Opinions de Katy Coffee Lab Dallas
This is a sweet coffee shop located close to the start of Katy Trail. There's plenty of space to work or relax. I visited because of my coffee passport and ordered a vanilla latté with almond milk, which was tasty. My only issue was finding parking in the afternoon - it took me a while to locate a street parking spot. Despite this, the coffee is good, and I enjoyed talking to the staff about the coffee passport. This place is worth a visit.
Great coffee shop in a great area. Tried out their Sugar Cookie and Lavender Dreams. The Sugar Cookie has dulce de leche and the Lavender Dreams has a pleasant lavender flavor without being overpowering. Kassy the Barista behind the counter was great! Excellent service and super knowledgeable of the menu. If you're in the area it's a definite stop.
The cutest coffee shop/space. Very comforting and quiet spot to stop by. The staff were very sweet especially Dany. She helped me out pick the best coffee and it was amazing! Will definitely be coming back to try everything!!
Excellent coffee offerings at a reasonable price. We ordered an espresso, a Kalita pour over, and an almond croissant. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable.
😍 such a gem 💎 ☕ Cortado w/ oat milk was perfect 🔥🔥 🪑seating is plentiful inside & out 👨👨👦👦 📶 Good WiFi 👩💻 🅿️ Parking is lil non-obvious. There's a garage to right of café (when facing café) that has a bunch of visitor parking spots on ground level. 🚗 I love the modern design they gave this place. I am 💯% coming back! Maybe even becoming a regular 🤔
Caffè macchiato paired with a Topo Chico. The pull was perfect! Really showcased the bright/fruity flavors of the bean. However, if you hate light roasts then you should get something else! Some people confuse fruity with sour and might not appreciate Katy's macchiato. Great ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. Power outlets are present! Parking is hard to find as the Katy Apartment lot is full at times. There is limited street parking as well. Great first impression!
In town visiting friends. Decided to walk the trail a bit. Hot day - ordered 2 iced americanos on 5/29 at 2:01pm. Barista working was super friendly and knowledgeable! Clean space & convenient to the trail. Highly recommend.

This coffee shop is a great place to go on a morning bike ride on the Katy trail!
Amazing coffee, walked in here after a run and was greeted with the warmest welcome. Made conversation with Daniela, she was so sweet and had great recommendations. I ended up drinking the best latte I’ve ever had.
Usually not a cafe person. Would rather make it at home. However, decided to give this coffee shop a try since I pass it every morning during my morning runs. I got an oat milk with vanilla latte and it was the best latte I ever had. Daniela was very kind & attentive. She asked me about my day which was very nice. 10/10 in all aspects! I have gone multiple times even when I do go run and love my interactions with Daniela. Amazing human being!
Probably the best and most affordable coffee shop in the area. I got an iced vanilla latte with Oatmilk, almond croissant, and the Gouda bagel sandwich (absolutely slapped), and spent $22 altogether. Service was super quick and they had a nice seating area. Highly recommend
I decided to stop by after my walk at the Katy Trail near by, the location is convenient. I talked to the sweetest barista named Daniela and her drink recommendation was super delicious! the atmosphere of this coffee shop was chill and Danielas charismatic energy made my visit worth it! I look forward to trying something new next time.
The coffee here is so good, made with espresso that is rich and balanced. The specialty drinks are interesting without being super sweet. My only complaint is that the location is definitely understaffed, usually there's one barista who is doing everything, and a long line.
I go to the lab for a coffee and a bite almost every morning and they never fail to make me smile and give me wonderful service. The girls that run the desk do a great job keeping the environment friendly and positive. They make amazing coffee and the avocado toast and banana toast is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend this place for your next coffee stop !

I can't say enough good things about this charming coffee shop! It's an absolute gem for remote work and relaxation with a few outlets. The wifi and internet here are rock-solid, ensuring a seamless online experience. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, with a very chill and mostly quiet vibe that's perfect for focus and unwinding. The space itself is small, but it's beautifully designed with a minimal and modern aesthetic that I adore. The only downside, and it's a minor one, is that parking can be quite challenging due to limited guest parking for the attached apartment building. Overall, this coffee shop is a real hidden treasure, and I can't wait to return for more great coffee and peaceful moments!
Little coffee shop that's almost exclusively for residents in the complex - very limited public parking, but opens into the leasing office lobby. Decent brews, and quiet, bright space for laptop work or people-watching, across the street from the trail.

The food and coffee is excellent and as a resident I really enjoy having a coffee shop in the building. I just wish they would open on time. It’s advertised as 7am but they rarely have someone there at that time. I highly recommend the Avacado toast with a fried egg on sourdough!
Ehh. This place is just ok due to its convenient location near the trail, but the quality of food/drink is average. The menu is limited and doesn’t even have the ingredients listed for anything- you have to ask one by one until you find something that sounds good which just made me feel bad for asking what felt like too many questions. The establishment itself is in a modern luxury apartment building which is part of why the prices are pretty high. The cleanliness and customer service was lacking. Parking is subject to availability on the street or in a small side lot.

It was pretty understaffed for a Saturday morning. I ordered a latte (forget what it was called--used caramel and vanilla syrup) and although it was good coffee, the syrup was not mixed in properly and sank to the bottom. The staff member was OK (she was definitely overworked and the other barista was very much needed), but the other customers were rather chilly, and my croissant order took a while to come out, considering it was just a croissant.

Quick pit stop after a 10mi walk. Hot Americano was decent. The almond croissant was disappointing. Lacks almond flavor. Dry. Stale. Service was ok. Clean, roomy seating area.

Please transition to better oat milk. The oatly Barrista brand is the closest to the taste and texture of good oat milk. There s an upcharge or .75 cents for oat milk and the latte tastes awful with whatever brand of oat milk that is being used
The Hispanic woman working when my husband and I visited at 11:35 was very rude and had terrible customer service. I asked for water after ordering and she said when I can get to it in a condescending tone. I was taken aback because that’s a given and a very poor response to customer. I didn’t say anything, I waited. Got the drink I paid for w/o water… no worries because we were still waiting for my husband’s drink. He got his and then I asked again (I would not have had to ask but the water jug on the counter was empty). Her response was “after I finish making these drinks” the shock. How rude the most appropriate time would have been by the last drink we ordered, really with my actual drink. She also barely greeted us it was like pulling teeth to get her to acknowledge us. She was super nice and friendly to everyone else. Pretty sure she was racist maybe she doesn’t like interracial couples. Don’t care. This is very unfortunate. We will never return. You need people on your staff that have more training in customer service because it’s 2024- this is unacceptable.
I came into this cafe for what I thought would be a breakfast deal avocado bagel with a small coffee as advertised. The barista proceeded to make my bagel and I of course requested my coffee. The barista stated that it was no longer a part of the deal and stared at me. What’s advertised is honored! and she did not honor what was advertised instead stared at me. I don’t think I will be back. The prices are also ridiculously high as if we are in a special area. The customer service is mediocre at best please do better!
