The first thing I loved was the design, especially those green tiles! And then we met our server, Daniel who was extremely sweet and attentive. He made sure we had exactly what we needed and enjoyed our time there. Such a great place to celebrate my friend’s bday!

The food was amazing, we tired many things on the menu, loved everything. Our server was Di, she was also amazing answering questions about the menu, there is a wait but love that you can wait in your car, coming back soon, and would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I’m a first-time visitor, and I must say, the food was incredible! What truly set this place apart was the exceptional service. Our server, Christian, was incredibly attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be returning to this restaurant.

This place is 🔥. Unfortunately they ran out of Birria Egg Rolls. I had every taco minus the tofu tacos. Every single one was 🔥 except the Mongolian Beef. Mongolian beef tacos dont waste your time. As far as flavor goes it should be stripped from the menu because this thing is the ugly duckling of the menu. The Mongolian Beef Burrito is a better choice. The Orange Chicken Burrito 🔥. The combination rice came with Beef, Chicken & Shrimp, it was salty.

Great place and great food, definitely will come back!! We were a big group and they attended us in such a fast fashionably way. Our server Di was great, loved her!!

Went with a friend and family since we have been wanting to visit for a while. While a wee bit loud, it was luxurious and comfortable. Seeing the extremely clean kitchen and fresh foods being made per order is an amazing experience. I really enjoyed the cycle of dishes, so there is something new to try. Best that they offer vegetarian/vegan dishes along with meat, so there is something for everyone. Our waiter was seriously top-notch. His suggestions were perfect. He was very professional yet friendly. Everyone was awesome and made our visit feel special. Prices are fair for the dishes but the quality is top-level fresh and delicious. Well worth checking out for lunch or dinner. I suggest using a reservation app during peak hours, like weekends or weekday lunches.

we had a party of three on a friday night at 7:30 and waited about half an hour next door before there was room for us. our server daniel was really friendly and checked on us often! we got the dumpling sampler, birria noodles, walnut shrimp tacos, and sweet sesame xiau long bao. it was all really good. my favorite was the chicken dumpling and sesame bao.

Wait was long but they have a QR code that made it easy to get on waitlist and track the time. Food was really good, service was great, price point was excellent. In picture left to right - brisket bao, orange chicken tacos, duck tacos

So good! The pork buns were juicy and flavorful, the orange chicken taco was super unique, and the honey walnut shrimp with creamy mayo was amazing. The spicy pork mapo tofu is a must-try, and the chocolate bun dessert was our teens’ favorite!

We found this hidden amazing restaurant , ☺️ we arrived pretty early close to opening time so it was not so busy Katherine seated us and took orders fast. She was very attentive and kind and gave great food options when I didn't know what to get.I would definitely come again and try more food. What we ordered.. -Chicken egg rolls (came with sauce ) 10/10 🩷 -Dumpling sampler ( pork, chicken, seafood, veggie) 9/10 🩷 I liked all but I would rate the chicken lower than the rest of the flavors personally -Combo Fried Rice 10/10 🩷 taste was great really good amount of rice -Pecking duck tacos 10/10🩷 this was my first time trying duck Katherine had told me this is a must have and it sure was very delicious 🤤 -Black lava buns 10/10🩷 so tasty inside is sweet but not too sweet would get again Total was around $70ish Thank you Katherine for a great first experience 🫶🏽🎉

Very good, the general tso's chicken was delicious. The dumplings were very good as well and the special seasoning they put on top made them even better. I personally didn't care for the seafood or veggies dumpling but it was still very good.

I had an amazing experience at this Chino-Mexican spot! The Xiao Long Bao was perfect, the meat was fresh with no gamey smell, packed with flavorful soup, and seasoned just right. The Beef Noodle Soup was another highlight; the beef was incredibly tender and chewy, and the broth was so rich and delicious. To top it all off, the Lava Bun was the best I've ever had! I can't wait to come back. Also, a huge thank you to the staff who kept a smile on their faces and took great care of us throughout the meal. Highly recommended!

Very strong start! We loved the dumplings! The wrappers are light, and the inside juicy. The home made noodles had a great texture. We plan to go back to try another noodle dish.

One of the coolest DFW restaurants I’ve been to in awhile, unique menu and great vibe inside. The bao buns were incredible, and all the sauces they have are really interesting. James our server was amazing, super friendly, made our lunch even better! Definitely check out this place.

