The food here is always delicious, the prices are always great, and best of all the staff is some of the most friendly you'll ever encounter at a place this good.

Well done. We fot fried chicken dinner and fish and chips and they were excellent. The salads were crisp and fresh and there was a lot of food. Way to many fries.

Good lil spot, one of those everything menus, from breakfast to lunch, prolly has something for everyone. Not cheap but good portions and you get what you pay for, should fill you up, mom barely ate half.

All their food is great, never had a bad meal there. Son loves it and so does the rest of the family.

The hamburger special and chili cheese fries are the best. Better than any I've had in a while. The employees were very nice. Nice place for lunch.

The menu is outdated and the meals don’t have prices only some of the items do. I decided to order a la carte and went with the cheese burger and an order of fries. The taste of the fries and burger were good. The burger tasted home made and fresh and so did the fries. Although the place was busy and only had two people working they were fast and friendly. They have outside restrooms that very clean. I would come back if i was in the area

I got the char-broil chicken sandwich combo.(total $15.42) It is good! The chicken was very juicy. Tons of yummy fries. It’s my new favorite item to get at VJ‘s burgers.(Half way through I decided to take pictures) Love the cheese burgers and chili fries too.

Really good chorizo breakfast burrito, good flavor and spicy red salsa. Bigger than your normal burrito.

Personally I love mom & pop burger joints. This spot is fast, clean, and great customer service. Their breakfast burritos are great and will fill you up. Pair them with their salsas, all are good. Their burgers are also good, I personally do not like shredded lettuce but taste is still great. Also, their fried zucchini is the best around here.

This location is great. The food is always fresh and Jose who is the owner is always nice. He and his wife make sure that all the food is made fresh from the salsa to the guacamole. It is a little pricey, but it’s definitely worth it knowing that you’re not getting a bunch of chemicalized food The burgers are great. The salads are good. Love the French toast. Everything you get here is always made fresh nothing ever sits around. I do sometimes have to ask for the french fries to be fresh or a little bit crispy but other than that everything is always good always delicious. The portions are great and the pricing is not bad. They do have burger deals but again 10 out of 10. Totally recommend.

Personally I love mom & pop burger joints. This spot is fast, clean, and great customer service. Their breakfast burritos are great and will fill you up. Pair them with their salsas, all are good. Their burgers are also good, I personally do not like shredded lettuce but taste is still great. Also, their fried zucchini is the best around here.

VJ's have a cheeseburger special that I find to be one of the best in Duarte CA

If you are looking for an all American cheese burger, than this place will hit the spot. It is very small, so plan on take out. I've only had the double cheese burger, so I can't speak for any of the other food. I do see a lot of people going in and out. I noticed because I work down the street.

I like it. It was a nice little hole in the wall. Good good food and good service. Come on down, you guys. The support are local businesses.

Great price for family combos and the food is always consistent. You get a ton of fries. Make sure you get ranch dressing/dip.

Nothing noteworthy, food was fresh and hot, steak sandwich was tender with fresh lettuce the wife's pastrami was good and with the right amount of flavor, only complant, no a/c on a 100 degree day.

Also wanted to try the onion rings and zucchini, which they were able to do half/half. $10 even if you order just one, so cool they didn’t up charge for the split, but still kind of high. Best part of the meal though! They also offered to add chili and cheese to my fries, so really got to try it all. Fries were a bit soggy, so need to order well done next time. Only part of the meal I didn’t fully enjoy. Next time I’m just going to order the burger combo with onion rings or zucchini and pat the up charge vs a full order for $10 and have way too much left over, but again, that’s on me :) Up charges shown on receipt. Not too bad for the amount of food.

The place was very hard to find and the burgers could have been a little more tasty. We were hungry so it dint matter as much but if you're a Lil hard to get to, a lil' out of the way? U need to provide a Lil' better tasting food for my money is all...

This place used to be great but over the past few years it’s gone down hill. They continually raise the prices, decreased the portion size, and even skimp on ingredients (single cheese on double cheeseburgers). The are extremely overpriced in general so their family meals were the only way to go but they keep hiking up their prices. They say support local business and I’d like to but they aren’t doing their part in the deal.

The food is decent, decent prices just horrible Location. It's hard to see off the main street, you will pass it up if you dont know exactly where it is. It is always changing ever few years to something new. Just not enough foot traffic for a business.

3 out of 5 at best. Very friendly service and clean Semus, the burgers are just too overcooked and saturated to compete with the likes of all the other Tommy's knockoffs. This is not meant to compete with in and out it's a whole different type of eating experience and there are many places like this most notably Norm's on Whittier Boulevard in Whittier that are five out of five in my book. However if you can find the place cuz it's sort of attached to the back end of a strip mall like a postage stamp that fell off a letter, then you certainly can find some other Alternatives which I'm sure judging by the smiles on other customer's faces exceed the scrump-dilly-icious factor of the burgers. Maybe I'll be back if I'm in this neck of the woods again maybe not

Order from door dash from their menu and was overcharged for one of the items.They do not have a steak sandwich dinner as listed!! Just ala cart sandwich. So ended up paying almost $2extra for the same thing.When I called the restaurant they had no satisfactory resolution and they did not compensate me for their mistake.Since I am a care giver for my daughter who has cancer and staying at city of hope I could not leave to go to VJS to resolve as staff suggested. Never again!!! Too many choices to deal with this kind of overcharge!!!

I use to go there but now they have new cooks and cashiers. The food doesn't taste the same, my fries tasted like they refried them just to warm them up, the cook was cutting chilli and our burgers were spicy guess he didn't wash his hands.

They are just RIP off place charging for lettuce wrap burger 1.69 plus tax for lettuce when you get free from all please to replace bun no onion rings or zucchini because she doesn't want to substitute for fries and upcharge. Never again step in this establishment

Noted we live about 7 mins away.

The food was ok what I didn’t like is how I paid 32 it’s my fault that I didn’t get a receipt and I should of I checked my bank account later on that day and I seen that my total was way different from what I paid it was 52 please get your receipt and double check your account.
