This place just gets better and better every time I go. Everything I've tried is so flavorful and authentic. All their tacos, breakfast burritos, gorditas, corn in a cup, best barbacoa and tinga tacos, AND their salsas are all so delicious and have a good kick. My mouth is watering just thinking about their food again 💜 Whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or late dinner, I always recommend this place to my family and friends!! En serio, se los recomiendo! Love the food here it's so good! And they make fresh when you order instead of just having it ready and sitting under a heating lamp/ plate all day which I love! Very nice and friendly! Excellent customer service! I actually work in the store where the restaurant is so I've been in the kitchen before and they keep everything so clean, organized, labeled & they keep the vegetables & toppings covered! They are always wearing masks, gloves & aprons. And when it's time to close they store everything properly and leave the kitchen looking absolutely spotless! I think that's the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen for fast food.

Taste awesome and is inexpensive. There red sauce is amazing. I think they use Arbol Chiles to make it which I don't find in a lot of Mexican restaurants.

I used to love this place and would still definitely say there are good things on the menu such as the tortas and burritos. However it seems they have started serving Tyson frozen wings. I used to swear they had the best wings in Denton and better than anywhere i had tried in other cities. When i saw the bag today. I just kind of said to myself wow this whole time they were just Tyson buffalo wings with some extra sauce drizzled on top? That was not the case. When i got home i could definitely tell the difference. I could tell the sauce they added and the sauce from the Tyson wings just did mesh quite right. I could also tell the wings were way bigger than any i have gotten here before which on its own is a good thing but is definitely a sign that something changed. The changed them back and are great

First time here. Spotted on uber eats and decided to visit instead. The grande lunch burrito was yummy and huge, the service was quick, and the eating area was clean. The salsas tasted great, the habanero one is pretty spicy.

3 Aguilas Taqueria is without a doubt the best place for Authentic Mexican food in the city of Denton. My fiancé and I recently decided to give this place a try after driving past it countless times, and we were completely blown away by the customer service, speed, and quality of the food we were given. We are lucky enough to be right down the road from this place, and they will absolutely be getting our business in the future.

This is our go to for delicious tacos in town. There's some great places to choose from, but as far as value, taste and portions, they've got several places beat. We order from here 1 or 2 times a month for the whole family -- the taco pack feeds the four of us easily with allllll the fixins and sides, plus leftovers the next day. Last week I was in a bind and had to bring in some food for a work party. At the last minute, 3 Aguilas whipped up a dozen tamales for us! Absolutely delicious every time. Highly recommend the tacos, flautas, burritos, tamales -- all of it is super tasty! Keep doing amazing things and we will keep coming back 3 Aguilas!

Its some of the best mexican food ive ever had (besides my moms) located inside a gas station but don't let the location scare you. Its great and reasonably priced

Absolutely love their food. It's not TexMex, it's whole hearted Mexican food and I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for really good Mexican food to eat here in Denton. The staff are also really great people who put their heart in the food they serve. <3

Quite good pork tacos, a little spicy and the tortillas were light, but the guacamole was a little watery.

Great little authentic Mexican restaurant in the back of a convenience store, a little odd and to be honest I almost didn't try it because of that but I am so glad I did. They have homemade tortillas, and everything we got was good & fresh. Great menudo I just wish they would add hominy to it. We got a burrito to share because a large is really huge and more than enough for two people. I will stop by if in the area again. The ladies were very attentive and kind as well, don't skip out on this place. 👍

Ive never been inside, however, i can only assume that the service and atmosphere is great considering the fact that every dish ive eaten is immaculate. Not really one to write food reviews, but this establishment deserves all the stars. The menue size is heavenly with every kind of food you can think of and each dish is spiced to perfection. I only regret adding a whole package of lemon juice to my corn, and that was all my doing. It makes my day everytime i get my order!

I was shocked at the quality and taste of my breakfast burritos. I had a potato, egg, and cheese as well the the loco burrito with asada and it was better than restaurant quality. There was nothing fast food about it aside from how fast they cranked out my fresh burritos. I can't wait to have to go back to campus.

