Had a beautiful brunch with friends today, served by the beautiful Oggi, she was a delight, great service and the food was amazing. The eggs Benedict was soo good . Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing lunch here after our registry wedding. They were able to accommodate a member of our party who is both ceoliac and lactose intolerant. The staff were so lovely and friendly. And all the food was delicious. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We came for Saturday brunch and it was fantastic. There were a lot of hen parties there and the vibe was certainly more of a party day drinking atmosphere. Just perfect. I got the steak and eggs and it was ideal. My wife got the fish and chips and it was a massive American sized portion. Crazy. The kids menu was great as well.

Had a great evening at house in Dublin for the bank holiday ! All the staff were great and very welcoming. Special mention to darragh who was serving us all night. He was really attentive and got us all our orders promptly and professionally. Really great personality and an absolute credit to House Dublin. Looking forward to our next trip to house!

We went for brunch and didn’t stay in the hotel. We had a lovely waitress serve us the other day. She didn’t tell us her name (I dont think so anyways) but she brought us so much laughter that morning for brunch. It was my bestfriends birthday weekend and she was stressed the morning of the brunch and was later than expected but she didn’t feel rushed or blamed. The waitress was lovely and made sure we were well taken care of and so did the rest of the team aswell. It was a quiet Sunday with a few large groups but we were made to feel as if we were the only ones there. I will 100/10 recommend! Also they do a singles night ;/

This hip, friendly restaurant is a fantastic place to go with friends, family or even for a work catchup. The price point and options are excellent and their quality never fails to deliver.

I was looked after by a delighted young lady who catered to all of my needs all night long, I would 100% return just to talk to this young girl... Rachel I will never forget your service and your personality. You made me feel like a real person and not just like another client. Would give 100% if I could!!!

I always have an incredible experience at House! From the moment you walk in, you are struck by the beautiful interior – stylish, warm, and inviting. The atmosphere alone is enough to make you want to stay awhile, but what truly sets this place apart is the amazing staff, everyone is such a vibe! Patricia is an absolute star – her cocktails are next-level, and she makes you feel so welcome with her friendly, engaging personality. You can tell she really loves what she does, and it shows in every drink she creates. And then there's Becia – always smiling, always upbeat, and her positive energy is contagious. She brings such a cheerful vibe to the whole place. Great service, friendly faces, and a gorgeous setting! Highly recommend!

I booked House (the garden area) for my niece's baby shower and even before I got there I knew that we were going to be well looked after. Nicola's communication beforehand made me feel in good hands. The welcoming friendly faces, the service and the food were exceptional. 10/10. Can't recommend this place enough... maybe next time, I'll get to stay in the hotel.

I recently photographed a wedding at The House Dublin and it was a fantastic experience. The venue has a great atmosphere, full of character and style, and works beautifully for weddings that feel relaxed but well looked after. From a photography point of view, there are lovely spaces throughout that flow naturally as the day unfolds. The staff were excellent on the day. Friendly, professional and very well organised without ever being intrusive. Everything ran smoothly which made a huge difference for the couple and for everyone working behind the scenes. Communication was clear and the team were more than happy to help when needed. I’d happily recommend The House Dublin to couples looking for a city wedding with personality and to fellow suppliers as well. A great venue with a strong, experienced team.

Where to start... we got married on Friday Dec 5th in Dublin Registry Office and had a reception dinner in House afterwards for 28 people. The place is absolutely magical!! It far exceeded our expectations and made our day so incredibly special. The staff are second to none, they made all our guests feel so welcome and comfortable, they couldn't do enough for us. The food was fantastic, all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the dinner. The area we had was perfect, with a little area to the side for photos where the lighting was stunning!! Our photos turned out amazing! The décor and aesthetics in House are beautiful, the lights, greenery, soft furnishings, made for an enchanting setting. We had a VIP area reserved in the nightclub where we were honestly treated like royalty! For anyone considering a Dublin City wedding (or any kind of party really) put House at the top of your list, you will NOT be disappointed!! Thank you so so so much to all the team at House for making our day one we will never forget!!

Gorgeous, clean and cosy rooms. Beautiful check in area with nice art work and a fireplace. Immediately felt warm and welcomed. Everyone was extremely helpful and booking was a smooth experience. Great breakfast and lattes downstairs. Everyone was so kind and eager to help. Kindly kept our luggage between check in/out times and luckily fulfilled our early check in request.

House was absolutely incredible — amazing food and service, especially by our waiter Diego! Diego took the time to explain the menu, offer great suggestions, and really made us feel welcome. He went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. We spent 17 days traveling all throughout Ireland and this was our favorite spot. Will absolutely be back again soon!! Thanks Diego for making memories with us! 10/10!!!

