Opinions de La Limonaia El Cuyo
This place actually has delicously homemade pizza! We went to another "italian" pizza place that served frozen pizza. Here the pizza is made in a fire oven, the beer is cold, the music is good, and the atmosphere is relaxed. 100% recommend.
My wife and I have been to La Limonaia a number of times. We've tried various menu items, the food and service have always been excellent.
Really enjoyed the whole experience. Everything felt easy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food was fresh and delicious, portions were great, and everything came out quickly. The service was friendly, attentive, and relaxed without being pushy. The atmosphere was cozy and casual, with a nice vibe for a laid-back evening. Would definitely come back and recommend it A place to be recommended and should get more attention as it is currently, thank you for the nice restaurant visit
We didn’t sit in the restaurant however we ordered takeaway twice during our stay in El Cuyo. The atmosphere from what we did see seemed nice and welcoming. Something we did notice is that the music noise level is perfect here, a lot of other restaurants in El Cuyo play their music too loud for a conversation. The pizza is wood fired and the best we had in El Cuyo. I would recommend the four cheese pizza! The man should be cooking in Italy it was so good!🩷 Food is very reasonably priced too.
We ordered take out pizza 4 different times from LA Limonia in the 18 days we were in El Cuyo. They have great pizza. I made wood oven pizzas for 2 years at a higher end Italian restaurant in Vancouver. So I know what I'm talking about. I've had gold standard pizza in cities like Rome, Napoli, New York, and Toronto. This little family run restaurant in this little Mexican town measures up to that standard! We never had any other food on their menu, and we always did take away, so that's our experience, but it was a very good experience.
Very charming and welcoming new Italian place. Perfect to enjoy a meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The place is surrounded by a garden of herbs, tomatoes and small lemon trees. We had tuna tartare one night and it was so good that we came back the next day for another tuna tartare and a salmon tartare. Both were amazing!
Great pizza! Excellent service and value! Very, very comfortable restaurant near the playa. We ate there once a week! Try it!

Awesome restaurant in El Cuyo with delicious Pizza. The lemon pie is also delicious. Jorge, the chef was very nice and we loved him.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The food is excellent and the staff provide a great service.
Highly recommend this place, if you can afford it. We went for dinner last night and got pizza, The Diablita and Granja pizzas were amazing, the classica wasn’t great as it was too heavy on sauce and not enough cheese. Service was friendly and fast, our pizzas came within 10 minutes and we could see them cooking the pizzas in the big wood fire oven from our table. The atmosphere was great(they have a couple of kittens who were playing around our table for the duration of our meal), and all in all I would say it was a good experience, despite quite high prices.
English is not spoken well, but you can communicate somewhat with the owner operator. The selection was good. The pizza looked amazing. I was hungry for some meat and ordered the Sirloin steak. It was done perfectly, the presentation was top knotch, regretfully the piece was very tough and grisly. It's not very surprising for a 12 dollar steak. I would probably avoid the sirloin. On the other hand, the ahi tuna was spectacular. The pasta and pizza being eaten around us looked fantastic. I am definitely trying the pizza next time I'm here for a few days.
The food was really good, we ordered the Diablita pizza and tagliatelle. Great quality on both. Service left a lot to be desired, from the initial prolonged wait to get our drinks, to having to ask multiple times for our cheque. It was a good 30-40 minutes before we finally got the cheque. Once we did, counter to what it shows on their Google profile, they do NOT accept credit cards, so we had to take another 20 minutes walking to the only ATM in town, and back. Definitely won’t be back, and probably won’t recommend.

Pizza was very good but sadly it couldn’t make up for the gnocchi which were store bought and topped with a very probably store bought sauce definitely not worth 240 pesos. They should stick to what they do well.
Way too expensive for what you get for. Pizza was OK, but it wasn’t worth the price. I got two beers and they were really overpriced based on what you pay in other places nearby. Finally, I ordered a tiramisu and it was very morbid, not what you should get for a similar dessert. Won’t come back again.
