This is a great spot to have dinner. The Pat’s steak is great and very affordable. Servers were exceptional, and food came out at a reasonable time. An overall five out of five experience.

The ribeye steak was like butter, so soft and cooked to perfection! Server was really knowledgable, helpful and considerate. The restaurant was very busy and our server gave us the option to have the side salads before the rest of the mains arrive. This was greatly appreciated as we were starving. The bread and honey butter was really good as well! Overall a great dining experience!

Our family always enjoys eating at Saltgrass, but this visit was extra special as we celebrated a family birthday. The staff—and especially our server—were absolutely awesome! Friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our meal. They even set us up in a private dining area, which made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. Great food, excellent service, and a perfect atmosphere for a family celebration. Highly recommend!

This was a great evening out. The hubby and I don't go out too often, but this was really a great experience. I always love having dinner at Saltgrass and today was not the exaption! I tried something new and I loved it. Today u tried a new plate which is steak and shrimp and I loved it… the shrimp was a little bit sweet with garlic I don’t know but all was good!!!!! Thank you Saltgrass

Visited twice in 2 weeks. Excellent food, service, atmosphere, selection and value. It's a chain but doesn't feel like a chain at all. Gr3at quality and portions. Cajun one in ribeye is excellent but the garlic shrimp on top is wow!! Highly recommended any of their locations. I tried 2 different places and both were excellent.

We had dinner at this Salt Grass in Grapevine and our Server Jasmine gave outstanding Custoner Service! She definitely knew the ins and out of the menu. She went above and beyond for the friend we we were with who has dietary restrictions. The manager Brandy was also kind and welcoming. Great experience!!! Thank you two and the rest of the staff for such a good evening while we were able to connect with old friends from out of town.:)

Came here to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary, since the start, they were super accomodating and helpful. The day of the dinner, Chandler was my server and he went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. Food was amazing! Cooked to perfection. Everyone was happy with their choice of food.

I don’t remember exactly what it’s called but let’s say the take out Family Dinner Meal was outstanding. It was $22 we got a main course, salad and 2 sides to feed our family of 4 (with left overs!!) it was perfect, delicious and cheaper than going to McDonald’s! Highly recommend! I just ordered over the phone and grabbed my meal from the bar, super quick and easy!

Had dinner here tonight (In town for 5 nights and this was my 3rd dinner there, just super friendly and really good food!) So went in specifically for their weekend Prime Rib dinner, got into the bar and asked if they had a lot of Prime Rib (as I wanted to enjoy a beer before ordering) they checked and said they had plenty, so I waited about 30 or so minutes, a few minutes after I put in my order, I hear them calling from the kitchen "86 Prime Rib, we're out!"... Figured I was ok, my order has been in at least 10 minutes or so before this happened... Well, a few minutes later Brandy (the Manager) comes over and apologizes and says they are out of Prime Rib, she asked what else she could get me and assured she would "make it right", I got the "Dynamite Steak & Shrimp" (which was EXCELLENT!), she took care of a good portion of the bill and really offered EXCELLENT Customer Service! On top of that, Jayda (Bartender) was super friendly, attentive and apologized as well for them running out of Prime Rib so early in the evening! Brandy & Jayda are superstar employees that know how to treat customers right! I get into town for 5 nights every 6 months, this particular Saltgrass Steakhouse has always been my "go to" for at least 1-2 dinner... I think I'll be going back tomorrow night for my last dinner in town! (that's be 4 out of 5 dinners on this trip!) Brandy & Jayda are awesome and the new Dynamite Flat Iron Steak, WOW!!! They need to KEEP that on the menu!!! Love the Service, Love the Food and Love the Texas Atmosphere!!!! 5 Stars!!! (and they have Ice Cold Shiner Bock on tap again!!! YAY!!!)

Hadn't been to saltgrass in awhile and I got to say it was just as good as I remember it. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Spoke to Michael at the end of the meal and he was real personable. Can't wait to come back.

