Recently did a surprise 45th bday party event there at the wine cellar. It's such a cozy space for s small party. The food was good but the service was amazing. I don't give 5 stars but I really felt with the level of service that we received that the staff deserve it. Everyone was friendly, pleasant and respectful that we encountered even if they did not service our party. Thank you for making this a wonderful memory for us.

Food is amazing and staff it very friendly and helpful. We held a baby shower there and chose the pizza party buffet style. Everyone was very pleased with the taste of the food. I would highly recommend

The party room (the wine cellar) at this venue was nothing short of beautiful. The staff was EXTREMELY accommodating and there was nothing they wouldn't do. Danielle was an extreme help with all the preliminary setup of the package and answered any questions had regarding the space and event. Our server for the night, Alice, was the absolute best. She was sweet and genuinely willing to serve. I loved how well the venue treated us and allowed us to have a great time. Thank you so much for everything!

My friends and I recently visited this restaurant for a group dinner, and we were all very impressed with the food and service. The pizzas were all delicious, with our favorites being the margarita and the white pizza. The appetizers were also great, and we especially enjoyed the bang bang shrimp and the calamari. The service was a bit slow, but it was worth it for the quality of the food. We ended up packing up a combination of all the leftovers, which was more than enough for lunch the next day. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Vesta Woodfired in Jersey City is a Must-visit for a great atmosphere and even better food. The woodfired pizza, especially the Margherita, is perfectly charred and delicious. Don’t miss out on their homemade pasta and grilled octopus. Service is friendly and efficient, making every dining experience enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality Italian cuisine.

It’s a beautifully decorated restaurant with good good. They also have a bar on the other side. We had fried artichoke appetizer, fried calamari and empanadas as appetizer. I love artichoke but they had some hard part outside of the artichoke heart that I wasn’t really enjoy eating it. As main course we ordered 4 different pizza margarita, vegetariano, piccante(spicy) and bianco mushroom all of them was nice. It was surprise birthday for me and our server and two other serves even sang for me! We really enjoyed it.

Can't say enough good things about this place!! Food was delicious! Lovely staff and really nice atmosphere. Definitely going back. The calamari was the best we've had! We were here for a baby shower.

The pizza here it’s soooo good! The dough had a touch of sour like sourdough. The sauce was amazing and the ingredients were so fresh. I had the Margherita with pepperoni and the mushroom truffle one with onion- both full of flavors.

First off our server Ozum was the nicest sweetest server i ever had! I told her i wanted some gourmet pizza & she suggested the truffle butter & prosciutto argula & the Margherita. I said go ahead make my day & she did! All of the pizza was delicious! Especially the Truffle Butter pizza was very flavorful with the mozz & fontina combined with the truffle its a party in your mouth! The lemonchello cooler was great too!I loved the dim setting and the rustic look of the place. Vesta wood fired restaurant is a great spot in East Rutherford!

We had our baby shower in the outdoor tent and it was everything we hoped for. Planning with Mirna was great, very detailed and responded to every question we had right away. The day of the shower the staff was great. The servers were on top of everything and super friendly. Food was out of this world. Everyone left the party saying how amazing the food was, even our pickiest of eaters. Oh yea and the price could not be beat. Will definitely have another party here.

I'm telling you...hands down, my favorite pizza in New Jersey 😩😩😩 it was so good omg, I had to take my time. I'm literally in love. I had the boscuioto and it was so flavorful, I could even taste the smoke in the bread. The avocado toast bruscetta was amazing as well, but it does take a minute to chew. The vegetarian option was not as great but still really good, just a bit sweet because of the Brussel sprouts.

Really nice place and lots of vegetarian options. Clean, well priced and great service. Interior is nice.

A great place to grab a bite after seeing a movie at nearby Kerasotes Showplace in Harmon Meadow. Service is surprisingly excellent. We shared the rigatoni vodka & margarita pizza- both were well made. The Caesar salad is the best I’ve had in a while!

