Amazing first experience at Il Bracco! Came for an early Valentine's dinner and despite it being completely packed got super quick servicd. The staff is attentive, extremely friendly and professional. Beautiful restaurant as well with patio seating and nice clean bathrooms. Highly recommended for a date night or classy outing. Make sure to make a reservation if you come for supper because it fills up quickly. Favorite dishes: Fisherman's stew Gomeli Steak tartare
Exceptional food, service, and ambience! Servers meet you outside while you’re waiting, attention is prompt and thoughtful inside, and the food is made with love! I can always find something a little new or different to try. Thank you Drew for service with a smile!
Their sourdough bread is insanely good... the best I've ever had. The Sician Crudo appetizer with capers on salmon, tuna and scallops was incredible. Try the specials that aren't listed on the menu. They usually will tell you what's new. I tried a seafood stew that was amazing. The wine selection is also great. No complaints other than you better make a reservation and be on time or you're gonna be fighting for a seat here.
The food was delicious 😋. I went for my sister's birthday and they put a candle in our desert. Our waitress Naomi was very courteous and her attitude added to the amazing atmosphere. I had the plaza salad which was delicious and pretty large. You NEED a reservation the place was packed but you still could here your table.
Had a 9pm reservation and couldn't get seated until about 9:15 but they gave us a free appetizer to make up for it which was very generous. All the staff was very friendly, kind and not over the top. They gave us our privacy to eat and stopped by just enough. The vibe is great and its all booths except the bar and 3 tables. Its an upscale place but you wont spend a ton here, it was decently priced. The Spicy gemelli is really good, id just like it to have a touch more sauce and topped with Ricotta or a cheese of some sort but the sauce and pasta is good! The bolognese and the Meatballs are really good as well, and they have the best focaccia bread ever. Overall I give the place an 8.3/10. Definitely recommend.
Had a great experience tonight! Angelina was our server and she did an excellent job! (I’m sorry I realized my math was incorrect and tipped less than I should’ve!) Was very quick and attentive to our needs! Food is always great. Probably our favorite Italian place in Dallas. We didn’t like their crab dish, so they took it off the receipt which was nice of them. Spicy Gemelli, focaccia, artichoke, and meatballs are must.
First of all. The entire staff is fantastic. From the time you walk in, you know you are welcome here. The bartenders here are great, notably Jacob and Monica who are very helpful in explaining some of the menu items I had questions on. I got the Sicilian crudo, which is a fantastic appetizer to get since it is light and refreshing. The seafood was very fresh. I opted for a second appetizer, the meatballs, which are a very generous portion of meatballs that are as good or better than Lavo (NYC, LA, LV, Singapore). Can't wait for their Scottsdale location to open.
Il Bracco continues to set the standard for a refined dining experience in Dallas. The food is consistently excellent. Every visit delivers the same high level of quality, which is a testament to the kitchen’s attention to detail. The service is solid and professional throughout, creating an atmosphere that feels perfectly “Dallas”. A special note must be made of Whitney, who works the front desk and manages the room with remarkable class and grace. She welcomes guests warmly, keeps everything flowing seamlessly, and truly elevates the overall experience. Il Bracco remains a reliable favorite and a restaurant I’m always confident recommending for both business dinners and special evenings out.
We had a wonderful experience at Il Bracco. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit—the food was fresh and flavorful, the drinks were perfectly made, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The service was excellent; everyone was attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of. It was one of those dinners where everything just flowed smoothly. We truly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be returning.
I am not going to lie. After COVID, every restaurant increased their base tip and still has ridiculous services. I personally think it was very unfair to pay tips. This restaurant, from the beginning till end they had a perfect service. I think it was first time I just had an experience after COVID. Every single time when I paid tips, I felt it was a waste. I visited at around noon and it was a busy time, but every server was very nice. It was first time I didn't think it was a waste for the tip. Pastas were ok. Ice cream with olive oil was great. Mojito was bad.(it should have more mints.) Even with these, I can still rate five stars. I will definitely visit again.
Great Space, outdoor dining in November doesn't get much better than that, service Superb, Food we both ordered Marsala with Trumpet Pasta, disappointing, very gummy However when mentioned to Jessica the Mgr? She expressed wish we had spoken up sooner would have fixed the meal, which she did in the end and removed both pasta dishes from our bill. Will definitely patronize and recommend this eatery to friends. Tiramisu was delicious.
The meatballs were tremendous and very fresh.. Especially with the Focaccia.. Very tasty.. My only gripe is that the Focaccia was cold, but taste is spot on. We also had the steak which was good. The sear on it was great and all, but there were a couple of pieces of steak that were more salty than others.. Personally, the Green Salsa Verde hurts the dish more than adds to the dish, but the person I was with said otherwise. The carrots with the Steak were good though. The Al Limone pasta was a miss unfortunately. Very simple pasta and 3 decently sized shrimp.. Not worth the $28 price tag.. Chicken Piccata was very good.. Highly recommend that dish.. The chicken was soft and succulent. Wine was good too
iL Braco delivers a gratifying experience. The atmosphere feels light and energetic, particularly when the bar fills up and the dining room is abuzz with conversation. It gets a bit loud so be ready for that. The service is good. The pastas are cooked properly and the sauces are rich in flavor. The focaccia bread and ricotta was a highlight. The artichokes were not. The desserts were sublime. I’d like to come back and try some other dishes!
The food is fresh and delicious. For appetizers we ordered fried artichokes and the focaccia. Both were extremely good. The whipped ricotta that came with the focaccia was slightly sweet and paired perfectly with the bread. The entrees ordered were the Caio e Pepe, Eggplant Parm, and NY Strip Steak. Obviously Caio e Pepe has tons of black pepper in the dish, but was too peppery for my taste. The Eggplant Parm was delicious (not as crispy as I thought) but difficult to eat because it was extremely hot since it came to the table in an al clad stainless steel baker. I guess it’s great if you like your entree piping hot through out your entire meal. My husband loved his steak with the salsa verde, which was fresh and garlicky. Dessert was ice cream with pistachios and olive oil. This was not our favorite. The ice cream was perfect, so light and airy. I accidentally got a spoon of olive oil and it wasn’t pleasant. Otherwise, the meal was fresh and delicious overall. The service was top notch. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Water glass filled to the top before half empty. Plates were cleared pretty quickly. I would come back to try more dishes. Make a reservation for dinner though!
The ambiance and staff at Il Bracco are top-tier, but the food was a bit of a letdown. Aside from the meatballs, which were delicious, the dishes felt off-balance. The salmon was under-salted, and the Cacio e Pepe was so heavy on the pepper it was hard to enjoy. There is a lot of potential here given the great service, but the kitchen needs to refine the seasoning to match the price point.
Super chic and cute place! The food and service were okay. The servers didn’t really greet us when we sat down and immediately ask us what we wanted to drink. When I tried to get the servers attention it felt like she was trying to run away because she avoided eye contact. I had high hopes for this place because of all the reviews but truly disappointed.
