Thank you so much! We ordered a cake for our daughter's birthday and it was a huge success. It was a surprise and she was thrilled. Thank you so much!
Here you'll find the best palmeras in all of Seville. They come in a multitude of varieties, and I recommend going early because they sell out quickly despite the large quantity. And I recommend being patient because there's usually a bit of a queue, despite the super-fast service. Due to high demand, the bar/café area is no longer open, and takeout is now only available.
This is the place if it's the bakery to fill up on sweets for those with a sweet tooth, with large sizes, many flavors, and many different sweets. It's one of the best bakeries in Spain. First, for its variety and quality, and second, for its very affordable prices compared to any other place in the Valencian Community, Barcelona, or Madrid, where there are very good Instagrammable places, but with nothing to envy this place, and where prices are more affordable here. We placed an order for pickup of four wedges with a good filling all over them; they're huge... Four berlinas with their filling and an XL palmera in two flavors, half and half. We went in the morning, and they had the displays full of sweets, and you wanted to take everything home or live there to visit them every week. 😁🤭 What friendly staff, where we enjoyed talking to them, and they invited us to a couple of hot chocolates, even a palm tree folded with bones. Keep it up, you'll bring us lots of happiness.
This is the best place to get good, quality, fresh European pastries! I come to Valme every time I'm in Dos Hermanas; sometimes my friend will bring pastries back to the U.S. from Valme because you cannot get anything like it here. Great to bring the children for ice cream in the summer as well, but the pastries are by far the best!!
Ricoooooo
Ok
Palm trees, palm trees everywhere. There are so many types of palm trees. I guess there are around 30? Plus, there are lots of wedges of different flavors, ice cream, and other sweets and pastries. There's always a line, but they move quickly, and there's a dining room inside. A great place if you have a sweet tooth.
Anyone from Dos Hermanas knows this confectionery's palmeras. There are countless flavors and combinations on their menu, so that's the only problem you'll encounter when you visit: which palmera to choose! And the lines that form due to the large number of people in their shop. In the photos I've uploaded, you can see the Filipino palmeras, dark chocolate with orange, and finally, one of our favorites: dulce de leche, milk chocolate with almonds. In addition to palmeras, they also have wedges, ice cream, and now that the Christmas season is approaching, they also have mantecados, etc. If you're passing through this town, make a stop at this confectionery; you won't regret it!
Everything was great, and the service was good too. They have palmiers in many flavors, each one better than the last; they're delicious. They also have ice cream and pastries. It's usually quite busy. One thing that could be improved is the acoustics, which are quite poor, and when it's crowded, it's difficult to have a conversation. But other than that, everything was very good. If you're ever in the area, be sure to visit.
Excellent desserts!
Sooo many flavours!
We went to this cafe with the intention of eating there. It was a recommendation. The staff was very attentive. The pastries were delicious, and there's a wide variety. They have tea, coffee, and so on. I recommend the fruit palm tree. I'm giving it 4 stars because, although the cafe has plenty of space for tables and chairs both inside and outside, they only have two high tables. We enjoyed the pastries, but if we had been seated and comfortable, it would have been better. I'll show photos.
I was going to start by criticizing the high price of the pastries and the presence of a fly in the display case on a chocolate palm tree, but as soon as I started with the white chocolate wedge and Kinder, I instantly forgot about these inconveniences and the long lines that usually occur. It would be nice if they could start having afternoon snacks there like they did before the pandemic. In short, with its pros and cons, it's undoubtedly the best pastry shop in Dos Hermanas. A word of advice: although the palm trees are particularly famous, I prefer the wedges... one can fill you up for the whole day!
Great cakes and ice cream. Very busy Sat and Sundays.
The pastries are delicious. It's a shame the place is always half-closed. No tables, nothing. It's better to take away. We went with the kids, and it was awkward eating at a high table, the only one available. But hey, it's just takeaway, or so they want. I respect that.
ok
A very good café, ice cream shop, and even better pastry shop. The Palmera pastry menu, with over a hundred varieties, and their King Cakes are particularly noteworthy. Unfortunately, the lack of organization in management and customer service, which creates long queues that fill the entire room for an indefinite amount of time, makes the experience uncomfortable for both customers who want to enjoy a coffee and those waiting in line. If these issues aren't addressed, they will doom this otherwise splendid project.
I read the reviews and here's my opinion. Ordering is a real hassle; they rush you and have no desire to make recommendations. You have to order without even knowing what you want. I wouldn't go back. And if you're going, make sure you have the menu ready in case some items are out of stock.
So, here we are on Three Kings' Day morning enjoying a delicious roscón, because it tastes great. But it's SO expensive. When I ordered a family-size one and they quoted me €40, I thought it would be more. I've been buying roscón here for over 10 years. I'm not coming back. It gets bigger and bigger every time. I understand the ingredients are more expensive, but it's excessive. Like I said, I'm not coming back.
