Opinions de The Habit Burger Grill Dana Point
My family and I come to The Habit Friday nights after football. Alfredo is awesome! Always welcoming and very attentive. Great food, great experience.
Fan of The Habit. Tasty fresh food and beverages and reasonably priced. Visited on a rainy day and kinda wished it was warmer inside. Felt cooler inside 60s than outside. I like it when it's warm inside but not hot like some places...maybe like 73 degrees or so. Otherwise delicious as always. Also the manager is very attentive and not afraid to be part of the team he leads.
I went to Ralph's in the shopping plaza to pick up a few things after work on my way home. I went into the Habit Burger and Grill got the half chicken club (which was perfect size for me because I typically can't finish a whole chicken sandwich and or burger) with tempura green beans and a large drink I got the passion tea it is so refreshing and for $8, in my opinion you can't beat that in today's economy haha. I ordered my food on the kiosk and it was ready within 10 minutes which is very appreciated because I was hungry!
I visited this location and tried the burger. You can easily place your order at the kiosk and then wait for a text notification when your order is ready. I ordered the steak sandwich, which was incredibly delicious and juicy. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the staff were very welcoming as well. Highly recommend
This Habit creates good habits that are great for your taste buds. The line is always busy but I'm grateful my wait was short. What's yummy is that everything is made fresh and your pockets aren't singing regret afterwards. Yay! More healthier optioned take out! Whoop whoop whoop 🤭 🙌 👏 😀
We order drive through, but we could see how the workers were very careful with our food. The smell was so good. Not the cheapest fast food but could feel that the ingredients are of good quality.
Now, if you know me at all, you'll know that I LOVE me a Good Burger. 🫶🍔🙌🙌🙌 Funny thing is I've lived next door to this Always Busy and seemingly popular burger chain for nearly 6 months and this is my first visit; go figure. 🤷♂️ Anyways, my gf (who is pescatarian) has been telling me for months that I oughtta try them out...So I did.🫡 First thing I noticed was how clean the storefront was, and that the music was both nostalgic and uplifting in a calming sorta way. 🧹🧽🪣🧼🫧 The sort of ambience that makes one wanna just take a breather and enjoy a quality Burger...y'know? As I was by myself, and truly looking forward to trying their Char-Grilled Burger I ordered the Bacon Char Burger *(w/cheese), sandwich only. My order was taken quickly and efficiently with no effort to upsell or make a combo, which was nice and allowed me to TIP generously. When I got to my seat and unwrapped my meaty morsel of majesty I was NOT disappointed: Fresh Bacon. Fresh Toppings. Stacked and MADE perfectly. Char-Grilled, Full Flavored with ZERO greasiness. Mmmm-mmmmm, Mmmmh.🤤🤤🤤 Overall it was a very tasty Burger, and coming in at just $6.99 + taxes, I found it to be both delicious and filling, and Absolutely WORTH every penny. The manager suggested I try their milkshakes next time, and I am sure I will.
UPDATE: I had the company reach out re: my review. I really respect that they took the time to do so. Yes it could be for many reasons, but either way I appreciate that!! Good food, but VERY VERY annoying when you place a $45 order and they cant even mark which 'burger' is the veggie sandwich. Not at all the type of service I was expecting. Also one of the Onion ring orders was clearly more than the other. I really hope that management just looks into the little things, bc that's the whole reason I wanted to patronize The Habit instead of a large chain.
If you order online for curbside remember the food is fresh so give yourself a few minutes. When ordering at the counter you will be greated by, in my opinion, friendly staff. If they seem rushed it's due to the fact that they are trying to ensure you get hot, fresh food. I only wish they still had the steak sandwich. I'm a fan of the burgers and hopefully you will try them and become one too.
The habit is a decent place for burgers and fried food. Today I ordered the steak sandwich and tempura green beans. The order was ready in about 10 minutes. The steak sandwich had a nice beefy chunk of steak, but it was a little chewy hand flavorless. The sauce, tomatoes, and the bread made up for it, but for the price I can’t complain. It was decent. The temporary green beans were cooked perfectly and we’re actually very good. It’s a great alternative to fries or mozzarella sticks. The service was nonexistent since you ordered on a kiosk and your number gets called out or you get a text to notify you that your order is ready. The interior seemed barely clean enough. They could use a makeover. The furniture and tables are a little bit worn, and you can even see wallpaper peeling. Overall, a decent occasional alternative to Carl’s Jr..
