Ten out of ten. The fries were amazing, the sandwich was delicious, and the meat came cooked exactly the way I asked for it. On top of that, the sandwich was super generous, really hearty and filling. Service was also great — honestly, everything was just perfect.

Wow! Our first night in Dublin and we went to Boeuf dinner. The steaks were tasty and so tender with such a delicious sides and sauce. Amazing place, warm atmosphere. Been served our food by Mathiew with lots of smile and the vibes. Definitely will coming back again and high recommended to try this restaurant.

Perfect food - perfection!! We all got the filet mignon, one of the top steaks I've had. Perfectly cooked. The green beans were excellent, the Raclette gratin exquisite (had to order a second one). Restaurant itself is small and a bit smelly with the kitchen sharing the space. Amazing food.

Absolutely DELICIOUS food and great staff!! So yummy it’s unbelievable, every time we go to Dublin it’s a MUST visit

We tried the sampler for two and it was absolutely perfect. The steaks were all cooked to perfection and allowed us to try different cuts of steak. The service was great and it’s in a nice spot.

Best lunch/brunch special. Steak soft and tender. Recommend!

Had a fantastic meal here on Friday before the theatre. Excellent in every sense! The friendly staff were knowledgeable and very good in catering for gluten free. The food and cocktails were delicious. Husband loved his wings and the good range of steak cuts. Beautiful presentation too. Try the red wine jus! Thank you to all and we will be back!

My favorite place for steak in Dublin, great location, price, food and staff. Honestly I could visit and just eat the sides and starters for an afternoon.

We went to Boeuf on a whim on our last night in Dublin, looking for a good steak, and it turned out to be a great choice. The restaurant was trendy and lively, with a fun atmosphere that made it feel special without being too formal. The food was spot on—the filet and strip loin were both cooked perfectly, the sides were just as delicious, and the cocktails rounded everything off nicely. We both really enjoyed the meal, and it ended up being a memorable way to wrap up our trip.

I went for the Express Lunch menu, and as the prices were so affordable, I was not expecting anything to write home about. However, I was proven wrong as the food was excellent. My steak was cooked well, and it was a good size for the price. It was juicy and served with a flavorful peppercorn sauce, alongside a fresh lettuce (well dressed) and a huge pile well seasoned chips. I had no complaints. My friend got the Peri Peri Chicken sandwich and also said it was excellent. It was also a generous portion. Service was quick and the environment was clean. I would recommend stopping here for an affordable lunch time steak.

It’s really hard to go out for under 50€ and have a better meal imo. My only gripe is the knives in particular really could use a sharpening.

Usually go here for lunch but this time went for dinner for a change. I got an 8oz ribeye with some sides and it was really really good. Would recommend this place for a date night or if you just want to treat yourself.

M

Really a lovely place for steak, high quality but surprising reason price. Eating in the outdoor section feels really like on the street in Paris.

It's beef, what more can I say? The very fact that these wonderful folks specialise in the wonder that it beef is just epic, if this place doesn't make you scream "ALL HAIL THE COW GOD!!" after the first bite then I don't know what is wrong with you! Bouef is a great place, the atmosphere is wondrous, me & the wife sat in the little conservatory being baked alive with the heater above us while it was 8° & raining outside was beautiful & poetic. The staff were friendly & helpful, the place was busy but the staff were all attentive. I can't recommend this place enough, if you like cow then this place is for you!!

Boeuf is a place we’ve now visited twice, and each time has been an absolute bliss. Consistency like that is hard to come by, and they truly deliver on every visit. The wine selection is excellent, well-chosen and perfectly paired with the menu, making the meal feel elevated without being pretentious. One of the biggest wins is the sides: not only are they delicious, but they’re also super affordable at just 2.50€, which makes it easy (and tempting) to try more than one. We ended the night with dessert, and it was just right, not too heavy, not too sweet, but the perfect finishing touch to an already satisfying meal. Between the food, the wine, and the overall experience, Boeuf continues to impress and has officially earned a spot on our repeat-visit list. 🍷✨

Great experience! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food tastes excellent, every dish was full of flavor. The service was fast, friendly and very attentive. Bruno, who assisted me, was especially kind and made sure everything was perfect. I would definitely come back

What a steak, loved it!! Amazing speed, great ambiance and delicious sides. All for reasonable price - thank you!!!

Absolutely amazing are the best the words to describe this masterpiece of a restaurant. Not a huge number of seats so it is a good idea to reserve in advance. The food is delicious and made with premium ingredients. Great selection of drinks as well, however I was surprised that they did not serve Guinness. Staff are super nice and the atmosphere is also what I would expect.

