Popped in for lunch with our doggo , relaxed atmosphere and great food for great prices. Recommend the seafood linguine which was brilliantly priced and portions were very fulfilling. Top marks to harry for the service and the kitchen for the food

We had a delicious meal here with very attentive service. I couldn’t decide between 2 desserts so they made me a special combo dessert! Would definitely recommend.

We only spent a night in Deal as a short break from busy life in London . I found this gorgeous place nosing on Google maps looking for an interesting dinner location. The booking was easy also I'm not too keen on putting in your card details to secure a table. But that aside,it was a fantastic experience, staff were fabulous and the food very tasty. I had the scallops starter and pork belly entree , my friend had mushroom soup and the risotto with magic egg :) If we're ever in Kent again ,will definitely be going back ! Thank you ❤️

This is a great place to come to in Deal. We have been 3 times in 5 days and it is very good indeed. The staff are very friendly and professional. When I mentioned I love Halibut but usually find it sold out. They specially kept some for our next visit on Sunday. It was fantastic as was all our food there.

My first visit, but won't be my last. Had the roast pork, which was very tender and flavoursome. Lots of roast pots and veg, with superb colly cheese. Along with a few beers, and a great live singer, made for a memorable evening out with family. All the staff gave exceptional service, but an extra thank you to Daryl the chef for the food.

This is my favourite restaurant in Deal, and I will definitely be visiting again in the future. 👌 The service was great and friendly with a steady pace to allow you to enjoy your meals without being disturbed, and also helpful picking from the menu if uncertain about the options. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed, and sets a warm and fancy tone for those romantic evenings out. The facilities are also very clean and pleasant, which helps. The food was delicious and did not take long to reach the table, and the menu described the dishes very well while also listing the ingredients used. This will be a great help for anyone uncertain or with allergies. Along with the table service, the restaurant holds entertainment to accompany our eveningInOn the evening I experienced, they had a musician performing for us which played a nice variety of songs live, some including Irish music which was an added bonus for me. Overall, if you are looking for the perfect restaurant for the perfect date or night out, The Court Yard Bar and Restaurant is the place to go!

Update from a regular diner but not a local that happily travels for this delicious food. Personally I'd say this is the best restaurant in deal! Forgot the 2 along the sea front that get so much praise! This is definitely one of my preferred top restaurants to dine in. I've been here twice for Christmas day meals which was excellent and regularly visit from London. I love the option of a live vocalist entertainer on a Sunday evenings. Staff polite, attentive and professional. Both the owner and management (Del) are a delightful presents in the restaurant.

Outstanding Father’s Day Experience We booked a table for Father’s Day and had an exceptional time from start to finish. Despite both being vegan and the day having a set menu (that had no vegan option for starter), the staff went out of their way to suggest delicious alternatives that catered to our requirements for the starter and made sure we were well taken care of. The service was warm and attentive throughout. While the food was on the pricier side, it was absolutely worth it—beautifully presented and full of flavour. The relaxed atmosphere offered an enhanced version of the usual feel of Deal, making the whole experience special. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic place… fantastic drinks, amazing food and great service … everything thing we ordered was 5 star and the lamb and gravy was excellent and if my husband would have allowed it,I would have licked the plate… dog friendly too which is an absolute bonus!!

Ate there last night. Just perfect. Food spot on and high quality and great presentation. Service excellent and friendly. Atmosphere lovely with a guy playing guitar and singing. Food and Drinks great value. I didn't go for the cheapest wine, because for a change all the wines were affordable. The card machines need to be able to add a tip, or you should add 10% optional tip to the bill, because i think your staff will be missing out on tips.

Visited this establishment for my wife's birthday. We didn't have a starter but the chef complimented us with a taste of his tomato and goats cheese soup, for mains, both the pork, and lamb dishes are highly recommended.

