Opinions de Pearl Brasserie Dublin
Stumbled upon this restaurant for a walk-in dinner. Service was amazing - from the front door to the last served dish. Steak was incredibly tasty and seared to perfection. The complimentary mango sorbet with mint as a palette cleanser was a great touch. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice dinner in Dublin.
We were recommended this restaurant by a friend of ours who knows his food and boy was he right !! A truly fantastic venue ! We had the surprise 6 course tasting menu and every course was an absolute treat ! Along with each dish I had the 60€ wine flight which is a total bargain! The wines were chosen extremely well giving a lovely harmony of food & wine combinations ! The staff were amazing, explaining all the dishes and wines beautifully! Every one of them is a credit to the operation and a delight to talk to ! I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our visit ! Don’t miss out if you are in Dublin, book a table and you won’t be disappointed !!
My wife and I had a fantastic meal at the Pearl Brasserie. The food was delicious, and all of the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Our waiter made sure to look after my wife's allergies, making sure that everything was checked, and being clear about what items on the menu wouldn't be suitable. He also made a fantastic wine suggestion which was delicious with the very rich pigeon dish. The atmosphere was absolutely spot on. A nice level of background music, and tables nicely spaced out. This is a lovely place to go as a treat or for a celebration. I would highly recommend it!
My husband and I had a really nice fine dining experience here at Pearl Brasserie to celebrate our first St Paddy's day together in Ireland. Food and drinks were amazing. The staff were so nice and attentive throughout the entire time, and this place has just the perfect ambience for a fine dining experience. Would highly recommend this place to anybody who wants to enjoy their meals & fine dining experience!
Service was amazing, the restaurant has a great atmosphere, the food came out super quick and the food was AMAZING!! I got the prawns to start (I usually hate prawns and loved everything about these), chicken (didn’t think chicken could taste this good) & yummy Christmas pudding!! To finish off i got an after eight cocktail and it was sooo good! Amazing
Great food and service. Very good vegetarian & vegan menus too! We had our own snug with table for 8 people. With many of these private tables in cosy little rooms off the main dining areas it can make for a very intimate meal. Quite expensive but worth it for the right occasion.
A wonderful evening spent at the Pearl Brasserie. The staff were highly attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Special mention to Katherine and Tonge for going the extra mile and making our evening so special. We decided to go for the six course tasting menu which was absolutely fantastic as a whole, we were treated to Crab, Duck, Turbot and Veal followed by cheese and a tart for dessert. We were a little bit thrown by the cheese board in the menu, as we were expecting a Beef course, or another constructed dish, this is our only feedback, as while the cheese was very good, it didn't quite fit for us. Our favourite was the Duck Foie Gras, just incredible and really stole the evening for us. As the taster menu is blind, I won't spoil any more, but we left full and delighted. The wine list is extensive and there is something for everyone, we chose white wine by the glass to start, an Albarino and Chablis, followed by a bottle of Gamay to accompany the meal. We were delighted with our private booth by the fish tank, the restaurant as a whole was beautiful with lots of character and style. We would certainly like to return to try the Al a Carte in the future. Apologies for having no coins for Pierre, perhaps next time. Thank you Pearl Brasserie
Food was good, interesting Asian influenced French preparation. Service was excellent but the back room our large group was in was a little to warm for comfort - can’t complain as we walked in as a group of 8 and were given great service and food was delish - everyone walked out happy. Pass on the pineapple dessert, the appetizers all were amazing, the fish and lamb 4 ways were both a hit.
Amazing spot and worthy of the Michelin star or guide they have. Amazing service and food, the duck pate Foie gras was one of the best plates of food I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. Great venue too with very upscale and luxurious vibes
Awesome, my favourite restaurant in Dublin. Food was outstanding as always, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, will be back as soon as I can!
Really nice place and really nice service. We went for the 6 courses tasting menu with matching wines and everything was absolutely amazing. The staff was really friendly and making sure that we were happy all the time. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone!
