This was the cleanest McDonald's I've ever been to. The service was great and the food was SUPER fresh. I haven't had a cheeseburger from McDonald's that wasn't like a dried out piece of shoe leather in all my adulthood. This one had the perfect amount of everything.

This is the best McDonald's I have ever visited! It is clean, beautifully landscaped, has EV chargers, outdoor patio and a separate bathroom for baby changing. Kudos to the owner for these thoughtful choices. ALL McDonald's should be at this superior level!

Having been an Owner Operator I have years of experience with McD. QSC.. at this restaurant was A+ Fries were fresh and properly salted. Chicken sandwich was fresh and condiments were ample and centered. Chocolate shakes w/cream delicious. Service.. polite .. good eye contact and accurate.

This McDonald's has the godliest fries. It was good even before the renovation and they kept up the good quality. All ordering are through self serving kiosk and one cashier. Although it is weird I didnt see a huge menu board behind the counter, I also would rather not talk to anyone. Food comes out at a decent time. There is never a line. The employees there are also really friendly. There is an old man there that is the really friendly. The restaurant is really clean.

Stopped for some ice cream on my 20+ hr drive to loveland, Colorado, the workers on shift (11:30pm on a Sunday!) were so friendly and energetic! You can tell that they are all friends outside of work too.

Didn't even feel like fast food! The service was top notch, seriously. The lady was kind, cheerful, and patient while my kids stumbled through placing their orders independently. I also saw her checking up on other guests eating their meals, making sure they had everything that they needed, she checked on us too. The food was the best McDonald's I've ever had, the eating area was clean, and the bathrooms were too! I don't leave many reviews, but this experience merited a review.

Just came by at MacDo today, Wednesday, Sep 4, 2019 is the opening day! The drive thru line was fairly long, but moved quickly. I really wanted to see the inside so I parked the car and went inside. It wasn't crowded, the line to the drive thru threw me off, I guess folks just wanted to stay in their vehicles? I was checking out the place, nice and modern, combo of industrial look and mid century? I did look lost and the young lady who worked there said she can take my order at the counter, but I didn't see a menu or anything by her counter for the food selections, this happens to me all the time, I should know the menu by heart, never fails that I forget everything as soon as someone ask me what I want. I told her I wanted to try out the self service area anyway. She pointed out there's one availabe. She was there alongside me and the customers and was so patient and explained the way to order, if it's cash, there's a place to put cash in and take one of the number signs placed by the cash machine. If credit card, there's a card reader, the receipt will have the order #. She said that they are still putting the final touches with the decor and such. It's nice to have you back MacDo. We miss you 😊 Oh yeah, try not to park near where the drive thru starts since the line of cars will block your way out. I think there maybe more parking spots at the other end, where the end part of the drive thru to pick up your food, Or bike, walk, or have a buddy system. Since they just opened, the crowd will be steady.

I haven't been to a Mac Donald's in years. This local restaurant was renovated recently. It has a kiosk for ordering your meal and a walk-up register for ordering if you are not familiar with the app/kiosk. I ordered the Egg Mcmuffin meal that included hash brown potatoes and a beverage. I chose coffee and I was sorry that I did because it was scalding hot---too hot to drink with my entree. If I go again, I'll get fruit juice instead. The fellow at the cash register was courteous and pleasant. The server was friendly and helpful. I dined in, but most ordered takeout.

This is for their drive through only. I never stop in but go through the drive through before getting in the freeway entrance nearby. The service is prompt and never had to wait really long. But then again I'm normally here late so that fits into it. Either way, the menu choices are improving with better coffee drinks so that helps.

I just went during the renovation and I'll have to say it's a pretty cool experience! It's now expected you order from touch screen menus, but you still can order from a person (just with no menu). It's definitely a more "upscale" experience, but it was pretty enjoyable. There were workers waiting around looking to assist you, which I didn't expect, and sometimes was kind of offsetting, but still an enjoyable experience. Food is good

This is a great McDonalds location. They have a big crew, the drive-through service moves fast. The people are friendly, they have a large parking area and nice indoor seating. I rarely have to wait long for a dining in order. Most of all, their food is fresh. I wish they had something like a vegetable dish, I'd go more often. The only reason for 4 stars is the one free burger I got thru the app tasted old. Order 3 chocolate chip cookies, they're awesome!

