa was our server, she was excited about the food she recommended and we can see why! As amazing as our food was, I love how attentive, thoughtful and thorough she was. I completely ordered the wrong drink, and she was so quick to offer me a new one, when she didn’t need to because it was my fault. When I told her how much I loved the sauce on one of the appetizers, she wrote the name of it down so I could find it at my grocery store. Every one of her recommendations was absolutely amazing, and she really made our dining experience. We will be back! The strip will melt in your mouth, and their Apple cheese cake is the perfect way to end your meal
Finch was lovely! We had the pleasure of being served by Alicia who was fantastic, so prompt and gracious. She was quick, kind and helpful. The food was good, I think the entrees are overpriced for what they are. Standard for the area though! My mother in law got the flounder and it was over salted, and I think it should come with a side. It came only with some spinach, and again it was good but it should come with a starch. But everything else was reasonably priced. I got the wedge salad which was delicious, wife got the chicken sandwich which was also delicious. All in all a lovely experience, I look forward to coming back!
Quick lunch on a recent trip to Dallas. Stayed across the street at the Highland hotel (highly recommend!) the service at the Finch was superb. Very attentive staff who knew their way around the menu. The avocado hummus was fresh however the chicken bites need a little more love from the kitchen.
Party of 4 for dinner. We had a round of drinks, 2 espresso martini, beer and vodka on the rocks plus soups, salad and main entree. Bill including tip was a hair shy of 300. Husbands prime rib was overwhelming under cooked. More rare than medium rare, but he still ate it as we were hungry. Food runners provided the soup/salad. Server came over to deliver the entrees and then we never saw him again until it was time to pay. No one refilled our water glasses either. You can go if you want, but we were not impressed at all. Quite disappointed as we had read reviews before selecting this place to eat.
2 minutes after sitting down, we told the waiter that we needed a couple minutes to decide(what to order). Then the waiter disappeared for 40 minutes, and we couldn't get anyone, so I went to the greeter to ask for someone to wait on us, and our waiter came, saying that he thought we're still deciding, and that there is no way of him knowing we're ready to order. Instead of apologizing, he was mad at us for asking him. That is not how it's supposed to be. Order didn't come out quickly either. I will not recommend this place if you have less than 2 hours for lunch.