I visited Saltgrass in Grapevine on 12/12/25 for a late lunch. Table 40/1 @2:28 p.m 6/60019. Our server, Matt was very welcoming and greeted us with a smile. He was very courteous, knowledgeable and informative. He answered all questions about the menu items. A couple of questions that we asked about alcohol, he was not sure about, so he quicky went and found the answers. He was very patient as we took our time making decisions. Our lunch came out in a timely manner. We had the prime rib and a carry-out pork chop dinner. After we finished eating, Matt went to get boxes for our leftovers. While we were waiting, another server named Johnathan walked by and just stopped to see if we needed anything, or if we wanted him to take our food to be boxed to go, and he was not even our server. When Matt returned, he thanked us for dining with Saltgrass and asked what we had planned for the rest of our day. We complimented his patience and manners. We told him that his parents did a great job raising him. We requested to speak to his manager, who was Jacques. We told Jacques how impressed we were with Matt and told him someone at Saltgrass had obviously done a great job of training him. Jacques was equally as courteous and respectful as Matt was. He was very complimentary of Matt’s performance. He was glad that we were happy with the service and thanked us for dining with them and asked us to make sure we come back soon. I forgot my drink and left it on the table. When I realized it and went back in to get it, the table was being cleaned. Another server walked by and told me that he would get me a new drink. I eat out a lot and was actually going to Perry’s on this day; however, it was booked, so we decided to go here. Many servers these days have not been trained well, act like they don’t want to work and don’t really care about providing good service. I’m glad that I went to Saltgrass in Grapevine. It was one of the most pleasurable dining experiences that I’ve ever had. The food was great, the overall atmosphere and service at this restaurant was impeccable. There are some good young men who want to work & these guys provided exceptional service. Kudos!

My go-to steak restaurant in the area. The value for the quality you get is excellent. They are conveniently located just off the 114 (and off from Grapevine South Main Street) and have plenty of parking spaces. There are different seatings available and I believe they have private rooms dining for those special occasions. They also have bar sitting if you prefer sitting at a bar. There are TV screens showing different sports. The atmosphere is lively but not too noisy so we are able to have decent conversations. They have their normal menu but they also have a gluten free menu. They serve you the Shiner Bock Beer Bread fresh and warm with butter to start. They would often ask if you want more though you can request them anytime. If ordering steak or one of the main meals, you are given the option of a salad or soup. They have two options for the salads (Caesar or House) and soup (I think it's tortilla or vegetable options). They can also do upgrades for salads for a few more dollars. I do like their Spinach and Cranberry salad (I have a photo of it) upgrade. Salads are nice and fresh. The ribeye is my preferred steak cut and it is of good quality. For most cases (as we have dined here multiple times), they have cooked it the way I wanted. If it's not cooked to your liking, just mention it to them and they will fix it for you. The photo is of the 12 oz ribeye though they have the 16 oz version. They would have the steak butter on top but I prefer mine without (so the photo does not have the steak butter). You also have a side that comes with it. I like either the baked potato (with your preference for toppings like sour cream, chives, etc.) or the brussel sprouts (crunchy with balsamic honey). The one in the photo is the brussel sprouts. I like the service as they regularly check on you but just like in any restaurant, it can vary especially as they may have new servers. But what I like the most is that they have their managers going around regularly to check on things and they make it right! Overall, the combination of service, food quality, and price results in a restaurant I highly rate especially with the consistency.

Jayda is hands down the BEST bartender! We're glad that she's back! Atmosphere, food, and drinks are always on point! I don't know why they got rid of it, but they need to bring back the bacon-wrapped quail to the appetizer menu though!

Even when they’re busy, I’ve not had a bad experience with this salt grass. I do prefer the steak and fish, but their fried chicken and appetizers are fantastic.

The food was delicious even though I do not eat meat, the salmon with rice & vegetables was spectacularly tasty! The customer service was incredibly amazing, and the hostess spoke both English & Spanish perfectly and took the order on the spot so when the food arrived it was as we wanted hot, tasty, and with a good size portion to share! We will be back✨

Saltgrass steak house in grapevine is my go to location for steak! Amazing cuts of meat, cooked perfectly with ALL the flavor. Don’t miss out on the smoked Mac’n cheese, you’ll thank me later. If you can sit in Jennifer’s section, GREAT service, she never skipped a beat!

