This Chinese family run restaurant seems like just a little hole in the wall restaurant from outside but it’s quaint n’ cozy inside. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I love the iced flavored teas and the Chop Suey is the best I’ve ever had, made with fresh vegies and soft succulent shrimp. YuM !
We had the eggrolls, Mapo Tofu, and the Orange Chicken. Everything was delicious, and fast.
Best noodles in town, the crab rangoon and veggie roll combo is truly a comfort treat for me now! Lovely vibe as well, definitely worth a try :)

The best Chinese food, the price, service and quality are all amazing!
It’s a very small, family run business. There is an extensive list of vegetarian options and the menu is in english. The pricing is more than fair, I would really recommend giving them a try. I have ordered to go in person as well as online and food comes out in a timely manner. We ordered the chicken fried rice today as well as a vegetarian beef fried noodle dish. The amount of food you get for the price is very generous. Food is good and the vegetarian beef impressed me along with the saucy crispy noodles. Staff was able to answer any questions we had and checked on us and other patrons periodically. The owner’s children are usually present in the restaurant but that seems normal for a family run restaurant. They are very young kids and I have a lot of realistic expectations for children in general. It is easy to pass it by; from the outside it is hard to tell when they’re open but it is a great local place and I would really recommend it.
My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years and never disappoints. The chef and his staff are great and always listen to our orders. Highly recommend! Our go-to are the vegetable egg rolls, tofu with green beans and plain lo-main
Every time I come here I remember why it's my favorite restaurant in Redlands. The lemon chicken and lo mein are incredible and the drinks are very well made and sweet. I haven't found a single thing on the menu. I didn't absolutely love.
Food is fresh and made to order. Spicy orange chicken is crispy, wonton soup was amazing, and everything I order it never disappoints.
The best Chinese food I've had in a long time. I had the Crab Ragoons and Beef Suey and everything was made perfectly and jad great portions. The food I took home made wonderful leftovers after I got out of the bar later lol I think its a cute little family who runs it and the atmosphere in there was so nice and cozy, it make a good quiet place to study. I'm sad I live so far from it because I want to come back again and again!!!
Slumber Party Friday Night & we ordered from here... my first visit, but not my Grand-daughter's! She raved about the food& it is wonderful! The service was so friendly. I sat & waited for my order and the vibe is festive with the Christmas decorations. I will definitely be back.
Delicious food, and the value for the lunch specials is through the roof. Been coming here for years, and plan to come for many more.

This place is by far one of the best local restaurants in the area. Not too expensive and amazing quality food. 👌 chefs kiss

Such a wonderful restaurant. Very authentic Chinese food. Delicious. The vibe felt so homey and cozy. The host and chef were both so nice.

Food was delicious and I came at a quiet time so I was able to hear the beautiful music. Got one order each of curry chicken, egg rolls, and rose milk tea. Was able to feed two people with one serving of each food. Curry chicken came with steamed rice and had a delicious spice but not overwhelming. Egg rolls how you would expect, crispy outside. The rose boba milk tea was Delicious! Very strong beautiful rose flavor! Place was beautiful with gorgeous pictures as well.
It was OK. Saturday afternoon and still got the lunch special, Kung Pao Shrimp, but it tasted off. It was like the shrimp still had a corn starch coating. Hot and sour soup was OK, the meal came with salad and egg roll. All were home made. The menu states, "No MSG," was it missing that? Porcelain dishes and tea kettle, the presentation was impressive. All for $14.99.
Your run-of-the-mill American Chinese restaurant with both classic take out and dine in options. I got the lunch special and it was quite a good deal! Comes with soup, rice, and small appetizer. Interesting that the food came in a cardboard box but hey it’s more eco friendly!

While passing through Redlands, my wife and I decided to stop by Wok-In Café since she had tried it before and was open to coming back. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, so we were able to sit anywhere. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Beef, and the food did take some time to come out—which usually signals that it’s made fresh, and that part was appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience was mixed due to the atmosphere. The kids sitting at the table next to us appeared to be the owner’s children, and they were very loud and running around the dining area. There didn’t seem to be much effort to keep things under control, and it made the environment feel unprofessional. At times, it honestly felt more like being at Chuck E. Cheese than a sit-down restaurant, which took away from enjoying the meal. The service itself was okay, nothing terrible, but the lack of attention to the disruptive noise was disappointing. 👉 Final Thoughts: The food was decent and seemed freshly prepared, but the noisy environment—especially with the owner’s kids running around—really impacted our visit. Because of that, I’m not sure we would come back again.
Start with the positive. Service was nice, felt like a happy family owned place. The Delicious: Rice was perfect, just like mom would make it. Mongolian Beef spicy, wasn't really spicy, but had great flavor and texture, especially the zucchini. Egg flower soup was well balanced, a great portion for the price and hot (temperature wise) The super disappointing: Honey walnut chicken- powdery and not crispy also barely any sauce, mostly poorly dressed. Chow mein was flavorless. I had to add some sauce I had in the fridge just to get some satisfaction. Steamed Dumplings were not like pictured but more like gyoza, really wet like not steam wet but like boiled? Not sure what happened there, but definitely not dumpling I expect. The flavor of the inside wasn't bad once your dipped it in a bunch of sauce. Total cost before tip after tax $61

Maybe it was a bad day for the cook. Food presentation was severely lacking. Food color was off. No veggies in fried noodles dish. Chicken in noodles looked like it was cut with a meat cleaver small chunks , large chunks. No obvious care on how it looks. Taste was okay if you got pass the Grey color of noodles. Owners seem nice but little was said. No white rice was available only fried rice with no egg or vegetables was presented. Plates were random and didn't match. It was an off experience. I think they can make some small changes and make the experience so much better. First time I've been there not sure if I'll give a second.
Was really hoping to finally have a Chinese restaurant to replace the closed Lotus Garden but sadly no. The decor is classic but the food was off with weird flavor.

Wok in Cafe. That's what I did! I walked in the restaurant, looking for a good bowl of Wonton Soup. I stood there waiting for a few minutes until a woman sitting in the back booth noticed me . After the soup was delivered, I thought they had gotten my order wrong. It look disgusting, just water with a few stringy vegetables floating in the week looking broth. 8 little macaroni looking wontons. I had to count them, they were lost at sea in the large bowl of water. It was possibly the worst Wonton Soup Ever! I even had to Google what I thought I was ordering. I have had many bowls of Wonton all over the world. I wok'd out of the restaurant, never to return. If you can't make soup correctly, I question the quality of the rest of the menu. Bummer, because I love Chinese food!
We had 4 meals and all of them were disappointing. My standards were pretty low to begin with after reading many reviews. Well, I can understand why. Our lo mein had no flavor. The seafood and beef (what little we got) was overcooked and chewy. The egg rolls were soggy inside and we threw half of them away. Half the food we ordered ended up in the trash. Such a waste.

We eat here but had all kind of food issues. Won't go back. The hot and sour soup was awfull.
