Love this pizza place! I don't even need to avoid gluten, but their gluten-free pizza is amazing! We get the No Kissing Tonight - pesto sauce, garlic,... and we add on cashews. The owner, Scott, is so hospitable and kind. His staff look happy to be there. Nice atmosphere, very clean, and good music playing!
Upon visiting the downtown area me and my family chose pizza for lunch and it became a wise decision here at The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe. We each got our own personal 7" pizza, 1 lb. of their signature wings with ranch sauce, and some cold beverages from their big refrigerator selections. Their wings were extremely delicious as well as their pizza. I cannot put into words to describe my overwhelmed taste buds as they exploded with utter joy. From the marinara sauce to the savory pizza crust which I ate the entire pieces, to the tantalizing toppings, you just cannot stop eating everything. The restaurant was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon around 2:30 pm and got packed as we were finishing up our meals. I know why they were so busy during our stay. The restaurant is clean, organized, and has great accommodating service. They have a large menu with tons of deliciousness to choose from. Pizza, pasta, salads, submarine samiches, awesome drinks both refrigerated and fountain + much more. I want to come here again when in town to try some more of their awesome food. They get an all around, up & down 5 stars from me hands down 🍕 🍗 🙌
Love this place. Was taken here by the boyfriend as it was 1 of the only pizza spots he'd go to. Have been here twice now and will definitely keep going. Awesome pizzas, combinations, nice little place. Always something new to keep trying.
No way to overstate the incredible, fresh, delicious pizza with homemade crust that is served with genuine kindness, at the downtown, Redlands (The) Gourmet Pizza Shoppe. Vegan style with vegan cheese and fresh vegetable toppings is our new favorite! With a variety of sizes and styles of toppings, this place cannot be beat.
We arrived on a Saturday night around 6:15. We waited quite a while but that was okay. A number of people came in right after us so we were glad we avoided the crowd. The pizza was delicious, hot, and I loved that. They had so many different sizes to choose from. There were booths, a different size tables and chairs, and a corner with all kinds of things for young children. We will return!
Good basic pizza restaurant atmosphere.you order at counter and they bring food to you. The menu is too extensive to describe. If you want it on your pizza they have it. I liked the idea of a 7" pizza. Just right for 1. I liked the crust, not too thin, not too thick.Free refills on fountain drinks.excellent sweet potato fries.
This place has not changed the past 20+ years I've patroned here. The food here will always be pricier than other pizza places but you pay for the quality and variety provided. The pizzas were good and this time I got the pickle fries and those were very good. I love how they have pre folded pizza boxes so you don't have to wait to inquire about a to-go box, you can just get it and be done with it. Even during the peak summer heat this place is still kept cool and comfortable. The bathrooms are nice and clean.

Pizza was delicious- salads were very good. Not fancy and liked the atmosphere. My first time and we had 12 people. We will come back!

The wait was not long at all. They quoted us 45 minutes for our wings and pizza but came back in ~20 and got our to go order. A perfect Christmas environment that puts holiday cheer on your pizza!
It’s been years since I ate here after they closed the Yucaipa location which was a long time ago lol … so I was looking forward to retrying my old favorite-The Old Prospector- it was still very good just needed a lil more sauce and I think it would’ve been perfect. The cheese bread is really good. I’m definitely going make my way back to try some more. The lady who worked the counter was very nice and helpful. So definitely definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for good pizza and a strong menu of options that u won’t get anywhere else.
I love this place. Great food, vibes and workers. The bathroom floor was a little sticky but nothing terrible. I got the chicken Alfredo and it was really good surpassing all expectations. The pizza was also good. Gluten free options there which was nice. Fountain drinks were Pepsi but they had a big fridge full of others drinks Which I liked. I liked the decor and thought the atmosphere was calm and delightful. I would definitely go here again. Also the to-go boxes are very pretty
I have been coming to gourmet pizza shop for going on 14 years. This place is amazing. It is the best pizza I’ve had in California. It is a mom and pop shop and relaxing place to eat. Staff is fantastic always on point. Their pizza toppings are out of this world hahaha you’ll see. They have something for everyone. I have had quite a few different pizzas here myself. My favorite is the Old Prospector. You can get it as they make it, which I do from time to time. Or add black olives, red onions, mushrooms, and artichoke. It’s delicious and a must try. Don’t forget a order of there chicken wings, they are also delicious. They have a great beer selection and beer from hangar 24. What more can you ask for.
This was a solid place, I definitely didn't know what to expect. They definitely do things differently, like putting the cheese above the toppings, with a thick crust in an unusual kind of dough. It was different but I liked it enough. Because I wasn't familiar with the menu I think that I ordered wrong, the food is okay don't get me wrong. I'll definitely come back and do a better job of ordering. For the amount of food I got the prices were reasonable. The interior was kind of meh, The staff was friendly enough, plenty of parking nearby and they had clean bathrooms.
Good pizza, good vibes. I think this is a Friday night thing, it was a little slow opening for lunch on a Saturday. The 7" pizza special ( Tony Benoni) with salad and drink included was good, the fountain drinks aren't branded, so you can get Cola, Diet Cola, or other flavors. They were good, too! Prices were very reasonable.