Amazing food with great service. I also got the Lucky Penny whiskey drink made with Chris Stapleton's new whiskey. So good! I'm not a whiskey drinker but this drink went down smooth. I could've easily had 2 of these. I ordered the brisket and queso dip...best queso ever!! Most everything is made in house...including the cheesecake and the white choc and strawberry sauce that came with it. Not pictured as we took it to go. I also got the surf and turf smothered with caramelized onions and sauteed mushrooms. Husband got the brisket burger. They both tasted amazing! The steak was nice and tender and juicy, just a tad too much cracked pepper on the steak for my taste but still a great steak! Highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area.

I brought a group of high school students from Utah to eat here, and it was wonderful! Setting up the group reservation was easy. The manager and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our busy schedule. The food is absolutely delicious, and you definitely get your money's worth. Highly recommend!

Cool place for that country, cowboy atmosphere! Wide open space so it can be a bit noisy if you are looking for private - heads up. Food was great! Try the Cowboy Ribeye - was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. Price is typical for a steakhouse. Service was excellent! Easy to find, open parking and they got us right in. We will be back!

Wanted to visit Saltgrass since I saw it on day one of my vacation to Dallas. Finally made it to the Grapevine, TX restaurant and so glad I did. The atmosphere is fantastic... inside and out. Loved everything about it. While it was cozy and nice, I came for the steaks. The ribeye I ordered was outstanding. Perfectly season for me. Huge baked potato (haven't seen that lately), excellent caesar salad, drinks were good, too. The bread was good, however, the server took it away with only half eaten and never replaced it. Other family members had the Top Sirloin and fries. Awesome!! As for the waitress, I was not too impressed. She didn't have the patience that is required for a party of 6. Every moment seemed rushed. She didn't speak loud enough and it was tough to give our food orders. She also took our unfinished meals away too quickly and 3 of us had to tell her we weren't finished with them yet. This, however, didn't take away any good points for the restaurant, itself. Other than the lack of great service, this restaurant made up for it in the quality of its food. I was very impressed with my meal and when I go back to the Dallas area, I will definitely eat there again.

I love eating here due to the consistent quality of the food and service. I can’t speak highly enough of Jerry and Brandy who have always ensured my meals were excellent and as ordered even when dining with larger parties.

Done exclusively well would be my quick review. Mouth watering salmon, seasoned to perfection. The smoked Mac and Cheese was the perfect combination. It was like the Batman and Robin of culinary delight. We ended it with a hugh slice of carrot cake. So Darn Good.

Had a great experience at SaltGrass. Paul was our server and he was amazing, he recommend the Watermelon Fresco drink, it’s delicious and pretty! The food was great as well! A couple of managers came by to see how we were doing our meal which was a plus. We met Logan, she’s amazing and a pleasure to meet as well. I would definitely come back the next time I’m in Dallas!

To Upper Management & Future customers My family and I had a truly exceptional experience at the Saltgrass Steak House in Grapevine this Thanksgiving, and I wanted to take a moment to share our appreciation. My wife and I live in Austin and have visited Saltgrass on several occasions during the holidays—sometimes just the two of us, and other times with extended family. We have consistently enjoyed memorable Thanksgiving and Christmas meals at your restaurants, which is why we suggested Saltgrass for this year’s holiday gathering with our daughter and her husband in Euless. Our daughter, who has several food allergies, called ahead to make a reservation at the Grapevine location. During that call, she spoke with a manager who assured her that there would be a number of menu items that could be safely prepared to accommodate her needs. This gave us great confidence in choosing Saltgrass again for such an important family meal. When we arrived, there was a small issue with the reservation, but the team resolved it efficiently and had us seated within about 30 minutes. Once at the table, our server (Jayda) took our drink orders, and we began reviewing the menu. My daughter explained her allergies and requested special preparation. Our server was focused and took notes. One of the managers, Sean, came to the table to personally confirm my daughter's needs. He was attentive, reassuring, and went above and beyond to ensure her safety and comfort. The meal itself was excellent for all of us, and we had a wonderful time together. Pleasantly surprised. Went for lunch on a Wednesday, fairly busy. We got Co Queso appetizer, the Laredo Chicken and the Prime rib lunch meals.the appetizer was so tasty. The Laredo Chicken is AMAZING. Layers of flavors..the prime rib was delicious too. It isn't a wonder why its busy here all the time. The front/hostess staff were amazing! It was Saturday night and we had a party of 12. We left two establishments with hostesses saying, they could not seat us at the time and it would be over a 3 hours wait. Salt Grasses hostess staff, welcomed us in and made us feel very welcome. They said it maybe about an hour wait…but they would work our party in as soon as possible. They kept their word, and after only a 40 minute wait we were seated. Now let’s talk about the awesome food and incredible service! What a great team you have at the Grapevine location🥰