The orange chicken, Mongolian beef, birra noodle soup and hot chili noodles were fantastic. Don’t sleep on the black lava buns, so soft and creamy with warm custard and incredible presentation. Service was exceptional thanks to our server Daniel. Thank you! Will be back.

We were looking to try this place out for a while & we're so glad that we did. We showed up right at opening, &that was a great decision because they full up quick. We ordered the sample dumplings. The visual alone was really nice but the taste was even better. We also ordered the birria egg rolls & they were really good with the consume. We wish they had more meat in them, but they were still good. The shrimp tacos were filling, the Kung pa was one of the best I've ever had, & the drinks were well worth the purchase. Our waitress was on point & the staff were cleaning up just as soon as people got up. This will be our go to spot!

Came here on a whim with my brother after seeing a post on instagram. Best decision ever. We came on a Friday at 12pm. The food was amazing our server Daniel was amazing and friendly and even explained the menu to us. We got Birria Fried Rice ($16), Braised Beef Noodles soup $(15), Baby Bok Choy ($8), Chino-Mex Fried Calamari ($8), and the BBQ Brisket Bun ($11). My favorite dishes would have to be the Birria Fried Rice and the Brisket Buns. My brother throughly enjoyed the Calamari and the Beef noodles. Overall, this place amazing and welcoming with great food to fill your appetite

Chino-Mexican fusion and it’s freaking delicious! The combinations are unique and absolutely worth a try. The birria noodles were fantastic. The chocolate lava xiao-long bao are to die for! We found this place from a foodie influencer we follow. We ordered the wontons in chili sauce, birria dumplings, birria noodle soup & spicy mala soup. Everything was super delicious & flavorful. The restaurant is beautiful inside & has a nice atmosphere, they are definitely very popular & should look into opening another location, either a second or a bigger one. The service was great, our server was attentive & made sure we were doing well often and always had water. My only complaint is it should be an absolute crime to only have a one stall bathroom lol. Overall the experience was amazing & I will definitely be coming back!

This restaurant offers an extensive menu, and everything we tried—from appetizers to entrées—was excellent. Not a single dish disappointed. Service was quick and attentive once we were seated, though the wait beforehand was quite long. They only have one table that accommodates large groups, so our party had to wait quite a while for seating. The atmosphere is cute and welcoming, and the restrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, a great dining experience once seated—just be prepared for a wait if you’re coming with a big group. They do not offer reservations.

We went for Valentine’s Day and were not disappointed! Delicious unique dishes that took Chinese food to the next level. Loved the Asian ‘chips and salsa’ before our meal! I’ve always said every restaurant should have their own version and dragon casa delivered. Everything we ordered looked and tasted amazing. The decor was a spin on the classic red and black but made fun with neon signs and fun posters. They even had a valentine themed photo background for date night selfies. The large kitchen viewing window allowed us to watch the dumplings being prepared by expert hands. Our waiter was attentive and polite. I would definitely go back again and again.

A friend recommended Dragon Casa to me recently. Once I looked into it, I knew immediately I would love this joint. They specialize in Chinese-Mexican fusion, which I have never seen in DFW. (Cris and John in Addison is Viet-Mexican, for instance.) AND the menu is trilingual: English, Chinese, and Spanish. How cool is that?! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a kind and friendly server who sat me at a 2-top. He promptly brought out complimentary wonton chips and red and green sauces, which resembled rojo and verde salsas. Pretty cool and very tasty! I started with the Fried Calamari. It's served with sautéed bell peps, onion, and jalapeño and garnished with their "Chino-Tex" seasoning. For the main, I order the two Orange Chicken Tacos on flour tortillas. The sauce was thick and sweet, and the breaded chicken was juicy and tasted cooked to order. Such a delicious and creative dish! I plan to return one day to try their fusion burritos and other tacos, such the Peking Duck, Kung Pao, and Honey Walnut Shrimp ones.

I found this restaurant looking for something different for lunch one day, and I feel like i hit the jackpot. First off, the atmosphere was fantastic. The street feel vibe to this place was great, with the neon signs, the open window into the kitchen was a nice touch, and the stone vases on the wall, just meshed really well. Their take on chips and salsa was a nice twist, with a somewhat spicy green sauce and a sweet & sour sauce to dip into. I also went with the Chino-Mex Fried Calamari, which was fantastic, and for the main dish I chose the Pork Bun Fajita, with a side of fried rice. The pork bun came out sizzling, but once it cooled down, the flavors along with the peppers and onions knocked it out of the park. The serving sizes were large enough to where i had a full dinner of leftovers for later that night. Check this place out, you won't regret it.