Hosted my anniversary party here Sept 11 at 7:00pm. Alejandro and the other lady ( sorry forgot your name) were very attentive to all the guests and brought out all the food on time and accommodated for dietary needs. They both had excellent communication and customer service skills they definitely deserve a raise. Beautiful location to host parties and events. Thank you everyone for making our special day even better!

While the apps, pizza and cocktails were all aces, the thing that stands out most here is the level of service that is provided. It's rare to be blown away by service while sitting at a bar for lunch, but thats what Vesta is, rare. Our plates were cleared and reset in a timely manner, bar staff was friendly and efficient, as well as the service staff that brought our food. Thank you to Vesta and its staff! We will be back asap! Always a great dinner @ Vesta- Indoor dining, outdoor seating, or at the bar. Wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Food is consistently well prepared and delicious. A very appealing neighborhood gem.

The food and service here were great, and so was the service. The arancini was delicious. However I was surprised to find that there were no non-alcoholic beers or cocktails on the menu. For a place that has such an extensive bar, it was a surprise.

Food was really excellent had chicken parm. Pasta was just the way I like it. There sauce was outstanding. Pizza thin crust but firm just like in 🇮🇹 Italy.

The food and drinks were delicious (we had a pizza that was cooked to perfection, a martini and a seasonal sangria), our server was prompt and helpful, and the overall ambiance was cozy and clean. If we were local this would definitely be one of our go-to places! Thank you for a terrific meal!

We had our baby shower here for 30 people in the Chandelier Room. It went so well and that is partially due to the AMAZING service and food we received from Vesta. We arrived 1.5 hours early, there was another event that day in their bigger room so there was valet parking (something that I was worried about, so this was great!) we parked our cars and got busy setting up. The servers were ready for us and were asking if we would like anything to drink as we were setting up which was very nice! I had to borrow some tape from the sweet bartender and she never made me feel like I was being a pain in the butt :) The food was so delicious. We went for the brunch package and got the rigatoni vodka, mini meatballs, eggplant rollatini, and the chicken francese. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and was kept well stocked as our guests continued to eat throughout the 3 hour event. Cleanup was a breeze afterwards. Thank you so much to the Vesta Team. I would definitely recommend you have your event here.

The pizza is really good, thin crust, a lot of toppings, tastes amazing! I ordered a small one and they sent me a large one with a cute note on it, that was very nice of them :) will definitely come back to try other food as well!

We had a great time. Food and drinks were amazing. Our bartender, Alice, was awesome - attentive and enthusiastic. Highly recommend all around!

I hosted a party in the wine cellar. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and plentiful. I purchased the drink package and they were consistently at the tables replacing the wine bottles and serving other drinks. I believe the girls who were with us were Nancy and Lisa. They were absolutely phenomenal. I booked the party with Myrna and she was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was what I wanted.

Amazing food! The pizza was absolutely delicious, perfectly baked with great flavor. The calamari were super fresh and cooked just right. Everything tasted high quality and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place — we will definitely be coming back!

Husband and I had cocktails then a glass of wine each, shared eggplant rollatini app, meatballs app, and 2 12 inch pizzas, took home a slice of cheesecake. $125. Very reasonable with very large portions for the apps. Rollatini was very good, meatballs came with a dollop of ricotta. Ring of Fire pizza had a great kick. Nunzio pizza was great. We enjoyed the slice of cheesecake in our pjs. Service was informative, professional, and pleasant. Shout out to Alex. Thanks for a nice evening. Definitely recommend.

Came here for a quick dinner on a Wednesday and we were seated right away with no wait. The service was friendly and patient. We decided to split a pizza and some pastas for the table. Pretty filling and not too bad. However, the olive oil for the table bread was lacking flavor. It was pretty bland

I have some dietary restrictions and unfortunately they’re very strict with customizations. Almost nothing could be replaced on the menu and it’s a very limited menu so it restricted my options way too much. Our order was simple and the food came out decent. We had the shrimp and the chicken parm with a side of truffle fries. Our server was very polite. My husband really enjoyed his drink, it was nicely done. Nice ambience and good crowd.