We were greeted with a huge, warm smile by Melany which set the tone! We made sure to tell the manager this! Brandy also greeted us & made sure to send a waiter over! Clye waited on us with patience, precision, and care! This has been one of the most pleasant visits to Saltgrass that we have had in a very long time! We came here for a late Thanksgiving lunch. Food was terrific and for the price you get a lot of food! Salad and soup starters were good, definitely recommend the potato soup. Brisket queso was yummy, recommend dipping their bread in that instead of chips! Steaks cooked how we asked, mid rare and rare. Service was great, Jayda at the bar was super sweet and attentive. We will be back for sure and likely this will become our Thanksgiving tradition!

11/22/2025. No reservation for Salt Grass Grapevine, Tx. 45-50 min wait. While waiting, two seats at bar opened up. Grabbed them. Dillon, Brendan and David were working the bar. Watching them work was part of the fun sitting at bar. Like the stooges, one was quiet, one jokester and one serious. One of the best bar crews, I have seen. More friendly and attentive than you'd expect from bar tenders. I thought for sure there would be crashes and spilled drinks. They were so in sync with each other while they served food and drinks. Every seat at bar had drinks and food. Both were served with precision, you only hope for this type of service. While out spending some hard-earned money. The 3 of them should be the model for taking care of patrons. In a nutshell they were interactive and entertaining.

All of the food was packed full of delicious flavors. Grilled chicken sandwich was very good, Mac and cheese was enjoyable and the brussel sprouts had a great flavor. The chicken taco soup was okay but the tortilla chip strips were stale and tough to chew..The wheat bread and honey butter was a little odd but after a few bites it grew on me. Friendly staff and clean environment.

Saltgrass is one of if not the best large chain steak houses around. The Grapevine location has been my favorite for years. They consistently deliver great service and food. It is not as cheap as some other chains but, the quality of the food is significantly better. This location in particular has lower wait times than other locations, which can at times be 1hour+. We went for Sunday dinner with a group of 6 and were seated right away. The restaurant was busy but the server was attentive and kept our drinks full despite having multiple family sized tables. The management team came to check on us as well which was a very nice touch. I had the porterhouse which I forgot to snap a pic of, the rest of my family had the New York strip or sirloin. Everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals. The Mac and cheese was a bit rich for my taste but was very good, the shiner bock bread that comes with the meal served with sweet whipped butter is a show stealer. The side Caesar salad is one of my wife’s favorites, it is fresh, crisp and refreshing. The brisket queso with fresh, warm tortilla chips is really next level!

It's hard to rate this visit. We never go to Saltgrass because all past experiences have been less than stellar. You know , the important parts, the steak and the service. This visit, the steak and service was in fact stellar. However, the pacing of food coming out was terrible. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. The appetizer came out and before we were even half through that our soups came out, the drinks came out seconds later and as soon as those were delivered, the entrees came. We were still trying to eat our appetizers. We switched over to the soup and planned to save the rest of the appetizer for another time. The soup was cold. I should have sent it back cold. I just skipped it and finished the appetizer. My husband's bloody Mary was missing the shrimp and bacon that was in the description. His drink was sent back, fixed and returned. Great. I ordered the Perfect Patron and the drink that came out looks like I got the Especial. I was charged for the PP. We figured the glasses were dirty so they just used a different one. It tasted great. So, like I said, rating this trip was difficult. I really want to give 3.75 stars, but it's not an option and 3 stars is too low. Oh! And the Mac and cheese was GREAT!

Went there for first time for our son's 9th birthday (we were asked if was first time and occasion when we made reservation). We were seated right in front of a nice fireplace. My wife had steak, I had redfish. Had seafood fondue for appetizer. The food and service were excellent. I do wish they would have recognized our son's birthday.

