Place wasn't busy at all when we arrived. It was low key and quiet. The place was clean. Our waiter Chris was very pleasant and nice even though he seemed kinda new. We ordered the classic combo app which is one of our favorites every time we come to Applebee's. Entree came out and was delicious. This is one of my favorite places.

We had a wonderful dinner at Applebee's! My family loved the many appetizer options. My son is a burger guy and theirs did not disappoint. They're fries were perfect with just a few crispier ones for me. Hubby was happy with his red meat and garlic green beans and one of my favorites, my Oriental Chicken Salad, was absolutely delicious! Server was wonderful and it was clean and well spaced seating too.

Hubby and I enjoyed a fine lunch. Great service. Dined on nicely grilled and tasty bourbon chicken/shrimp as well as delicious fish and chips. Nice atmosphere too.

I arrived a little early for my online order, and the waiter went to check on my food. He came back and told me that the restaurant did not have my order. I got concerned, but he told me to wait a few minutes and it should come through. Sure enough, it did, and I got my food. It was nicely prepared, hot and very tasty! This location is far from me (I was in the area), but I will seriously consider coming back!

I had the pleasure of being served by Brayan C. during my recent visit, and he truly made the experience memorable. From the moment we sat down, Brayan greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly attitude that immediately made us feel welcome. He was attentive throughout the meal, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. His kindness and helpfulness stood out, whether he was recommending dishes or answering questions about the menu. It's clear that Brayan takes pride in providing excellent service, and his positive energy made our dining experience enjoyable from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back, and it’s thanks to Brayan’s top-notch service. Highly recommend!

We went here tonight. Amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door. We interacted with at least 4 staff members, including the manager, and all were pleasant and welcoming. Ziggy, at the bar was awesome. The way he interacted with every customer in the bar area was impressive. We did encounter a minor issue where we ordered loaded waffle fries from the half-price apps menu, but we were given the wrong item (loaded chicken regular fries???) This was strange because we specifically inquired about the half-price apps and this item was not half-price nor did we see it on the app menu. We didn't make a big deal; we just brought it to the attention of our server so they could be aware. Overall excellent experience. We are lookin forward to returning.

Do not let the bad reviews fool! Maybe it was bad then, but the place is good now. Haven’t been to an Applebees in years. Have never thought of coming to one either. Showed up off a recommendation from a friend. The food was great. And the specialty cocktails were surprisingly good as well! Our server Michael was the GOAT. Great service in a timely manner. Manager came to the table too. He was very nice and professional as well. The atmosphere is a bit on the darker side and quiet- but I think it’s just right. We will definitely be coming back!!

Me and my mom decided to go to Applebee’s because I’ve been wanting to go for a while now and we’ve never got the time. We finally got the time this weekend and when we went, we were sat so fast there was no line the hostess was the sweetest girl ever her name was Madi and when we got sat, we got server almost as soon as we finally found out what we wanted to drink and ask me and my mom are we’re very picky and very specific and our server Joseph was the perfect person to accommodate with us and when I asked if the sweet tea was sweet enough. He was like let me get you some to try and he brought me down some and it was perfect by the way so if you want if you like sweet sweet tea, come to Applebee’s anyways not to make this long. He was the sweetest he commented to my specifications so much so that he picked out stuff and did not even bring the salad out before asking a question on if this was right and then when she said that it wasn’t, he was like I got you no problem let me just go get the chefs to remake it and even after my mom said no that’s fine. I don’t want them to have to remake it. He still persisted and it was amazing and this boy Rilee, he was the sweetest thing he kept coming over and recommending us some stuff and talking to us, and it was really really sweet. I really love the atmosphere. The restaurant is very homey unlike these new restaurants changing to more corporate look this restaurant say Homie the lighting was perfectly dim for my liking. It was not too bright the noise level was perfect. I give this place a 10 out of 10. I would come back every day if I could.

The bartender Michael was brilliant. On top of orders, fulfilled all my requests and then some. 10/10 customer service and an amazing hire. I will be returning to Applebee's because of his stellar service throughout the entire night. Shout out.

Eilisa was our server she is amazing. I have allergies and she was very responsive to making sure that my food did not contain the ingredient that i am allergic too. The manager was awesome as well.

This location has great service! The 2 for $29 meal option is a great way to have the full price entrees for less money with an appetizer. The chicken & shrimp is delicious! We had the $5 mucho cocktail, the blue motorcycle. Definitely will be back for the great waiter and good food items!