Just enjoyed a wonderful playdate there with my 4 year old and 2 of his cousins. When we got there we got our orders accurately and super fast. The place is clean and I love the big, enclosed play place. The 4 stars is simply because they forgot an item that I ordered when we were leaving. I went back and they corrected it. Not a biggie, but not fun to go back.

Recently modernized location, architecture has clean lines and large screen displays, outside you have bike racks and EV charging spots. The parking lot may be a little agressive relating to the allocation of clean air vehicle spots. Ordered for curbside pick-up, I think there is only one spot for that, and due to lack of parking for "traditional" vehicle a customer occupied the spot while presumably enjoying their weekend breakfast inside. App ordering went smoothly, a friendly employee ran the breakfast sandwiches outside, still hot and tasty. Overall a good experience.

Fully Rebuilt Summer 2019 🆕 It's McDonald's version of sit-down tableservice fused with a fast food menu. It really improves the experience not having the busy sounds of the kitchen flooding into the dinning area. Late night drive through tends to be very busy at night. I hit the drive-thru and picked up a spicy sausage McMuffin with egg. As with most places with drive-thrus, it is your regular sausage McMuffin with egg, with spicy sauce added. I was hoping for some spicy sausage. I guess that would cause confusion and a higher price. It was good as sausage McMuffins with egg go, and I would probably get another one. But, it's not making me want to go back soon. Enjoy! 😊

I go here often because it's right off the freeway and convenient to get a quick bite while heading out. The burgers are always tasty like they just made them and not just sitting underneath a heat lamp. Fries come out hot though sometimes they can be over salted. The dual lanes for ordering makes things quick seeing how busy this place always is. The app is very useful for ordering ahead and pickup, also the deals are pretty good on it as well. The last visit they did forget two of our fries by the time we realized it we were already on the freeway so what are going do. The most surprising thing thing to get here would be the cookies they're amazing. You can get a tote of cookies which is 13 for 9 dollars. The cookies come out hot and are delicious.

At some point McDonald's reduced their fat content to 20%. Much healthier, though our food came super quickly; the meat did not have time for excess juices to drip off leaving the bottom bun soggy. The meat was very warm and fresh. Extra lettuce seems like a less than normal amount. To be expected from a fast food chain.

Came here for the first time ordered a bunch of food at night through the app with the coupon and it was so cheap. It was really busy at night and they were short staffed but everyone was so friend…

Food is okay. Not a fun place to pick up quick night snacks. Ordered via mobile, so I went inside to pick my food up. The staff told me the lobby is closed and go to drive thru. Went to drive thru, other staff told me to pick up the food inside. Went inside the lobby again, the staff forced me out, repeating what she said. Finally I got the food at drive thru, which missed few items. Somehow they never saw the mobile order & don’t know how to process mobile order.

Staff is non existent. I ordered my food from the kiosk literally saw no one until my food wa s being walked out. An older lady came in right when I finished ordering and was uncomfortable using the kiosk, with no staff in sight I helped her compete her order. Guess I need to be put on the books since I came to eat but ended up working. Stop hiding if your going to open lobby to guest.

I dont usually eat at Macdonalds , but because of the car charger I stopped and bought some breakfast, pretty good and kind workers here. I feel bad about all the plastic waste from the packaging. I would prefer to leave my neighborhood a better place then I found it , but since most plastic is not recyclable it ends up in the ocean and landfills. Staff is friendly and line moves fast but food is always undercooked. Thank god not the meat but the muffins are usually toasted more than this location in Davis. By the time you eat it, the sandwich is soggy and soft. If you indulge in empty calories, and pay more for inflation, you’d like it done the same way other McDonald locations toast their muffins. It seems EVERYTHING is done in a hurry and they are more concerned about moving the line along rather than quality of food. Hash browns as well, soggy, soft and fall apart. No crisp in that bite like you’re used to. Hi was told though I can request “extra toast” for my sandwich. I’ll try that. Just hoping management does something about these soggy sandwiches! PS: staff member told me the roasting machine would burn all the time so they turned it down.

