Opinions de Vino Volo Dfw Airport
What a respite during a long day of flights! The sommelier offered excellent recommendations, leading me to choose a Fall Flight that was quite refreshing. The menu is small but there were several things that looked good. I opted for the fig and prosciutto pizetta. I greatly appreciated that it came out in about 5 minutes, hot and delicious. It went perfectly with my wines. The attentive server brought out my check as soon as I was done. I would absolutely seek out one of these restaurants in this or another airport.
This is by far the best place to eat and drink at DFW airport. I was stuck at the airport for nearly 24 hours and this restaurant helped relax the situation. Worth every penny. Delicious and fresh which is not common for airport food.
What a surprising oasis in a busy airport! So thankful we had time for a flight and pizza and then a discount to take a bottle with us! Will watch other airports for a Vino Volo!
Let’s face it, if you appreciate wine and walk passed this elegant wine bar, it’s imposible to not double-check your upcoming flight boarding time to see if you can squeeze in a tasting… or two! Beautifully crafted wine menu, even some harder to find wines like the upcoming South African wines (Cinsault in today’s case) or an Australian Prosecco (Alpha Box & Dice) with the tinniest bubbles. Flights to try all 3 in a category will leave you feeling like you travelled the world. I am so glad they are back open after the pandemic dry spell.
Great spot to enjoy good wine & a light meal in Terminal A at DFW. The friendly staff provided very good service. The service was fast.
As a Latina professional that travels more than four times a month, I have to say that this place is my favorite at DFW-Terminal A. It has everything you need for a relaxed and cozy wait/layover. Wine selection is outstanding, service is A-1, and the music is just perfect, a mix of latin, jazzy, bossa nova ambience. A must go! All servers are so nice: Nidia, Billy and Emmett, who is my favorite! He’s a definitely sommelier because he knows everything about the wines they offer. Even if your gate is not in Terminal A you must go. Promise.
Very friendly staff with a good selection of wine and food. Great quiet layover spot!
I don’t usually leave reviews of places at airports, but this place as worth the exception. I was able to forget I was at the airport and have nice conversations. Emmett was fantastic and recommended some great wines, I actually bought a bottle to go as well. Next time I come through I’ll stop in for a glass.

Staff was great, wine was good. Hung out and read for a while. If you're looking to just chill for a bit, and have some wine, great place. I like that you can also try a number of wines with their flights.
This is my absolute favorite airport past time. Wines are amazing. Food is good and if you don't like any of the great food on their menu they let you bring something from another restaurant. I would definitely recommend Vino Volo whenever you have a long (or short enough) layover. I try to get to them whenever I can wherever I am!
For an airport vendor, I didn’t really set any expectations. 5 stars! The gals serving between 4 and 6 pm on May 6 were great! The dessert was a wonderful surprise - absolutely delicious tuxedo cake!!?

I had one of the worst travel experiences as far as service from an airline goes. I kept getting delayed for several hours. Taylor kept checking on me, kept my glass full and laughed with me. I was there so long, I had lunch and dinner. I truly hat Dallas but I'd come back for her! Thanks for keeping me from crying!!

Nice upscale setting (for an airport) but the wine was hit and miss. Do a flight to help you. The Paso Robles red was not to our liking. The they did have a beer option but you have to ask for it, as it’s not on the menu! VictorB
It's a small wine bar in Dallas airport that's good for killing time during a long layover, and also exposing yourself to new wines. There are many different wine flights to choose from and each have tasting notes to go along with them. They also offer a small food menu to accompany your wine tasting.

It is great to have a nice wine bar like Vino Volo in the airport, especially when you encounter the ever so common flight delays. The wine list is always great and always changing, so you get the opportunity to try new things with each visit. The staff are always personable and knowledgeable. I wish there were more of these across the country!!!!
If you find your self with some extra time between flights and want to get away from a crowded terminal, AND are ok spending a bit more money than usual, go here for a snack. Food was great, service as well. It was a bit cramped and pricy but that’s pretty much what you get an any airport these days. Enjoy! 🤙🏻😉
The staff is friendly and courteous. It's a great little spot to sit and drink some wine while you wait for your flight. I recommend the sparkling wine flight which is served perfectly chilled and gives you 3 different options.

I had the chicken sandwich. What a waste! The wine was good. The service was ok.

The charcuterie board was nice, but VERY thin on cheese (especially for the price tag). The wine flights were good - broad variety, reasonable price (considering it was at the airport), flavorful and presented well, with a brief description, boldness rating and winery/vintage details. If you have some time, the wine is worth it, but skip the charcuterie board. Service was good.

I walked into this place at 8:42pm. I was told by the two women working I maybe had time for 1 glass of wine. They brought out my 3 glass red wine taster and informed me I had 7 minutes to drink these and leave. I was treated like a total loser buying $36 worth of wine. They acted like they were doing me the favor of a lifetime by allowing me to buy there wine.

Walked in to have a glass of wine at 8:41pm prior to flight and they close at 9:30pm and Emit immediately said prior to me even seating myself that he could NOT serve me a glass because they were closing down. They had 6 customers in the store drinking wine and I even said I would be quick and he refused. I wonder if my experience would have been different if I wasn’t an African American women. Horrible experience. This was about 50 minutes prior to them closing.