Really nice restaurant with something for everyone on the menu. It took me few years to finally get there, but I was definitely not disappointed. I've had duck fois gras for starters, beef fillet for mains and lemon tartlet for dessert and I have to say they were all delicious. My companion's crab was also spot on.Also they bake their own bread! Wine list also very good and not too expensive.
The food was extremely good. The service was spot on, very friendly and attentive. The layout of the restaurant is very good to have a private dining experience without feeling claustrophobic.
What can I say that hasn't been said already? Unbelievable food and top class service! Food was genuinely tasty, unlike some other Michelin restaurants which focus on presentation and fancy combinations that don't necessarily work but sound fancy. Portions are generous too (for a Michelin). Staff genuinely the best in game. Would highly recommend to anyone!
Highly recommend Had THE nicest lunch in Pearl Brasserie today. The staff were very warm friendly and highly professional. The decor is exquisite very relaxing but beautiful. Loved the artwork. Attention to detail in all areas. The food was beautifully presented and every morsel divine. The beef main course was the nicest Ive eaten. The crème brûlée- 🍮 let’s say there was none left :) yum! It was a roundy birthday for one of our party and we all had a memorable lunch together. Look forward to returning very soon.
Amazing experience in this great restaurant. The room is quiet and smart. Service simply perfect. The food is perfect. Fresh delicious well cooked.. Nothing to say : goooo
The best steak I've had in Dublin. From walking down the stairs the service and people were so welcoming. Had 3 course for a wedding anniversary. Music was relaxing. They sang for 2 birthdays.
We had a great lunch here in the heart of Dublin. Opting for the lunch menu that was very affordable considering this was a fine dining restaurant at a hotel, we weren't disappointed at all. Service was attentive and the food was yummy. Presentation was great as well.
What a wonderful restaurant. I took my mum here for her birthday and the staff couldn't have been nicer to us. We got a wonderful little booth next to the aquarium and it was magic. The food was exceptional and the lunch menu was very good value - €29 for 2 courses and €35 for 3. They also have a vegetarian menu as well as a vegan menu. I would return in a heartbeat.
Monday night any one of the only places open in Dublin and the place was packed but with lots of little nooks and crannies so it didn't feel oppressive. The staff were great and the food was wonderful. We had the tasting menu and every dish was inventive and very tasty. You could easily walk by and miss it as the entrance is below ground and it is slightly out of the very centre of Dublin but it's a treasure well worth seeking out....
Everything was outstanding! Food was out of this world, the service was brilliant, really genuine and engaging. The waitress was also really knowledgeable on all the menu options. Can’t recommend this place enough, also prices are very reasonable for what you get!
I definitely recommend this place for a fine dinner. The staff was super polite and nice. The menu was short, but with very good quality and elaboration. The chef did a great job. We had the crab, the beef, and the duck: all was really good. The desserts menu should be a bit larger, but the crème brûlée was excellent too. Cozy place, great location. 5 stars ⭐️
We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was incredible. 11 out of 10. The service and food was exceptional. Would thoroughly recommend.
Food, service and atmosphere was excellent! Oh and the wine! I will definitely be coming back here. Our waiter Marko was very attentive and never too far away.
Had a fantastic anniversary meal here on a Saturday evening and the staff could not have been more attentive and friendly. I requested one of their intimate booths which, thankfully, was free on the night of my booking and they even went as far as bringing their delicious creme brulee desert with 'Happy Anniversary' piped in chocolate around the edge. The food was delicious and the Pinot Grigio we got to match was equally as nice. Would definitely recommend Pearl Brasserie if you're celebrating a special occasion or just want to have an extra special meal with someone.
n the heart of Dublin, there's a culinary gem that stands out as the city's best brasserie. From the moment you step through its doors, you're greeted with an ambiance that exudes elegance and charm. The beautiful decor, a blend of classic and contemporary styles, sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The menu is a testament to the culinary artistry of the chefs, offering a diverse range of dishes that cater to every taste. Whether you're a fan of classic brasserie fare or more adventurous in your culinary preferences, this place has something to please everyone. The staff here are not just attentive; they are genuinely passionate about ensuring your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. To complement the delectable dishes, their wine selection is a wine lover's dream. In summary, this brasserie is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. The combination of amazing food, dedicated staff, beautiful decor, great value for money, and an extensive wine list makes it an unparalleled dining destination in Dublin. When you visit, you're in for a splendid culinary journey that will leave you craving a return visit.