The wifi here is terrible, and hardly ever works. When placing mobile orders they sometimes do not go through. Management is nice and honor the app deals, but sometimes the staff forget to bring your food out when you have a table delivery sign. The unsweetened tea is usually empty in the afternoon, and I have to request it at the counter.

Ordered food and asked for a frozen fruit punch minute maid drink to go with my kids happy meal. When I got up to the window the young lady working there handed me a regular fruit punch. I explained I wanted a frozen one she said rudely, "no this is what you ordered and this is what you paid for." as someone who worked in food service as a young adult for 7 years I don't think telling the customer what they did or didn't order is how it works. To top it off she didn't give me the order of chicken nuggets and fries I ordered so I had to walk in and retrieve them. I will give them some slack as it was busy, but maybe some training on customer service should occur. Food was hot and didn't taste like old deep fryer so I'll give um 3 stars, coulda been 4/5.

Surprisingly the slowest service I have ever received at a McDonald's. After all, most of the stuff is already made. I was trying to understand what it was that took so long to create 2 small hamburgers. The hamburgers were good. Unfortunately because of the tremendously slow speed of service, I suspect I will take my business elsewhere next time.

It’s the only McDonalds in Davis. All the way in East Davis for some reason. Food tastes like McDonald’s. You eat it because it contains calories and don’t care that it was made from concrete (SpongeBob S4 E5 “Selling Out”). Employees are nice and make your order fast. Better to pay a few people to be there and listen to the customers needs ( take there orders ) than force everyone to use the automated system. Horrible experience, there was a huge line because an older couple was having a hard time navigating all of the options. And other couple on the other screen took 5 minutes to figure how to check out, McDonald's just not what it used to be. Food was ok, there was no service it's all automated and it was a bad trip.

I mean, How do you forget a bun and bacon on a burger advertising bacon. Apart from the missing ingredients it was still tasty.

Need to be trained on how to clean. Dirty floors and tables in the dining area, but the bathrooms were not only unclean but never properly cleaned in the first place.

Morning staff will allow you to pick up delivery orders yet every other time of day they say you need to come inside. It's weird and I'd much rather just stay in my car. I'm already getting out and in throughout the day as is.

Meh at best. They constantly get orders wrong and can be really annoyed with questions. Not my favorite place at all. There is a small play structure inside and a video game board. But other eatery's would be more enjoyable.

Didn't get my order right until the third time. The interior looks nice but not for a McDonald's. It needs reds and yellows. It feels gray and blue. Kitchen is no longer in plain view which I personally did not like.

Ever since they remodeled this Mcdonalds, the wait times have skyrocketed. My order seems to just vanish in the shuffle sometimes and the registers are rarely manned; I often find myself waiting 20 + minutes for my food. The food is the same as it ever was, but the wait times definitely aren't worth it. If you have to eat here, use the drive through. You'll hopefully have better luck

Unfortunately several times I have come to the drive-thru (around 1:30) and they have failed to have service. While normally I love McDs, it has caused me to visit other locales late at night after I get at work. Otherwise solid.

Since they gave gone with prison industrial decor and doubled the drive through they make it quite clear that they don't want customers to dine-in (even pre-covID).

I usually look forward to coming to McDonalds to get a nice treat after work. They usually fill the frozen Cokes to the top, and it makes me happy. I was pretty unhappy about my order today, I went to get a Mcflurry on my break. I decided to do curbside pick up since I was in a rush. I was surprised to see that they mix them🥲 and worse part is that when I received it, it was already more than partially melted. I went back to work and poured out half of it, because I wanted ice cream not a milkshake😐 It didn’t help that I paid $6 for mediocre ice cream. Anyways. This just pushed me off the edge. I don’t usually give bad reviews but this was not the service I was hoping for. Won’t be coming back to order it again.

bad service you order your food hot and it comes cold you ask for a decaffeinated coffee and they give you a regular COLD coffee I think that if you pay for a service they have to give you what you ask for I hope they can fix it this is not from now I have time to come to this place and it is always the same

They now use bags for fries instead of box/cartons. Consequently the amount of fries is even less. Also no other McDonalds use the bags.