We were in from CT, googled best food near me, and this little gem popped up . Customer service!! I love a restaurant that is attentive and kind . The food was amazing! I tried Grappa for the 1st time. Interesting taste! Didn't get the pizza, but we ordered a margarita and artichoke with some other veggies. Delicious! The atmosphere was a little different. They had events going on in the dining areas, so seating was limited to 1 community table of about 8 seats or bar seating.

Good pizza - definitely get the vodka artichoke pie. It's delicious, and the pizza dough is light. The Margherita pie should not have sliced tomatoes on it. The steak milanese sandwich special was tender and very tasty. Really nice ambiance, and the service is excellent. Parking is hard to find if the lot is full.

Lovely restaurant. My husband and I were sat at the bar since their two dining areas were reserved for separate events. Atmosphere was lively without being loud. Great service by the bartender. We split the wings and an order of the bolognese (the picture is of half of an order, as the kitchen kindly split it into two bowls). Food was tasty. We also had a bread plate with olive oil before, which we were too excited for to take a picture :) Nice choice!

A standard of mine for great wood fired pizza and general Italian food. Fantastic service and full bar with large selection of wines. Clean vibrant setting and can get rather busy on weekends.

Delicious pizza with very tasty sauce. I got the personal size and it was more than enough for one person. When we arrived the restaurant was packed, and there was no room in the main dining area, so our options were the bar or at the “community” table which was a high top in front of the bar. We sat at that table, and it was fine. Never would have expected to need reservations for a casual place like this, but make one if you want to go for dinner on the weekend.

I don’t usually eat pizza but ordered a few months ago and was really good than today again I ordered same pizza only small size and got something „similar” but really I’m disappointed what I got.

I’m only writing this for the waitress Amanda who made us feel like a burden & disappeared after taking our order. The hostess was more of our waitress than Amanda was. When we asked for the check the hostess dropped it off & of course Amanda came to collect the bill and the tip that she didn’t earn. I normally enjoy visiting Vesta but moving forward I will request other help if Amanda is our appointed waitress.

Food is usually good here. This time a pick up order was off a lot. I hit half sausage and onion and they added $8 for that. I only got 2 full slices with sausage and onion and I got carmelized onion and never asked for that..

It doesn’t taste “wood-fired” at all. The ingredients tasted cheap, not fresh. The crust was super soft, not slightly charred, crispy yet chewy that is usually associated with this type of pizza. The pepperoni pizza was not good, was highly highly disappointed when I opened the box. Still on the hunt for good pizza in the area!

Went on a Monday evening, friendly hostess greeted us and we were seated immediately. Service for our visit was efficient and we did not have to ask for refills of water or wait long for our food. Restaurant was not crowded, ambiance was nice. Our waitress smiled politely but was very difficult to hear when she spoke, seemed timid but friendly. An order of bread sticks with dipping oil was brought to the table and we ordered the bang bang shrimp off the specials appetizer menu, margarita pizza and "it's the guanciale for me" pizza. The bread sticks were very doughy - close to just barely baked, and tasted like yeast. They had some spices on them but not enough to make them flavorful and there were no spices in the dipping oil at all. Traditionally, the sauce in bang bang shrimp is spicy. Unfortunately, there was zero heat or flavor to the sauce. The shrimp were crispy and cooked nicely but served on top of a pool of pink mayo aka bang bang sauce. I asked for the guanciale pizza to be crispy and it did come to me as I requested. The sauce used on both is bland, again very little spices added. Both were full of toppings but no seasoning in the sauce or in the toppings made them bland. Very few pieces of guanciale on the guanciale pizza. Overall, a disappointment. Pizzas were $18 each and appetizer was $19. An expensive dinner we did not enjoy.