An absolutely fantastic venue. Myself and my best friend had a joint baby shower in the pink room. There were 15 of us and the service, the people, drinks and food were all incredible. We were able to bring our own decor: balloons, candles, etc and they were just so accommodating and helpful. Could not get over the food!! The arancini main course especially was out of this world, with the freshest of Vietnamese salads. Everyone was raving about their dishes. And their mocktails were top notch! Highly recommend if you’re looking for an event space, birthday, engagement party, baby shower etc. Thank you House!!

We used House Dublin as a venue for a media dinner. The Pink room, the food, and the atmosphere were all fantastic, and our guests had nothing but great things to say about the evening and the venue. A big shout-out to Diago, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout - he really made a difference. Thanks again to you and the team for helping make it such a memorable night.

We just celebrated a baby shower yesterday and had an amazing experience! The manager, Margaret, and her staff were absolutely fantastic - attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for our special occasion. The brunch was also really delicious - highly recommend! The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was top-notch. We'll definitely be back! 🌟🍴"

We booked House for lunch for 20 people, in celebration of a friend’s birthday. Everything was great! From the moment I reached out to the team to book to the moment we left, everything was perfect. Service was amazing, the staff were all fabulous, we really enjoyed the drinks and the food. It couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend and would absolutely go back!

The most spectacular Wedding at House Dublin! September 2025 Back in September 2024 we started our search for the perfect wedding venue in our hometown of Dublin. Our second venue on the list was House Dublin. To say they had us at hello is an understatement. From that first contact we knew this was going to be something very special. Nichola, the most fantastic Wedding Event Manager, took the reins and really listened to our ideas and vision for our celebration, provided guidance, suggestions and a plan very quickly came together. We chose to hire the entire venue for the day and all charming accommodation rooms booked also. Throughout the run up to the big day, we felt Nichola and her colleagues were part of the team, all invested in ensuring our wedding celebration was spectacular. A couple of months before we were invited for a tasting session where we would sample menus. We had the pleasure of meeting Neil and the incredible dining and bar staff who welcomed us and made us feel very much at home. The food was far beyond anything we could have anticipated, this was one serious foody extravaganza. We were served the most incredible dishes, every one of them a unique taste experience. Our excitement was heightened only by the incredible service we received from the most friendly team. The quality of the dishes were astounding, and considering the price points we were looking at for our wedding day, this completely blew us away! I cannot stress enough how good this food was. We were looking at about 150 guests, so making this a meal to remember was no small undertaking. The scene was set for the wedding of the decade!!! As plans progressed and we got closer to our big day, Nichola and all the team rallied around us to ensure no details were left to chance. Our vision for our ceremony and various musicians and bands came together seamlessly and nothing was too much trouble to accommodate. We opted to check in the evening before the celebration, and stayed a few extra nights also. From the time we moved in, and it really did feel like we moved in lol, we felt at home and were welcomed by all staff members. We felt very spoiled indeed. The support given to align a very large seating area to accommodate our guests and the tablescapes were simply beautiful. Our vendors were supported and House Staff ensured everything was in place. Our first viewing of the fully decorated venue was breathtaking and the day got better and better. The friendly smiles greeted us and our guests, drinks, canapés quickly followed. The dinner service was impeccable, everyone worked so hard to ensure guests were seated efficiently to commence. There was a real party atmosphere and the smiles and chatter of both guests and staff was heartwarming. And then the food, just WOW!!!!! It was simply divine. Every option, the most incredible flavours, everyone was blown away. This was truly the best. I cannot stress enough how impressed our guests were. But it doesn’t end there, we dined like kings, we danced the night away, enjoyed the bar immensely of course. We were treated to the most spectacular experience by absolutely every member of staff. And still it doesn’t end there, the next day we enjoyed superb breakfasts, gorgeous chats and laughs with all the staff and as we were also staying another night after we were made feel right at home. There was nothing we could have wanted for. We were sad to leave!!!! Everyone helped us by packing up all our boxes and bags and helped us move back out for want of a better phrase. We had the most fantastic day, few days really, and couldn’t have asked for a better start to our married life. So many to thank, in particular Nichola, Neil, Tony, Charlie and all the onsite staff. You are the best in the business and we cannot thank you enough. We are looking forward to many more opportunities to visit in the future. Thank you again, Jim and Carrie Conway xx

We had a surprise dinner for our daughter’s wedding here – everything was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and breakfast was a real treat. I would especially like to thank one waitress who showed exceptional attention and care to us throughout our stay – unfortunately, I didn’t get her name. Thank you to all the hotel staff for the warm atmosphere and for making our celebration so special! 💐

Visited with my partner for 2 nights. Lovely large room, large bed, beautiful view. The service was perfection, the breakfast was very nice and the coffee was great. Location made it easy to visit all over Dublin on foot. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Went for a brunch that a friend had won, food was delicious had the steak cooked perfectly, French toast that my friend had was also tasty. Got a free cocktail 🍸 they have a good cocktail list all very fancy. We were then given passes and drink tokens for the downstairs club that was hosting a early club night, had a reserved table music was great - the whole venue is lovely, tastefully decorated, so lovely in the evening with all the fairy lights, staff are also very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend going for either a day / night out and for the club.

