So many delicious gluten free options here. We loved it! I got the salad and the gluten free brownie dessert, and it was my favorite meal in Dublin. I am so appreciative of restaurants that go out of their way to have excellent GF options. We will definitely come back here when we return to Dublin.
a Dublin autumn evening, I didn't know where to go and I find this place. A really nice girl welcomes us, the owner really nice. Needless to say, I think it is the best meat eaten in Dublin ever (specially chicken). I'm Italian and I don't think I've ever eaten something so good in Italy, perfect quality price. My compliments guys, I'll advertise you with my friends. PS: location top 🔝🔝🔝
Really tasty roast chicken - so simple but so satisfying. We ordered the half roast chicken along with side of chips and sweet potato fries. Everything was really tasty and the portion was more than sufficient for two moderately hungry people. It took a good 25 mins for our order to get to the table but the taste more than made up for this. I’ll definitely go back again!
Yes, yes and hell to the yes... This place exceeds where Nando's fails. Had the buffalo wings platter and the feta salad... It was frikkin amazing tbf. Intimately sized venue with communal seating, which gives you the chance to speak to fellow tourists and locals. The service was great, the waitress was lovely and friendly and the food... Piping hot, served in a timely manner and it didn't disappoint 🤤🤤🤤🤤. I will definitely visit here again when next in Dublin. Can't wait to try other menu selections. Highly recommended.❤️
We hadn't been here in a long long time. We used to love their chicken wings, which were particularly tasty and just too many to finish easily. Because it was a bit out of our way we ended up opting for other places. Until few days ago when we were looking for a healthier chicken rotisserie and this place came to mind. Very happy we had that thought as the chicken was very soft, well cooked and quite tasty. The quantity was less overwhelming than I expected, which scored as a positive thing to me on that day. I shared a portion of sweet potato fries. I usually don't like them too much but these ones were quite good. Unexpected highlight: in a moment where all restaurants seems to have gone crazy with their prizes, Camden Rotisserie seems to have kept their menu at reasonable level. Almost pre pandemic. Will definitely come back!
Some of the best chicken you'll get in the city. Wings, tenders , burgers , loaded fries, nachos, onion rings. Has a bit of everything . Their spicebag special is excellent too The buffalo sauce is excellent , the beef mince used in the nachos and loaded fries is loaded with flavour. Tenders are seasoned and crispy , and the brownie is to die for (coming from a man who's not big on dessert) Some of the nicest onion rings I've had too. Great spot
Camden rotisserie is a very nice little restaurant, I've tried the beef burger with extra avocado and it was very good, the buns are really bringing quality to the burger, it was a nice surprise, especially considering the the affordable prices. The staff is also super nice and friendly, recommend it.
Camden Rotisserie is an absolute gem that delivers a dining experience far beyond expectations. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, lively, and inviting — the kind of place where you immediately know you’re in for something special. The food is nothing short of phenomenal. The Louisiana Style Burger deserves its own round of applause — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and layered with that spicy Southern kick that keeps you coming back for more. Every bite bursts with flavour and texture, from the tender meat to the crisp toppings and soft, toasted bun. It’s easily one of the best burgers in Dublin. And then there are the nachos — a masterpiece in their own right. Generously loaded with melted cheese, spicy jalapeños, and fresh salsa, they strike the perfect balance between indulgent and satisfying. It’s the kind of dish that disappears quickly because everyone at the table keeps reaching for “just one more.” The service is friendly and attentive without ever feeling rushed, and the overall vibe makes it ideal for both casual dinners and small celebrations. Camden Rotisserie combines comfort food with culinary finesse — a rare combination that makes it one of the city’s most consistently impressive spots. Highly recommended!
It was one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Dublin so far. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. The burger she had was really delicious, but I especially loved the Chicken Wings — they were amazing! We’d definitely come back just to have them again. Thank you for everything. We also really liked the overall decor — even the glasses looked great. The Ginger Beer was fantastic too. We’ll definitely be back very soon!
Great spot. I highly recommend it. The restaurant was aesthetically pleasing. The food was delicious. The brothers running the place were welcoming and kind. I am coming back. 🔥🐓💫
WOW! AMAZING FOOD!!!! Visiting Dublin and this place was recommended, for two we ordered the whole chicken, buffalo wings, cheese-garlic and bacon chips, coleslaw. All was incredible, the chicken was so jucy! The venue is cosy and we felt very comfortable and welcomed. Come to England ;)
Seriously good grilled chicken - exceeded expectations. Moist, crispy skin - perfection on a plate. The chicken wings slathered in sauce of your choice (buffalo was recommended and did not disappoint) were excellent as well. Did a takeaway - fantastic stuff and would highly recommend.
