I had a very tasty Birria burrito (w/ cheese as suggested by the cashier) and a Starry 20oz bottle of soda. A server with a red bow in her hair was nice enough to bring my order to the outside table along with a squeeze bottle of salsa 👍 and a cup of consume. I sat and enjoyed the sunset while eating the savory burrito and sipping the soup. The burrito looked great and the portion was generous, almost on par with the soda bottle in terms of size. I’ll definitely stop in there again and try something else off the menu.

Teddy's Red Tacos in Downey, finally got the chance to try these red tacos and they didn't disappoint 😋. I got the deluxe plate which comes with a taco, a quesadilla, a military and a tostada (i think it was a tostada) and a small cup of consome. OK IF YOU LIKE REALLY YOU NEED TO ORDER DOS, TWO(2). Those things are so tiny you going to need to order twice. Thats what I did. This plate goes for around $14 or $30 if you get two and a bottle of agua Fresca. I got the orchata which was pretty good not ridiculously sweet like others I have tried. This birria is the truth!!! Es la verdad! So I drive all the way over where because this is the only place sipping the tortillas and making EXTREMELY FLAVORFUL CONSOMÉ. Don’t settle for birria elsewhere. TRUST ME!!

Seriously delicious! All his locations are amazing. You can request a vegetarian taco, but no vegan. The food is bomb!!!

Stopped at Teddy's Tacos while seeing a friend and Downey. Highly recommend. I got 2 tacos. a mulita, and a side of consome. Everything was delviisobut my favorite was the mulita, because of the crunch. The only meat option is birria so don't be like my friend who asked for asada haha.

Excellent tacos de birria, not greasy at all, consumé was fantastic! The red chile was SUPER picoso but the side of radishes cools it all down...sorta! My favorites were the Vampiro and the Mulita!

Always wanted to check this place out. Me and the wifey always pass by this spot when we are in Downey and decided to do so tonight. Birria tacos is what Teddy's doe's and you definitely will not be disappointed. My wife got their signature Red Tacos with birria and I got their #1 Deluxe plate plate which had 4 different styles. One was like a tostada only with their corn tortilla on top which was loaded with flavor and blew my taste buds away. (Tostada) Second one was like the folded ones only with cheese melted on the insides of the tortilla, lightly fried to give it just a touch of crispy crisp, also loaded with birria and flavor. (Beef Quesadilla) The third types on my plate were just like my wifey's, which was their signature street style tacos. third & fourth were their signature tacos (Taco & Mulita) Place was organized, clean, walk up window service which was professional. Of course their food was delicious and amazing. I'll definitely be back for more!

We came when they first opened: long lines, bad service and so-so tacos. It’s been about 2 years and decided to go back. …WAY BETTER!! We took tacos to go. We purchased 9 tacos and the sampler, and 3 medium consumes (no meat). Very flavorful, the meat was moist and delicious. I arrived a few minutes before 9am, and they were setting up. So glad they have improved and that we decided to go back again. We will definitely return!!! Kind of wish they opened earlier as we usually eat Birria at 8am… but other than that, it’s worth it.

The best item was the birria quesadilla. The flour tortilla was thick and the beef is juicy. Maybe the only item that was not up to par was the tostada, but it didn't even matter because the mulita was on point. I will be coming back.

I usually go to Venice location but I didn't want to make the drive since I'm coming from LB. This location was ok. The patio is so tiny you don't have space to move they have 3 tables underneath a tree in the parking lot. The food was great like always the only thing I didn't like is that the salsa was so watery! Like I said I've only been to Venice location and I never had this problem. Other than the salsa and the small patio the service was great , the employees where nice and the tacos where amazing.

The mulita and tostada were made with stale tostadas. The establishment was filthy dirty outside as guests were leaving their trash on all the tables. All in all I wish this place the very best

I ask for a taco dorado and it was a soft taco. I got up from the table and i ask the cashier if it was a taco dorado and she said it was semi dorado in the menu they have no such thing as a semi dorado ni que fuera una llanta semi nueva. The table was dirty the employees were just talking in the back like they were in a park. I ask for a rag to clean the table instead of having them clean it she gave me the rag to clean it myself and kept talking in the back They were not busy when I was there. The food was not good but I thank god I had something to eat.