Lovely decor and service is another level. Staff were attentive and helpful. Price is valued for service and qualitty of food. Tasting menu should be tried for sure.
Simply amazing. Sublime professional service and plates of food that were pure perfection. Had tasting menu with matching wines.
Amazing. My girlfriend booked one of the private dining booths, offering a very preferential experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, and conducted themselves with charm. The food was exceptional. Attention to detail and quality notable throughout. As a chocolate lover, my only real quarrel would be in that of the desert. It was tiny. However, this would not deter me from coming back.
We were sat at the counter (it was totally fine with us) and our waiter was so nice and wanted to seat us at a table. It truly made us felt taken care of. We were sat really close to the bar so we could see the barman work which was great. All of the staff was friendly (most of them are French so I loved being able to speak with them) we discussed with the barman (also very friendly !) The cocktail I had was delicious and all of the food was as well. The quality justifies the price ! Everything was absolutely perfect.
A beautiful place with excellent customer service! All the staff were super friendly and thoughtful, making me feel truly special. The food was amazing — every dish was so delicious and interesting, full of unique flavors and creativity. It was an unforgettable experience for my birthday! 😊😊
It’s definitely been one of the best Christmas dinners I have had so far! The ambience was great, service was outstanding, food and wine were exquisite. Every bite was just so good and the service was so so good! 💛 Hats off to everyone behind the scene!!!
What an amazing experience! A bit unassuming from outside, but once in, a charming, romantic spot. From the moment we got there, we felt special. The tables were intimate and servers knowledgeable. We chose the 6 course surprise menu and it did not disappoint! If only we lived in Dublin, this spot would quickly become a favorite!
Outstanding service: genuinely kind, highly professional, and extremely attentive. Bread was offered twice without asking, the butter was absolutely lovable, and the staff made us feel truly cared for throughout the evening. The appetizers and dessert were particular highlights, while the overall quality of the food was refined and well executed. We were seated in what we jokingly called “the anus room”, thanks to the chandelier’s unmistakable shape: an unexpected but amusing design detail that made the experience even more memorable. A very enjoyable fine-dining experience overall.
My new favourite restaurant in Dublin! The food was full of flavour. So so delicious. Staff was incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu. I loved knowing details about the cooking process and ingredients used. Great atmosphere. Felt a little cramped as was there on a romantic date but overall a 5 star experience. Will definitely be dining here again! Also the best creme brulee out there!
We visited after making a reservation to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We were guided to a private room-style table, and from the lighting and atmosphere to the staff’s service, the first impression was excellent. All the dishes were even better than we expected, and we were especially impressed by how every staff member acknowledged and took care of my wife’s special day. If anyone is looking for a great restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere in Dublin, I would recommend this place without hesitation.
We celebrated a memorable birthday dinner at Pearl Brasserie, and every dish was an absolute delight. The experience was truly exceptional, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel so welcome. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning—this restaurant is a solid 10/10!
A Memorable Birthday Dinner – Highly Recommended! I recently took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner, and from the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Sabrina, whose friendly greeting made us feel right at home. Every staff member on the floor acknowledged us, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance was wonderful—elegant yet cozy, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. Our waiters, Titouan and Kunal, were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail was just right. The food was simply outstanding—each dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The dessert was just as impressive, the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. A special thank you to all the staff who sang Happy Birthday to us—it was such a thoughtful touch and made the night even more special! It was truly a memorable dinner, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, a warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!
I had waited far too long to revisit Pearl Brasserie, a mistake I won't repeat. From beginning to end, it was an exceptional experience; both the service and the food were remarkable. The cuisine blends French techniques with Asian influences. The Bluefin tuna exemplifies this; every bite, bursting with flavours, was exquisite. I was delighted to have the pigeon again, and it truly met my expectations. This dish will remain in my thoughts for a long time. I look forward to my return.
