We got the seafood boil bag and our server Tameka was wonderful! She took the time to shake up our bags with all the seasonings so we got all the flavors onto our seafood. She was very friendly and made sure our food was brought out warm and hot! Host was super friendly and made me and my bestie laugh throughout our stay.
My husband and I were staying overnight at the Downers Grove Holiday Inn Express, and we decided to go next door to Red Lobster for dinner. It had been years since we had been to Red Lobster, and we were so pleasantly surprised! We sat at the bar for dinner. Our waiter, Howie, was also waiting tables and handling all the incoming drink orders. He was super busy, but he still managed to be very attentive and took great care of us. Howie made a great margarita, and he took our appetizer order right away. Our app of bacon wrapped scallops was delicious - the bacon crispy and scallops juicy. My husband had a yummy lobster duo, and I had surf-and-turf with a NY strip. Red Lobster isn't known for steak, but mine was perfect. A side of crispy brussels sprouts with a soy glaze was a star... we nearly fought over them! If you haven't been to Red Lobster lately, I highly recommend visiting the Downers Grove location.

Such an amazing experience at Downers Grove Red Lobster! Zundra provided amazing customer service. Our food was delicious! It came out fast and was hot! Def will be back again soon to enjoy! I ordered the new boil bag. I did the one with lobster! A must.
So we tried the bag Mariners seafood boil, was delicious. Me and my niece ate this bag and it was more than enough and delicious. We had the Garlic and the cheese flavor. Everyone should try it.

Had a good dining experience when we visited. Not a fan of the scallops, but its just me. Guess it was the texture. Overall, the server was really good, price was on point, the ambiance was really good, parking was huge and we didnt have to wait long for our food to come out.
This Red Lobster is one of the nicest, most friendliest, & cleanest Red Lobster locations I have ever had the pleasure of dining in! The hostess we had was very nice & sweet & she put us in a nice seating area near the window! Our waiter, Santos was cool & so nice! Our food was hot & ready, too! I really enjoyed eating here & if I ever come back to Downer's Grove, I will come back here (hopefully)! 👍🏾👌🏾❤️

Zundra was exceptionally. She memorized all 6 of our order and got all the orders correct. If you get the pleasure to eat at this Red Lobster ask for her and you will get the best service and a great person. I hope they reward her for her great customer service!!
We had an excellent experience at Red Lobster thanks to the wonderful hostess, Tameka. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional from the moment we walked in. She greeted us with a genuine smile, seated us promptly, and made sure we were comfortable while we waited. Her positive attitude and attention to detail truly set the tone for a great dining experience.
Very first time at red lobster and I gotta say it was amazing! Overall we gave it a 9.5/10 the biscuits were delicious! Lobster dip was so good! We had the very popular mariners seafood boil and it was pretty good! Some parts of the crab legs had very little meat but that’s out of their control the rest of it was delicious! Margarita flight was good as well! Service was amazing and I would go back 100%!
Tameka was the ONLY server working but you couldn’t tell it. She never missed a minute making sure we were taken care of. Her personality and attitude should be used to train all servers. Excellent job!!!
Tony our server, was excellent and on point with a peasant personality. Our steak and lobster was cooked to perfection. Especially the steak, tender and favorable. I really enjoyed my dinner at this Red Lobster. Keep up the good work!

My experience at this location was absolutely amazing. Melissa made my visit feel like i was in a high end 5 star restaurant. Her service, professionalism, and character have definitely raised my personal standards in a dine in restaurant. I highly recommend asking to be seated with Melissa if the opportunity gives.
We absolutely LOVE our Red Lobster! Food quality is excellent as always! And our service tonight was exceptional! Our server, Destiny was very friendly, fast, and attentive. The manager came out to check on us several times. All smiles tonight! The Shrimp Special was an AMAZING value at 15.99, we are going to get 2 more meals from our leftovers, for sure! Our server Malissa is the best server we have ever had. We voiced a small concern and she responded with a great solution and kind jesters of service above the call of duty. Hope we have a chance to sit in her station next time our family is here.
The cheese biscuits are the bomb. I love coming to red lobster they have the most amazing food and choices. I had the sesame soy salmon bowl and it was really good.
The Lombard location is made to order. You can really taste the freshness. Great portion sizes too. Eddy was amazing! Super friendly and listened. Our order came out correct , hot, and fresh
Red Lobster Dowers Grove has excellent service, are host Anthony was very friendly and explained the options for are sea food boil very well. Also continually refilled our drinks when he noticed we were low which I loved because I am a heavy soda drinker!
Solid Red Lobster experience. Food is yummy, hot, and fresh. Cheddar Bay biscuits are perfection. We had Cindia as a server and she was delightful.
We went to Red Lobster in Downers Grove, illinois on Valentines Day. We did make a reservation, thank goodness because it was definitely hopping. Our server, Chaun, never missed a beat. He had quite a few tables, one being a larger party, but he made sure to check on every table. He knew it was going to take a bit to get our food and the bay biscuits were flying out as fast as they could. Chaun was able to bring a couple out to us which held us over until our appetizer was ready. He was smiling the whole time and joking with us and his other tables. He really made a crazy busy night feel so relaxing. Thanks Chaun, keep being you!
Resturant was very clean. My group of 5 was seated right away, we did have reservations. The music that was playing wasn't obnoxious or too loud. Very classy. The waiter Santos was excellent. His spirit was up, he smiled, greeted us warmly! Absolute Gentleman! Seemed to enjoy his job...made my whole group feel respected and comfortable. Santos took our order quickly. He served the plates with professionalism and came back to check on us 3-4 times. He kept the drinks and the water filled. The food was top notch! Tasty, well prepared just splendid! Complents to the chef! Santos made the dinner a great one! We will return.
We hadn't been to Red Lobster in a while. Service, cost and food quality had really tanked in the last years. This last visit wasn't bad. It was a bit on the pricey side, but our waitress made up for it. She was great. She really made family night out a great time. Thank you.

