Went to The Kava Bar and tried Kava for the first time today and absolutely loved it! I was looking for a healthy alternative to going out drinking and this was the perfect choice. The decor is super cute and the staff were very welcoming and informative about what Kava is, even making recommendations based on my preferences. You can tell the owner/staff really care about their customers. All the patrons were super friendly as well. Will definitely be going back!

This space is such a cool environment that gives you the bar atmosphere without the alcohol. They offer something different besides your normal intoxicants. Hey offer plants and other helpful and soothing remedies to our daily lives. Plus they have special events on certain days to bring variety to the space. Definitely a great place to hang and meet new people.

Amazing place where you can hang out, have a drink and chill out with friends! Super lovely honestly and I come here a lot. My favorite drinks are the lucky lemonade and orange creamsicle but there's a ton of options to choose from

Great atmosphere, like a neighborhood bar without the drunks. I'd never tried kava before and it was really pleasant. They also sell kratom drinks, I used to love kratom but I had to stop taking it for medical reasons. A word of advice - though it's legal and relatively safe, kratom (the active ingredient in their Elixir) can sometimes have a powerful effect on some people. It's great, but if you don't want to risk feeling like you just chased a line of coke with some codeine cough syrup for a few hours, maybe stick to the kava, it's pleasant but very mild.

This bar has a unique, humble and earthy framework design. They specialize in therapeutic and euphoric drinks. They also substitute similar comparisions that relate to alcohol substituted drinks without the alcohol. The staff were kind and helpful. Thursday night they Nintendo games on a projector.

My first time drinking Kava and this was the perfect setting for that experience! The bartender Krissy was super nice and took the time to explain the drink and culture to me. I had a lot of questions and she was very knowledgeable. The bar is a lot of fun to hang out at for a few hours, chatting with the friendly locals. They have couches for hanging, a cool fish tank and even a stage area for events. Would love to come back for one of their game nights or open mics.

Amazing people attract amazing people. Somehow they all wound up here. Can't remember ever walking into a place and feeling so welcome. We were officially broke down and sat at Kava Bar waiting on rescue. It was Divine Intervention lol. Made new friends, tried new drinks, fell in love with the whole package. For the service and atmosphere, this place was initially wonderful. I’m a single mom — I don’t get to go out much, so when I do, I cherish my rare “me time.” This used to be a spot where a woman could unwind, make friends if she wanted, or simply exist without feeling pressured to engage. But that all changed one evening. There was this plump, young, beady-eyed man who honestly looked like he might have thyroid issues — and his gaze was… unsettling. His eyes were fixed on me in a way that made my skin crawl. I understand it’s evening, maybe he thought it was harmless to approach the opposite sex, but he just wouldn’t leave me alone. He hovered, he lingered, and the worst part? He was doing it to every woman there. It stopped feeling like a safe, comfortable escape and started feeling like I needed someone to intervene. Seriously, someone put him on a leash.

I’m not a big fan of small places, and there was a tight walking space between the chairs and bar area. Overall, I am neutral about the taste of the drink. It's just an acquired taste.

Just terrible customer service for what should be a chill place. Second worst of any of the two dozen kava bars or so I've visited in the nation. Just buy instant kava on amazon and make it yourself. This place is for kratom addicts.

However, after being unexpectedly banned and feeling as though my support community was pulled away from me without explanation, my perspective has changed. While the bar has its merits in terms of beverages, the way conflicts and misunderstandings are handled leaves much to be desired. Transparency and inclusivity are essential in creating a truly supportive community space, and I hope the management considers improvements in this area. For now, I cannot recommend this place, as I no longer feel it aligns with the sense of community I once valued.

Blatant Disrespect from Staff and Zero Response from Management I’m leaving this review because the way I was treated here; twice, was unacceptable, and management hasn’t bothered to respond to the detailed email I sent about it. The staff member in question is the one with red hair and glasses. Both times I’ve had her, her service has been consistently poor. Most recently, I walked in around 10:30 a.m. and waited about five minutes while she walked past me twice to go play with dogs on the floor instead of acknowledging me. Not “busy,” not “didn’t see me” - she looked right at me and chose to ignore me. I was regular here, and I know the difference between someone being overwhelmed and someone being passive-aggressive. This was deliberate, and it was unprofessional. I even lowered her tip the last time I had her because of her attitude, and unfortunately this confirmed the behavior wasn’t a one-time thing. I emailed management directly, explained exactly what happened, and asked for an actual response - not a template. Days later, I still haven’t heard anything. No acknowledgment. No follow-up. No accountability. This used to be one of my favorite places, but when an employee treats customers like that and management doesn’t even respond, it tells me everything I need to know. At this point, I’m completely fine not coming back.

Service wasn’t so bad but honestly when I just asked for water. I felt very uncomfortable because somebody was just staring at me and the server asked me to buy something or I’d most likely have to leave. There were people sitting comfortably on the couch with water but they didn’t buy anything other than have water the same like I did. I left and even agreed to pay for the water but they refused to take my money. Honestly I don’t believe I’ll come back if that’s the kind of atmosphere. Never felt so uncomfortable to just go somewhere to sit and relax while waiting to get my car fixed.
