10/10 I came here just to on a whim, and wow! So good! I got the grilled pork vermicelli bowl and a side of the grilled pork spring rolls. The meat was tender, the veggies were fresh, and the service was so on top of things. The bowl was such a sizable portion that I ended up taking the spring rolls to go.
**My Go-To Pho Spot in Dallas – Absolute Perfection!** Let me tell you about my favorite pho place in Dallas – the one I visit at least once a week because I just can't get enough. The broth here is nothing short of incredible – deep, flavorful, and absolutely soul-warming. My usual order is the chicken pho with chili oil, and every single time it hits the spot perfectly. What makes this place stand out: - They always hook me up with extra onions when I ask (and I always ask) - The bamboo shoots and mint leaves come neatly packed separately so everything stays fresh - They include a disposable soup spoon which makes enjoying the broth so much easier - The portion size is ideal – satisfying but never overwhelming This is hands down my comfort food spot. The consistency is amazing – I've never had a bad bowl here. If you're in Dallas and love pho, you owe it to yourself to try this place. Just be warned: one visit and you'll be hooked like I am! **Best pho in town – no question.**
Flavorful Vietnamese Cuisine with Top-Notch Service I just had a fantastic meal at Pho is for Lovers. The pork banh mi was everything you'd want—crispy, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The beef pho had a rich broth and perfectly tender beef. The fried shrimp rolls were a crispy, delicious treat that I couldn’t get enough of. The Thai tea was creamy and refreshing, while the passion fruit juice had a bright, tropical taste that complemented the meal. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the place was spotless, including the restrooms. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this is your spot!
The pho was really good, the best we have eaten here in DFW. The portion was pretty generous, and the beef slices were thick and tender. The soup was delicious. We also ordered the grilled pork vermicelli. The pork was grilled and contained charcoal fragrance. Service staff were warm, friendly and professional. The place was bright, cosy, clean, and child-friendly. When I attempted to return the high chair my toddler used, the service staff told me they would sanitize it first. First time I witnessed such high standards of hygiene. Please visit if you haven’t!
When we travel we ALWAYS have to find a Pho spot. This place is SUPER hard to get into because of construction, so be careful! Seriously was worth forcing our way passed all of it! Bf said the pho was a good 4.5/5. 4.5/5 for me. Egg rolls 5/5 Banh Mi grilled pork (aka normal) 5/5 ALSO THE BANH MI WAS BIGGER THAN OUR ARM! Crazy, we ate that so quick! Everyone is hella nice here, and they even have merch! If you’re visiting definitely stop by and try it!
First time trying Vietnamese food 🍲 WOW! There is such a unique flavor profile and richness I didn’t expect in chicken broth. I got the chicken pho and it came with lovely rice noodles, strips of chicken, scallions, red onion, and bone broth. On the side of the dish were fresh jalapeño slices and lime with bean sprouts. The table has nice sauces to add to the broth as well to add heat or savory profiles. The portions are generous and the temperature of the soup is perfect for a winter day. I am absolutely coming here again!
One of the best vegetarian/vegan places. I giving this review after visiting here a few times since last year. They only have a few vegan options but very satisfying.☝🏼 I ordered tofu vermicelli, Tofu spring rolls and Vietnamese ice coffee everytime I visit here. My husband and I loved it. I don't know what to say, but a sip of their Vietnamese ice coffee takes me back to my hometown -Malaysia, where we also have the same flavour of coffee. All the beautiful memories came back to me. 😁 ☝🏼The tofu vermicelli soup came with lots and lots of colorful ingredients, pair well with rolls and housemade authentic coffee. I visit here every month. Good place to hangout, eat and use the internet. Very good customer service too 👍😎 Highly recommended!
Delicious, extremely hot perfect temperature on the broth. Shrimp was a little thought but over than that everything was amazing. Loved the quiet and relaxed space. Clean dinning room and very lovely decor. Great experience and bold flavors. Definitely recommend and definitely going back for more of the menu item simple and elegant.
