Really nice decor, and the food is also really good. Service was friendly. On the booking site they had the option to select a set lunch menu but when we arrived they said this wasn’t available. We ordered off the à la carte menu and everything was delicious. Highly recommend. Will be back to try more!

Our experience was nothing but exceptional. From the moment we sat down the service was incredible, specially Jose who was genuinely warm and recommended some spot-on dishes. The food itself was superb but the star of the night was the miso cod, perfectly cooked, silky, rich, it was like butter in my mouth. When I go back (which will be very soon) that's the first thing I am ordering again. Overall an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Incredible experience and the floor feels like you’re walking on a lagoon! Had lunch here recently with a good friend, we had an amazing time! Lovely food including their Matcha Latte! Also the staff were so attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back! A+!

Great place with incredible staff, which enhances the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Our waiter Patrick did a great job and treat us like vip guests the whole time and it made all the difference. A great place to come back in Dublin!

The Ivy Asia is fabulous. The decor is stunning, with a fabulous bar. The staff were so lovely particularly Rebecca and Grainne. The food was delicious. The service was prompt and very efficient. Loved the vibe and ambiance. We were there with our 21yr old and 18yr old and we all loved it. Felt like we’re were abroad in a lovely restaurant: Will definitely be back!

Fabulous food, sharing plate style, packed full of flavour. We chose from early bird menu which had lots of delicious choices. Service was attentive and efficient. Decor is extraordinary, very opulent. Table was a little cluttered for all the plates etc. Drink prices on the high side. But, overall, really really enjoyable dinner.

Great food and an absolutely stunning interior. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the presentation of the dishes is very creative and eye-catching. A lovely place for a special evening or when you want something a bit different.

The restaurant is stunning! Absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing, good portions, but what this place is really about is the great staff! I came with my husband to celebrate our 4 years wedding anniversary, Isabelle and Emiliano were amazing to us, made our night so much special, we had a complimentary dessert and was absolutely lovely! Thank you so much for this special memory of or anniversary dinner. We will be back :)

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience. The sushi was incredibly delicious, and every dish we tried was exquisite and full of flavor. Each bite reflected the high quality and care put into the food. We would also like to highlight the outstanding service we received from Catalina. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. Her wine recommendation was perfect and paired beautifully with the food, elevating the entire experience. Without a doubt, we would happily make a reservation again and look forward to coming back.

Everything was amazing, the fish was so soft! First the place is so beautiful, her waitress was so nice and took time to explain us everything. We really have a great time and an amazing experience!

We booked a table for 3 on Monday at 5:30. We were seated at a table for pre-drinks until our main table was ready, no problem at all. I don’t even remember what time we were seated because we were enjoying ourselves. Service was great, the food was delicious, and the Christmas crackers were a really nice touch. We could see the place getting busier, and at some point the waiters weren’t fully on top of everything, but because we’re from hospitality, we understood. Nothing that would ruin our night. The bartender girl was a machine with the cocktails. Even though we didn’t order any, we could see she was giving 200%, so if any drinks were late, we completely understood. People need to understand that the hospitality business is tough to work in, and everyone is trying their best. I understand the frustration of tables waiting or missing something, but in this case you could see it wasn’t because staff didn’t care. Maybe hire some extra staff for Christmas, but overall, keep up the good work. We were served by James, and he was friendly and welcoming.

Ok folks. This is the place to go to if you’re reading this post. Trust me, then thank me later. Perfect location in Dublin. The decor is unlike anything I’ve seen before. The menu options are outstanding. Swift service. Fair prices for what you’re about to receive. And all come fast. Drinks were spot on too. I opted for the Gochujang chicken to start. . Salt and pepper beef for the main . Duck spring rolls were shared. 100% going back any time I land in Dublin. Loved it. 10/10.