I hate the kiosks and no cashier concept. Why are the prices higher? With no cashiers the company saves money because they don't have to pay cashiers but does not pass on that savings to the customer when they do the work? The street pole, electrical wires and street sign decor is appropriate....because you might as well sit outside since the food comes from behind what looks like an aluminum siding motif kitchen and adds to the lack of customer service experience... I've gone here for years. They upgraded to state of the art facilities yet my order always manages to be created incorrectly. I ordered an egg mcmuffin, and it came with no ham just the egg. I order no cheese and it says it on the receipt and I get cheese on my orders. I order a mcmuffin and hashbrowns and only get mcmuffin. I turn back, tell them. They then ask for and take my bag with the mcmuffin in it. And then give me a bag with just the hashbrown and forgot to give me my mcmuffin. I always take off the drive thru before checking the order because who does that? I am met with disappointment almost every time. Management doesn't resolve issues or implement changes. I ask them to refund me and they can only do it in person with my card. I'm already 25 miles away, do you think I'll spend $5 on gas to get my refund? Just void the payment. I'm so sick of it I have to drop a 1 star review and trust me it's taken years for me to get to this point.

Ordered 2 coffees and 20 pieces of chicken McNuggets in drive through. Received 10 pieces and coffees, all were cold, asked for fresh hot coffee, rude attitude by the staff. Made us wait and brought back the lukewarm coffee and argued twas only 10 nuggets, showed the bill and he brought back another cold batch of nuggets.

HORRIBLE customer service!! They are trying to force you to use the self serve kiosks, and there was no one at the register to take my order. Finally, when the employee came, I ordered two chocolate dipped cones. Simple order. After what seemed like forever, someone else walks out and tries to hand me two ice cream cones, NOT dipped in chocolate. After telling him I ordered dipped cones, he looks so confused. Finally, a manager comes out and stated they don't make dipped cones! I said I wanted my money back. I wasted so much time in there! Also, their restrooms were totally a mess! There were out of toilet paper, and when told, the employees just shrugged their shoulders and said sorry. Thank goodness a really nice older customer went and got napkins to pass out so we could wipe ourselves!!! That location used those huge giant rolls, and each dispenser holds two big rolls, so there's no excuse to run out!! In the future, we will drive right by that location, and visit somewhere else!!

We were told to move to the second window to wait for our food. The lady never gave us our drinks. Then we asked for ranch, she told us she would have to charge us for ranch and then said she had no way to charge us at the second window. Any nice normal person would have just tossed some ranch in the bag. This lady made us come inside to get our drinks that they forgot to give us and charge us for ranch. Completely ridiculous.

Pick up window servers are clueless in what items or order they give you. I ordered through doordash and they gave my dasher completely wrong items. How hard is it to double check whats going in the bag before taping it up. Please do better.

Went to this McDonald’s on a super busy night after a big event on campus. It was super busy with a really long drivethrough line. We went inside to order, but they told us the whole system was down and we could only order through the app. my friends and I placed three separate orders on the app. But the app wouldn’t let us choose in-store pickup, so we had to go through the drive-thru pickup. In the drivethru, we gave them the first two order codes, but before we could give the third one, the employee told us they only take two orders per car and we’d have to go all the way back around for the third. We tried to explain that we were just trying to pick up a mobile order that was already placed, and that it was late and we were starving. He just said “gimme a second” and disappeared — then randomly came back and greeted us like nothing happened. We had to ask again, and eventually he got the manager. The manager stuck to the “company policy” and said we had to rejoin the line to keep “cars moving” — which makes no sense because making us go around again just added to the line and wait time for everyone. Even when we got to the window, we asked one last time if they could make an exception, since all three orders were already paid for. They still said no. So we wasted time and gas circling the drive-thru again just to get the last part of our food. It honestly felt like the staff didn’t want to help or think through a solution. Completely unnecessary and disappointing.

I ordered a kids meal chz burger in the drive thur,chz and ketchup only and this is what i got a bun with only ketchup where's the meat and chz? When i went back and showed GM Adrianna she was rude she didnt offer to remake the order or do anything to make it right. With a lot of attitude she told me she would give me my $ back, i asked her if she needed my debit card to do the return (i had left it at home) and she raised her voice at me and said only if you want it back on the card, when i informed her i left it at home she rudely with raised voice said well it's cash then. My family and i will not be going back there and i urge everyone else to do the same unless you like messed up orders and rude ppl.