Lovely food, lovely restaurant and lovely people. We’ve tried to get here on about 4 different occasions because every time we tried they never had a table so we finally did the sensible thing and booked a table and it was so worth it. The interior is a bit cramped and not so well lit so I would definitely recommend sitting outside and getting that “French feeling”. The food menu is short and the alcohol menu is extensive - the way it should be. You pick your cut of meat, the sides you want and what sauce. Essentially creating your own meal which is amazing as you have control over your own plate. Reasonable prices considering it’s steak. Highly recommend for a date and to book a table in advance or come earlier during the day.

The OG still puts out some amazing food, the terrace is lovely to sit out, and the lunch menu is great value. Beautiful steak sandwich. One of the nicest I've had.

Beautiful food with no hassle. We were looking for a place to eat on Saturday and decided upon Boeuf as had heard good things already. Got there just after lunch time and were seated. The menu is quite big and plenty of choice. With a name like Boeuf you knda know what your in for and our meal was really good. We had wings to start and they were cooked perfectly and nice and saucy. Sharing platter for main with 4 different cuts of steak. Decor and service both excellent! Will be back here again and again I feel!

I saw this place on TikTok and it did not disappoint. My New York strip was super flavorful and tender. The garlic bread was delicious. I also had the mashed potatoes with pepper and truffle. I would definitely go here again

Unreal starters, main and dessert! Beautiful service! However one lil thing I'd say is about seating, might be tight inside and outside, I would remove one row of tables to make up space for everyone as kind of feels on top of others. But food and the rest top notch! For starter I got duck pate, main fillet mignon with peppercorn sauce and garlic butter plus chunky chips and creamy spinach. For dessert I had creme brulee and it was beautiful. Thank you team!

A truly amazing find. Was looking for a nice steakhouse type place to try and found this and I was so delighted I did. Menu is very well put together and the food was amazing and at a prices that are worth paying. Can't fault any part of it. The staff was equally brilliant so top job all and I would 100% recommend

Place was busy and a little rough around the edges so nearly didn’t sit but glad we did as this was a delightful little diamond with really delicious steaks. Beautifully cooked and a real surprise find! Very much enjoyed our evening.

Drinks and food were fantastic; tried the broccoli au gratin, wish we ordered more

Best steak ever!! Never had anything like it! The staff were very nice. Eating area is a bit small, so I would recommend booking in advance.

Have been here on multiple occasions always hits the spot. The tasting platter for 2 is by far my favourite perfect for date night. The space inside is nice for bigger party’s where as the outside is tight for space but very cosy and intimate. Loami was a great server !!

P
Patrick Kennedy

Outrageously tasty food. Starters (boneless wings and calamari) were perfect and followed by the tasting platter for two which was a perfect quantity of steak. The multiple chip choices deserve a mention here also. Seating is a bit cramped and the noise level can also get to be a bit much but more than worth it for the quality of food and service. Fairly reasonably priced for Dublin also. Recommend booking for evening service, and reservations are a must for weekend evenings.

Steak was really tasty , sides were great too very crunchy, but creme brulee was cold. Tables could be more comfortable and toilet needs to be renewed.

A good spot for a quick lunch. 12pm-4pm express lunch menu is a great option for Lunch or early dinner. The menu is very budget friendly as well. Food was good and staff was great!

We went there for an early dinner no booking and we luckily got a table for 1hr so I would recommend to book before. We shared the 17oz boeufs tasting plate for 2 (which bring a piece of all of the types off cuts of meats they have, meat was good! Not in the medium rare we asked though but still good, we also thought the spices they spread on top of the meat was too much covering all the meat flavor, but still one of the best meat qualities). As a side we shared some potato gratin with Camembert and garlic (to lees cheese but they were soft and tasty anyways) and also a pesto and tomato salat (here is were we got disappointed cause it was just 3 slices of a bit good tomato). The place is small bit cozy on the outside.

A
Ana Canella

Striploin steak was cooked as requested and was super tasty, blue cheese butter was also delicious. I got the potato gratin with raclette cheese, which was great as well. Service is okay, place was busy and we were requested to leave the table for another booking. Seats are very close to one another and not very comfortable. Also there is an additional 10% on the bill (voluntary tips), this information is disclosed on the menu. On the overall it was worth for the quality of the food. But not a place I would go back often.