We had a wonderful dining experience on a Wednesday night. We really enjoyed all the vegetarian menu items along with different mocktails drinks, and two different types of tea. Isabel was a great waitress and cared for our needs! ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited Ivy Asia Dublin this evening and the experience was simply spectacular. While the sushi was not particularly remarkable, the king oyster and shiitake gyozas truly deserve a special mention — honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The doughnut dessert was also outstanding and completely unique, the perfect way to end the meal. The atmosphere is a solid ten out of ten, with a live DJ and an impeccably curated décor that feels both elegant and vibrant, creating an immersive experience that goes far beyond just dining. A special mention must go to Hugo, our waiter, whose service was flawless: attentive, efficient, friendly, always focused on the smallest details and making sure nothing was ever missing — all delivered with a constant smile and genuine warmth. Without a doubt, this is a brilliant diversification of the Ivy brand in Dublin, fully approved by an experienced eye in customer experience and experiential marketing. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, great service and atmosphere. Came here for Saturday lunch and we got seated quickly. Ordered the Silver Shell, gyoza and ebi tempura. For desert we had the Sphere. Everything was a hit. Two points of constructive feedback, an Asian inspired cocktail menu would be appreciated, and a tempura batter over a beer batter for the tempura. No real complaints though, everything was excellent. Thanks to our server, Emiliano, for the fantastic Asian experience.

We went for our anniversary and we are amazed by the atmosphere and the food, I ordered a Keralan and it was so so so good. The service was amazing, specially Hugo and Aris. They were so professional and attentive, always ready to help and very nice to the customers. The place is also beautiful.

We came here for a post new year dinner as a group of 8. The atmosphere was brilliant as was the service. The food was good if not amazing. I chose the duck salad and the Teriaki Salmon. We got a couple of rounds of cocktails for the table which were very good (they would want to be with the prices). I would definitely come back and enjoy this place again. It is a very lively London vibe!

Outstanding experience at the Ivy Asia Dublin today. As soon as you arrive you notice the stunning decor. Staff were friendly and professional. Our orders were taken not long after we had sat down. Margarita and Whiskey Sour are well worth ordering. Food wise, beef tataki and pork belly were delicious. Already looking forward to going back.

I've never seen a more beautiful restaurant. The decor is over the top but done in a seamless and beautiful manner. The food was just as incredible with a special recommendation to try the Barbecue Duck Salad and the Black Cod Miso from the A La Carte menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for a high end meal with an unforgettable atmosphere and Halal options. P.S: to see the Halal options please scan the QR code on the menu where it says "FOR ALLERGEN INFO PLEASE SCAN QR CODE".

Very enjoyable meal. Everything was extremely tasty. Staff are super friendly. Atmosphere and decor are really good. They were sold out of a few options but luckily none that we intended to order. For their opening weekend they did really well. No liquor license yet which was a bit disappointing but you can get beer and wine. The Ivy Asia Cuvee was very nice. We also tasted their mocktails which were good. Looking forward to returning and trying out some more dishes. Definitely check out the Golden Dragon Dessert Selection. Can’t eat everything you ordered, get a box to take it away.

My recent visit to The Ivy Asia was superb. We were promptly seated without a reservation, the place was busy enough. The variety of the menu is good and all the dishes were cooked to perfection. For us the highlight of the evening was our waiter Tiago, he provided an excellent service from start to end and made the whole experience amazing. I would definitely come back. 10/10

Great experience - we were sceptical given the mixed reviews but our standards were met. The only thing was waiting a few mins on our first drink, everything else was perfect!

Definitely our new favourite restaurant in Dublin! The atmosphere is exceptional ! Stunning design, almost like stepping into a fairytale. The service was genuinely warm and attentive. The team took great care with my dietary preferences, clearly marking halal/non-halal options and managing cross-contamination risks with real precision. Everything we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented, and arrived quickly. The only thing that didn’t quite impress was the mocktail, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I genuinely can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended!

