Amazing dishes Mongolian beef was cooked perfectly with a good heat level service was very fast but not rushed at all. Sever took the time to answered all of our questions about their dishes. Food was beyond what I had expected and this is now a must go to place for us and our friends. Prices don't reflect the quality or taste of this place. Delicious
One of my favorite spots I go too
Great Chinese food one of the best in the Dublin area!
Great place. Good food
We are dinning with this restaurant for more than 10y. Same taste, cleanliness, very good service.
Delicious food! Staff is wonderful. Order is ready and hot! 10 stars!!

We have been going to Shangri-la for last 25 years.. Best Chinese Food in Tri-Valley and very friendly staff.
Great food I ask my wife to bring some home we live in Richmond
One of the best Chinese restaurants in town definitely my new favorite place to go
Very good food and service. Really enjoyed lunch here.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area service is great food is better
good people... fair prices... good size portions...lots of choices
Great find. Generous portions, very tasty, highly recommended.
This restaurant looks ugly from the outside but OMG ITS SO DELICIOUS. FLAVOR IS VERY AUTHENTIC.

Food is Good 👍 great customer service. Quick

Great lunch today. Generals Tso Chicken with rice and vegetables.
Awesome dishes , been there for years
Best Chinese food in the world wonderful people great prices
Food was amazing for affordable prices, and the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I was a little skeptical due to the appearance of the exterior, but inside it looks pretty clean.
We've been going here for years. The food and service is phenomenal. Oh almost forgot, they are very reasonably priced as well!
Great old school high quality Chineese food. Good sized portions and fast service..
The staff are very friendly and willing to adjust food for your liking! Have ate there several times and have enjoyed the food!
Awesome food! Great service, very quick and efficient! Best Chinese food place around
Best Chinese food in the area. Hot and sour soup is so good. Dine in is amazing and delivery is always fast.
Great spot for classic take-out. Love the lunch combo! Generous portions for a good price
The food is really good and the size is big. Lunch is served with soup and salad.
Great place, awesome pricing. Service is great, and the people are friendly. Love coming here for lunch.
They are my go to for an awesome well priced dinner/lunch for two! Clean staff and restaurant with good music.
Sesame Chicken General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef are all excellent. The last great Chinese restaurant in the east bay.
I went to school in rural america. This used to be my definition of chinese food. So Glad to see that we have a good American chinese restaurant in the area!! Thank you.
This place has been a staple in my family since they opened many years ago. The fastest takeout ever! Everything is good. This time we had the eggplant, veggie egg rolls and fried rice. Huge portions!
First time here but I used to see this restaurant when I used to work in Pleasanton and when I got on the freeway. I ordered the chicken won ton soup to go and it was delicious. The guy who took my order was very nice and polite. I asked him if I could use the restroom 🚻 and he told me where it was at. The restroom 🚻 was clean and as I was going back I saw they had a big screen tv with the Thursday night football game on. As I looked around the restaurant it looked pretty big and had nice tables and chairs and looked really good. I will definitely going to come back not only for the ambiance but also for the Great food.
I’ve been coming here for over 20 years now and still that wonderful taste I crave. I have moved out of the area but I still make it a point to refer folks and stop in whenever I’m in town: I’ve had a lot of Chinese food in my life but nothing with a unique flavor each item has. Nothing tastes the same everything is good no matter what you get. Other than the price that has gone up over the years I have no complaints keep doing what ur doing GREAT FOOD ALWAYS. Misty and Kids
Sweet n sour pork is my go to! The amount of food you get and the freshness beats any Chinese restaurant in Dublin!
Great place I finally visited after living down the street from it for 8 years! Francis the (co) owner is very nice & you get HUGE plates of delicious food for a reasonable price.
Fresh and nice traditional American-style comfort food. We ordered Singapore noodles, salt and pepper cod, and spicy chicken. The steamed veggies with each order was a nice touch. Hot and sour soup was great. Fried rice could be better, and did not have wok hei. Ample portions. Well lighted space with big windows . The interior is showing signs of wear.
Their beef chow mein hit the spot. When I took a bite of it, the noodles were perfectly hot. Right temperature I'm looking for. ( It wasn't spicy hot, I meant temperature hot). And they put the right amount of ingredients in it. Definitely would come back.