Updated 3/30/2021: I came back and ordered the french onion soup and cajun salmon with garlic mashed potato. The french onion soup was very good, and the cheese is my favorite part of the soup. The salmon didn't have as much cajun flavor. The mashed potato was good but can't really taste the garlic. I actually ordered the loaded mashed potato but I didn't want to make a fuss and just settled without the "loaded" even those the loaded version was really good when I had it the last time I was here. The green beans were much better this time, but again, I couldn't taste the garlic. Not sure if they use fresh garlic or maybe my taste bugs are off. Anyway, Edgar was my waiter again. This time he was busier than the last. I finished my meal and water, and he stopped by a but later. He was still very welcoming and friendly. I can't remember the last time I went to an Applebee's... Maybe at least a decade ago. The governors' and mayors' covid guidelines have negatively impacted businesses and the people across the country. I'm blessed to still have a job, and to help the businesses trying to survive and their employees who still have a job but getting a lot less tips, I'm eating out more as a way to help. After walking in, Edgar, my waiter, greeted me and brought me to a table. The menu has a note saying that it has been sanitized. I ordered the shrimps with parmesan steak with loaded garlic mashed potatoes and garlic string beans. My favorite on the plate was the loaded garlic mashed potatoes which has cheese, bacon and butter for $2.49 more. It didn't worth $2.49 more but it was delicious though!! The garlic string beans were a little over cooked, and I prefer them a little crunchy but cooked. I got the medium well steak and it was drier than I was thinking, but that is what well to well done often turned out. The shrimps were small, not as pictured but it has a nice flavor. Overall, it was a pretty good meal, but I will order something else next time. Probably the cajun salmon, which is what I was going to get. Edgar was very attentive. He brought a refill for the Sierra Mist without my asking. I like that because I didn't have to go without a drink, nor did I have to ask for one. This is the time to give back, not just the holiday season... Until America is opened back up.... We need to help these businesses and employees suffering right now. If we don't try, some businesses might never come back and we will miss them if they are gone one day.

I was seated quickly. My order was correct the first time, which was great because often, my steak arrives too rare for me and I have to send it back. This was the 3rd or 4th visit and each time, my steak has been cooked correctly. It took longer than expected for a server to attend to me, considering how empty the place was. But once I was attended to, I had no more issues.

My family and I had an outstanding time at this location. The food was signature Applebee's, extra average. The truly outstanding part of our visit was our server, Danielle. A true professional from start to finish and deserving of every penny of tip. She was very attentive to the needs of the table, knowledgeable of the restaurant's offerings and provided service with a genuine smile. If I knew for certain that Danielle would be our server, I would take the family back without hesitation.

I was in the area on a business trip. Honestly I didn't expect much from the chain but was hungry and it was close and open. Boy, was i surprised!! I had the Swiss mushroom burger and it was absolutely amazing!!

Had not been to an Applebee's in decades and unsure why but glad I stopped. The food was good. I enjoyed the blackened salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli. It was flavorful. Applebee's could use an update to its interior but that didn't diminish the food quality. Service was OK.

We sat in the bar area this last time and were one of only a few people and it took quite a long time to get just a salad and appetizer. Everywhere else looked like they were much better attended. It was on a Sunday afternoon as well so wasn't expecting it to take that long. Otherwise the pretzels and cheese are literally the best in show and don't compare to other similar pretzel and cheese options. The standout though was actually the grilled chicken that came on the grilled chicken Cesar salad. It was perfect. It was moist and perfectly seasoned. It was surprisingly tasty chicken for a salad. We actually ate all the chicken before we had ate much of the salad.

Called in an order for pickup. Everything was ready on time and packed neat. Everyone I spoke with was beyond friendly from the person on the phone to the car side service. The food was hot and pretty good but didn’t have very much seasoning beyond the chicken in the chicken spinach bowl. The wings were fried just right but I think they’ve changed from their normal wings. Overall, great location

We decided to try Applebee's again after avoiding chain restaurants for several years - for a number of legitimate reasons. We were pleasantly surprised with the attractive menu, reasonable prices, and excellent service! We particularly were drawn to the "2 for $25" options! We'll be going back!

Went to lunch today (Thursday) we arrived at 1pm got seated promptly. Ten minutes later our drink order and food order was taken by a waiter. 17 minutes after being seated we are served our water and ice tea. Five minutes later we are served our meals. Food was very good..... until my mother pulled out a large blonde hair out of her mouth. The waiter never asked us how our meal was and we never mentioned the hair in her salad/mouth. We both have worked retail and we know these things can happen. The food was very good and we will definitely go back. However the lack of attention when there were only six more guests in the restaurant seems off.

Was waited on by a manager. She didn't want to be there and never smiled. As she took my empty plate, she leaned over the table, pulled up the payment option on my kiosk, and walked away...no "can i get you anything else?" just a simple 'done eating? Good, now get out.' Food tasted amazing but was a bit pricey for a fast casual.

This restaurant (chain?) seems to have made some changes lately but I can't say I'm on board. I had a craving for a burger so we stopped there for lunch. The fries with my burger were very good, the burger was average, way too big and cost $16. For lunch! YIKES! Trim the burger down to something I can at least nearly finish and drop the price and I'll be back. Other than that I'll skip it. Atmosphere there is - Applebees.