Went for my birthday, Marcel took SUCH great care to make sure it was perfect! Good service seems to be a rare find these days, but not here!! Everyone was just wonderful!
Santos is THE MAN!! He took great care of us. Gracias Hombre! The food was pretty good. The chef cooked the crab legs perfectly. Most of the meat came out in one piece. The restaurant itself is clean enough, but needs an update.
Great customer service and the food at this location was top notch. The wait was a little too long but definitely worth it. The employees were very hard working and deserved their tip for the great work. Wish they had the endless shrimp deal but it was still a great overall experience.
We came here specifically for that endless shrimp special for $25. Parking is very ample since it’s shared with Holiday Inn Express. It didn’t take long for us to get seated. The biscuits were still mouth watering as the last time I was there and that was a long time ago. With the endless shrimp option, you have 7 to pick from plus one side. For the first three I chose Walt’s favorite shrimp, crispy sea salt and vinegar shrimp, and garlic shrimp scampi. My side was mashed potatoes. Since it was busy, it took a bit of time for the food to come out but they came out hot and fresh. Walt’s favorite shrimp and garlic shrimp scampi were both delicious. The sea salt and vinegar shrimp was okay, but didn't have a lot of flavor. The waiter returned and said I can choose two for the second round. I chose the shrimp linguini alfredo and parrot isle jumbo coconut shrimp. The coconut was probably my favorite, they were big and the sauce had a very prominent coconut flavor. Shrimp linguini alfredo was good too, the pasta helps with all of the shrimp. Third round I just went with the grilled shrimp skewer since I’m not a big fan of popcorn shrimp. The skewer was very tasty. I definitely recommend this deal if you’re able to do 2-3 rounds to get your money’s worth. It is true that they don’t come back as often since they know you got the endless option. I’m not sure why since they have it on the menu and they should expect customers to order it. Service was decent, could be a lot more attentive.
The place was not packed at all on a snowy Thursday night. The guy at the entrance was least bothered to guide us to a table, nor were we given any cutlery by him until we asked for it after the meals were served, hence a star less, our server was a very nice lady though, polite, took our orders aptly and got the food in a timely manner. The food was great, well made and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were enormous for any of us to finish it. Overall, highly recommend place to visit.
I have not been to Red Lobster in several years. The menu is improved! Drinks were great! Service was even better. The team was very attentive, friendly, and courteous! I will certainly be back!
It has been a while since I have been here at Red Lobster, but our server Tamika made it feel like home. Her professionalism was outstanding. She was there checking to make sure that we had everything we needed. Tamika was very polite and friendly with my husband and I. My husband ordered Salmon and he loved it, I ordered the fried Cod, which was fried just a little too hard for my taste. We’ll definitely have to go back, I think I’ll try something different next time. Thanks again to Tamika, she really made it special for us.
Our waitress was great. Lobster tails were okay . Son ordered pasta with shrimp. He didn’t like it to much said the shrimp did not have much flavor. The lobster biscuits were the best thing.
Sadly, to mention that food quality was down, from the cheddar biscuit to Salmon dinner, wasn't even look like we were in famous Red Lobster. Ice cream had sold frozen chunk. Our server, Megan, was pleasant, helpful, and professional. She was great, but the food was such a disappointment.
First day of the new menu. We were all excited to go to red lobster for the Monday special and it wasn't available today. We were very disappointed. The alternative food we were ordered was fine but we really wanted the Monday special which is now on Thursday. We ordered the shrimp scampi, grilled fish combo with a baked potato. Walt's shrimp special with mashed potatoes. You are only getting one side dish. We ordered ice tea. The server was very good, pleasant and efficient. Nothing special and expensive for what we got. The food was fresh and hot. We were able to get a free refill on the biscuits which everyone knows are awesome at red lobster. The restaurant was a little dated. It wasn't busy so seating wasn't an issue. We went at 12:30 during the lunch period. Not sure if I would go back as the price was $$ for the quality of food and quantity. Lunch averaged $25 each.
The service was slow and not the best. The food was overpriced for what they served my family. It didn’t taste that great. Even their biscuits tasted burned and dry. I also got charged twice. I spoke to the manager Jason. He was very nice and explained the charge would come off as it was still a pending transaction. Overall not the best dining experience.
This is a review based on the service level at this location. I ordered online two hours before my pick up time. I received a text from the restaurant 30 minutes before my pick up time saying that my food will be ready and to text “here” when I arrive at the curbside pick up location. I arrived at the location on time and texted “ here” and received a response that my food will be out momentarily. After sitting in the car for 15 minutes, I proceeded inside at which point I was told by food was not ready. I then went back out to my car where another 15 minutes had passed before my food finally came out. Ummm… hello?!!