We are super picky about our Chinese food and we love shangri la. They deliver to our home and come timely with hot food. They are all a ways super friendly on the phone and in person. The food is not overly greasy and taste fresh. My son loves their wonton soup! Our faves are their sweet n sour chicken, spicey mongolian beef and overall we have liked all their food! And ever better that it’s so close to my home! Thank you shangri la. The only place we get Chinese and have been customers for 3 years! 💜 my only complaint was they were closed on a Monday and I ordered from another place and my kids hated the food from the other restaurant. Lol PS the bad reviews are a joke! I stand by this place 100%!
Shangrila is our family's favorite Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area. Been going here for dining out and even hosted family banquets here for more than 15 years now. Our favorite fish dish is the Poached Fish Fillet. Sesame Beef is also our go-to dish. Food is great here!
The food and service was amazing. The plates are very generous especially for the price you are paying. The dinner plates are awesome cuz you get steam rice, chowmein, a soup and your entree.
The great place, good food, and quick service. Hole in the wall types. Always wanted to visit this place but couldn't, finally went there and I'm so glad I did.
Good food, great service, and awesome value with large portions and very reasonable prices. Restaurant is a bit dated, but my family comes to eat.
This place may not look like much from the outside but their food is wonderful! They have the best lemon chicken! The dinner special is such a good deal.
Fair prices for classic chinese-american fare. Lunch and dinner meal deals have very generous portions. The noodles here are particularly good.
A bit too salty, but excellent prices ($20 including tip for a huge lunch special) as well as very fast and friendly service... Hole-in-the-wall Chinese American spots like this one have my undying loyalty!
Good oily food, large portions, and spacious venue. Got exactly what I expected from this Chinese Restaurant, with quick service to boot. I came for a takeout lunch on Wednesday. There were 3 groups dining in and 4 folks waiting on the side. It's fairly busy, but there are still plenty of seats. I liked that there was someone at the counter at all times managing in-coming guests. This place is likely better for dining in since there are no holes for ventilation in your takeout box so the food will get soggy quickly. Would come again and possibly try dining in.
I absolutely recommend the restaurant, since I arrived I had a good impression because it was very clean, they opened the doors for me and they welcomed me very well, offering me the menu, the attention was the best compared to other restaurants, the food was excellent The rice tasted delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant, everyone is very friendly. The music was not loud, it was soft enough to eat and enjoy the delicious food.
Venue is decent, service was fast, food tasted great, and portions were huge. I probably should have just ordered the Sheng hai dinner instead of Ala carte. The salt and pepper tofu was the best. Will definitely be back.
As I write this I am so full I can barely move!! I ordered the Mongolian beef dinner special, it's enough for two full lunches! I read someone said the food was bland ?? I actually found it cooked perfect without a lot of oil and salt, great fresh taste! I loved that the noodles and beef were not overcompensated with a ton of veggies, I thought the balance was great. I ordered over the phone to go, very good service. The restaurant looked so inviting that I will dine in next time. Would recommend with a 5 star review.
Excellent service and amazing food. Server made sure we were well taken care of and checked on us regularly. The food was great and the plates are very abundant. Will definitely be back soon!
Excellent if you like amazing food check out Shangri-la. The inside of the restaurant was incredibly clean. The staff was pleasant and very attentive and the food was absolutely fantastic. Me and my son got the Mongolian dinner which came with rice, noodles and soup. The portions were very generous and at only 13$ a plate what else can I say but go and have yourself a amazing dinner at Shangri-la!
This place is amazing and really delicious I tried a few dishes and I can't tell you how amazed I was at how good the food tastes, I definitely recommend coming here.
Google told me that this place recently opened and suggested it to me, however I have a feeling this place has been around for a LONG time considering the faded and slightly broken sign out back of the restaurant. That being said - the lunch portions are crazy and for 10 dollars and some change I got a huge helping of Szechuan Tofu, brown rice, veggies, and a hot and sour soup. Service was crazy fast too only taking about 3 or so minutes from ordering to getting my food.