This is an incredibly cute and chic restaurant.. The drinks are a delight, in taste and creation! Almost all of them are divine! The food is really good too, artfully crafted but the decor is just unbeatable. We asked them to close the roof because it was a chilly evening but even then, the lights and setting was just gorgeous.

Didn’t stay but came here for brunch and it was great. The space is cool. We were in the back area with a bright big space and a retractable roof. The staff are very attentive and calm. Food- Top class. Eggs Benedict is amazing, and the full breakfast is generous, one is enough for 2 people. As for the cocktails, tasteful and delicious. Loads going on, baby showers, birthdays etc. so a great busy vibe. We will be back.

We came from Canada and stopped in for a quick cocktail while we waited for our room at a different place to be ready, Mags was SO lovely! She wasn't even serving us, but she acknowledged us and gave us advice on our stay and recommendations. We made sure to visit two more times in our 3 day stay because of her and the ambiance. Diego was amazing, he was so personable and also gave us recommendations from the menu to what to check out in Dublin that he personally enjoyed. The food was amazing! I highly recommend the busy bee cocktail and we LOVED the salmon! We did have one lady on our last evening bring our bill to the table that said "just so you know, the tip isn't included", which took us back a bit. We tipped every time we were there as we do in Canada, but being told that the one time put a weird taste in our mouths. Especially when the lady only came to us twice on our last night. Still a must go as the restaurant is so quaint and lovely, the food and cocktails are tasty, and the staff are super friendly!

Our dining experience at House Dublin was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for the evening. But what truly made our night unforgettable was the impeccable service provided by Diego. Diego went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our meal was perfect. He treated us like royalty, attending to our every need with grace and attentiveness. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot-on, leading us to enjoy some of the best dishes we’ve ever had. Each course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, clearly made with the finest ingredients and a lot of love. Diego's attention to detail and genuine care for our experience made the evening even more special. We left feeling not only satisfied but truly pampered. House Dublin is now our top choice for special occasions, and we can’t wait to return. A huge thank you to Diego for making our night so memorable and his manager for his kindness.

I booked the junior suite and it was very spacious and modern for great value. I definitely would put it up there with some 4 star rooms I’ve stayed in. I have previously stayed in the smaller rooms, but considering the difference in price is not much, I would definitely book the junior suite. Staff were great too, very welcoming in the hotel and bar.

My daughter had her baby shower here a few days ago and we had a fabulous day. We were a group of 31 at 4 tables. The staff were lovely, professional and so attentive. We each had a delicious three course meal with a great selection to choose from. The decor is bright and colourful, and there is a lovely relaxing atmosphere to the place. It was my first visit but definitely won’t be my last!! Thank you.

I stayed at this hotel from Sunday - Wednesday and there were no parties downstairs so it was quiet. The room/bathroom was very clean and the staff are really kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Dublin center. The restaurant and bar are beautifully decorated and the food was excellent as well. They made us feel welcome, seen and at home, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Yesterday we went to House to celebrate finishing college, and I just want to say thank you for the amazing service! Sergio took care of us from the moment we arrived and made everything so easy and enjoyable. Also, a big shoutout to Fabricio at the bar — he was fantastic! We had a great time, and my classmates really enjoyed it too, which was super important to me. Thank you again for making our night so special!

We went for a dinner on a Tuesday. Not that busy. Food was good. But too pricey. We celebrated our friends bday. They have a bottle of complimentary Prosecco and cake. That’s was good gesture. If you ask me will I go back in the next few months. Nop. But it’s a good place for a corporate gathering. They have a good ambience

The House restaurant left a lasting impression with its exceptional dining experience. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was inviting and elegant, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The menu featured a creative fusion of flavors, showcasing a perfect balance of innovation and tradition. Each dish was a masterpiece, meticulously prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The presentation was as delightful to the eyes as the flavors were to the palate. Standout dishes included [specific dish], which was bursting with unique flavors and expertly cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable, with knowledgeable staff who offered excellent recommendations and ensured a seamless dining experience. The attention to detail, from the table settings to the timing of each course, was commendable. Overall, The House restaurant exceeded expectations in every aspect. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in exquisite cuisine and impeccable service. Whether for a special occasion or a casual dining experience, The House restaurant delivers excellence at every level.