Always love coming here. Today was excellent service, friendly and super clean. The seafood pho was chocked full of shrimp, squid and scallops. Masks are not mandatory, you are seated well and they use cards rather than cash for a touch free experience if that's your thing Keep up the great work I'll be back again!
Great little place for pho. They even sell small sizes if you're dining in. I got the regular size and it might have been too much for me. I got the beef one and it had great flavor. I wish they had tendon and tripe, but good anyway. Update: Went again for takeout. I haven't had Pho since the pandemic started so I had a big craving. Still great! They packaged everything so nicely.
Simple atmosphere, good fast service and decent pho. My husband likes tripein his pho and was disappointed they didn't have it.
Food is food and the broth has good flavor. I do not think this is the best pho in Dallas (since I have been to many) but I think that is good enough given the price, portions, flavor and service. The place is clean and inviting, worth giving it a try
Restaurant is well run, and provides comfortable atmosphere for delicious food. Ordering was simple and fast, with quick delivery of meal. I ordered the Shaken Beef and a small Beef Pho. The Shaken Beef was by far the better option, with an amazing marinade and BEAUTIFULLY cooked fresh vegetables. The pho was underwhelming, but fulfilling. Would go back to try more!
Pho is for Lovers is as beautiful as it's name. The food and service is great. Expect Vietnamese-American fusion rather than authentic Vietnamese which is to be expected for the area that it is in. It is close to a lot of places you will find interesting like Micheal's Art Supply, World Market and Central Market. It is on the corner of Lover's Lane and Lower Greenville. The area is a fantastic place for a real food or shopping adventure. I had the Beef Pho and my Wife had the Chicken Pho. We also had egg rolls and coconut water. The Pho was spot on. The beef and broth had an earthy beefy taste and was full of flavor. It was packed with meat and noodles. I was surprised at how much of it I ate. They give you a lot of it and I cannot imagine anyone leaving the table hungry. It could easily feed two people or one and a quarter of me. The chicken was good but tasted like boiled chicken. That is just fine with pho. Like the beef there was a lot of it. My wife could not even eat half of her bowel so I had plenty to taste. The egg rolls were some of the best I have had. They were cooked to perfection. Even with the large bowel of pho I really wished I had ordered more egg rolls. They were crunchy on the outside and tender and very flavorful on the inside. The coconut water was way too sweet. I am use to coconut and water with no sweetener. However I am pretty sure the sweetness was added for the American pallet. They just made it too sweet almost to the point it tasted like coconut syrup. Some people may actually like that. However I just added some water to it and it was fine. I would highly recommend this place when you are in the area. The location is great, the food is great, the service is great so go by and see for yourself.
Well, you’ve been warned! If you value your time and money, skip this place and head to a genuine Vietnamese restaurant instead. Let’s start with the summer rolls—dry as cardboard! The staff insisted they were made fresh, but I have my doubts. When it comes to pho, I was disappointed to find several questionable pieces of meat. It’s clear that freshness isn’t a priority here. The soup is pre-assembled, so you can’t really evaluate the quality before adding it to the broth. On a positive note, the broth itself has a lovely flavor, which I appreciated. However, as a southern girl who enjoys some heat in my food, I was surprised to find they charge $0.50 for each container of chili oil. And to top it off, you have to pay upfront, which can lead to unexpected costs by the end of your meal. The Thai tea was the smallest serving I’ve ever seen, and the pho noodles were a mix of gummy and chewy textures, suggesting a lack of consistency in their freshness. It felt like they were using a combination of fresh and older noodles, which really detracted from the experience. This is what happens when a delicate cuisine like Vietnamese food gets turned into a franchise. For a truly satisfying meal, I highly recommend visiting the authentic Vietnamese restaurant at 4302 Bryan St. in Dallas, TX 75204. You’ll thank me later! - Your Neighborhood Foodie