Was there on Thanksgiving night which they were nice to be open. The service was great. But unfortunately the execution of the food wasn't great at all. I ordered 4 cheese Mac with chicken tenders. There wasnt much cheese to hold it together. And they poured too much of the chicken tenders honey sauce which made the food too sweet.

I usually don’t like to comment but I can Sunday 11/16 I have to say this was some of the worst service I ever had. It took us like 10 mins to get a server then my son’s food came out before any of us got drinks. My food was okay because I proceeded with caution and just got some appetizers. Husband got the double crunch shrimp did not like it. No one checked on us while we ate and then it took like another 20 mins to get the bill. The manager seemed nice but I wish he would address the issues with the restaurant.

I had the all you can eat shrimp and fries with a side of mozzarella sticks. The guy working the bar area was on point in his service as well as very professional. He was taking care of the bar area as well as anyone who walked in. The food was filling and pretty well priced. And of course can’t forget to have the dark berry Mountain Dew non alcoholic drink exclusive to Applebees, and yes they can add alcohol to it. The TVs didn’t really have anything worth watching and it wasn’t very busy at all. Overall great time and I’d definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

The location was pretty empty when we arrived, but we were still seated in a corner next to the stairwell. The servers were polite, but didn't give us napkins when we started to eat even though I was eating ribs. The ribs were pretty tasty, but it felt like there wasn't much meat on the bones of the ribs (it almost felt a little like a sample). The fries were alright, nothing special, but the over all quality wasn't really great. The table appeared dirty but apparently it was just permanent marking on the wood. I personally definitely don't plan on returning and the dishes we ordered felt were done better at other restaurants.

Atmosphere is cool. Service could have been better. The restaurant was not busy during our visit however, there was a long wait time for our order. Customer service is poor. Our waitress did not check in with us regularly and she forgot to provide condiments, napkins, and silverware that we requested from her multiple times. The restaurant is clean enough. Goin here is one of those ideas that sound good but isn't. I came here with my wife and son for dinner because he heard a song mention Applebee's. When we arrived the place had a dead vibe to it. The host did not greet us with a smile or a welcome, just asked how many and sat us in a section. Then proceeded to stare at us for the rest of the time. My wife and I ordered drinks but only one was brought to the table and the second one never came. The food was still cold after coming out of the kitchen, and my son's chicken quesadilla was hard. The place felt like being in a retirement home honestly. No energy no friendly greetings or staff and just over all not a place I think I'd take my family back to. Definitely spend your money somewhere else.

Second time at this location, and this time we didn’t stay long. There weren’t many people inside and it took entirely too long to get seated. Especially when we had three groups of people get seated before us when we came in first. A rude server first and then a host who wasn’t friendly after waiting for ten minutes with no sign of a server we ended up leaving. I’m giving them 2 stars because our first experience wasn’t as bad, but I will most likely not visit this location again. All I wanted was a Triple Berry Sangria.

Absolutely spot on, everything we expected and more. Made for the perfect date night. Cocktails were top notch and served by the bucket - how drinks should be measured. Cute decor and pics of the local sports teams, the sticky carpets giving that extra authentic character. Server was kind and attentive, always present and went really went above and beyond for us. The food as expected delightful - the burgers were extra moist! Can’t wait to come back xoxox In all seriousness my burger was dripping water. Unsure what that was about!

Last night was a mess of epic proportions. We were seated right away and were not greeted by our server until more than 20 minutes had passed. It was 45 MINUTES until we even got WATER, and well over AN HOUR before we saw any food. Half our order ended up wrong. We weren’t given silverware and had to get up to get straws ourselves. I didn’t want to say anything because they were clearly struggling. But they didn’t even have a manager touch our table or take something off the bill to apologize. This location could use a serious overhaul, or at least new management. They also don’t do the late night happy hour anymore which is frustrating. Not even open after 9. That used to be my favorite thing about Applebees. I only gave it 2 stars because the food we got was at least hot and our waitress was nice, if spacey.

Decided I wanted to take advantage of the unlimited boneless wings promotion, so I stopped in at this location. Initially the service was prompt and friendly, but once I placed my order and the first serving was brought out that was it (wings were ok, nothing to write home about, more breading than anything). I sat at the bar, but the bartender was no where to be found, he made eye contact with me from across the room, came over to the bar, stood in front of me to do something on the computer, and NEVER asked me if I needed anything before he walked off again! When I finally flagged him down, he asked me “can I get you anything else” almost as if to rush me out, I paid for unlimited wings, but the mindset seems to be very limiting. After I had finally had enough of not being attended to, I attempted to waive down the manager, but he stopped and spoke to me as if I was bother him! This is one customer they won’t have to worry about again!