Amazing bar/restaurant/coffee shop but the rooms even though they were clean, were small, with nowhere to hang clothes or leave luggage and sink water was either cold or hot. Do not stay at the hotel if you want to sleep and get some rest. One of the noisiest places I’ve ever stayed at and it wasn’t even close to the center of the town.Staff was amazing!Excellent people.

Went to the restaurant for Sunday brunch in the sun labelled as an “experience”, staff attendance very lacking, with most seemed more interested in setting up a later event than serving the very few tables that were in, we were served by approximately 4-5 different staff as opposed to one looking after a table. Was not checked on once, only to clear glasses and plates. Food was very good and decor always saves the day. Been here many times and I will be back, I just hope next time when there’s exactly 3 tables in the place and double the amount of staff, we can get more attentive service.

Company event. Food was amazing. Venue is similar concept to Diceys. Male staff cheeky, unhelpful and it felt they just didn't want to be there. Hostess was welcoming, professional and obliging. Bottom line, won't be back.

Fire alarm went off (it was broken for 1 hour at 6 in the morning with no apology or refund from the hotel), no cleaning provided (surprising for a 3-star accommodation) and wrong key initially provided when we arrived during the night. Clean room and nice staff though! UPDATE: I reached out to the manager based on this review more than 2 weeks ago and they have still not responded to me.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t fully meet expectations. Several of my friends found their dishes overly salty, which made it hard to enjoy. I had the steak — it was actually quite good in terms of flavor and cooked well, but the portion was surprisingly small for the price. Service was decent, but overall, the value just wasn’t there. Might give it another try, but not in a hurry.

Everything would have been fine if we weren’t above a night club; if you want to sleep don’t stay here. Music plays LOUD until 2:30am, then you can hear after hours music starting at 3:00am from another bar close by…

L
Lena Maas

A lovely place, central, nice, clean rooms BUT and I hate to say this, me and my partner had one of the worst nights staying in the hotel. Noise from the club downstairs, noise of drunk people from the club on our floor, noise from the street and next door room and to top it off the fire alarm going off at all random times of night because apparently people were smoking in areas they were not supposed to be. So no sleep for 180€ a night. Not great.

Gone downhill massively. Used to be the in place on a Friday and Saturday night, always busy, not cheap for food but was normal good service. We made a booking for two for dinner at 9:15pm on a Friday, when we arrived there was no floor staff to welcome or ask about our booking or anything, we walk to the back of the building where we normally eat and had booked, there was a function on and nobody in the front bar which is usually busy, maybe two or three customers, atmosphere was dead I went to the barman and asked him what the story is regarding our booking for dinner and he never came back to me, he then sent someone else over to me who said follow me so we started to follow him. He ran on ahead and started serving another table of three then walked out through another door and around the bar back to where he lost us, we said this is useless and we need to see a manager. Then manager came over and said he was busy in the hotel and we have no booking but we can sit inside and have dinner, with not atmosphere at all this was not an option to pay high prices for food and drink and sit in a large bar on our own. We used to go here a lot for birthday party’s , Christmas party’s, staff party’s good nights out, but we won’t be back again as there’s no atmosphere in the place anymore customer wise or staff wise.

House Dublin has utterly failed on noise control! Their constant loud music, especially outdoors, completely ruins the peace for all nearby residents. The noise reaches all the way down to Hatch Street! Come on — people need to study and start work early on Mondays and every day! Nobody wants to hear your booming music through the night and day. If you cannot afford proper soundproofing, then do not play loud outdoor music! This place shows zero social responsibility despite countless complaints from neighbors affected by the noise. Horrible experience for anyone trying to live nearby peacefully.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The price was $160 per night. Let me start with the good things (don’t worry, this part will be short): * Great location, everything is nearby, and the airport bus stops just about 100 meters from the hotel. * The rooms are clean. * There’s a good restaurant downstairs (but I’m here to review the hotel, not the restaurant). Boom boom boom, that’s it… Now the bad — or maybe even terrible for $160: * There is a bar/restaurant downstairs with loud music, and you can hear the bass even on the 3rd floor. For us it was tolerable, but if you’re staying on lower floors or if peace and quiet are important to you — this place is not for you. * The heating in the room did not work. I mentioned this to the staff a couple of times, they checked it, saw that it doesn’t work — and that was the end of the story. It was around 5–7°C outside at night and in the morning, not much warmer during the day either, so imagine how uncomfortable it is to stay in such cold conditions. And this costs $160 — usually discomfort comes for free, but not here. * There is no proper lighting in the room, just a few weak night lamps. It’s quite dark if you need to work on a laptop or have poor eyesight, or even if you just want to read a book. And this is $160! * The water pressure is terribly weak. Normally it wouldn’t be a big issue, but since the room was freezing, taking a shower became a real challenge — you’re literally shaking from the cold every time. And this is $160! Ps: We’ll see how the hotel handles communication with its guests — we did expect at least some kind of compensation for the discomfort we paid for.