Salt Grass Steakhouse - Grapevine Good service from our waiter. He was very attentive, despite being very busy inside the restaurant. He deserves, Five-Stars. (I wish I remembered his name) When we ordered our drinks, hot coffee and unsweetened iced tea, he replied, “I don’t have anything made fresh, but I’ll go start brewing fresh batch of coffee and tea.” I can appreciate that. Small details really do matter. When he brought our drinks, upon tasting them, my dad and I could tell, our waiter was a person of integrity. Once we ordered our food, it did take a little bit but we didn’t mind. Once the food arrived, both our steaks looked great. Our waiter came back after few bites, to make sure our steaks were indeed how we wanted them. “New York Strip,” 12 OZ, was especially good. Hats off to the chef. It was cooked with perfection. The seasoning and the butter melting on top was amazing. No need for additional steak sauce. “Smoked Mac & Cheese,” was also the best I’ve ever tasted. I had to give some to my dad to try. It was perfect amount of cheesy, well seasoned and good portion of bacon pieces sprinkled over it. I want to give this place, five stars, but despite our waiter going above and beyond, place being fairly clean. I do have few things to mention that doesn’t make this place a Five-Star. We were seated by the kitchen and no complaints there. But some of the kitchen staff, waiters and manager on duty, can be heard complaining and possibly loud arguments. It was somewhat unprofessional and you could tell, staff didn’t care if they were heard or not by dining guests. Otherwise, I would still return and recommend it here. A side note. For a high-end steak house, outside in the dark times, the word, “Salt” is burned out and it looks like it’s been out for over a year.

I love a good steak house and this is my fourth time that I want to give a Saltgrass a good review, but the meat and the service is not great for what you pay. A $41 dollar steak is not worth it if is dry or not juice. In my opinion Texas Roadhouse is way better option and not pricey.

I've gone to a few different locations and was satisfied for the most part. I usually stick with the same meal almost every time, which is Pat's Ribeye, medium and either loaded mashed potatoes or baked sweet potato and broccoli. The last few times I've gone, the quality of the food has declined, disappointing I know! Especially when you dont eat beef much anymore and craved this meal to only be let down. However, the bread and butter and drinks didn't let me down, so I guess there's that!

The server was very nice and came to check on us many times. The wait was very short. The restaurant is dimmed, they have lanterns with fire that illuminates the place. The ambiance could be suitable for a first date or casual night out. The bread and sweet butter was a perfect starter at the table. I recommend the Cesar salad. I️ had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was tasty, I️ wish it had a signature sauce to really elevate it. The fries were good, but not as crispy as I️ typically like. My friend got the steak and enjoyed it. I️ do not recommend the deserts as 1 slice of cake is 1900 calories.

Several at our table mentioned that the food was so salty it was barely edible. The menu had a good variety and the waiter was attentive. We took leftovers home so the food could be rinsed off of all the heavily salted sauce and ate it for dinner. Too expensive to not be edible

The table right next to us must have had the manager and his wife or someone famous, some employs came over and said hi but, one stayed for a long time talking with this folks very loudly to the point my wife and I had to repeat each other's conversation. They arrived after ys and received their food promptly,, well before ours. This particular waiter was very attentive to them after they got there food and kinda of hovered watching them.....very dishearting to come to a place that is very well hyped up. My Saltgrass Steakhouse saga was a comedy of errors. The service dragged like a sloth on vacation, and Corbin, our server, seemed to be on a permanent coffee break. He couldn't even get a salad and soup order right, stumbling over words and disappearing like a magician's assistant. My steak showed up looking like it had only just said "howdy" to the grill before landing on my plate. I couldn't even poke it with a fork. The baked potato felt like chewing on a flip-flop, lukewarm at best. My wife's ribs tasted like they'd been on an Arctic expedition, thawed, then baptized in last year's sauce. I didn't dare go near her shrimp. It's been ages since I've had such a memorable steakhouse debacle.

They were pretty slow and when I presented my AARP card for the 10% off he just did for my meal. We had a party of 10, it has for the whole party and even says so when you look up

I had a good experience. Although, may I suggest not making your employees to state the Bill of Rights before I’m asked what I want to eat or drink?? Love eating here but it’s a bit much. I just want my food, not being given suggestions on what to try for 5 minutes.