This location has the worst service ever. We had to wait to be seated, and we had to wait for the food more than 45 minutes to serve the appetizer, and 25 minutes to serve the drink. Decided to leave with zero tip. The servant is SOLOMAN. If he ever become your servant, ask to change him. The worst ever

Disappointing experience. The waiter kept coming to our table every minute asking if we were ready to order, which was annoying. We only wanted water, but unlike most places, they never bothered to refill it. We also asked for napkins (none were on the table) and never received them—we had to go to the front desk ourselves near the end of the meal. The “2 for $25” deal is very limited and feels misleading, with only a couple of basic options unless you pay extra. And finally, I know Applebee’s is not a fine-dining restaurant, but I at least expected the check to be placed in a check presenter. Instead, they handed it to us like a loose piece of paper. Honestly, I felt like paying them in loose bills and coins just to match the level of presentation. I still left over 18% tip just to be nice, but the service didn’t earn it. Giving 2 stars only because the portions were okay.

Recently went to eat at this location with 3 other people food was great but service was not. The two host in the front were wonderful and so helpful but when it came to the server named Danielle complete horrible experience. She was extremely rude to us and very racist. This is not the first time I've seen her, last time she wasn't our server but we saw her drinking alcohol while working. Feel like you shouldn't be working in a restaurant establishment when you can't pick and choose who enters to enjoy there time and eat but end up feeling very uncomfortable when your server is racist to you and your group.

The waiter who served us forgot to bring us the sauce we asked for which was Honey mustard. After 20 min he brought them to us. Then we had to wait a long time just to ask him for the bill because he didn't show up at our table. The service was really very bad. The place was not that crowded. This visit was not planned and we arrived here as a last option since other restaurants had a long wait time. The last time we had Applebee’s was about 2 summers ago in Richmond so we decided to give this location (Fair Lakes) a shot. Upon arrival there was a large group waiting to be seated, however the hostess was able to sit me and my son within 5 minutes of our arrival. Ordered a couple drinks while we decided on what to order. We decided to try the classic combo appetizer which had boneless wings, spinach & artichoke dip, chips, chicken quesadilla, mozzarella sticks and celery. We were previously only given one plate and I asked for another and I wish I hadn’t. The plate looked disgustingly dirty but I opted not to say anything to keep the peace. Opened up the napkin wrapped fork and knife and those were nasty looking as well. Luckily, I had ordered a glass of water and dipped my fork and knife in it to try and clean it a bit. We didn’t want these things to ruin our experience so we decided to dig in. For starters, the chips were stale. The artichoke dip was okay but nothing worth finishing. We ate the boneless wings which was about 4-5 pieces, as well as the chicken quesadilla which were the only items we actually enjoyed. Our entrees were brought out about 10 minutes after and I asked our server to take the sampler platter away since we didn’t plan on finishing it. I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, and my son ordered the Classic Chicken Broccoli Alfredo (minus the broccoli). My chicken was greasy, but I ate it with my mashed potatoes to mask the greasiness. The onions and mushrooms on top had a pleasant flavor but was too salty for my liking. My sons meal (chicken Alfredo) looked rather bland and he mentioned the breadstick that came with it was hard and definitely not freshly baked. He ate most of his pasta but it was very clumpy and not what you would expect when eating a creamy entree. The thing we enjoyed most was our couple of appetizer samplers, and although I tipped my server 20% it was not an experience that was worth spending over $70 for 2 people. I wish we went the fast food route which would have been way more affordable and enjoyable. Lesson learned!

Rude waitstaff! I honestly can't believe how we were treated at this establishment! We had driven from Michigan to surprise my aunt for her 60th birthday and thought it would be fun to go to Applebee's and have the staff sing to her. First, we all ordered and my aunt, the one who had the birthday, ordered a salad and everyone else put their orders in as well. Thirty minutes later, we all got our orders except my aunt. No salad to be found. I went to ask our waitress, who continued to be rude, (I wish I gotten her name, a younger African American girl) told us she would get it. Another 15 minutes later, I had just started walking to ask again, here comes the salad, we are almost done eating. Then, we asked our waitress if we could have dessert, thinking at least it would be nice if the staff came out with it and sang for her birthday. We had just seen another table have this minutes earlier. ANOTHER 15 minutes pass and I go to the back to ask again about the dessert and singing, ALL the staff are just standing there talking to each other and visibly trying to avoid eye contact with me. I ask our waitress again, she says she is trying to get other staff to come with her. I literally ask several staff members standing around to come with our waitress and they all just stare at me. I go back to my table and another guest of our party goes back five minutes later to ask AGAIN. We finally just leave without the dessert and song, certainly never to return. Their entire staff needs to be fired. I am just stunned.

first of all, our waiter was awful. he made like 15 mistakes, over charged us for multiple items was way just generally careless. the food was not great but like that’s what you get for 2 meals for $25. i don’t remember his name but i was not satisfied.