This place was amazing!!!! I got the Cajun chicken wrap and it was sweet with a hint of spicy! The onion rings were also delectable. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Menu has a great range with even better prices. If you're a student (especially at griffith) this is the place to go when you haven't ate, it's late, and you're not cooking. First stop on Camden. A1 steak sauce! Would and will eat here again!
The chicken was tender and tasty, the vegetable soup was delicious, the French fries were ok. The service was good, they’re so nice and kind.
Great chicken and great sides. Got a half rotisserie chicken with rice, mash and onion rings. Everything was excellent, maybe with the only exception on the gravy. Great value too with vegan and vegetarian options. To try
Perfect location in Camden street. Food was nice and fast. Also the staff very kind.
Such a great place. We went for a late night snack and really enjoyed it!
Exceptional food, exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff.
Best chicken I‘ve ever had. Visited from germany and it was a great experience. The host was super nice and the whole experience is worth it.
Wonderful dinner. Staff very attentive, food delicious, service great. Highly recommend.
Great spot for casual dining. Came here with a few friends a few weeks back and we all loved it. Small enough spot so it can get busy and be a bit tight but that helps the atmosphere. Needless to say the chicken is the star of the show but there are a few other options. Service was great, especially the manager who was keen to check and make sure all was good throughout the evening. Will be back
Best roasted chicken in town. Super juicy, fresh and delicious flavor.
A feast for a king! Had an amazing experience in this restaurant. I used to love dropping into Bobo’s after work on the way to a gig in Whelans and since Bobo’s disappeared, Camden Rotisserie has become the go to. In fact I wish I had given this place a chance years ago. On our last visit, John Paul, one of the brothers who owns the restaurant welcomed us and remembered our name even though we never booked on our 3 other visits. He’s like an old fashioned maitre d who is full of stories and conversation. He even let me pour my own pint of Guinness on this visit. For starters we split the Nachos and Onion Rings for starters. So tempted by the chicken skewers (being in a chicken restaurant), however let’s leave that for mains. Nachos were perfectly cheesy and my request for extra jalepenos was more than catered for. The onion rings perfectly crispy rather than the sometimes soggy ones you can get served. For mains I got the Louisiana burger - absolutely love my hot food and this hit the spot. Herself is in training (seems like she always is), so she went with the meat platter from the low carb menu. It’s 100% gluten free also. A great dish with steak, chicken skewers and a chicken fillet. All protein. I’m actually jealous now of her dish as I write this. All in all, great service, amazing food and a couple of new regulars I believe.
This place has been in our area for a long time and has always been consistently brilliant. Wings are the best! Tried their spice box tonight and it was tops. Can’t fault the staff or the food
This is best place to get something tasty to eat in chicken related chicken is cooked slowly so they're not so dry 100% recommended
I absolutely love this place. A great place with good atmosphere and good music. The food here is amazing. I have tried almost everything and trust me they never fail to deliver. I like most of my food spicy so I usually order anything with the buffalo sauce on the side and Wow! Mouth watering I tell you. When it comes to the dessert, thee best.
Chicken was good but was a fairly small in size and not as thick as I would have wanted for a chicken burger. Would like to bite into a thick juicy piece of chicken. Sweet potato fries was nice and crispy and was a generous serving. Chicken tenders would have been nicer if they were chunkier.
Tried Camden Rotisserie with high hopes, but it was a mixed experience. The traditional half rotisserie chicken was disappointing — it tasted like it had been reheated from the day before: dry, tough, and only saved (partially) by the sauce that covered it. Definitely not fresh, and not what you’d expect from a place that specializes in rotisserie. On the bright side, the Buffalo Burger was a winner — full of flavor and well-balanced. I’d absolutely recommend giving that a try. The chicken wings were also very good, crispy and flavorful, though I wouldn’t call them the best on the market. One major downside: all the chicken portions felt too small, and the quality of the poultry didn’t feel premium — which it really should be at these prices. Also, they were missing a few beers listed on the menu, which was frustrating. The space itself is small, tidy, and a bit worn, but the old posters and decor give it a nice nostalgic charm. Overall, some things impressed, but they need to raise the bar on freshness and quality if they want to stand out in Dublin’s crowded food scene.
