Muy buena tarta de queso. Porcion generosa, se puede compartir perfectamente. Fuimos temprano, sobre las 11am y no tuvimos que esperar, nos atendieron muy bien y fueron muy amables.

Restaurante con un comedor interior íntimo y tranquilo, al que hay que reservar para disfrutar de los platos de su carta. Pedimos un jamón de Jabugo espectacular, para chuparse los dedos, junto con pulpo con patatas y pimentón verde, muy bien preparado. De segundos, calamares fritos y merluza a la koxkera( salsa verde), ambos en su punto. Todo lo acompañamos con un txakoli blanco bien frío, perfecto para la ocasión. De postre, la mejor tarta de queso que he probado: cremosa, equilibrada y sencillamente inigualable. El servicio fue atento y agradable en todo momento. También cuentan con barra y algunas mesas para tapear, e incluso puedes pedir su famoso pastel para llevar. ¡Un sitio que hay que probar al 100%!

Probablemente la mejor tarta de queso de la ciudad. Eso sí, ármate de paciencia: tendrás que hacer una larga cola y conformarte con pedirla para llevar, porque encontrar un sitio libre en el local es casi misión imposible. Al personal, además, le vendría bien dejar caer alguna sonrisa.

¿Cómo no vas a ir a La Viña a por tarta de queso si vas a Donosti/San Sebastián? Esa es la pregunta que la mayoría de gente te hace cuando cuentas que vas a visitar la ciudad. La verdad, no les falta razón. Es una tarta de queso al horno con textura suave y mantecosa, con el toque justo de dulce y sabor a queso (ligero). En cuanto a cantidad está acorde al resto de sitios, dos pedazos finos por aprox 6/7€. Tuvimos la suerte de no tener que esperar cola y poder pedirla para llevar. Repetiremos.

Excelente atención, lugar cómodo, bonito, deliciosa la comida, la tarta de queso es quizá la mejor que he probado!

Personalmente merece totalmente la pena probarlas. Por el precio me hubiese encantado que llevaran una base de galleta más sólida.

Visité La Viña en San Sebastián únicamente por una recomendación muy clara: probar su famosa tarta de queso, considerada por muchos como la mejor. No fui a comer al restaurante, pero sí entré exclusivamente por ese motivo… y sin lugar a dudas puedo decir que es la mejor tarta de queso que me he comido en mi vida. Textura cremosa, sabor intenso pero equilibrado y ese punto perfecto que la hace única. Entendí al primer bocado por qué tiene tanta fama y por qué la gente hace fila solo para probarla. Una visita obligatoria en San Sebastián, aunque sea solo para el postre. 🍰✨

Food was decent. Pinxtos and Tapas were ok so were the mains. Cheesecake is a delight very airy and light serving for the price truly worth it. The cheesecake itself is not a typical Basque cheese served around in the other places of the world this is the real deal and is quite unique.

La Vina Restaurante. This is one of places where people come to find San Sebastian’s best Cheesecake. Apparently, the restaurant also has lots of great foods. - Hake Fish/ cohote de merluza. This dish was absolutely delicious. The meat of the monk fish was cooked perfectly the meat was firm on plate but buttery and silky in mouth. 4.9 stars - Tbone steak. The steak was cooked medium rare as we wanted it to be. Nevertheless we felt that the beef was not as tender as we expect it to be. 4.5 stars - Scramble egg with porcini/ REVUELTO DE HONGOSCHULETA DE BUEY. This dish is also highly recommended. The blend of taste: jamon, porcini and silky. 4.9 star - Sidra Vaso (opening video) is a cider based drink which was uniquely served in San Sebastian 4.5 star The service by server was also excellent (quick and acurate) and courteous. All in all this restaurant is rated 4.9/5.0.