I ordered the Szechuan sesame dandan noodles and the honey walnut shrimp burrito, both of which were incredible! The noodles had the perfect texture and mouthfeel that makes you want to keep eating them. The burrito was super flavorful and the salsa verde went perfectly with it. Our server Lipza was very friendly, attentive and helpful! We absolutely plan to come back to try more. They have a big menu so look before you come. Also come hungry because the portions were big 🙂‍↕️

I don't know where to start. The host that takes your name and seating was probably the best, he took a picture of me and my bf at the end and was very friendly when I asked how long they had been open. We came on my birthday after one of my niece's showed me a video on Fb. I was excited to here about a Mexican Chinese mash up. But highly disappointed to find out the very limited mash up and that it was moatly Chinese but not much of a menu. We ordered at least 6 different items to try and most were good. It's so small and compact, so noisy, that we couldn't understand anything our waitress was saying. We just hoped she at least understood us and that our orders were correct...they were lol. It's fairly clean, I was a bit disturbed by the dirty toilet seat in the women's restroom and to see a worker come out and just leave it like that. I had to visit a couple times and thankfully I remembered I keep to go Lysol on me and just cleaned it myself. Overall, what we ate was pretty good except for the underwhelming and flavorless wagyu bao. (I can't remember the correct names, the fried calamari and truffle dumplings were the highligh of the night, Peking duck tacos were ok, bbq brisket bun was lacking brisket and ok at best and Idk what else we got..some kind of burrito that was eh) Also we took our leftovers to go and wanted to bag it ourselves but the pushy waitress insisted on bagging it for us at the table with her bare hands half about dropping our food which REALLY irked me! Honestly, I thought it would be a fun dining experience but instead I wound up over stimulated. It's nice to try something new and it's cool for a one time thing just to say you tried it. But I personally won't be going back. Good luck to them though

visited with my niece/nephew on a trip to dallas! had the sesame chicken, orange chicken, and combo lo mein. all 3 were delicious. my niece was begging to bring the leftovers home because the portions were so large. the wonton chips/dip were so yummy! server took great care of us, even accommodated cancelling the dumplings we ordered after we realized we had entirely too much. 10/10 recommend!

The food is great. Originally visited the same week they opened and everything went perfect. However, last night was busy and it felt like the service was somewhat disorganized as none of our 4 plates came out around the same time as the others. I believe the cocktail menu changed too. Drinks were well balanced before, but last night it tasted like we were drinking straight syrup.

Waited about 10 min before stopping a waiter to ask if i can get some menus or possibly a waitstaff to attend to us.. once we were attended the waiter did apologize numerous times which felt like such a relief and did tone me down some. The food was pretty good. Alot of options and the price is very good for the portions.

I have to say, I was extremely excited and really looking forward to eating here since it’s been so hyped up online. The service and atmosphere were definitely a 10/10. Elisabeth was our server last night, and she was amazing — she went above and beyond for us and was super attentive to our needs. She truly made the experience enjoyable. The only reason I’m giving the food a 4/5 is because I didn’t get to try a wide variety of the menu. However, I did order their famous Birria soup, and unfortunately, it was anything but delicious. The broth lacked flavor and tasted very watered down, and the meat itself had little to no seasoning. It honestly felt like eating a diluted beef stew with noodles. For the price point, I expected a much richer, more savory and well-developed flavor. My partner and I also shared the Birria eggrolls. I’d rate those a 4/5. They were good overall, but again, the meat could have been more seasoned, and the dipping sauce tasted watered down. We ended up swapping it out for sweet and sour sauce instead. My partner ordered the shrimp burrito — which I thought was an unusual combination — but he actually really enjoyed it. Overall, the atmosphere and service were great, and that definitely left a positive impression. Next time, we may stick to the Asian-inspired dishes rather than the Mexican fusion options.