The spices in the spicy bag is impressive, a little hard to stop eating. The nachos can pair well with the fried chicken. The boneless fried chicken was a little too dry for my liking. Wings are better, recommend the barbecue sauce. The Dirty Burger is satisfying, if the bun can be better if it’s heated well
Ordered a spice bag delivery after being targeted on instagram. Have to say, it may be the best spice bag I've had yet. The spice had the perfect heat. The salt was well-balanced and not overpowering. The curry dip was flavourful and the perfect consistency for dipping - not too runny and not gloopy. The chips were still crispy. The veg were well cooked and well portioned and not over stuffed with onions. Chicken was also well cooked and breaded perfectly. Only complaint was that the curry sauce didn't actually make it to us. It was opened and spilled all over the container. Not sure if it was the pack job, the handling, or the trip over in the Deliveroo bag, but any way, it didn't make it to us. Would definitely order again based on flavour alone, but would want the dish to arrive intact as ordered.
Very very nice food, staff and ambience. Tried two wraps - cajun chicken and chicken schnitzel. Both were very tasty. However, the quantity could've been a little more considering the price. Also, the seating arrangement is very close so it can be a little uncomfortable. Nevertheless, great place to visit!
Nice alternative to fried chicken. Moistly cooked chicken slightly salty but ok for me as I like salt. Very attentive staff and pretty reasonably priced.
The food is for sure a 5/5. Chicken is great, well seasoned and well cooked - and the sauces are good too. The dining area isn't anything special and doesn't match how good the food is. This place does a ton of delivery, and that seems to be the focus for the staff.
I ordered the chicken schnitzel in a wrap and it was only okay. It tasted good but there was barely any chicken in it, two strips of breaded chicken and I wouldn't consider it as schnitzel. I also had the chicken tenders which tasted nice, but there was no 'wow' factor in it. Although, the sweet potato fries were very good, nice and crispy, and the serving was generous.
Decent spot for chicken every way imaginable: on a ciabatta roll, in a wrap, in a burger, on a salad, and rotisserie. The rotisserie is juicy and has subtle flavor. The breaded chicken breast burger was pretty dry. The house salad is on the small side. Hand cut fries are as good as you'll get. The onion rings are heavy on the batter and light on the onion. Bottled beer and wine also available.
We tried it nonetheless after finding this location by accident and being wary of the nearly deserted establishment on a Saturday night. We succeeded. The restaurant is modest and faces the street; a nice waitress attends to the few tables, and the most of the menu items feature chicken. The burger and the dishes are decent, but there are undoubtedly better options in the Camden Street neighbourhood. If it occurs, we will come back.
Great buffalo sauce but the wings were a tad on the dry side - not quite as good as Hooters or Nandos. I ordered mash potato as my side but it was a little flavourless so I had to order an additional buffalo sauce to give it a little ompf. Maybe I just chose the wrong thing....
Warning! Today I visited this place. It was my second time. I returned because the customer service was excellent the first time. The girl who serves there is the key to why many people still return. Today, the service was terrible. The two guys—one of them is a cook, apparently—provided the worst customer service I've ever seen. Extremely vulgar, ordinary, and totally irritating. From the moment I entered, the guy seemed like he wanted to attack me. Many diners noticed that he spoke to me in a very rude tone. It really ruined my meal. If I'm going to visit this place, try to get the waitress and you'll be well served. I'll never set foot in this place again. Terrible customer service! As if that weren't enough, I ordered a couple of Caesar salads, and literally, it was lettuce that was poorly chopped, dry and wilted around the edges, with mayonnaise spread all over it, as if trying to hide the shameful salad. It didn't have a single bit of dressing. Absolutely disgusting, and it was €23 for that crap. Be very careful and don't let any bad service go unnoticed. Report it, so we can help other customers.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The staff in the kitchen seemed unprofessional, laughing loudly and making a lot of noise during service. The food felt like fast food and the quality didn’t match the price. The nachos were clearly from a bag, the chicken wings tasted frozen and were not good at all. Overall, it’s not worth what you pay for.
Ordered for delivery. The chicken tenders were so overcooked they were rubber and inedible. The mashed potato had a weird awful after taste. Couldn't eat them. Genuinely tasted like they were instant mash. The prices are far too overpriced also. In a place that is supposed to be known for it's chicken it tells me everything I need to know when they can't even properly cook a chicken tender. Won't be ordering again.
Mediocre food. It arrived cold and the chicken was like plastic due to having sat waiting for the delivery guy to pick it up. When I called to complain the staff member was at best defensive and rude. We would have expected a seasoned restaurant to deal with the situation better.
This place is horrible. The owner tried to beat me up inside the restaurant because I asked him if he could turn down the music a little bit. I was with my whole family and he was saying bad names to my grandma!!!!! She is 90 years old. This place is desgusting!