We went there this Tuesday evening to celebrate a birthday. The food was just okay, and the server was friendly. We asked him, “Is there any birthday special?” and he said he’d check, but we guess he forgot. However, he did remind us about signing up for the membership. We went there hoping to feel special, but we were disappointed. We’re not sure if we’ll visit again.

I ordered a medium steak, which came back with so much Char the steak tasted burned. For some reason, my husband‘s T-bone was not as burned. His actually had juice on the top and glistened where mine looked dry and tasted burnt. Let’s move onto the fried onions. Those were fried in oil that left an aftertaste in your mouth as if the oil was old or rancid. I did send back the medium sirloin, but requested a medium rare sirloin in place of the first one hoping that the char wouldn’t be so overwhelming. That did not happen and only after I ordered the second steak and rejected it did the manager tell me that they could’ve cooked The steak not on an open flame but a different surface. So I feel that the management could have saved one steak by just offering that as an option after the first one was so burnt and tasted burnt. I prefer to taste steak, not Char. I do have a video which I will post. I’m giving Saltgrass 2 stars for potatoes and brussels sprouts but those are kind of hard to mess up and my husband’s steak that was not burned. We did tell our waitress that the onions had an aftertaste and the oil was bad. They only credited two steaks (the two that I returned that were over burnt), but that was another thing that irked me. The steaks were $26.99 but they only credited us $51 and some cents to remove those from the bill. They never credited us the fried onions, even though we left a pile on our table. I ended up never eating a steak because I was so frustrated. And yes, I did not complain about the $51 that was incorrectly credited and the $10 that should’ve been credited for fried onions but I just wanted to get out of there. I waited so long for the second steak not thinking I would be put at the back of the line for a re-order. My husband had already finished his steak and he’s a slow eater. I think waiting for that second steak just put me over the edge. I was hungry and I was hungry for a steak and this place wasn’t cutting it. This experience was a disappointing end of a long day since we had been running around trying to secure a residence for ourselves. It was supposed to be a celebration, but that’s not how it ended up. It really bums me out 2 tasty things were so not tasty, and I was hungry for both. So bummed.

Who is handling the to go orders? I was told to go to the end of the bar where no one asked me anything for 30 minutes before a waitress finally noticed I was there and brought my cold food. If you don’t want to serve people don’t be open today. Making me wait 30 extra minutes for cold food is not cool.

We are diners club card holders. I had made a reservation earlier in the week due to it being Valentines on Saturday. Apperantly there was an issue with my reservation at 9:30pm and other's like me were in the same boat. Manager was helpless, he needed conformation numbers or proof. The only thing he offered was for us to an hour or more to be accomedated as there were many 8pm guests still ahead of us that were also delayed. I chose to eat at the bar instead, great service at the bar but much rather had been sat in a more intimate setting. This place is very unorganized! People were upset, some waited outside in their cars, while others were in the waiting area. The reason why I paid for this dining card was to enjoy Saltgrass, as this was my only reason for joining. This was indeed very dissapointing.

Sat in there for 30 minutes this evening and was ignored by the server twice. I’m assuming because I was by myself and two other parties, a two person and a 5 person sat down a few minutes after I did. I watched as both other parties were able to order drink and appetizers as I sat with a menu. I tried twice to get the servers attention but he turned around and walked alway without a glance. I really wanted to order pork chops and a baked sweet potato. Sad to say after 30 minutes I got up and left. The hostess said thanks for dining with us. I said I didn’t get the chance but thanks and walked out. I would have understood if the section was busy but it wasn’t. Out of 6 or 8 tables only three were full and I was one. Needless to say, I am eating sushi now across the highway.

Flat soda, stale bread, and a salad featuring wilted, rotting lettuce. I didn’t even wait for the main course because the preview was enough. If this is what’s being served before the steak arrives, I wasn’t about to gamble. Hard pass.

Ordered the Silverstar Porterhouse , it came out cold and the tenderloin side of the T-bone was cooked to death. The server didn’t even bother to ask how it was. It takes real talent to ruin such a good cut of meat and make it feel like no one cares.
