Opinions de Zatar Dallas
What a great 70s Burlesque disco night! The entire cast throughout the performance were engaging, talented, and absolutely beautiful. The party continued on the Rooftop where I stayed for a few minutes. I will definitely come back with a few girlfriends to the next show when I'm in town. The Show was held at The Nines! The staff were welcoming and had great drink specials throughout the performance.
Nice rooftop vibe DJ was good drink specials all night. A nice vibe.
Hadn’t been out in a while and this was a great place to unwind! Bartender held no punches on the drinks, deejays knew how to keep the party going and no drama just good energy and lots of fun!!
Awesome staff cool drinks. The rooftop views of Dallas are amazing
Nice atmosphere upstairs and downstairs... I took my niece here for her 21st birthday and she really enjoyed herself...
I have always enjoyed hanging out at the Nines! The service has always been excellent and the bar staff is very friendly! They have a really cool roof top bar! I have seen several fantastic shows there!
I met up with some friends here on a Saturday night. We had a great time and drinks were reasonably priced. The bartender was very nice and remembered what I had ordered. The atmosphere was very nice and the dj was really good. My friends and I enjoyed a great night out. I liked that there were plenty of other bars to choose from in the area. This one had no cover so that was an added bonus. I will definitely be back
Great, fun place, with exceptional staff and an amazing owner! My friend lost his wallet, typically this story ends at the DMV and bank, but in this instance... the owner looked around for his wallet after closing, found it, and kept it safe until we could pick it up! Everything was still there and the owner would not take any compensation, he was just happy to help out a customer. We could not be more grateful. Highly recommend!
Whether you are a native to Dallas or just visiting, you definitely need to check out Dallas’s Hottest place to be in Deep Ellum! No matter if it’s during the week or on the weekend the vibe and drinks are always on point!!! Not to mention they have THC infused crafted cocktails, but wait it gets better….they can also make ANY drink infused with THC including shots!!! The Nines has different events throughout the week and you have to check them all out!!! The doors open at 8pm and we are going all night till close!!! Tuesday: Karaoke Night Thursday: R&B Soul Friday & Saturday: Throwdown Hip Hop/Rap/ Trap with sometimes live performances Sunday: Dress to the Nines with a mix of great music Shout out to my bartenders always doing their thang making some of the best drinks that are very worth the price and it is very reasonably priced! Ask for boo thangs “Batman or Braden” at the bar to hook it up! Tuesday $5 El Jimador blanco and repasado Thursday $6 Crown Royal Happy Hour Friday & Saturday from 8pm-10pm Sunday $5 Crafted THC drinks If you do go, don’t forget to let them know Ruby sent you!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Zatar Restaurant, Dallas, TX Zatar absolutely delivered tonight! I had the salmon and sliders, and both were top-tier. The salmon was perfectly cooked — buttery, tender, and seasoned to perfection — while the sliders had that perfect balance of flavor and texture that keeps you wanting another bite. The vibe was upscale yet cozy, and the service made the whole experience even better. If you’re in Dallas and looking for a place that combines amazing food with great energy, Zatar is a must-try. Definitely a solid 5-star experience.
Delicious and filling food. Andrew did a great job with the hookah. I loved the house flavor with peach, blueberry, and mint so much that I got a refill. The drinks are also tastey and reasonably priced. I got the beef kabobs and a margarita. Ryan was a big help too! A must visit for Lebanese cuisine , cocktails and hookah.
If you feel like exploring new taste you gotta try this spot. we were just looking for something out of our comfort zone and we happened to be around this area so we check it out. Airy and spacious they have 2 separate dining area, one is smoke free and the other is the hooka lounge where you can also dine. I tried the grape Leaves for the first time it is Diffinately new taste that I unlock on my pallete. There are more stuff to chose from on the menu. Explore the menu and you might find a new favorite food of yours.
Food was amazing. Had the gyro plate and my partner had the lamb chops. I also had the Lebanese mule drink and my partner the Oaxacan Old Fashioned. One star minus because it was 7 to 9pm and the AC was either too hot or not working. It stayed uncomfortably warm during my meal. Great speedy service.