Looks smal from the outside but it's very spacious. Service was great an and the food was amazing. Very authentic Italian food. Can't wait to go again.
Pictured are the ranch style fries, which are delicious and recommend. Boneless bbq wings that I would never recommend nor get again. The pizza pictured is the Old Prospector 14". The pizza came out fresh, so fresh that the whole cheese and toppings would fall right off as we grabbed slices. Perhaps to heavy too.
We stopped in for lunch. My chicken tortilla soup was fresh made but needs more seasoning. My husband had the pastrami sandwich. It was also a little lack luster. Very cute atmosphere. Looks like a fun place to go with a crowd. Ordering is a little odd. The menus are located by the front door. Not one up by the register where you order and pay. My soup was listed $6 on the menu, but charged as $7.
I really wanted to love this place because so much about it is great. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the toppings are creative, fresh, and full of flavour. You can tell they put thought into their menu, and honestly, a lot of the pizzas sound amazing. But the crust...the crust completely ruined it. Thin crust, sure, but somehow it was dry, dense, and basically like biting into a biscuit. It made an otherwise really tasty pizza feel off. The toppings had all the potential to make it an amazing meal, but the base completely let it down. Every bite reminded me that even the best toppings can't save a crust that doesn't hold up. It's such a shame because everything else about the place is solid - the creativity, the flavours, the atmosphere - it's all there. But that crust keeps it from being truly great. If they could fix it – crisp it up, give it that light, airy thin-crust texture it should have - this place would be absolutely next-level. That being said I would come here again, albeit with lower expectations.
Strapped for time on a Sunday, unable to make it to Lamppost pizza in Corona before the ball games start. Good reviews, wanted to check it out. Ordered pizza, wings, and jalapeño poppers to-go. The pizza was extremely basic, nothing special about the dough or flavors. Dough was dense, homemade quality, good flavor. Wings must have been baked instead of fried, because they were gummy and chewy and cold. Barely covered in buffalo sauce, dry on the outside with no sauce on the side. Threw them away, a waste of $17. Jalapeño poppers were covered in a bland corn powder or something. Also a waste of money. Nearly $70 and I deeply regretted not just going to lamppost and missing part of the game. They do have a lot of toppings, so they’re fun in that regard. I’m certainly not returning.
I was actually a bit disappointed…. I heard so much about this place and my wife was excited to go to this place. Maybe the expectation ruined my experience. The variety on the menu looked great and the atmosphere was fantastic. This is where the however comes in, my son’s Mac & Cheese came in cold in the center, my wife’s pizza didn’t come for over 20 minutes. Why did it arrive so late, they apparently messed up the order. Her pizza was the smallest. Crazy things happen and things were not happening. It wasn’t our turn, perhaps you will have better luck.

I wanted to love his pizza shop. The decor inside was beautiful, the employees were friendly. The pizza was itself was terrible. The attached pizza was called the “Peter Pepperoni”. I don't enjoy the taste of burnt pepperoni. I do like crispy pepperoni however their pizza top is covered with burnt pepperoni which well well cooked passed crispy. It over powered any other flavor that no one in my family could finish a single slice.
This place is very old. There is zero customer service. You take a menu, sit down, go up to order what you want. Our food was terrible. Spaghetti and meatballs were bagged. No flavor. Bread was hard. Pizza had too much cheese. Drinks taste like trash. I would Not recommend this place to anyone ever. If you are a bigger person you will Not fit in the bathroom stall.
Pizza toppings were raw on 2 7, inch pizzas. A $20 small order of wings were undercooked, had no flavor and were overpriced. Will not be going back.
Terrible cheap ingredients . Nothing gourmet with those lazy canned and frozen toppings.
Mediocre service, not good not bad. The issue here was the food, I hate to say it but my wife had the worst chicken Alfredo she has ever had. It tasted like canned and boiled chicken, Alfredo sauce was bland and had an extreme flavor of cream cheese for some reason. Entire plate was left behind. We also had pepperoni pizza and lasagna and although not horrible I feel that for almost 90 dollars it should have been decent at least. Quality is not there. Likely will not return. Probably not recommended.
This is the third time I’ve arrived around 8:00 PM only to be told the restaurant is closed — even though their listed hours clearly state they close at 9:00 PM. If you consistently shut down early, you should update your hours to reflect that. It’s incredibly frustrating to plan a visit only to be turned away yet again. Also, having signs at the front that say “WE ARE OPEN” while denying service sends a very mixed message. Please consider being more accurate and respectful of your customers’ time.
The outside and place is overall nice and even the inside but the lady taking our order was rude and easing her voice, the music shouldn’t be so loud to the point where you can’t hear me and I can barely hear you. I came here with my friend and we got the 4 slice pizza and jalapeño poppers. Most of the tables were dirty with crumbs and plates. Once we got our food it was so disappointing. it was super small and sometimes size does count when it’s $7 for 4 slices for pizza. The smell was bad and the bottom of the pizza was wet. The jalapeño poppers were good but that’s the only thing that me and my friend enjoyed here. I don’t recommend this place to people who want to eat here, save your money and go somewhere else.