Visited for dinner on a Saturday and it was packed! Wait was estimated at an hour from the time we checked in with hostess. It ended up being about a 40 minute wait which wasn't bad at all. The food was delicious! We ordered the Birria Bao, Dumpling Sampler, chicken stir fry house noodles, Mongolian beef tacos, duck tacos and chocolate buns for dessert. Every item was delicious!! We would order everything again for sure. The only downside yo having a place that gets so busy is the service can struggle a bit. Although yhr servers and host were all very very nice and smiling, the number of servers to tables ratio wasn't great. Our poor waitress had tables on both sides of the restaurant so she was like a ping pong ball bouncing all around. That caused a delay in drink refills, ordering more items, and check out. But the food itself, once ordered, it seemed to come to the table super fast! Overall a great 1st visit for us and I cant wait to go back during a not so busy time of the day or a weekday!

Service was amazing, food was great thought the “share size” for the birria egg rolls was small (only 2). Also would like some more variety for non-pork options on certain menu items. Finally the portions of meat in the burrito were a little skimpy. But what we did get was great. We loved the birria tacos, the steamed beef dumplings, and the orange chicken burrito. We would’ve ordered more food but we didn’t realize how close we came for the kitchen closing break. I have been dreaming about going back lol. Would recommend paying them a visit!

Ordered the calamari, birria noodle soup, birria xaio long bao, Peking duck tacos, and chocolate buns. I'll save you some reading time, the food was very tasty. The noodles were a bit on the salty side but that didn't stop us from finishing the noodle soup. The chocolate buns had a lot of chocolate and were good. We walked in early and were the 2nd table. We walked out with 3-4 groups waiting for a table. Service was ok. The crowd was a bit much for 2 servers. They were out of some dishes which was a bit disappointing. The restaurant is nice, very clean but, the seating was uncomfortable. The booths are flat benches and the chairs are those metal ones where the back kinda dig into your backside. This place is highly recommended and I will be back.

Daniel was absolutely amazing! His service was so good. He kept asking if we were okay. My husband didnt like the dumplings and he got it taken off of our ticket. Food could have been okay but its not bad. We enjoyed the beef noodle soup!

The bad: The service here is absolutely terrible. Our server didnt provide basic items like cutlery or napkins. At one point we had to wait over 30 minutes for service while our server was joking around in the back. Granted, it was a Saturday night, so benefit of the doubt, but expect to wait a while for decent service. The good: The atmosphere of the restaurant is immaculate and very esthetically pleasing. The food itself was actually very delicious. We ordered various appetizers, entrees and a desert and most of the dishes were winners. The birria ramen and chocolate buns were highlights.

Dragon Casa was so aesthetically pleasing! There’s a great balance of Chinese and Mexican decorations. As for food, I’d give it as solid 4 stars. We ordered the orange chicken burrito which was fantastic! Definitely worth coming in just for that. Unique and flavorful. We also ordered various dumplings which were okay. Wish they had a bit more flavor. The service was also okay. We sat down and it took awhile for the server to come to our table. After that he was pretty distant - we ordered extra napkins and never got them, no utensils were provided, and our check to a hot minute to get from the server. It’s great for a one time experience but other than the burrito, I’d find it hard to revisit.

I went first thing after it opened. Maybe this impacted the food, but maybe not. We ordered the Shanghai cucumber salad, baby bok choy, the birria egg rolls, Peking duck tacos, the crispy tofu tacos, and the xiao long bao. The cucumber salad was delicious. The xiao long bao were also good. The bok choy came out hot, but there was no garlic flavor. Not really much taste at all until we mixed it with the cucumbers. The birria egg rolls were really greasy and mostly noodle. I saw one piece of meat that was about 1 cm by 2 cm. The consommé was not rich. It was more a luke warm pho type broth. The duck tacos were ok, but extremely salty. Like all the seasoning from the other dishes was put on the duck. Be warned on the tofu tacos. It’s soft. Like silken tofu that would be used in mapo tofu. We eat a fair amount of tofu and were excited to this but it was 1 bite and done. No flavor and surprise silken tofu is what you get. I do want to try other things here, and the Chinese offerings seemed good. Unfortunately you may want to skip the fusion foods. Also we were there at opening and they had us and others waiting to be seated. Just seemed odd.