Amazing dinner with my family for my dad’s 50th birthday! Delicious food, starter main and desserts all absolutely amazing, so tasty! Especially the beef tataki and the chicken skewers for our starters still drooling even thinking about them! The service was Ok, at the start we were a bit put off how we were welcomed but they definately made up for it, trying to keep in mind this restaurant is only newly opened 6 days so the staff is extremely busy & running around everywhere mega confused! The only downside of the whole experience was no cocktails! Only 2 cocktails in stock, no traditional ones, and the 2 cocktails were so mid. They said only wine, beer and mocktails available which was kind of dissapointing we were looking forward to the classics. Restaurant was also very loud had to talk really loudly to eachother which kind of gave me a headache. I visited the Ivy Asia in London and I can defintely say Dublin is a million times nicer! Would definately come back, 10/10 for family dinner/ girls night definately recommend.

Amazing experience at The Ivy Asia Dublin! We had such a great time here — the food was absolutely delicious. Dany recommended some fantastic dishes, and we tried the yellowtail sashimi with truffle which was incredible. The sweet & sour prawn was perfect, and the robata satay chicken was also very tasty. Dany was super friendly, very attentive, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu. He explained everything really well and made our experience even better. The atmosphere was amazing too. Highly recommended!

Incredible experience. Something very different of what has been offered in Dublin. Something out of the regular. Staff amazingly nice, super good vibes. Food was a 10, specially the sushi. All the rolls so tender and savory. 100% recommended. I’d love to return soon 🩷

Was here last Saturday, was celebrating my friends bday. Very festive set-up for Christmas 🎁 The staff are wonderful 💕 Thanks very much for making the bday ladies happy! The ambience is beautiful! Absolutely stunning restaurant, well lit, gorgeous Asian-theme interior, well kitted out from the staff, table setting and over-all dining experience. I love the 2 huge cherry blossoms trees! 🌸🌸🌸✨🌟

The food was delicious, not the best Asian food I’ve ever had, but still very good, and the whole experience is absolutely worth it. The restaurant is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, and the drinks were amazing and super unique. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely go back!

The restaurant is simply stunningly decorated. Its like entering a fairy tale. Cocktails are good but they seem a little stingy on the alcohol side.more like juice with a tiny bit of alcohol. Service is outstanding, friendly, efficient. Food is OK. Doesn't feel "fresh" it tastes like it has been warmed up.Not sure how else to explain it. Would not go for the food, just the experience.

The food was very good, the New Year’s Eve set menu had excellent options, and we left quite full notably the green lantern dessert was a 10/10. We were celebrating my friends birthday and they went the extra mile to make it feel very special so thank you so much for that! There was a nice atmosphere and the interior design was stunning. Sara was very accommodating, friendly and lovely. However my only complaint is that another member of staff had a bad attitude which was unsettling because I simply just asked (kindly) for an extra napkin and I was met with not very friendly service.. but apart from that It was overall a nice experience.

Gorgeous night for the girls or date night. We ordered various plates and shared. The food was fresh and really quick service. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. The interior was absolutely stunning from the floor of the restaurant to the bathrooms. There was a dj and saxophone on the night, which created a lively atmosphere.

We visited this newly opened place tonight with my brother and his wife. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and really nice food. A great addition to the area — we wish you all the best. Special thanks to the Turkish waiter who took great care of us — friendly, attentive and made the experience even nicer.

Had a girls lunch and the food was amazing! We had the sesame prawn toast, steamed edamame, yellowtail sashimi and the California roll. The yellowtail sashimi stood out- was the perfect flavour with a bit of truffle Service was lovely, and the ambience was one of a kind! Have already been recommending it to my friends

I was lucky enough to try the newly opened restaurant. We were 20 minutes late from our booking and our table has been released, but thankfully enough, we still managed to get a table for just a short wait. When it comes to ambiance, it was elegantly crafted from floor to ceiling, including the bathroom, table setting, bar area as well as having a dj will really set u in the mood. Food quality is also good though we were a bit disappointed for our mains of wagyu and lobster. The lobster serving is tiny and the wagyu was chewy. However, we sent it back and they have provided a better quality beef and a slightly bigger portion of the lobster. We had evidence tempura and Korean chicken for starters and they all taste fresh and authentic. We enjoyed our half crispy duck and their presentation was fantastic. For the price, I'd say I can eat all the dishes on a good chinese restaurant here in Dublin for half the price. Also, they were only serving wine when we visited as they still don't have alcohol licenses but hopefully they will be able to serve alcohol soon.