Great steak house in the center of Dublin. These guys haven't let me down so far. Very cosy place especially in their outdoor/indoor area at the front. Only thing I can fault them on was no non dairy milk alternatives for coffee 😞

K
Kilian Chasseriaud

Food at Boeuf was nice, good value for money and wide range of super affordable sides. Our steaks came out well done instead of rare the first time round and had to wait an hour before we got to eat though the staff were amazing so overall good experience. The 4 stars for the fact the prices we were charged were not what is on the menu, maybe the menus were not updated corecctly?

J
J Bradley

Service staff were friendly and attentive. Food is OK for the price. Ribeye steak was quite fatty and thick cut chips come coated in paprika which was unexpected. Peppercorn sauce was good. Not the best steak you'll ever have but certainly on the cheaper side for Dublin!

J
John G

I’ve been here three times and ordered the same thing off the lunch menu which in itself says everything. The Steak Sandwich, medium rare, pour the accompanying sauce on the sandwich. Top quality for a very reasonable price €13.

R
Ricardo Santos

A 50 mim wait to have food on the table is a bit too much. However, the food was absolutely delicious - the meat was very tender, grilled to perfection and so tasty. The staff are very polite and professional

Pretty nice place! Quite small but atmosphere and decor was quite nice. Service was quite quick and the staff were lovely. Starters we had were piri-piri prawns and Buffalo wings - both were really good! The steak were all quite good. Tastes good with sauces were good (peppercorn sauce maybe a little too much peppercorn?). I was expecting a little more oompf specifically since it was a steak place but it was good, couldn't say anything particularly bad. Overall pretty pleasant experience!

M

We really enjoyed this restaurant in the center of Dublin. The meat was delicious, with a great atmosphere and very friendly, fast service. The only thing we didn’t like was that a 10% tip was automatically included in the bill, which is not common everywhere in Ireland. We prefer to leave tips by choice.

Ok place for quick beef lunch. I’ve ordered the lunch menu of beef sandwich, and it was good . Cooked as I’ve asked medium rare. Ambience is not so nice, but OK Service is great Affordable prices Good stop for lunch

Atmosphere & Cleanliness: The restaurant captures a classic steakhouse vibe with a calm, low-noise environment—ideal for chatting and enjoying a relaxed meal. However, there’s only one bathroom, which can be a bit inconvenient. Menu & Food Quality: We tried the ribeye, sirloin, and their tasting plate-shared platter for 2. While the tasting plate offered variety, it didn’t deliver the full steakhouse experience—I'd recommend skipping it in favour of a full cut. Among the steaks, the ribeye stood out as the best, though the seasoning was a bit mild for my taste. We also ordered crispy calamari and duck pâté—calamari was crispy and enjoyable, but the pâté wasn’t to my personal taste. For sides, we had potato gratin, thick steak fries, and skinny fries—all satisfying. For steak topping mushroom and as enhancement nduja chilli sausage. Liked the nduja chilli sausage very much since added more salty taste to my steak. Service: Service was smooth, and everything came in good time. Do note: steak sauces must be ordered separately—steaks are served plain by default, which is fair given the price point. Pricing & Value: It’s a budget-friendly option for steak lovers. The quality and portion sizes are solid for the price, though it may not satisfy those looking for a premium steak experience. Accessibility: Centrally located, easy to access from various parts of the city. Overall Experience: Decent value and friendly atmosphere. Great for a casual steak night, especially if you’re watching your budget.

I just had a decent dining experience at Boeuf Steakhouse in Dublin! This casual spot has truly won my heart with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The fact that they're open all day, every day, is a major plus - whether you're a local or just visiting, you can pop in whenever you like. Boeuf prides themselves on using only the finest prime cut Irish beef and free-range Irish chicken, and you can really taste the difference. And let's not forget the signature seasoning - it adds a certain je ne sais quoi to each dish. I opted for the steak and fries, which was love at first bite. The fries were crispy and hot, but be sure to devour them quickly, as they can get a bit cold and limp if you don't! The service was friendly and efficient, and the staff really made an effort to make me feel at ease. The location on South William Street is buzzing, but the cozy atmosphere inside Boeuf makes it feel like a hidden gem. Yes, the seating can be a bit cramped, but trust me, it's worth it. With its unique blend of traditional Irish flavors and French flair, Boeuf Steakhouse is a must-visit in Dublin. So, if you're looking for a delicious meal in a warm and welcoming setting, look no further - Boeuf has got you covered!

An overall nice enough meal. Steaks were okay, nothing particularly better than you could cook at home. You can see the cooks from your seat and I just hated seeing the cooks bare hands touching the steak to turn them, lift them onto dishes. The place is incredibly loud due to its size so atmosphere was not great, more like a really loud diner. Great prices, and boneless chicken wings were great, just a shame the main event steaks are poor.