October’25: famous for their basque cheesecake, which didn’t disappoint! Even took some for later :) The line can be long but the service is quick and if you’re lucky you can find space inside. The pintxos are fresh and tasty and the txakoli wine was a good addition when tasting the food. The cheesecake was the worth hype, having tried many other places in San Sebastián and Bilbao - the recipe at La Vina is consistently creamy and soft throughout (not just the tip like other ones)

Super great cheesecake San Sebastian. We ordered at the counter (you have to be patient a bit and confident as it's super packed place)and get it on plates for eating outside which is great as you enjoy it with the crowd in the street! Taste is amazing - super creamy and just wow!

The line was pretty short on a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered their famous Basque cheesecake. It was absolutely delicious. It is lighter and creamier than I've ever had and less sweet. My only regret was getting only one slice per person!

I came a little earlier so missed the big rush, but it was still busy. Good part is I didn’t have to wait in line, only a few minutes at the counter. After trying it I get what the hype is all about. Best description I give is that it was very flavorful, creamy, and the most delectable cheesecake I’ve had. I would say it was a cheesecake with a consistency and texture of flan. Compared to the amount of business they get it’s quite small inside so seating can be difficult. Going early, helped as I was able to secure a place to sit and enjoy my cheesecake.

Incredible. We were only going to have the cheesecake as we heard this was the top place to go. But we couldn’t resist the other dishes too. The gentleman who served us was so friendly and always smiling. We had the meatball, stuffed mussels, plate of jamón and chorizo. Everything was exceptional.

I read about the long queues here but maybe we got lucky as we walked straight up to the counter and were served immediately. We ordered just the cheesecake and got it to takeaway as it was a beautiful day. The cheesecake was delicious - as much as I’d hoped! One portion was definitely enough between two and filled us up for a few hours before lunch. We visited on a Friday around midday.

Well I came in for the real experience and I was not disappointed. What I ike about thi place is the home feeling, the mum cooking style including the famous tarta de queso which tastes no at all over-produced like any other advertised on the market nowadays. Happy to see the place kept its original genuine character both in the settings and in food.

We also tried tortilla española and pastel del pescado and both very very good. We went there around 1 pm and there was no line, we saw a line few hours after when we passed by.

La Viña is an institution in San Sebastián and it earns every bit of the hype. We went for the legendary burnt Basque cheesecake and it did not disappoint, rich, creamy, custardy in the center with that perfect caramelized top. Couldn’t pass it up, and a couple of our friends even went back for a second slice. The octopus with onions and peppers was fresh and perfectly seasoned, making it a great savory start before diving into dessert. The place is always buzzing, but service is quick and the energy adds to the charm. If you’re in town, this is non negotiable, get the cheesecake.

Fabulous cheesecake, worth the hype and a must when visiting San Sebastián. Joined the queue 15 minutes before opening and definitely worth the wait. All seems a little chaotic but we were served very quickly. Delicious creamy cheesecake €6 per slice.

Todo muy bueno sinceramente. Hemos pedido la chuleta de buey, el rape, los entremeses y la tarta de queso. La chuleta deliciosa, la hemos pedido poco hecha y estaba justo al punto exacto. Didn’t have to que for long 10pm on a Sunday. Service was super friendly and quick. Even though I speak Spanish and was first in line, they ignored me for almost 30 minutes just becuase I'm Asian and served everyone who came after me. When they finally took my order, they were rude and asked, “Aren’t you taking a spoon?”with a rude tone they didn’t use with anyone else. The cheesecake was average and overpriced. I also know many other Asians have faced discrimination here. As someone living in Spain, I believe this shop should understand how their disgraceful behavior damages the image of Spain as a country. Fueron muy racistas. Aunque hablo español y estaba primera en la fila, se negaron a tomar mi pedido durante casi 30 minutos solo porque soy asiática y atendieron a todos los que llegaron después de mí. Unfortunately I had bad experience. This particular place probably was recommended to all tourists and there was a queue of tourists to enter. I went to the queue just out of principle, to compare their cheesecake with all other cheesecakes in San sebastian. So, standing in the queue I see tourists taking pictures and every time a waiter says:"1 picture 20 euro" before me was a Chinese woman ordering 1 portion of cheesecake takeaway and waiter says:"1 picture 20 euro, 1 portion of cake 6,50, totally 62 euro" when I heard that I was very upset