Came in to order take out. Restaurant not crowded. Took 20 minutes for some one to take Togo order. A lot of unhappy people in restaurant due to lake of service. Due to shortage of staff it seems. Also I see a lot of people just standing around with there hands in there pockets. One guy has to come find someone so he could just pay his bill. Food was good but staffing & service needs help. Will find another red lobster to do business with due to the fact I grew gray hair waiting on service and food. Not mad but they need help.
My fiancé and I went here for Valentine’s Day as a little treat because there aren’t many red lobsters left in the area. The food was good, but not only did it take almost an hour for the food to come, but our waitress was beyond rude. She had no customer service skills whatsoever. I understand it’s probably been a long day for her on Valentine’s Day, but your job to be a waitress is to be customer friendly regardless and it wasn’t just us. There were four other complaints just in the small section that we had. very disappointing. Don’t know if I’ll be back.
Visiting from out of town for work. Decided to go to this RED LOBSTER for dinner after working 12 hours. I was seated right away but then couldn't get a waiter. Called a guy he did he wasn't my waiter and would send mine over, took another 10 minutes. Placed my drink and order. Drink finally came out. Then my food finally comes out. Cut into my lobster and this is what I find in the picture!!!! Gross hair in my food. Would not recommend this spot!!!
I ordered a lobster duel during lobster Fest, and had it delivered to my home was not able to enjoy my food. The only thing I was able to enjoy was the appetizer that I ordered the one lobster that I did try to eat part of the meat was uncooked as well as the other one. I could not even get out of the shell. The baked potato was also not completely cooked and I could not eat. I have patronized this restaurant before and never have. I had my food like this. This was very disappointing.
Literally came here for a pickup order spending $130..got ignored for ten minutes after my order time was supposed to be ready based on the pickup time. Constant work staff walking by me staring and ignoring me. The person at the host stand finally comes out and he picks up a phone call and I ask if he can help me. He said yes I will be right there to help you at the pick up stand...please wait over there and I will come when I am ready. Thought that was pretty rude but I obliged. I wait another five minutes here...and to my DISBELIEF THIS KID STARTS EATING..IN FRONT OF ME IN THE KITCHEN...LITERALLY STARING AT ME SMILING. Can't make this up folks. Finally a manager comes and asks if I have been helped yet and gets my order for me. She then tells the kid to help them out and get back to work. Thank you to the kind manager and woman who helped get my order. This kid should definitely be fired. Literally felt like it was a practical joke. Will definitely not be coming back here again and it is unfortunate because we have been coming here weekly.
Let me tell you all about the seafood boil bags, lol!!! What a joke, red lobster if you’re going to do something and be the last one’s to do it, you should have done it better than the competition. This “boil bag”, even though it’s in an aluminum pan that you can purchase at the dollar store( we did a pickup order) but still, WHERE’s the BAG and importantly where is the rest of the meal, l do have pictures because I want you all to judge for yourselves and trust me, it’s not worth the money. So even though Cajun bar and grill from my recent understanding has been labeled “a lot of things” their boil bags are still very good and plentiful. I have pictures and be your own judge, you’ve been warned, have a blessed one
We got here at 2pm. We are sitting here at 3:53 still waiting for food. The manager was no help at all and she pulled the waiter away from our table in the middle of taking our order so that he could figure separating a big parties checks. He didn’t come back for 20 minutes and we had to ask the hostess to take our order instead because we were tired of waiting. They didn’t communicate with the waiter that they had taken over his table and so he returned trying to take our order which was very sad. Im dissatisfied with this reataurants service overall and we honestly felt sorry for the waiter who was honestly nice and just overwhelmed.
Been twice this year and both times were awful. The service is always terrible. Management is invisible. Everything you can think of when it comes to bad service is going to happen. No refills, empty plates getting left on the table, missing sides from the meal, waiting in the check long after you eat. I could go on. Never again with this location. Only went back bc I had a gift card left over from Christmas.
Terrible service. They don't honor reservations waiting over two hours for my reservations and if you are going to have young kids workinhg the front make sure they know what hey are talking about and train them before you put them there. It is now 930 pm our food has finally come out except mine. The majority of the staff acted if they had an attitude, management wasn't much help at all, and i just can't get over the fact that they told me they couldn't reserve me a table for my party because of the size, but I made the reservation a week ago. They were so backed up and was still telling people to go and make a reservation that day when they were already 2 hrs behind. SMH. Something has to be done