J
Julie Z.

Restaurant is absolutely terrible- can’t tell if staff was serious when I ordered toast and was told I don’t need that. Also was informed I should have said I was staying at the hotel so I could get a special price, “oh well, too late”. If this is hospitality, I don’t want it. Trash place.

Went to retrieve a lost phone here and was treated incredibly rudely by the manager. We went the next day and the place was quiet, but the manager would not give us the time of day. We knew the phone was on the premises as that's where the find my phone signal was broadcasting from. The manager said she gets over a hundred lost phones a night (scarcely believable) and that find my phone often lies (was updating live). Fobbed us off by asking what it looked like and she said she didn't have any like that in lost and found. Presumably if there are 100s of phones a night lost, there should be several thousand in lost and found. I find it unlikely that she would be able to remember them all. Basically told us to have a look around and walked away. Would absolutely not recommend this place with this level of service.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my graduation, a milestone that was meant to be one of the happiest days of my life. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. One month before the event, I visited the venue with my godmother and everything was organised smoothly by a wonderful staff member. Based on that experience — and the fact that my godmother had her wedding there — I felt confident in my decision. However, on the night itself, the approach was completely different. Although I understood operational requests (such as seating arrangements to speed up orders), the way they were handled felt passive-aggressive and unnecessarily confrontational. I was repeatedly addressed in front of my 40 guests, asked to sit down publicly to “explain the problem,” and made to feel uncomfortable on my own celebration night. There was also confusion about one of the three tables I had reserved being rebooked due to Valentine’s Day — something that had not been clearly communicated beforehand. While I was flexible about it, the way it was addressed was embarrassing and stressful. Several of my guests complained to me about how they were spoken to. Instead of feeling welcomed and celebrated, I felt judged and exposed. My family had travelled to be there, and I ended up spending the night anxious rather than enjoying the moment. After my godmother intervened and spoke to management, the issue was resolved and we were allowed to keep the tables — which shows it could have been handled differently from the start. Unfortunately, by then, the damage was done. I left early and did not continue my celebration as planned. I had high expectations based on recommendations, but sadly, this was not the experience delivered.

So disappointed with this place. Myself and my family travelled back to Ireland from the US in July to see my family. My dad put 1,000 euro down for food at this place so the whole family could meet up for a reunion. We were told that we the conservatory from 2pm till 7pm We arrived at 2 and had a few drinks before the food arrived. Food and service was pretty good. The problem arose when we went to the bar to buy a drink at 4:30 and the barman was cashing up and told us he was about to close the restaurant. He was so rude anout it and told us tough luck oretty much. This is how we were treated after putting 1000 euro down for food and who knows how much on drinks as there was around 30 of us Got 2.5 hours to see everyone instead of the 5 hours we were promised After that experience i would avoid the place like the plague and would warn everyone off of going Scammers of the highest order and super rude too

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience at this venue during a recent company event. When I went to collect my coat, which had been left on a chair, I found it completely soaked due to a leak from the air conditioning above. I couldn’t wear it home, which forced me to take a taxi — something I hadn’t planned or budgeted for. To make matters worse, the coat is new and now looks damaged. I’ll have to bring it to a professional cleaner to try to restore it. The event itself was lovely and well-organized by our company, but the venue should seriously address issues like leaking equipment. This kind of oversight creates unnecessary stress and expense for guests, and it really put a damper on what was otherwise a great evening.

Unacceptable Customer Service and Lack of Professionalism I had a deeply disappointing experience during a visit to this venue on Friday, 25th July at 22:38. When my payment card temporarily failed to process, a member of the bar staff responded in an entirely inappropriate and unprofessional manner. In front of other patrons and my guest, he stated, “If you don’t have money, why do you order?” — a comment that was both disrespectful and humiliating. I subsequently submitted a formal complaint via email to [email protected] and expect the management to take this matter seriously and seek appropriate disciplinary action. Such behavior reflects poorly on the establishment’s standards of customer service. I hope steps will be taken to ensure no other customer is treated in such a manner.