I have usually had a good expierence but this visit was a Big Disappointment from all aspects. Our waitress took our order brought our food and never saw her again, she never followed up on our table. My caesar side salad was terrible. The lettuce was pale green to light yellow in color, the lettuce was limp and wilted, not fit for service. As for table service, we had to ask another waiter for a couple of napkins as well as drink refills and our check since our waitress never came back during our meal. I ordered the crispy chicken bowl and the bed of rice wasnt cooked. When I asked for a Manager, our waitress finally appeared with our credit card and receipt saying she was trying to have her dinner. I'm sorry we interrupted her dinner. The Manager never came to speak with us. I feel bad that I have to write this review. In the past we have had a more positive experience. I hope they change there business both in quality of food and table service.

Our server was nice, but was very slow. Our salad was served but we had no utensils to eat with. After about ten minutes, we finally got utensils. The meal was good, no complaints, but had to wait for about 20 mins to get our check. Then when she finally got the credit card, she waited on another table to discuss their bill. Finally, for about another 10 mins i had to ask for her to check me out.

We have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant in a very long time. The server was a female lady on Thursday, March 16th, 2023. Time frame was around 6:45 or 7pm. She was the most annoying person we have come across in a while. I think her name was Alpana. She wouldn't stop talking. I mean about random things. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. We just wanted to eat in peace. She kept saying very weird things as well. She seemed very frantic and spastic. She talked a mile a minute and it was just horrible customer service. She didn't give any napkins and the table was covered with food. We had to ask for napkins and refills instead of her just bringing them. We asked her to take the empty drinks and dirty plates away, and instead she said no just put it on this side of the table. Literally there was no space left. We said no water and no lime or lemon and She brought it anyways because she said we needed it. Thought that was extremely rude and disrespectful. When we say we don't want something, don't bring it. It caused more clutter on the table that she didn't help clear. She was super loud and just created a frantic and not calming environment. She just literally would not stop talking. We have never experienced such a weird and uncomfortable interaction before. She is sitting here asking people about their personal lives at the tables. This is not a therapy session. I am just upset because she didn't do what we asked. It also took forever. We asked for the check and instead of getting it, she kept walking around and taking orders. I'm never going to the Applebee's again. The food sucked too. It was not appetizing at all. We asked her to bring the check and she came back 10 minutes later and asked if she should close the check again. I am baffled at her lack of awareness. Please speak with this employee. She needs to calm down, stop talking like a teenage school girl and listen to her customers when they say they don't want something. She went overboard and was very inappropriate for what she wrote on my check as well. I am very uncomfortable. The table behind me- she didn't even bring the correct food to them. I have never seen such incompetence in my life.incompetence in my life.

I would like to say that this experience was the worst with my coworkers, we were excited to try the food, the pictures looked phenomenal online, what a catfish, As we took out the food out the bag, we were piled with a clump of disaster, there were many Instructions ignored and missing items! The fries were the most soggy things I've ever had that I would rather eat a raw shrimp than those fries ever again. MY burger was a big fail, I definitely regret and so do my coworkers ordering from this service, please save yourselves the misery from this.

Our waiter was amazing and very accommodating. However, the overall appearance and environment was filthy. Dirty silverware, floor, tables, bathroom....list goes on. How can anyone a expect to have a decent meal in those conditions? This location is in serious need of some good old fashioned Gordon Ramsy-style guidance and course correction. This place reminded me and solidified my stance on chain restaurants. Just stick to local mom and pop restaurants because they work for your business and want to please.

I am writing this as Im leaving the parking lot to go across the street to guapos. We came in and was sat at 8:33 and we didnt even receive a glance from any waiters. It was not busy, but even then, we were not even given waters for the whole 30 minutes of waiting there. We left at 9 without even a word or concern from any of the staff. can’t even get a couple of drinks at your local applebees anymore. Terrible service but atleast the host was nice. DO NOT WASTE UR TIME, GUAPOS HAS BETTER SERVICE AND FOOD

I came to this location with some friends Sunday night and it was an Unpleasant experience. I had to call attention to one of the waiters and she was sweet to seat us. On the Other hand, I understand the restaurant was understaffed, which makes things slow, but we were Not attended by our waiter after being seated, He just walked passed our table without a word. We were sitting for 15 minutes and nobody came to attend us. Like I said we understood the situation but it was clear to see the waiter attending all other tables but ours. We decided to leave but we wanted to address the issue to the manager and asked the Waiter and HE had to get smart and ask "What for" with an attitude. We had a Reason to be Upset, Horrible Customer service and many groups entering the restaurant were leaving since nobody was attending them. The Manager at this Location had nothing to say but "sorry" he did not even Offer to sit us at another table to be served, So Horrible way to help the issue. Then He mentioned we were not Supposed to be seated in that area? Then Why tell your staff to seat people there, makes No sense?? With all respects, the manager Did not help, very poor customer & Management skills for his team! There are ways to attend a table even when things are hectic, but we were fully ignored by this waiter. The staff needs training in handling a restaurant business for future Visitors, please... I still want to Speak to the General Manager of this Location

