Llegar temprano o reservar, se llena pronto, pero se mueve bastante rápido. La comida deliciosa, hemos pedido diferentes opciones para probar y todo estuvo fabuloso. Y nos atendieron rápido y muy amables. El lugar es pequeño pero se pasa muy bien.

Bar pequeño con mucho encanto. Nosotros estuvimos en la barra y la atención fue muy buena. Los pintxos estaban excelentes, probamos varios y todos nos gustaron. El Txacolí acompañó perfecto. En general, una experiencia super agradable. Para repetir.

Hemos comido súper bien. Nos lo habian recomendado y ha superado nuestras expectativas. Lo mejor es que al decirle que mi mujer es celíaca nos han traído una carta especial para celíacos para ella con raciones y pinchos incluidos. Altamente recomendable.

Producto de primera. La carta entera de pintxos es apetecible y un acierto. Nunca falla. Todos los encurtidos están increíbles y cada ingrediente tiene su protagonismo. Pero, sin duda, el imprescindible es el pimiento relleno de atún con mayonesa. Bien bañado en AOVE. Dulce, sabroso y fresco. Un ambiente muy bueno en un bar de toda la vida. Es de esos a los que siempre cae una visita. También es el sitio perfecto para tomar una simple cerveza con una gilda.

Increíble, siempre que estamos de paso por San Sebastián, nos tomamos unos pinchos y este nos encanta siempre te sorprende. Una de las cosas que más me gusta son las croquetas de queso 😋

Fuimos a tomar unosnpintxos por la tarde. Pudimos sentarnos pero normalmente la gente suele reservar sitio. Los champiñones increíbles. La ensaladilla rusa, espectacular. Tomamos también unas gambas gabardina. Todo muy bueno. Muy recomendable.

Excellent Tapas! Highly recommend this bar/restaurant. Very efficient and friendly service. If you want to try great tapas of San Sebastian, this is a good starting point. This place is very good and very busy during meal times, have patience, grab a beer and wait for a table, it's worth the wait! I've been a traveler to Spain for 20 years, this was some of the best tapas.

We came here on our food tour two days ago, and I couldn’t wait to return on our own. We came on a Wednesday afternoon at about 1:30 and I was pleasantly surprised that we got a table. The stuffed piquillo peppers (with tuna) are a specialty and they are delicious. I returned here because I wanted/needed to have them again. Also got the shrimp with potato salad, scallops, and the Spanish omelette (which is like a tortilla here in San Sebastián). Everything was fresh and delicious. The owner was our waitress and I can’t even tell you how helpful and patient she was. And she spoke English. Not sure where others may have had issues but I find if I’m pleasant, friendly, and gracious I always receive wonderful service. This was no exception. The prices were super reasonable. For all of the pintxos mentioned above, and a glass of wine for both me and my hubby, it was less than €28. I’ll leaving San Sebastián but if I was staying longer I would be back again!

It's just amazing. Come on Easter weekend and waited until the doors opened at 1230. By the time I walked in, it was already busy. Hehe, the pintxos amazing. Got the octopus skewers and chicken. It's a little more expensive than other pintxos bars, but it's not an issue for me.

Delicious food, very quick and excellent service and great atmosphere. Has a local feel to it. Highly recommend the tomato salad with olive oil, simple but divine! The gildas and the mushroom Martinez was some of the best pintxos we’ve had so far. Highly recommend!

Some of the best Pintxos I've had in San Sebastian. Excellent Artichoke and Ham Fritter, great seafood Pintxos too. Beer was cold and service was excellent. Seems to be one of the busier places but just try to squeeze in at the bar

I can't say enough about Bar Martinez, their pintxos are a gastronomic journey to heaven. We've tried a few places in the area however, none come close. Calamari was done perfectly, almost enticed me into another order. They have eggs with shrimps, stuffed peppers, sardines, king crab mayo on fresh bread, the list goes on. One of my favourites....fried chard stalk stuffed with baked ham and cheese 💕 Excited for our next rendezvous.

The food and service were excellent. We sat at the bar and tried the pepper stuffed with tuna which were delicious. Also tried the Gilda (anchovy, chilli peppers and an olive) - a must with a glass of txakoli a carbonated young white wine. Would have been 5 stars but for the state of the ladies toilet.

First time in San Sebastian, and first time eating in the city and at this place. We loved the food although the grilled cubes of loin had a bit of too much oil, but that's my personal taste. The beer was very good, the cheese croquetes were amazing (very soft and creamy). The service was very friendly and attentive, the lady who served us was very careful with my wife allergie to pepper and checked carefully with the kitchen for pepper in the food. The space is very small but cosy. The toilets are old but they were clean. If we return to San Sebantian and want to be sure we eat good food we'll return here for sure.

A very busy place and highly recommend to book. Good & quick service. Wine both blanco and tinto are excellent but slightly let down on pintxos. Scallops were tiny (have seen others posted very fresh and chunky scallops) and tuna bit overcooked. But everything else tasted good.

Había gente porque era la mañana de Nochevieja y estaba concurrido, pero aún y todo les costó una barbaridad atendernos, ni nos miraban. Dije en alto a mis acompañantes que si seguían sin atendernos podíamos ir a otro sitio. Creo que el camarero lo escuchó y dijo que nos atendía enseguida. My friend ordered in English and the guy behind the counter had no problem understanding. Then I asked the guy what was in one of the stuffed snacks (usually cheese or ham). He grabbed it and started putting it on the plate so I switched to Spanish and said "no, que es adentro?" meaning "no, what is inside?" I wanted to know what it was stuffed with before I ordered it. The guy literally rolled his eyes, and in Spanish dropped an F bomb (starts with J in Spanish) and aggressively shouted, "ham!" in Spanish. I know this was not a communication issue on my end because it was super simple Spanish, well within my ability, and my accent is excellent. I ordered the snack. Turns out it was stuffed with artichokes and ham. The place was super super packed and the food was good but just as good as many other places that won't charge tourist prices. There is no reason to go here versus somewhere else unless you like abusive staff. Here is a tip, get out of old town and go to a different neighborhood with fewer tourists. The staff will generally not treat you like trash in those places.