No one can’t deny that the place it’s beautiful but no even 5 minutes of coming in I have a bad experience, a drunk man in the bar was trying to talk to me rudely and he even touch me, clearly I was uncomfortable and I tried to look for a waiter with the eyes but even them looking at me they didn’t do anything, my boyfriend was in the toilet so couldn’t help me, the staff didn’t do anything, the service was absolutely a 0/10 I wait for a drink for 20 minutes if it wasn’t more and in the bar they were checking if we actually had a reservation which I found it rude, we weren’t dressed that fancy but we were definitely presentable, when they sit us down in a table and asked for tap water they took at least another 20 minutes on give us the water and we even saw how the table next to us they were giving the water!! Absolutely a mess of service, the food was lovely but I won’t be coming back after the terrible service!!! My 3 stars are for the food and the place that is pretty

The décor is impeccable and the service is attentive. We tried a few dishes and they were excellent. We loved the kimchi dishes, especially the gyoza and fritters. The pork and karaage were also delicious. The loud music forced people to speak loudly, which affected the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the “cheesecake” dessert was disgraceful. We had one spoon each and left the rest, as it was completely tasteless.

L

My husband and myself went for the set lunch menu. I picked the seared sirlon beef for my starter and the duck mango salad. My husband choose the tempura prawns for his started and the pork belly for his mains. My beef was sitting in so much sauce that it ruinned the dish. My mango duck salad was a bowl of rockets sitting in a bowl of vinaigrette, hardly any mango. Very little pieces of duck, it was literally about 7 thin strips of dry over cooked duck. This dish was awful no matter what you popped in your mouth either mango or duck it was overpowered by that much vinaigrette. A bowl of soggy rocket leaves. I couldn’t eat much I picked out the peppers, mango and duck. Unfortunately the food isnt that great , very poor asian food. My husband’s prawns were nice and his pork dish was nice too. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, the atmosphere is lovely. Service was ok again after the food was brought out no one came near us again to ask if anything was ok?? Asked for the bill and waited 15mins and needed to ask again. Unfortunately I dont think we wouldnt be in a rush back.

The décor is absolutely stunning, easily one of the most visually impressive restaurants in Dublin. Every detail is beautifully executed, and the atmosphere alone feels like an experience. Service was also exceptional: attentive, polished, and professional. From an aesthetic and service point of view, the restaurant truly delivers. However, once you move past the visuals, the biggest issue becomes impossible to ignore: the food. While the presentation is undeniably beautiful, the actual taste is a major disappointment. One of the starters was completely bland, and overall the dishes lacked depth, seasoning, herbs, and spices. Some items were decent, but others were so average that you could genuinely get better food in some of the cheapest Asian restaurants in Dublin. Given the pricing, the value for money is extremely poor. For comparison, if you go to Musashi, you’ll get noticeably better food for roughly half the price. At this price point, expectations are high... and unfortunately, they’re not met. At the end of the day, a restaurant lives or dies by its food. Here, the food is sadly under-seasoned, uninspiring, and forgettable. What should have been a great night out turned into a disappointing experience, purely because the culinary side fell so far short. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Dublin in quite some time , all style, very little substance.

m
micah mckamie

Being pretentious isn’t a concept. As a chef my hat is off to the kitchen. The food is off the charts and honestly I can’t say I have had better Asian food in a long time. That being said…. The service from the moment we walked in the door was kind of abysmal. The hostess was very dismissive, didn’t offer us a coat check and really didn’t even look at us. The wait staff has no menu knowledge and has obviously been handed a poorly scripted spiel which was interrupted by an overly enthusiastic waiter that wanted to talk to them about another table. I guess we weren’t up to “their” standards. I wouldn’t be saying all this unless I felt as if the concept had a lot of legs and could be a sensational hit but at this time it is a expensive version of your favorite Wok and should be intended as a secondary option for a solid choice in regards to special events and date nights. I hope they figure it out. Yours truly, Chef Mac🤙🏼 PS make sure you watch open the water because it is 6 euro per bottle and tasted like tap water.