We had an 18th birthday party here tonight 20th September with 31 people. Staff were absolutely amazing., Very accommodating Food was so good, 5⭐️ I don’t know how they managed it all but they did it Thank you all so much

Great Sunday roast! We arrived a little earlier than our booking, but despite this, we were made to feel welcome and seated without issue. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food arrived quickly. The food is delicious, packed with flavour, and the assorted vegetables with the roast were also delicious. I'd definitely recommend this place.

A very relaxing lunch with my cousin at The Courtyard. We loved the 'industrial chic' style of the place, which is really conveniently located for the High Street and the seafront. The staff were welcoming and courteous and efficient - I couldn't ask for more! The food was very good indeed; a range of dishes with many vegetarian and non meat options. Add to this a well-chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, and it was a great afternoon!

Went today for lunch. First time would definitely go again when in Deal. Would highly recommend. We had 6 dishes from tapas menu for price of 5. Everything was very tasty.

Perfect for lunch. Warm sunny day, retractable roof was open and it was a lovely ambience in the dining area. Food was very tasty. I had a wrap and I couldn't believe the abundance of chicken in it. They certainly weren't tight with the filling. Had a lovely hour or so in there. Staff were attentive without being pestering, which I think is important. Very enjoyable.

For a Sunday night, the restaurant was jumping. The food was outstanding and plentiful. The wait staff; PERFECTION!

Went here after a great day golfing, staff where warm and welcoming, I had the hake very fresh and a great balance of flavours to go with the atmosphere.

Lovely place. We went for a Sunday roast and really enjoyed the food, including the complimentary bit of mushrooms soup- delicious. We were given a recommendation to try the pork and it was fabulous. Lamb was also nice but is pulled lamb rather than the piece of meat. Vegetables were varied and tasty but roast potatoes were dry. Desserts were great, in particular the cheesecake with butterscotch sauce. Friendly service.

Thursday evening, abit noisy due to large tables, Christmas parties, but staff were attentive to all tables, even gave us a 10min warning when our time was nearly up for our booking. Food was nice, big portions for the Christmas dinner. They didn't ask who the allergy people were on our table, even though we did a pre-order for 9 people and 2 people had noted allergies on the paperwork.

Great place with good food and atmosphere. We went very early ....5ish...and it was very noisy, with clattering cutlery as it was put away. No effort to think eaters may like to enjoy a meal without loud background noise from staff. However, we'd visit again and hope for a better dining experience. Best of all...dog friendly

We've eaten at the Court Yard several times and have always left satisfied. The food is very reliable, without being sensational. The service was however exceptional on this visit. One of our group is in a wheelchair and although it's a little tight, it is certainly manageable. It's not cheap without being outrageous.

Loved the decor and atmosphere in this courtyard setting. We ordered the burgers here which were very tasty and enjoyable. Expensive Irish coffees, not warm enough, not sugared and couldn't taste alcohol let our experience here down. Probably would give it another go though.

We came here for a special occasion after having a nice experience with a Christmas meal lat year. Overall we left disappointed this time. Service, drinks and starters were good. Presentation of the mains was nice but the high hopes based on this did no come true. Part of venison dish was very dry and the duck skin was inedible (fatty and chewy). With a £30 price tag for the mains we had hoped for something really special but no, this time it was not worth the large amount of money spent overall. Next time back to 81 beach street or elsewhere.

We went here for the Sunday Roast, it was good. A good sized plate with nice sides and a good gravy. The pork belly and lamb shoulder were well cooked. Our only issue was they had a live singer and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak. She was also not very good, so it was pretty annoying.

Gorgeous restaurant great environment the food was just a big let down. Paid £20 for a cheap quality frozen burger with a shittyy bun and one piece of gerkin and bacon and was just full of shredded lettuce. The chips tasted fishy and my friend ordered fish and chips and the peas smelt like dog food and manure. Not happy at all not worth the price.

We had a roast dinner here it was ok nothing special potatoes were dry and tastless and Yorkshire pudding bland gravy not made with meat juices or vegetable stocks not much room at bar area or seating to eat. The sweet dessert i had Banana cheesecake lacked flavour but the waffles were nice.