Where to begin....I will start with the new Original Impossible burger. I am super excited The Habit finally has a Impossible patty. However, I have definitely had better Impossible burgers. Ruby's being one of them. I put The Habit burger above Burger King beacuse it's not as greasy. As for taste it is just pretty plain. It reminds me of the horrible Veggie patty Red Robin offers. Now not as bad I just got a reminder of that burger when I tasted this new Original Burger. I have been here for around 40+ minutes and not a single person has come out to clean tables I ate on a dirty table. I will also note that since I have been here not a single person has come to dine-in. There was one lady who ordered for to-go. They are semi busy in the Drive-through. Next, the condiments station was out of ketchup and Vitamin water and I had to ask an employee to refill them. That's the reason you see ketchup packets in one of my pictures. Lastly, I took a picture of my fries but I will let you be the judge. They tasted kind of stale, but I don't eat fries very often so maybe I am incorrect. In closing, I don't believe the Impossible Burger at The Habit is worth it's total price for the combo with the food I tasted today. I will try it again, but everyone give it a shot for yourself. P.S the gentleman that helped me with my order was very polite and respectful.
Seventy-five percent of the time our drive-through order is either missing items or incorrect. We end up having to drive back to get what was forgotten, and the staff doesn’t seem to care. Today we went inside the restaurant to avoid any issues. Unfortunately, the order was still wrong. We were given French fries instead of tempura green beans. When we pointed it out, the employee appeared irritated but replaced them. Then we asked for teriyaki sauce that was supposed to be in our ahi, which had also been forgotten. She again seemed put out and tried to charge us 65 cents for the sauce. This employee should not be in a customer service role. We are extremely disappointed, as this establishment continues to get orders wrong time after time.
The food is amazing! Only issue their service is horrible. They are not quick at all. We waited at the drive through window for 20 min for 2 burgers... and this isn't the first time we have had to wait that long at the drive-through window. Basically if your in a hurry dont go there...
Although I appreciate their effort to position this spot as fast food with a drive-thru, it’s not exactly quick, which is fine since you know everything is made fresh to order. I probably would have given fewer stars if I had been last in line. I ordered a burger and halfsies onion rings and sweet potato fries, and it took about 7 minutes to get my food. Imagine everyone else behind me… there were four cars, so the last car could have waited up to 30 minutes! Ultimately, I’ve come to the conclusion that Habit just doesn’t hit the spot for me. I get the hype around their house-made ranch, but honestly, it’s so-so.
Still prefer In-N-Out! Wanted to see what this place has to offer. I did get avocado on my burger. That was great. But, Habit is more expensive and I do not think it is better than In-N-Out. It is NOT that I disliked what I ordered. It is that my preference is still In-N-Out!
This is the second time we come through the drive thru and it’s closed before 10:30. It says on the website and the posted hours that it’s open until 11. There is a night manager that is extremely rude and when he is ready to close early, he does just that. He does not care about the hours or a paying customer.
The food quality is very good here. The problem is they consistently get orders wrong at the drive-thru. Last week, I ordered a Harvest Chopped Salad. I was given a cobb salad, which unfortunately, I didn't realize until I got home. Today, I ordered a Harvest Chopped salad again. Right salad this time, but it didn't have the added avocado that I paid for. It also didn't have the dried fruit and nut topping it's supposed to. Not sure what's going on here, but the managers need to pay closer attention to what is happening at the drive thru. Receiving orders that are incomplete or just wrong should be anomalies and this is 2/2 for me.
26/05/2024 04:40 PM I ordered 1 charburger and 1 Santa Barbara char, made terribly! The meat is spoiled, it was simply burned, it is just bitter, only coals! I tore off the cook's hands for crookedness, so spoil the meat cutlet !! At the important manager of the institution, tell me what kind of shift I worked at this time, I will not come to this shift or when... Your employees just spoil your products, and you lose customers!
Had a terrible experience here yesterday. My bf and I went through the drive through and ordered our food. Drove alllll the way home to realize that our Santa Barbara char was all but bread tomatoes and lettuce. Don’t know how they forgot to include the MAIN ingredient. But the most annoying part of it was going back and then looking at me like I was the dummy dumb dumb that made the mistake. As I’m sure you’re aware that drive thru line moved rather slowly and to have to sit in it twice was a nightmare. The woman at the corporate office told me to go through the drive thru again so the employee would recognize me when I told them they messed up. The lady on the voice com sounded annoyed that I was telling them they messed up on the order. When I finally made it to the front they looked at me as if I was in the wrong for going back and REQUESTING THE FOOD I PAID FOR. you’d think they would be nice enough to apologize, take accountability for having us have to drive all the way back there. But no she looked annoyed, and bothered. Not that we were expecting anything free out of it. It I have worded in customer service my entire life. Not a complimentary fry, a shake nothing. Just here’s your meal and later. Terrible service and terrible representation of a company. Never going back. On top of that they took it out on my meal my burger fell apart, there was a pound of mayo and everything looked like it was just jammed into the bread. Super gross