This is my family favorite spot for last 10 years , the food is always delicious and fresh. Customer service is excellent all the time. We love the Salt & Pepper Prawns Thanks
Good food had the potstickers egg rolls. Hot sour soup and the seafood dish
Fast easy takeout. I order the dinner spacial with orange chicken for $16 and some change
The staff is nice but the food is not the best. It's decent but there are other resturant which are better.
Everyone informed party really liked the food & thr service & plan on going back 😀
Good tasty food and huge portions. Tried their kung pao chicken lunch special that comes with vegetables, soup, steamed or fried rice. Good friendly staff.
Generous portions but taste was a little bland. Great if you want alot of food that tastes okay
That's a pretty good place and it's always been my dad's favorite spot
Still my favorite Chinese place in Dublin. Interior is bit more upscale than many places. Prices are fair for the quality and value. Quality is good.
Stopped in today for lunch. It had been a year or so since my last dine in visit. Had a wonderful experience. I had the curry chicken lunch special and was exactly what I wanted. My veggies were cooked perfectly and and my entree was so flavorful and a generous portion.
The restaurant had somewhat of a hole in the wall vibe, but the dining area was very clean, and they provided good, attentive service. The hot and sour soup was too thick, gelatinous and wasn’t tasty. The vegetable medley entree was fresh with a nicely seasoned sauce. The crab wontons and bbq pork chow mein were very good and we would order them again. The fried rice that came with one of our entrees was very plain with no additions such as vegetables, but still tasted fine. Overall, we had a nice experience and would come back.
To put it simply: I ended up here because it was conveniently located. I spent most of the afternoon at the Dublin library, I was hungry, and this was the best option between there and the BART station. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken, which turned out to be one of the best ever. Although it was slightly low on the garlic and chile spice, as I prefer, the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was a large portion, and it reminded me of a similar chicken dish that I loved back in the 80s. Their menu has a few other interesting options, so if those are as good as what I had last evening, then you can't go wrong here. There is nothing new to add, except that I came here today intentionally, out of wanted to. It has become a favorite of mine. The end!

This is the 2nd or 3rd time eating from here, but first time dining in. I recommend take-out, as the dining atmosphere isn't appealing. Most of the food is pretty good, but some dishes either lacked flavor or were too salty. The mixed veggies were very good. The service was prompt and attentive, but our server wasn't knowledgeable on gluten-free questions we had about the menu. The atmosphere is old, outdated and dirty. It looks like it was once a happening place, but was never cleaned during slow periods. The carpets and doors need cleaning, the walls need painting, and the furniture and decor need an upgrade. I'll continue to eat here- take-out only.
Today If you want to eat chinese food in a hot environment, this is a perfect place for you. No air-conditioned and low fan running, i barely feel it. Last 2 thing that pissed me off was I have to ask twice for napkin and they gave 1 napkin at a time; 2nd thing my mom is still eating and he is rushing to take away our dishes, the place is empty why do they need to rush us to leave. Annoyed!
Very disappointed. Was charged more than the advertised price from the website and the food was not what I ordered. Also, the packaging they delivered the food in was super cheap material and falling apart. Normally not a bad experience here but this was super disappointing. Unless they contact me to make this right I'll never order here again.
A nice large restaurant right off Dublin Blvd serving a large menu of Chinese food. It was Sunday evening and the restaurant was almost empty, however there was a steady stream of folks coming for takeout. The ambiance is ok for a large restaurant. I ordered a Kung Pao tofu, which the server said was spicy. When the food came she asked me if I wanted hot sauce - I thought that was funny since mentioned it was spicy to begin with . The food was great when it came but didn't taste as good when it got colder. The spice level was low so I ended up using their hot sauce. So much for the "spicy" food. 🙂
Recently, I decided to eat at Shangri-La Chinese restaurant, located in Dublin, CA. I tried their lemon chicken and fried vegetable eggrolls. I will say what I was expecting to get, and what I actually got was too different things. The eggrolls we basic and slightly overcooked, but still tasted good. They used lumpia shells instead of the traditional eggroll shells, which gave the eggrolls a crisper and crunchier bite. The eggrolls came with a spicy mustard, which somehow tasted like their version of wasabi and the classic sweet and sour sauce. The lemon chicken on the other hand, is what surprised me the most as I had envisioned real chicken chunks tossed around in some type of secret lemon seasoning and fried. Instead, what I got was chicken bites (which seemed like the type you could buy at Costco or Sam's Club) with lemon flavored sauce drizzle over it that looked exactly like the sweet and sour sauce but was yellow in color instead. The lemon chicken was accompanied by my choice of fried rice, which was also average in taste, and a small side of sautéed vegetables. I will say that even though the lemon chicken wasn't what I was expecting, the sweetness of the lemon sauce still made it taste great. The restaurant had only been open for about 20 minutes when I arrived, but there were customers already there and eating, and the flow continued throughout my meal, so it is safe to say that their food is popular with the locals. All-in-all, if I found myself in the mood for some Chinese food, I would definitely eat here again.
I finally tried this place. It was good. I didn't like the hot & sour soup it was very bitter. I got the Honey Walnut Prawns. I asked for broccoli on the side. I'm not sure if it normally comes with it but I didn't get charged for extra broccoli so it may just be how it normally comes.