So I came here to Denton to attend UNT mid 2021. Since I’ve quartered at this institution, this restaurant has met all of the needs of my palette. Their menu consists of the most exquisite and well crafted food I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. I frequent this establishment due to its reliability and delicious food. My favorite dish is their wonderful Taco plate. The corn tortillas are smooth and compliment chewy texture of the asada perfectly. The onion and cilantro give a fresh add a fresh taste and the lime add a sour tang. They have 4 different sauces that are all delicious and are served at 4 different levels of spice, perfect for all levels of heat tolerance to enjoy. They know me by may name and never sway from a cheerful and friendly persona. Hopefully, the last thing that enters my mouth as I leave this world and am invited to the pantheon of heaven is the taste of their ever so precious tacos and it’s bursting umami. If anything I said doesn’t prove that your first taste of their food will make the flowers of spring bloom and the fruits of summer ripe, the fact I’m writing a doctorates dissertation to describe my experience here should suffice and force you to visit. I am looking forward to 2-3 more years within Denton, and I will continue to be a loyal customer of this small but outstanding Mexican eatery.

DELICIOUS! I have lived down the street from here for like 2 years and just now discovered this gem. Their breakfast burritos are amazing. My favorite is the Buritto a la Mexicana 🤤🤤🤤 One thing to be aware of is that their signage says they open at 9 on the weekend but when I went today they didn't open until 930. Not a big deal for me but if you were in a hurry that might mess you up. Definitely highly recommend!

This was my go-to restaurant during my time at UNT! Love the food and the couple running the restaurant, they are so sweet! MY order was always a quesadilla and a caramel churro. The churro always gave me comfort during the stressful exam periods. So thankful for y'all!!

Actually there was a difference in week day staffing and weekend and I prefer the week day. It was put together better

Great little spot for some quick Mexican cooking. I recommend just ordering tamales and burritos though otherwise you will find the dishes subpar. They pre-cook the proteins a day before (and that’s if they don’t hold it for longer; I worked restaurants that did the same thing but the quality of the meat was not this abhorrent.) then hold it till the next day.

Cheese enchiladas and red sauce were ok. Cheese smelled a bit off like it was going bad. But maybe it was the cheese blend. Chicken tamale was bland. Definitely need a sauce. Nice large size though. Tandoori taco had good flavor but chicken was on dry side. I was thinking a cream sauce would be good. Cashier was very friendly and careful taking order. Atmosphere was a gas station/conveince store. It does the trick. I can see for a lot of UNT students who don't have a car, this would be a nice score to walk to.

My daughter had the enchiladas and I had a taco plate. We had to add salt to the beans as they were very bland to us. My daughter liked but not loved the enchiladas. We got one of each of the salsas to taste and found them to be quite good - maybe the highlight of the meal. The habanero brought the heat - just as it should and the guacamole salsa was well made and tasty. However my taco meats were all pretty dry - maybe had been sitting a while. Had to hit them with a lot of extra lime so they would slide down. Overall, a mediocre Taqueria for me. Would eat in a pinch but personally wouldn’t put it in the top 3 of Denton.

I’m not one to do this but I just had to. The first time I had food from here I ordered the taco plate. It was so delicious! But it went down hill from there on. Second time I definitely did not get the same quality as the first time. There was way too much onions and cilantro and barely any meat. It sounded like I was biting into an apple with each bite. This is my third time and I think I Gave it another chance because there is a part of me that hopes for the the quality of tacos I had the first time. But this time was even worse then the second time. I almost threw up trying to eat one taco. The amount of onions and cilantro was appalling. And I actually do like onions on my tacos but this, was just too much. The meat was not seasoned AT All. It was so bad that I decided instead of wasting my money I’ll try to take out the onions and cilantro and recook the meat to add some seasoning to it. Not sure if it’s the same person that’s cooking from my first time but please whoever is cooking PLEASE for goodness sake reduce the onions and cilantro for the for goodness sake! I know onions and cilantro is extremely cheap compared to meat but I’d rather not have my taco filled up with cilantro and onions. DoorDash and delivery fee is too expensive for this disappointment

I ordered guacamole with my 3 gorditas on 12/17/2024, but I didn’t receive it. When I called the store, I was told it was listed as a salsa recipient, but that’s not what is in the menu and what I ordered.