Anyone that know me know I LOVE Zatar down! I go here at least a few times a month, and it’s also the first stop when I fly back home from being on vacation. The lamb chops are out of this world. I always order the same thing: Hummus, Cheese Cigars, and the lamb chops. Drinks I always order the Lavender Lemon Drop with Hendricks instead of vodka as well as the espresso martini the way they make it, also a blueberry mint hookah. I mean delicious. Service is always impeccable. I come hungry and leave 100% satisfied every time. It has been hot in Texas so be aware that if you want a hookah you’ll have to sit on the patio (it’s covered but a little warmer than the inside portion of the restaurant) but there isn’t anything including 100 degree weather that will stop me from coming here lol I just sit right next to the AC. The owner is so sweet and attentive, just an overall great spot for friends/family and date nights! Would definitely recommend.
Reservation: We had a reservation, but the place wasn't too busy if you arrived early enough! Service: 5 out of 5. Our server was fantastic! He provided excellent recommendations and made our dining experience enjoyable. Food: 8 out of 10. We began with the hummus, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful! We also tried the gyro plate and shawarma tacos. I highly recommend the tacos as they were absolutely awesome! Overall, this place is fantastic! Just be aware that the area can be a bit sketchy at night. However, it's definitely worth a visit for the outstanding food and great service!
Being married to a Lebanese, I am particular about Lebanese restaurants — but we both loved our experience at Zatar! Salah, a guy that works there has such a personable vibe about him. I would recommend having Arak, the mezze platter, and mixed grill + grape shisha! I love that they play Arabic music, it feels really authentic. Looking forward to visiting again!
I love Lebanese food and tapas so this was destined to be a hit. I stopped in for dinner and ordered a few things on the menu. I started out with tabbouli and hummus, both were fine but I wanted more. Then the falafels came, which went great with my first two dishes. I then received my entree: kafta & tahini, which was delicious and again paired with my first two dishes. I also ordered the booza, a unique ice cream dish. My takeaway is to make sure to order a bunch of different plates in order to maximize mixing flavors, that's the way to eat at this place. Also if they served some berries or limes with that dessert it would be insane.
I came here a few weeks ago for a yelp event. This was my first time trying lebanese/Mediterranean food so I don't really know how it compares to other places. I was pleased with everything about this place. For an appetizer I sampled the cheese cigars, salad, hummus duo, peta bread, and falafal. The hummus duo consisted of spicy and beet humus. Both were delicious and the paired nicely with the peta bred. The falafal was crispy and the tahini sauce it came with was delish. The cheese cigars were good, but a little on the salty side. I'm not usually a fan of salad ,but the salad here was delicious. For the entree we got to sample chicken flat bread and a lamb with rice dish. The chicken flatbread was really good. The lamb was my least favorite. It was tender, but I'm just not a fan of the flavor. To drink I got the spicy margarita. This drink did not disappoint on the spice. It had a jalapeño pepper on the inside and cayenne pepper on the rim. I believe this item isn't on the menu, but you can still order it. The staff here was also amazing. They frequently refilled our water cups and gladly answered any questions we had. They really seemed knowledgable about the items on the menu. I love everything about this place. My only complaint is that the bathroom stalls are a little on the small side. If you haven't been, i definately recommend you check them out.
Chill environment. Nice drinks. Music is good sometimes (they play a lot of oldies) but other than that the vibe is nice 💯
Bartender was cool and trying to make small talk. We got there at 9pm so too early bc it was dead but he showed me a video of it packed at 1am so will have to come back later. The DJ was throwing jams! Good music. I liked the roof top vibe.
Coming here solo as a brown guy from Toronto was a very interesting experience. Black culture where I'm from is predominantly Caribbean, Southern Black culture is something I've only had third-person experience of. I was circling the neighbourhood for a bit, unsure of where I should go since I was on my own. There was a girl promoting the place outside of the club, she told me it was still free entry at that point of the night so I was sold. Pat down was thorough, which is understandable given the local gun culture. I ordered the Red Ball subbed with vodka from a chill bartender, price was right especially for a club. It was very early in the night so the main floor wasn't very active yet, so after some time I wet up to the rooftop to vibe out. I noticed a sign that prohibited cannabis...but EVERYONE was smoking blunts hahaha. The vibe on the rooftop was cool, it was awesome hearing southern rappers in a club like Lil Boosie, Webbie etc. because you don't ever hear that type of music in Toronto clubs. People weren't exactly friendly but not hostile either, I felt comfortable even though I was by myself.