The managers Adriana and Marisela were both very rude the 3 times i was there. Marisela she threw my plate down almost and was answering me and my daughter rudely and rushed our order. Fries was cold by the time it got to me it was warm to the touch but one bite in and it was barely warm inside. Adriana had an attitude with customers and employees. She was rushing so much that she forgot something. Overall bad experience.

Always double check your order to make sure it's accurate before leaving the drive thru. Update: I have not been to MCDs since. I was excited to get some food after Lent was over. This was my first meal after Easter. I was really craving fries and MCDs was my fav. I went through the drive thru and received my order. I went home because I had a second job to go to. I was quickly eating and saw something dark near the bottom of the container. At first quick glance-- I was just thought it was one of those burnt bits. I poured out some more fries to find a large dead fly -- fried to a crisp. I immediately dropped the food and could not stomach it anymore. I couldn't leave because I was working and wrote a complaint to corporate. They wrote back saying that my complaint was sent to the regional manager. Weeks later, I received a generic letter thanking me for my comments. That was it. I know it's hard to control everything, but I felt like this was a serious lack of quality control. I was hoping that they would have improvements to prevent this but who knows. I'm sure they just brushed it off without any true concern.

I don’t know if the sausage egg McMuffins here are supposed to come with ham, but instead of sausage I got ham. I was disappointed because whenever I order my usual McMuffin I get with sausage, however this time, I got ham. With egg. It wasn’t as good.

$5.19 before tax for a Large Fry and they don't even fill up the Fry container anymore. What has the world come to and this was before the Tariffs. And yet they still have not added the Original Chicken Selects. It's no reason these shouldn't be an option they were amazing when they had the correct brand of tenders

I got 4 sausage egg McMuffin and when I started to eat the sandwich the egg was still raw.

Was going through the drive thru after a long day to get some fries. I had to pull in very close to the people in front of me to be able to reach the window. Someone else pulled in very close behind me and I did not have room to turn out of the drive through until the person in front pulled out. The employee at the window starts banging on my tail light aggressively and screaming at me to move because I was holding up the line. I understand they have time limits they try to meet with the drive through, but to smack my car and scream at me when I am unable to move is crazy. I used to stop at this McDonald's a few times a week, but I will find another place to grab a snack.

The edgar who spoke to us tonight was short, rude, and seemed like he hated working there. Is the bar that low in this college town that we just hire anyone to do bare minimum? Getting paid above minimum to do nothing is crazy.

Overnight manager Jen is very disrespectful. We waited 30 mins by the Intercom to order our food and did not want to serve me. I was on a motorized vehicle and told me she can’t serve anyone on a motorized vehicle, when I told her that other places allow it. Poor management. Again her name is Jen.

Good food, every base line employee always give me sauces when asked never charged. Then I go through the drive thru manager chargers me 25¢ per sauce.. I get it. Its the right way. I'm annoyed about the inconsistent team behavior of sauce charges. They have forgotten my sauces when I paid through the app. They have forgotten my ice creams before.

The general manager was so rude to me and my family couldn’t even apologize after a system error they had she showed hostility disdain and had horrible customer service. Fast food workers out there I know it’s fast food you see a lot of people things get hectic but the least you can do is be kind 😔

Food is normal. What really peeved me is that they shorted our group one sandwich, and then called us liars when we told them about their error. The thing is, I would have been significantly less mad if they just said they weren't going to fix it from the get go. Instead, the cashier made it seem like they were going to correct the order and we ended up waiting there an extra 10-15min and when I asked about the one sandwich the manager came out and was like "I filled it myself. There was three" and that was the end of it. So on top of getting shorted a sandwich, McDonald's stealing like four bucks from me, then calling me liar - they also just had us sit there for no reason. I'm tired and irritated at the time of this review. We're traveling across California and stopped here cause we wanted something easy. End of the day, things happen. Whatever. Just a word of caution for future customers - check your bag/order BEFORE you leave the counter.
