Opinions de Dublini Milano
It is very popular place and you need to book a table in advance, as very rarely you can get a table on walk in. Service staff were very professional and polite especially with our kids. Biggest pleasant surprise was kids menu, it’s a first time I see where It was offered starter, main course and dessert for kids. All food looks delicious and tasty, my pizza wasn’t very tasty. Arancini (starter) was perfectly cooked and prepared. Kids loved Babychino. Every dish is freshly prepared as it’s very big turn out and they have a big option for vegans and gluten free. Definitely will come back and recommend to everyone.
This is a cute restaurant in Temple Bar. We ordered the garlic mushrooms, an Americano pizza, and a bottle of wine. The price is good and the food is delicious. We went just after the lunch rush (around 130pm) so it wasn’t very busy. The wine wasn’t that great but the food was amazing! If you’re a mushroom lover, the garlic mushrooms are a MUST! The pizza was yummy. You have to cut it yourself with the pizza cutter they give you. I was surprised but it worked out well. Other patrons got some pasta and it looked delicious. I’d love to go back and try it because we just weren’t that hungry. If you’re looking for an easy meal that’s delicious, this is a great place!
This place was fantastic. Just like Pizza Express in the UK, the food was reliably delicious. The staff were very friendly and they had healthier and less dense options, such as pizza with a hole in the middle for a lighter lunch. They also used vegan cheese when asked, which I really appreciated and they were mindful of the fact that I can’t have milk. The desert was also very good and I liked the coffee. The place had a great vibe too. I would definitely come back here, it was relaxing and a perfect way for us to end our holiday!
Milano in Temple Bar offers delicious Italian cuisine with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with friends. Service is friendly, though a bit slow at busy times. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience!
Had a fantastic experience here. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I went for the classic Margherita with pizannaise, and it was packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. The staff were helpful, friendly and full of energy, which really added to the atmosphere and made the meal even more enjoyable. The menu was clear, easy to read and replete with plenty of tempting options to choose from. For dessert, I had the Biscoff sundae and it was a lovely finish to the meal. I’d happily come back and highly recommend this spot.
We were able to get a seat at what appeared to be peak period dinner time, the place was full when we arrived, but many had finished in the time it took us to eat so there was plenty of room shortly afterwards. Quick service was helpful. I rather enjoyed the Padana pizza, with an exceptionally thin yet crispy base, nice textures and flavour, though was really quite disappointed to see a lonely single leaf of basil on the Margherita, and found the tomato flavour I would expect from this typically to be rather lacking. We did end up ordering the "classic" version (my mistake/misunderstanding) rather than the enticing one they have pictured online and described in the menu, but regardless of this we found it rather average and definitely would expect better from an Italian pizza resistant (-1). My wife's Vegan Buddha Bowl was also highly disappointing for her, leaving a substantial portion unfinished. Unfortunately they were out of houmous, though offered to add more olives instead, however it was then prepared VERY heavy on olive oil which overpowered any other flavour (-1). I had fully expected better after reading so many glowing reviews, and maybe if we ordered the "right" dishes it would have been a different experience, though overall it was less than excellent.
Nice pizza place right at the temple bar area. The restaurant is clean and spacious. There was no wait even during busy hours. The food is excellent. Even there were only a handful of vegetarian items, the food very enjoyable. The Arancini and the Goat cheese pizza was excellent. We wanted to order more but knew our stomach would be in trouble if we ate any more. Definitely one of the best pizzas I have eaten. I would take a star out on service. We were there before another table but our water and 1 drink didn’t arrive fast enough. We had to wait for while to get our drinks. The other table that came after us received their drinks immediately. Other than that, I would recommend to try their pizzas.
DO NOT ORDER THE CALAMRI. Chewy when it shouldn’t be not actual calamari, microwaved at best. The service also was terrible, rude servers, lines at the door with open tables because they don’t have a hostess, terrible. But the pizza was delicious would comeback just for that, nothing else.
I’d have to say their pizza is so good. Thats why it’s one of my favorite spot. But unfortunately today’s experience was so bad that i couldn’t enjoy my food. Little flies were everywhere… Even before the food comes it landed on my friend’s drink. Food comes, all over it. Tried to shoo them but it’s impossible. Changed our table, better but again all over our food. So paranoid to eat anything the whole time… p.s these pictures are after we tried everything, i didn’t want to leave a bad review with pictures so i didn’t take at the beginning.
Food was passable and staff were friendly and polite, but I fear for the restaurant's food safety standards because they definitely have a fruit fly problem. I was batting off 3 or 4 flies during my meal. From looking at reviews I can see that several other people have also had this issue. I'd wager a guess that the infestation is due to issues in the kitchen so I wouldn't recommend.
Went today with a my friends and it was extremely busy and there was very little staff, we were seated and after 10 minutes we were able to finally get a staff members attention to get menus. We ordered 4 drinks, 2 were the wrong drinks…. The starters came fast enough and then when the main courses came the pizza was soggy and not cooked enough, and the lasagne was freezing in the middle. I alerted a staff member who took my lasagne, didn’t apologise and brought the exact same one back with extra cheese on top, so hot it was bubbling and extremely charred it smelt so burnt and it was inedible. The staff avoided our table like the plague. They took the lasagne off the bill however we didn’t get so much as a “sorry”. No impresses been here before and the service is always slow but today was something else altogether.
I just walked into this “highly rated” restaurant to order food for take away, while I sat outside with my dog and waited… and although the reviews were high I’ve never in my life had worse food. I cannot even eat this, it is truly disgusting . The pizza looks and tastes like it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours, it’s beyond worse than cardboard and although I asked for EXTRA dressing on the side of my chicken Caesar salad I got absolutely no dressing. None on the salad, none on the side. My takeaway order was handed to me in two boxes stacked on top of each other for me to walk away with in the rain. This is the most disgusting meal I’ve ever had in Europe, and I’ve traveled the world with my dog. I can’t even bite through this pizza!!!!! I’m now heading to McDonald’s. Spare yourself the waste of money, I could have gotten a LOT of juicy McNuggets for the $50 I spent on this garbage!