They also have a hookah - $25. Food is delicious, we got humus with bread which was very delicious(half off during happy hour I believe) and a mix plate for $48(it has chicken kebab, lamb kebab(which was very chewy) and ground meat kebab - like adana kebab). I think $48 plate is a little overpriced, I came from NY, so taking into consideration that NY is a very expensive place to eat and many other places in Deep Ellum, Dallas give you more meat for this price, for example Pecan Lodge($17 for a 3 meat plate - one person can barely finish the whole plate), for $48 you should get more meat in this particular place. The servers were really nice, the hookah guy checked on us many times to see if we needed anything else.
Love the rooftop area of this place. The downstairs area is pretty small. I don't like the new "dance floor" area. Too small. I liked it better when it was Red Light Lounge. Other than that, it's a chill spot to hang out for drinks and listen to music.
I dig The Nines, the women are attractive and active (dancing, drinking and sociable). There is not much negativity from the fellas and the staff assists you the whole night from behind the bar to the front door. Nice location, they are near other bars and restaurants. I have a good time every/time I go.
If you're of a certain culture, you'll most likely enjoy this place. The staff was nice, the drinks came quick. Plenty of security guards everywhere. Very good pat down upon entry. The upstairs dance floor was large and if not so cold out probably quite fun. Definitely a place for people liking some booty shaking rap music. I wasn't quite in that kind of dance mood.. lol
Bouncer that was there tonight needs to go thru training again or something. Groped an entire group of dudes and asked my non binary partner to tell him what exact gender they are so he knew if he should pat them down. Why not just use the wand and let them go on their way? Definitely needs to become educated so this doesn’t happen to more people. Won’t be coming back.
Last time i went i had one drink & the room started spinning & i started throwing up… i think that says it all. Never going there again, i didn’t feel normal till that sunday, mind you i went on a Friday..
So I’m leaving a one star review because if google could let me leave a zero I would most definitely give it to this “club/bar” for being the worst establishment in Deep Ellum. This bar is disgustingly prejudice. I recently just went last Saturday with me and a couple of girlfriends, me being the only guy out the group who is 5’0 foot, the shortest and smallest out of them, and pretty much everyone else inside the bar was literally manhandled and harassed by a security guard for using the bathroom. Pushed me to the ground for no reason. Behind this, told my friend that he was about to put his hands on me while I’m inside the bathroom?? (And so y’all are not confused the bathroom is for both male and females, it’s literally just one bathroom for whoever needs to use it, even has a sign showing that right outside the door) So when I come out I’m literally on the floor confused as ever to be on the GROUND!!! For NO reason!!! Men like him have a big insecurity issue within themselves for you to go out your way and hurt others who don’t pose a threat and are just being themselves and I’m only writing this review for a lawsuit because once I tried to still be the bigger and responsible person after I was the one getting touched for no reason, I tried talking to the bartender, security outside and several other workers to get the security name and all I got was “were not obligated to give out that information” asked to speak to a manager “I’m the manager for the night” apparently every person I spoke with is a manager up there which is beyond hilarious and ridiculous. But I thank god for the support system I have… filed a police report and spoke with a lawyer, it’s tragic people still have to deal with this kind of stuff in 2024.
I had heard great things about this place and was excited to celebrate my special day here with friends and family but once we arrived everything went downhill. They refused to seat us despite showing proof of our reservation and after waiting almost half an hour we were finally seated. The owner was extremely rude when we tried to bring it up and refused to hear us out. I totally understand the pressure restaurant owners carry but to go out your way and literally tell us to "get out and find a diff club" is ridiculous. Unfortunately, the night was ruined, I would hate for anyone to go through the same experience.
Charged $90 for parking and when I left I was harassed by a guy trying to force me to let him wash my windshield with his bucket and squeegee. There are no gates or parking lot attendants/security or any indication this is a paid parking lot. I was parked here for 3 hours and received a letter saying I parked illegally and owe $90. No parking is that is expensive. I didn’t even spend that much at the club that night. Not safe, ripped off, stay away from this place!