Ordered on grubhub. Hot and sour soup was decent. Not great but ok. Veggie chow mein was incredibly bland. Tasted like bad mall food chow mein. I can't believe anyone would rate the chow main as good. Had to put lots of sirracha to make it palatable. Threw half of it away. Chicken broccoli also very bland and broccoli was undercooked. Chicken was dry and chewy. Egg rolls were ok. Except for the hot and sour soup, Panda Express is much better.
Just not good. For the price, there's really no excuse. Sesame chicken was swimming in very sweet sauce, but the meat was dry and stringy, overcooked beyond all recognition. The pork chow mein was slightly better but very little flavor, overwhelmed by oil. Could have used a few dashes of msg, honestly. Disappointed and will not return.

Ordered lemon chicken and fried rice, only got fried rice
Got the kung pau chicken. It wasn’t good at all.
I'm a door dash driver and the place didn't even have the order ready in the system
We ordered 3 dishes , all of them smell very bad. The food was terrible. I don’t recommend this place.
Food was not good at all, they did not even sent my drinks or utensils. When I called them the lady said you can come to get it yourself. Very rude. After paying $38. We did not even ate the food
Got takeout tonight and it wasn’t what I was expecting. I ordered kung pao tofu and a side of rice. I ordered it mild because I wasn’t in the mood for too much spice but I didn’t think it would be flavorless and bland! Even the sriracha was disgusting! I think they put fish sauce in it too which I didn’t think about cause I was too hungry to ask that it slipped my mind. Sucks for me since I’m plant based. The portion size was pretty good for the tofu but they could’ve given more rice for the price. I won’t ever eat here again as I was just passing through. Don’t recommend for plant based peeps. Also, they have a drive thru but it’s inoperable.. P.s. be careful when parking in the back like I did.. you need to go all the way around to the right side of the drive thru. I didn’t know and went through the back entry.
Ordered orange chicken noticed it being just heated possibly microwaved ready within 5 minutes. I brought it back told the front desk receptionist he told me the food here is freshly cooked. I took a piece of chicken out to prove it to him and left the bag there. I don’t trust these self reviewed stars which I find full of Bs
I just got out of the restaurant. The people are nice! the waiters are friendly. But the fooddddd! OMG! I am a person who would never take the effort to write a comment but it was so bad! We literally left everything on the plate and walked out. I have been to China and other Asian countries and trust me they don't taste like this! The location is great the interiors are great as well but the food is BAD. Sorry.
Ordered for delivery through Uber Eats. The Uber Eats menu showed the description "Served with vegetables, soup, and choice of steam, fried, or brown rice" but when the food arrived it included none of that - only the entrees without the sides. The entrees that were delivered (Kung Pao Chicken and Cashew Chicken) were so bland that I did not even call to get the missing items. Leftovers just went in the garbage.
Just ordered salt and pepper calamari through DoorDash, what I received was shoe leather calamari was so dry. I had to throw it away. It was an edible. DoorDash gave me five dollar coupon. I threw it back in their face and will never order through DoorDash or Shangri login.
Oh my! I feel like I should stick to what I know! I ordered Basil Prawn. Thinking of something healthy. Well to my surprise, the waiter decided to change my order to chicken. I sent it back. What I was not expecting was it being covered in sweet and sour sauce. And the price changed for dining in. Have to remember to ask more questions about how it's prepared. Now I have to run to the toilet!
Disappointed. I really used to like this restaurant, but the food has gone way down. Congealed, burned, over-seasoned- need I go on? Oh, also, didn’t feel well after eating it, which sux, so I removed another star Small example in the photo below.

The kungpao Tofu had the smell of urine. We called it out yo the staff and they said everything is fine. But all of us could smell a distinct smell of urine and could not eat the food. The Singapore noodles felt uncooked with spices tasting raw. The fried rice seemed old and reheated. The Hot and Sour soup was good though. I will never go there again and would not recommend it.
The food was just not good. The Kung Pao chicken tasted like black bean sauce. The vegetables tasted old and funny. Not sure what happened…the food here is usually good. Very greesy. The people there were very nice and the place was well decorated.