We went to Pearl on Saturday 13th December for our Christmas outing. As usual, outstanding service, beautiful food and wine. One of our favourite restaurants by a mile. Superb!
Many thanks to all at Pearl Brasserie for a great night of stunning food and delicious wine. Have eaten here on several occasions and have never been let down. Fillet of beef on a different level. Well done and keep it up
Booked here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food was incredible, we will definitely be coming back. The service was amazing. Love love love this place.
I was never so well treated in a restaurant in my entire life. The food was PERFECTION, the staff was AMAZING, the whole vibe was incredible! I’m so glad we found this place! I’ll absolutely com3 back more times!
I planned my wife’s birthday dinner to be celebrated at Pearl Brasserie. Best decision I made was choosing this restaurant. The staff was beyond accommodating and friendly! Every person we met which totaled 8 staff members were great! The food and drinks were out of this world! We had lamb, filet, prawns, a dumpling dish and many other wonderful dishes. All equally delicious! I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly than I have just stated. Please, if you want great food and to be served by a great staff, this is the place in Dublin to go!!
As an east Asian I am very cautious with such “fusion” restaurant but I wouldn’t consdrr this one bad. Went there for lunch so no two-way pigeon but the deer at lunch is also in 2 way which is nice. Charsiu is a bit weird if you are familar with Cantonese food. The dessert and coffee is great. Yuzu taste authentic.
Amazing food and cocktails and brilliant service we were a Family and the girl served and made our evening very very special thank you for the girl who served us
Intimate nooks in the restaurant with interesting interior (and fish tank). The menu had plenty of seafood options. Staff were all attentive & friendly, with a bunch of them training. We enjoyed all of our courses. Obviously the price is quite expensive, which explains the high finish to each dish. Would probably return but only on some special occasion.
We are warmly welcome by Ramesh. His service is very great! Polite, Gentle and Helpful. All the staff were amazing, including João the Brazilian guy, very friendly. The food was amazing! But could included the Foa grois in the Testing Menu. I didn't have this opportunity. Next time maybe. Our night was especial for celebrating our anniversary. I didn't not know about the table with fish tank, probably would seat there. I recommend this place for a especial occasion. Its expensive but worth it!
So very very disappointed we went for the surprise 6 course tasting menu at a cost of almost €100 per person thinking we would have an amazing experience but unfortunately we were very disappointed of the 2 starters first was tasteless and the soup was barely warm of the 2 mains the octopus was ok and the venison was so small I mean fingernail size you got no taste then 2 dessert 5 very small piece of cheese which were ok and a hard piece of chocolate pie. I know this was a tasting menu but so very very disappointed should have stayed with main menu
Why I gave one star: The food does not taste good. I don’t see the point of going there, dishes are delicately presented but why not spending more time on providing better taste? Tuna and avocado can be a good match but the portion made it tasted greasy, if the dressing can be more into the dish it could be better balanced. The companion sorbet does not solve the problem that tuna tastes too fishy, because the ice made the fish oil condense and thus no aroma, only fishing rod. Main I had is pan fried sea bream with white coco beans and veg. Such a disappointment! It tastes like chef poured all salt sticking they have in kitchen on the fish! Too salty, really a letdown. White coco beans just taste like normal beans, which could’ve been a nice compliment to the protein but because of too much salt it became a disaster, I couldn’t finish even one third of the dish. Wasting food made me feel guilty but I already reached my physical limit, I sigh to myself and fortunately I didn’t order the tasting menu, otherwise it would be such a waste. When I frankly told the staff about my feeling and suggest them not to put so much salt into food, keep the origin taste of the food and if guests want to add more flavor they can use salt and pepper(if placed on the table). Staff asked whether I want the kitchen to re-prepare the dish for me, definitely no, my stomachs was hurt and no room for a new one. I already paid for my service for a premium, so I don’t need to be grateful for the service. Venue is graceful, but I go to restaurant is for food. If for venue, I can go to beautiful venues, gardens, courts, castles, many other beautiful venues in Dublin.
