Opinions de Pachamama Coffee Davis
A very cute place. I came here during the fall so they had their seasonal menu... I tried their honey-bear latte and all I can say is: it's addictive! That's why I had to stop by once again to have it :) The workers are friendly and the space is suitable for reading, doing some work, etc. GET THE HONEY-BEAR LATTE! You will not be disappointed.
Nice place, good coffee. We order to take away but the coffee shop look very nice an quiet to stay there. Friendly staff and quick attention, a couple of people were before us in line but we didn’t wait too much. Good location next to other restaurants and a wide variety of services and shops.
Pachamama has amazing coffee but since I already had two coffees in for the day, I got a matcha latte. The matcha tastes very high quality and milk is frothed perfectly too. It’s deliciously earthy and creamy. Service is friendly and fast. The place is not huge but feels very open. The vibes are chill. A great spot to grab a drink or sit down and work~
Great smooth coffee! I had the latte with oat milk and an americano. Came here early in the morning. Absolutely lovely to hangout in the morning before the crowd comes. The barista was super friendly and sweet. Wonderful way to start the morning!
Cutest little coffee shop! Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Location is beautiful, but most importantly, the coffee is delicious! Definitely recommend a visit to Pachamama !
Nostalgic and cathartic! Those words sound extreme for a humble coffee shop like Pachamama Davis but I'm not kidding. I used to go to the original Pachamama Davis during my undergrad years when it was sharing the building with the art gallery. I was introduced to great coffee there and studied there all the time. When Pachamama decided not to renew the lease at the art gallery, I was quite devastated. Though Temple Coffee on G street was established at the time, I thought the coffee at Pachamama to be superior. I graduated, moved a couple times, and years later I saw on the Pachamama Instagram page that they will be coming back to Davis! To come back here after all this time was quite meaningful to me. I got a Guatemala pour over (like the good ol' days) and it really DID NOT DISAPPOINT. All the memories of my undergrad years flooded back. Their pour overs (I'm not much of an espresso guy) is probably some of the best pour overs I've ever had. And their bean quality is seriously top-notch. I cannot recommend this place enough for their quality of coffee! The interior is quite, as you can see from the pictures, and has some decent seating to study or read. Wish I could have stayed here longer but nevertheless loved the experience!

Best quality coffee in Davis at a reasonable price. It's a smaller, bright and open shop with a counter with chairs along the side so this is not the place students come to study. I got a togo cortado and the batista offered me sparkling water. Don't get that too often. Sweet, rich, warm. I think Temple or Mishka have better coffee ship vibes, but this I'd my favorite cup.

The matcha and coffee are both really smooth and delicious, my favorite in Davis :) I recommend oat milk for lattes. Their seasonal drinks are always so flavorful yet perfectly balanced and never too sweet! It is a little expensive but nothing unusual for a specialty coffee shop. I think it is worth the price, because you can taste the high quality and organic ingredients. I recommend this place!
Cozy, nicely decorated shop with great lattes. Love that they know their farmers. The barista was reserved but working hard and patiently answered 1,000 questions from a very curious customer. There is only one price, but there are at least two sizes, so that is a bit odd.
the staff here was incredibly nice and friendly and the atmosphere was overall amazing. i also had one of the best pumpkin lattes i’ve ever had!! (get a pumpkin latte with maple, it’s insane)
Had a salted dulce de leche latte today. It was delicious, delicate, and the right amount of sweet, with a lovely design on top. Thank you!
I've been searching for a place for my matchas and coffees, and I think I found my new regular. Literally the best matcha I've ever had in my life. Their Madeline matcha is also delicious. Service was quick, and the place was cute and nice. Only complaint is the building is a little small, so I can't stay there for extended periods of time which is a bummer (doesnt stop others Ive seen in store.) Otherwise amazing place absolutely love!!
Lovely little place with delicious coffee and great service with an actual conversation! I enjoyed a cappuccino is a pretty blue cup and saucer and place has music playing but you can still do work or converse. Outside they small cafe tables with chairs which will be nice as it warms up.
I love stopping by Pachamama before class. The staff is really friendly and is really good at following my food restrictions. I like how they talk to you and the conversation seems really genuine. Also I feel like all of their drinks are pretty high quality. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I feel like the matcha and chai's are super good. I really like their seasonal menu options too. Overall, 10/10.

The establishment is really nice and the prices are actually pretty reasonable considering they include oatmilk by default. That being said, the espresso isn't very flavorful. Still highly recommended.

Good coffee for Davis. Kind of hit or miss depending on the barista but I'd go here over any other cafe
Drinks were good, and staff was friendly. For those that like to take pictures to post on Google maps or yelp or any other platform be aware that, per one of the staff members, you may not take any photos of any of their employees and post anywhere without getting written permission from corporate.

The coffee here was lowkey awful and pretty expensive. I got their seasonal pumpkin and cardamom latte, and let’s just say the pumpkin was no where to be found. This also happened with my friend who ordered their lavender matcha, she had to ask the worker if there was any lavender in it because there was no taste of it. Disappointed because I spent around $8 for this, and it was only 12oz. Was unfortunate because the workers were really nice!

6/20/25 experience with me and my family around noon. Here is our review; Me and my wife got a coffee each. We were not greeted by the staff. However, the staff did greet a regular upon arrival. We stated this was our first time, but there was no guidance on how the business works or any recommendations. The staff was not friendly or able to provide guidance on how to order. We ordered two coffee drinks. We asked for a lavender matcha, iced and a honey bear cold brew. Both drinks were in small paper cups, not sure if this is the policy, as plastic is an option and they seem bigger. The honey bear cold brew had honey on the bottom and was not sweet. When we asked to ice the drinks, the lady seemed annoyed and rolled her eyes at my wife. The staff was conversing amongst themselves about their own business. We love supporting local businesses that provide values to indigenous communities and farms. However, I am sad to say that the experience with staff fell way short, especially for two coffee priced for 18.00 plus WITH TIP (we tip no matter what on service). Based on our experiences today, I cannot recommend this business to friends or family.

They have a stand at the Davis Farmers Market. The coffee was okay, but a bit too pricey for what it’s worth. Unfortunately, the cashier was rude to us for no apparent reason, which made the experience disappointing.
I got the hot chocolate and it was worse than the powder version. Definitely not worth the 6 dollars. Also I have no idea how people are able to sit and study because there are so many tiny flies everywhere?? I ended up throwing my drink away because I was scared a fly was in it :/ The people working were very nice though! I could’ve just chosen the wrong drink or something
The local farmer's coffee is actually good, but certain receptionists can be somewhat obtuse (even rude) at times. I was visiting with my family, and they did not even give us samples when we're trying to buy multiple items including the coffee beans packets. The team earlier used to be good, but now the place has deteriorated in service (in the past couple of months; I haven't been there before that).
