I wish I had taken pictures of the food. So good. I had huitlacoche quesadillas and chile rellenos taco. Mexican farmers cheese and deep flavors make this a favorite in East Harlem.

Omg the best birra and consommé by far. The birra is loaded with beef not like other places and the consommé is so hearty full of meat carrot and potatoes it’s a meal itself.

I came here as part of a large work group so we were in the space by ourselves. I was honestly not very impressed by the food, there were large trays of shrimp and vegetarian pasta, beef, chicken, rice, beans and salad. Both pasta options were pretty bland, the beef was chewy. The chicken was the best tasting meat option. In spite of the food not being great, I'm giving this place 4 stars because of how great the service was and the wonderful experience we had with Paloma the mariachi singer. She has an amazing voice and sang to us the whole time we were there. There was also a host that kept everyone engaged by telling jokes, and encouraging everyone to dance and sing. Everyone had a great time!

As a harlem native I have visit the authentic restaurant in like forever lol , even before the pandemic. Today again I tried their "Barbacoa" plate which comes accompanied with a side of hot and soft pack of tortillas, jalapeños, unions, yellow rice and red beans. Simply one of the best mexican spots in Harlem! The food is always hot The music is always on and the drinks can make you kiss somebody your afraid of kissing lol FYI: Barbacoa stands for Mutton,Goat or Lamb cooked on open fire or in a pit! Not in a sauce but sprinkle some lemon on it just like you would with a piece of pork Chicharron and forget it my friend heaven will be there lmao.

Food was great! Their chicken tostadas were very well seasoned. I also had the sausage burrito and happy hour drinks. Their tamarindo Frozen margarita was everything.

Generous serving size, pretty authentic tasting. Needed more meat in my pozole but overall not bad, worth a visit if you're in the area and craving Mexican food.

One star off the bat because no guac and chips are offered. Most places that I’ve been to have that as an option on the house. However, the food is good and so are the drinks. It’s also really inexpensive. So I guess maybe that’s why.

A four because yes, the food is great. The service is great. However, you would spare of the bat that Mexican restaurants could give you as like a welcome chips with no charge. But this restaurant doesn’t and charges you $9.50 almost ten dollars for some chips with some guacamole. And the prices for the rest of the things, if the chips are overpriced, then just imagine the piece for the rest of the stuff. If the restaurant were in midtown Manhattan, okay maybe understandable. But here, it just seemed that the pieces were just too much unreasonable. I don’t know if I would return here. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

FAM! I ordered esquites from this establishment and let me tell you…it had to go straight in the trash. I got a cup of milky, greasy soup with a couple kernels of corn floating at the bottom and some chunks of cheese instead of the cup of seasoned corn I thought I was going to get. Oh my lord I was so disappointed. I couldn’t even choke it down. I called the establishment and I spoke with the nicest lady ever and if not for her, this would be absolutely 0 stars! Customer service is everything to me so it is what it is; I ate the cost of ordering dinner for my trash can and now I gotta figure out something else to eat. You can’t walk one block down and get a cup of corn and then come here and get this… Apparently this is a Mexican staple and I appreciate that authenticity but…I hope everybody else don’t get surprised by what they’re getting. Edit: I found part of a plastic ring in my Mangonada. Yeah, even customer service can’t fix that. What was going on in that kitchen???