C
Cillian Bissett

Overall, not bad, not great. I wouldn’t be excited to come back. Chips were very poor quality and drowning in paprika to cover it. I thought I was given the wrong side. Steak cooked to correct done-ness, flavour wise the steak was fine. Good selection of steaks. Caramelised onions were very good on the steak. Staff forgot my drink.

E
EG

We were so disappointed as it was highly recommended. The boneless wings and burger were very good. Steak and chips mediocre. The toilets are awful, they are filthy and didn’t smell too fresh. The bin was wide open with contents on view on the way to the bathroom.

M
Meta Kalle

Nice atmosphere, but you did not come to our table once during the meal to check up. I think it was totally wrong to not mention “paprika” in your “Parmesan and truffle” fries. The truffle was in the cheese, but not visible, and the fries were full of paprika. It’s more paprika fries than truffle, and it should be listed on the menu. Apart from that, my medium rare steak was on the hard side of medium. I also didn’t like that you put the 10 % tips on the check by default.

L
Lucy Randall

Service was extremely inattentive — no check-ins at any point, so we weren’t able to flag issues or order additional drinks. Our steaks were delivered mixed up, sauces/toppers ended up wrong, and the fries served weren’t the ones ordered. The ribeye was very fatty/chewy and a noticeable portion was left uneaten. Food overall felt average for the price. The indoor space is cramped, the décor is tired, and we had fruit flies around the table for the duration of the meal. Overall: poor service + execution, and not good value for the spend.

After having to wait outside for ten minutes for our pre booked table, my friends and I ordered medium-rare steak at this restaurant that specialises in steak and was served meat that was barely cooked — closer to raw than rare. Sent it back twice with no problems but it came back still undercooked. What made it unacceptable was the service after we kindly asked the food to be removed from the bill. Staff became rude and dismissive, made snotty comments, tried to switch our bills, and still made us pay for the steaks. They did however provide fries and drinks on the house. Bruno was the name of the guy who upset me and my friends the most with a sarcastic comment on our way out. Would not recommend.

D
Daynagh Behan

Have dined here many times, unfortunately this time was incredibly disappointing. The starters were lovely and enjoyable, however when it came to the mains, 3 medium steaks and 1 medium well were all served rare and cold, when we called the server to inform him he very rudely told us there’s nothing wrong with the steak, it’s what we ordered. The chef saw us talking to him and came over we tried to explain the issue and asked to speak to a manager he pointed to the guy who was already at the table. This guy made zero effort to speak to us, apologise or rectify the issue, he just walked away and left us sitting there with inedible food. He didn’t even offer to cook the food more and made a massive point that the steak was ok? The chef came and said he would redo the meal for the table, we felt at this point it wasn’t an option as everyone was staring at us and we felt very uncomfortable. I had to call to ask for the bill again this very unpleasant man returned and threw the bill on the table. Won’t be back after this.

g
george hague

Everything was amazing, but as we were leaving the chef with a tattoo on the left side of his neck made an extremely inappropriate gesture to my friend. He made the hand gesture for sex to her. This ruined the experience we had and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I was debating whether I should write this review or not since I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 2 years now, and have recommended it to so many people as well. I’ve never had a single issue with the food (or staff) until today (February 22nd 2026). I arrived a bit earlier than my friends, around 1:10 p.m. and requested a table for three, letting the waitress know they’d arrive around 1:30 to 1:35. When my food arrived, much faster than usual, I took a few bites and realized it tasted off, almost moldy. As I spoke on the phone with my mom, I overheard the male server, a tall, medium-built man with short dark hair, dark eyes, dark eyebrows, and a mustache asking the girl waitress about my table. Moments later, he approached me rudely, saying, ‘I’m going to need this table.’ Despite me telling him my friends were on their way, he just insisted, ‘No, I need this table.’ After i was rudely addressed by him, I hesitated to make a complain about the food but still did it. When I explained the food was off, something I’d never experienced here before, he gave me a condescending attitude, asking, ‘So what do you want me to do about it?’ He aggressively took my plate, loudly told the kitchen, ‘She’s complaining about her food now,’ and brought me back just a few bites of the same awful steak. I was on the verge of tears, his dismissive, rude, and condescending tone was appalling. After the horrible treatment from him i called my friends and told them i’m leaving the restaurant. I payed, I left in complete shock, no apology, no care. I was in the establishment for 25mins in total. I won’t be returning.