If you have high expectations from instagram for this spot, please read before driving 45 min to eat here (like I did) We were seated quickly. Waitress gave us some crunchy sesame balls. 1/10. The drinks were good (dragon fire or something was 9/10). We ordered the birria dumplings and they fine except every single one burst in the steamer so we didn’t have that soupyness. Still pretty good (6/10). Would be better if the steamed them better and they wouldn’t stick to the container. They were out of birria egg rolls. I got pecking duck tacos and my date got birria ramen. I had my tacos pretty quickly but I don’t like to eat alone so we waited a good 20 min before someone checked on us. They finally brought the ramen and my tacos were COLD. The tacos were easily 9/10 UNTIL I found BONES AND WING TIPS. Immediate 0/10. I was literally picking bones out of my mouth in front of my date. See photos. His ramen could’ve been spicier and they also overcooked the noodles 5/10. Then we waited an additional 25 min before someone checked on us again and we just wanted to get the check. We waited so long, we ended up watching reels together. This is interesting. Because the man in the button up was VERY concerned about getting people seated, but not concerned about folks already sitting down. Like I was looking for someone to get us the check, I made DIRECT eye contact with him, and he proceeds to seat a group. Mind you there was a line already so he could’ve checked on us and got us out of there if he was really worried about a seat. Couple more ideas to improve: 1. Turn the lights down. Please. It is bright in there and you already have so many neon lights. 2. More napkins. Or invest in some cloth napkins. I didn’t have anything to place on my lap as I ate. 3. Ditch the crunchy sesame balls. Serve the soft ones instead. 4. Adjust your seating/server set up. There should be no reason our waitress is on the other side of the restaurant. Bathrooms were nice. Don’t let Instagram fool you. I probably won’t come back. Maybe I will to see if they listened. Chris and John’s is much more worth the wait (yes I know it’s viet food and not chinese). Hope this helps.

I came here with my girlfriend on a weekday night. The first impressions of the food and restaurant looked great. The decor and setting were nice to look at and the plating was very well done. However it seemed that the food was more style than substance, performative even. The orange chicken Burrito had little depth of flavor, besides being sweet. I understand that Orange Chicken is suppose to be mostly sweet. However there are elements of spice and savoriness that should be present that weren't there at all, making it one dimensional and unpleasant the more you eat. A candy burrito is how I'd describe it. The hot oil chili noodles were also a big disappointment. You would expect the noodles to be spicy right? The one we ordered was only sweet, and tasted like sugary noodles. We also ordered the Birria Noodle Soup. The broth was very good and not as heavy as you'd think, aside from that, the noodles and beef were just alright. We also ordered egg drop soup and cucumber salad, which we thought were good. However for a restaurant's few bright spots to be the side dishes is damning. A big downside was the service. We came in at 6pm and it was around 75% filled. After getting seated, we waited for a waiter to take our order. During that time we saw 1 waiter, an older Chinese middle aged woman essentially waiting most of the tables. The other 2 waitresses, an older aged women and a younger Asian girl spent most of their time either in the kitchen by the cashier and standing idly. The table next to us who came after us got their drinks and a waiter sooner than we did. After 20 minutes I went up to the cashier and was finally able to order our food. I came with decent expectations as I've heard online our great this place is but the service was very disappointing. I understand the restaurant was relatively busy, but its very disheartening to wait 20 minutes for a waiter to even approach us, and watch 2/3 of the waiters hide in the kitchen or stand around idly. However after that, the service was very good. Our waiter named Katherine, who happened to be the middle aged Asian lady waiting most of the tables was very helpful and attentive with water and the food. Overall, Dragon Casa leaves a lot to be desired and was really disappointed. The service was poor besides our overworked waiter Katherine. The food was doused in sugar that seems to be trying to target more mainstream American audiences. If you're American with little exposure to authentic Chinese food and with a sweet tooth, I think you'll like this. However, if you were looking for a fusion restaurant with authenticity and flavors that aren't dependent on sugar, then this isn't the place.

I’m very disappointed with the way customers are treated at this restaurant. Google Maps clearly states that the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM. My wife and I drove about 45 minutes to get here and arrived at 8:50 PM, well before the posted closing time. However, we were refused service because we were told the kitchen had already closed at 8:45 PM. If the kitchen closes earlier than the official closing time, that information should be clearly communicated online. Customers plan their visit based on the hours you publish. It is extremely frustrating and disrespectful to make people drive that far only to be turned away before the advertised closing time. We were genuinely excited to try this place because the food looked very interesting, but after this experience I would not consider coming back. I hope the restaurant updates its hours or improves communication so other customers do not go through the same situation.