DO NOT GO TO THIS APPLEBEES. Absolutely the worst service. We had a question about the price of a plate, and we had called the manager over since we wanted an answer from the supervisor. The manager named Jeff Warden (bald man) came up to our table and was incredibly disrespectful with a nasty tone. As we were trying to have a normal conversation with him, he simply started speed walking away and didn’t even let us finish. He was raising his voice for no reason, and said “ he didn’t care” about what we had to say”. According to the other servers working, he was upset because the restaurant got “ busy” and he couldn’t “ handle “ it. Not to mention that he talks to his own employees like this when he simply in a “ bad mood”. It is not okay to treat employees or customers like this. I have never in my life experienced this type of customer service. I’ve of course had service where they’ve had a bit of an annoyed tone, but I understand that sometimes they may be stressed and Dont realise they’re taking it out on customers. Jeff Warden’s disrespect was completely targeted and directed towards me and my table. This was a birthday celebration turned into the worst customer service I’ve experienced for simply asking a question nicely. I have never in my life had to reach out to corporate or have even written a bad review, but this completely unacceptable. We will not let this slide.

Worst experience Just left this place with a family of 5. It took almost a hour to bring it or food. To make it even worst my wife ordered a burger meal and we waited that long to find out that they never made the food in the back. They tried charging it on the bill but no food for my wife. I ate one bite of my order because it came out call. The waiter had the nerve to ask my wife would she like to take her order that never came out to go. Tired giving this place a chance and but this spot isn't it. Didn't get a sorry for the order mix up a word from the manager or nothing. It was the longest wait and worst experience.

My son and I went here been a while. I was very hungry and went in at 6pm. They didn't come to take our order and didn't even give us basic water... The tables that came later than us had all been served, but I didn't get my food until 8 o'clock.Even they say nothing. Why?? I still don't understand it and will never go there again. Went with my friend for dinner yesterday. Ordered a medium rare Ribeye steak for myself and a full stack of ribs for my friend. But when the order arrived I got the sirloin steak. And the ribs were dry and chewy. Steak wasn’t evenly cooked and it was all over the place. $1 extra shrimp with the steak entree was a joke. Service wasn’t good. Had to request the server multiple times for drink/water refills. I went to many Applebees in my life and was speaking very highly about the restaurant to my friend. But I got embarrassed by this appalling service and standard of this one. Never again.

My mom left her purse there, with a lot of money in it. Around 1.1k. When she came back today, she got the purse back but all the money gone. I can’t believe that is happened in the Apple Bee in Fair Lake shopping center VA. Above is my daughter commented. However, I will write a whole true story about I forgot my walet from last night. In the mean time. I don’t want to write about this bad thing. Today, I have to wait from 10:00am to about 4:00pm with my hope the general manager and store manager to help me found my money back. But I feel they seem don’t care much. I hope the district manager try to involve to help me to retrieve my daughter gift money from her Dad family. Today, before I left Apple Bee around 4pm, I did asked the general manager and store manager to have a metting with all the employees worked from last night. Who is found my purse and accidentally took the money in side. Then just silent to send my money back to my address that I leave there for them. That’s all I really want right now

I recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I added an $8 tip on the receipt, but I later noticed that I was charged $11 instead. While mistakes can happen, the difference between $8 and $11 seems unusual. The service was neither exceptional nor poor—just average—so I tipped accordingly on a $51.18 bill. I believe $8 was a fair amount for the service I received. Regardless of the amount, this experience has left a bad impression, and I hope the restaurant ensures more accurate billing in the future.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Took 30 minutes to be approached by the waiter who was visibly upset that I was there for the Veterans Day free meal. After he took our order, it took 45 minutes before another server asked if we were still waiting and he checked on our food. As it turns out, our original server never input our order and we had just been sitting there for the past hour and some change for no reason. Horrible customer service, I really don’t know how people like that keep jobs.

Worst experience in a restaurant I have ever had. Waited at a table for 45 minutes just to have to ask for a drink. Then proceeded to wait an hour to then have to ask the status of our food. After another 10 minutes of waiting a different server had to come back and tell us the food was never ordered. The bartender was supposed to be serving us but had a terribly unprofessional attitude and seemed angry that we were there. Never going back to this Applebees again.

This Applebee's is the worst I've visited ever. With hundreds of stores available, you should look for another. We were greeted and sat quickly, and the server came in a timely fashion. It was hard to figure out whether the varnish on the table had worn down or if the table was dirty, but everything stuck to it including the menus and napkins I placed down to avoid touching the table. We ordered all you can eat wings. They came out surprisingly fast. As in, you cooked a large batch of them, sat them in a bowl, fried them again to reheat, tossed in sauce and served them. First order of wings was incorrect and the server did not apologize at all. Instead he insisted that we keep that batch, but we sent it back. Less than two minutes later, proof that this is just pre-fried and reheated the correct order appeared. The wings had absorbed so much oil that the sauce did not stick to the wings. The ranch served was water thin and disappointing. We were not asked if we enjoyed the food as the server avoided eye contact. Leaving more than half a plate of food during an all you can eat promotion should possibly be a sign that something is wrong. Spend your money on literally anything else. It will provide you infinite more happiness than this dining experience.

Just visited this restaurant, was seated right away and then just left there. No server came by to take drink orders or anything, pretty much just left there for 20 minutes without one server ever acknowledging us don’t know how much longer it would have been because we left. We thought 20 minutes was more than enough time to wait. About 4 servers were just standing around talking and laughing. I guess if you are expecting any food or drinks you shouldn’t go here. But hey if you just want to sit and be ignored this is your place! Terrible service. None exisiting service.

The waitress was terrible, it took us 45 minutes to get our drink refills. The waitress was rude and said to hurry up and “that’s interesting” when I ordered, and not in a pleasant tone. The stake i asked for medium rare and was tough and not at all pink or red. DO NOT GO HERE unless you’re taking your greatest enemy out to dinner. The manager was lovely but it doesn’t make up for the experience.

We came here last night. The service was great. However, about six hours after arriving home, I began feeling ill. Since approximately 0200, I have been puking and having diarrhea. Sans any other symptoms, and given the time frame, I can only assume the food I ate here is responsible for my current state. If this continues beyond 1400, I will be going to the Emergency Department. Update: Removing four stars for service because of the ridiculously tone deaf response from the owner. "Next visit"? The idea that someone who nearly ended up in the hospital on IV fluids because of a meal would ever go back to the place where that meal was consumed is deluded and insulting. An ED trip is still on the table as while the vomiting has stopped, the diarrhea has not, and I am still experiencing dehydration. Further, due to my current condition, I have been unable to take my prescription medications and am currently at risk for a heart attack. Update 2: At this point I would like to give negative stars, but sadly this is not an option. I received a call, which i regrettably missed, from the location. As instructed, I called back looking to speak to a "Warren". This was not the individual I reached so I was put on hold while thia individual was found. Or I assume that is the case because it has been over 15minutes of silence with no update. Nothing. Not even a "I do apologize this individual is busy at the moment and will be with you in x-amount of time. Are you alright with waiting or would you like to receive a call back?" This is beyond unacceptable customer service. Honestly, it's pathetic. I understand being busy. However, you must inform people appropriately about a possible wait. I am truly disgusted. Update 3: They hung up on me. I am going to look into recourse beyond the location at this point.

I’m glad I didn’t order food! My friends and I came during the $1 margaritas promotion. We went an hour before closing and the restaurant was dead and we still had to wait to be seated. My friends ordered 1 round of margaritas and I noticed there was stuff floating in the margaritas. I managed to pull out a piece and it was hard plastic or a piece of broken plate. I brought to the attention of our waitress and she said the bartender and usually good on catching stuff like that. The waitress put it another round of margaritas and brought the check. We waited 10 mins and she didn’t bring the margaritas. She came to pick up our payment and I said we’ll pay when she brings us our margs. The table near us was also arguing with her for charging for items and never bringing them out. Anyways, horrible horrible.

I went into this store because I had a decade old gift card that I decided to use before it expired. Here are my observations: Decor: Every inch of this place looked old, worn, dusty, dark and outdated. The desk where they do take-out orders was full of junk including sweaters, brooms and dustpans. Food: I decided on something safe, which was the nachos with beef. When I got home and opened the bag, I saw nachos sprinkled with very dry beef crumbles. I scraped off the beef and ate the nachos solo. Staff: They appeared preoccupied and overwhelmed even though there was only like 4 tables in use, and no one in the bar area. This store won't be able to hire better quality workers because of how they maintain their place of business. This place is a dump. I think the employees take on the personality of the environment that they work in. I won't be back to this store, there is absolutely no reason to return.

APPLEBEES HAS CHANGED - I’m so sad Went to this Applebees for years with my husband. It was our first date. Our place for celebration. We recognize the waiters, the food was consistent. Everything was always up to great standards. Then something changed and I’m not sure what. All the original staff is gone, and the constant overturning staff they hire is rude and inconsistent. We waited today for 25 minutes before our waitress even said hello to us. We asked to order our food already and she loudly said “one minute” while walking away as soon as possible. This was after we asked the host in concern about our wait and she simply ignored us. I then asked for medium rare for a hamburger and she stated “no pink, okay” which is not medium rare. Then told me I “obviously” want fries (what do you mean obviously?” She spoke so quickly I didn’t understand most of it. The mushroom Swiss burger and fiesta lime chicken thankfully is still the amazing and satisfying meals we continue to eat. But it’s become so disappointing to come in.

I normally do not provide negative reviews, but I thought I should include this review in light of the poor experience that I had at this particular Applebee's location. On 1/14/24 at 6:00 PM (dinner time), I brought my kids here to watch a football game and enjoy the unlimited Riblets/Tenders/Shrimp promotion. About 10 minutes after we ordered, we were told that they were completely out of Riblets and out of Shrimp. After we modified our orders, it took 30 minutes for my daughter to receive her order, 45 minutes for mine, and 60 minutes (yes... 1 hour) for my son's order. Then, when we received the check, we noticed that we were double charged both for the promotional orders and our modified orders. While the server was very nice and extremely apologetic for the poor experience, it was a horrible experience and not typical of other great experiences that we have enjoyed at Applebee's. Therefore, I would advise people to avoid this specific location.

I will NOT be coming to this place…It took us to 30 mins for our drinks…the bathroom was an Absolute wreck, both stalls were disgusting. Server wasn’t very good. the mixed drinks were adequate. the food was good and the portions were good. I wouldn’t recommend this for a weekend dinner out.

We ordered 12 oz ribeye, fiesta chicken & chicken nachos The food was so bad, we asked for a medium well steak with 2 sides We got a very thin poor well done ribeye & for the sides the rice was so dry the waffle fries was so oily and cold. The fiesta chicken ok but not cooked well. The nachos was so good. The server was so rude we asked for a box to go he got a very small box when we asked him for a bigger one he said we don't have it, while he gave another customer the bigger boxes !!!! Although his manager apologized on his behalf and offered us a 20% discount but we needed to say in deep avoid this place!!!!

The service during our visit was unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, the server was dismissive and rude. He pointed to a table instead of seating us properly and did not return for over 15 minutes after we sat down. When he finally came, he leaned on a wall, avoided eye contact, and took our order in a way that felt disrespectful. We noticed that he interacted much more appropriately with other guests, which made the situation feel especially uncomfortable. Our dessert order was completely forgotten, and we were given the check without being asked. We paid and left without any acknowledgment from the server. This experience left both me and my wife feeling unwelcome. We hope this is addressed, because no guest should be treated this way.

I had lunch at the Applebee’s in Fairfax on Tuesday afternoon, and let me say: this was not just the worst service I’ve ever had at an Applebee’s — it was the worst I’ve ever had at any restaurant, period. And I’m including places that felt like they were operating on dial-up. The place wasn’t even crowded, yet every part of the meal moved at a pace suggesting the staff were testing the limits of human patience. It took too long to be seated, too long for our drink order, too long for our food order, too long to get the food, and then the finale: waiting a full 20 minutes for the check. We asked for the check multiple times, and still nothing. I finally had to stand up and start walking toward the door before the server suddenly appeared with the bill, as if he’d just realized customers can’t pay telepathically. On top of the delays, the attitude from our server was rough. I don’t remember his name, but he was a thin man with light-colored hair. Whatever was going on behind the scenes or personally, it came out in the form of short, dismissive responses and flat-out ignoring us. Anywhere that actually values customer service wouldn’t tolerate that kind of behavior. I often visit the Alexandria Applebee’s, where service is consistently fast and friendly. This Fairfax location? Not even in the same galaxy. We spent over two hours here, most of it just waiting for something—anything—to happen. And when the food finally showed up, it wasn’t even hot. At that point, we just ate so we could get out of there. To management: something is seriously wrong at this location. Customer service needs to become a real priority before more people walk out—and honestly, I nearly did. This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had, and it was completely unacceptable.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The customer service in this place is seriously lacking and the service is horrible. My husband and I dined here on Sunday around 4:30pm.The host a heavyset white guy was rude like rolling his eyes and had a don't give a crap attitude. He was impatient with me because I was walking with a cane and could not walk fast. He told me follow me I'm tired and might pass out. I should have took that as a red flag. We waited and waited for the server. We had to ask 2 servers if someone can please take our order. Our server finally showed up didn't even get his name as he never introduced himself. He was a black guy I'm not sure but I think his name was Javier. Looks like he was really pissed and angry because we needed to place our order. He had a really nasty attitude and I mean really nasty.We ordered and he didn't say anything just took our menu and walked away and never came back with our food or to check on us. Not once did he approach our table. No refill on drinks . NOTHING. At this point I wanted to bring this situation to the attention of the manager. He was an Indian guy. But looking at him he looked like he hated his life as well and looked overwhelmed. We just paid and left our food as even the food was bland.This was the worst dining experience and I mean worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Now I know why so many Applebee's closed down. I would advise people to save yourself the frustration of a horrible dining experience and take your business where it's appreciated.

The atmosphere was terrible when we dined in. They put everyone to one side of the dining area, which meant we sat right next to an elderly group and there was no sort of border in-between us. Our server was good, but the other workers were extremely rude. A host/busgirl that was cleaning that table after they left was loudly complaining about the group that had sat there. The waiter that finished serving the table across from us also complained due to their tip. Customer service aside, the food was as I expected, bad. I ordered the Garlic Parmesan chicken and 🤔. The unnecessary sweet sauce on the chicken in the alfredo overpowered everything else and pretty much became the sauce. Overall.. I will never come back.
