Such a peaceful elegant classy Pub. Food was off the hook, waitress was excellent. Enjoyed my birthday thank you very much. My friends and I will definitely be back! Must try the Bacon wrapped meatloaf, oh yes!

36 Handles is an Americanized version of a Gastropub. Gastropub... what? Meaning a British hybrid of pub and restaurant. The menu is a touch above basic pub grub. The offerings are diverse with salads, sandwiches, burgers, apps, and entrees ranging from pasta, salmon, meatloaf, steak, and gotta have fish n chips which they do. I've had the sliders. They tasted fresh made. Basic solid grub. Nothing culinary groundbreaking. Kiddos are welcome; they have kids menu options as well. But the layout is open floor and the noise level can get loud especially on event nights. And in true pub style, they got you covered on beer. They got bottled ( near 20 choices), stouts, IPAs, pale ales, lager/pilsners, blonde ales, sours/ciders/kombucha. Hankering for a variety? Well then try a flight $12-$16. Plus on certain nights, they host live music and trivia.

This is an Irish Bar! They had No Guinness!! No Gummy Worm Beer and Pinny Elder beer!! The bar tender did her best to find something for us to drink. Hamburger was well very good but the lack of beer was ridiculous!!

While it's a fun place, music, before the band was too loud. Hubby said he was served skunk beer,2,times. Food itself was good, although a bit over priced. The band , Innersoul, was very good & lots of good energy. Had fun, but not sure if we would go again.

First time possibly the last time. Stopped in for lunch. Fish and chips were good. The portions are small I probably needed 2 or 3 orders for myself. Large drink selection.

Searched Google for Fish & Chips and this place popped up, just 8 mins away! Called and placed an order for 2 orders of Fish & Chips and the polite woman confirmed that it was 2 pieces of fish per order. Get back home and find out these are the smallest and least crunchy fish fillets I’ve ever had. Crazy small portions that weren’t as great as the reviews and pictures here made it seem. And $50!! Smh. Very disappointing

So I ordered their O.G. Cottage Pie on Doordash, and I gotta say I was pretty disappointed. The food did taste pretty good, however the presentation and portions were very subpar. I would expect that something like a Shepherd's pie, without any structure of it's own, would be served in a bowl. I was rather shocked when I saw that the stew was tossed into a generic to go box, where it inevitably all sloshed to one side. This is not the fault of the delivery driver, and this would have almost certainly happened no matter what. Next, I would like to address the portions. In the photo, I have a tea spoon (NOT a table spoon) for reference (Note that the photo is taken after I have only taken a single small bite from the front left corner of the dish). So, you can see that I was only able to get about 8-9 smallish bites from this meal that I paid a whopping $21 (not including delivery fees) for! I don't think it's unreasonable to be at least a little miffed when I pay $21, and I get what I would consider to be a kids-sized meal of a dish that is generally associated with large, hearty portions. The only redeeming aspect to this dish was that yes, it did taste very good (thus the 2 stars and not 1), and I bet if I had eaten at the restaurant I would most likely have had a better experience. However, in this age where online and delivery orders are far more prevalent, I think the best way for restaurants to avoid reviews like this is to simply not offer delivery until sloppy orders like this never happen.

Quite literally the worst food. Ordered four things off the menu which included a salad that I could only take two bites out of next was a sandwich and the bread tasted like it was $.50 tasted like it was from Goodwill. The bread is very nasty and absolutely no quality. The fries had no salt no flavor. All the food is very plain after leaving the restaurant. I had a stomach ache for three days.

The burger was so bad one bite was enough. It was so inedible. The sweet potatoe fries were good but the overall quality of both our meals was inadequate. Wont come back. And we tried to like it. The waitress even asked if there was anything wrong with the food, to which I said it was not good. She said I'm sorry. Here's your check. Very disappointing.

I called 36 Handles tonight to make sure they were open. We were told "Yes" kitchen open until 9pm. When we arrived they were having karaoke and had a full bar. (Picture attached) We asked for a table for 3 and were told the kitchen was closed. We stated we just called and asked and were told 9pm. The hostess went and asked and sure enough "they decided to close early" So we explained we had called 10 minutes earlier.. keep in mind it isn't even 8:30 pm yet.. I am so shocked and dissapointed. The staff did not care that they had just said they would be open until 9pm. The place was packed!! They lost so many Folsom locals lately.. I literally was told I better call because they are known for this.. So I am now sitting at a restraunt called Lazy Dog with my friends who are locals to Folsom because they are open per there actual posted Hours!!!! Please look at my pictures so you can see I'm telling you is true!! Don't waist your time going to a place that doesn't care or want your business enough to actually be open for food 10 minutes after you call to verify.. I would give 0 stars if I could!!!! Avoid!!! Rating FAILURE!!! AVOID!!! POOR SERVICE!!! I THINK IVE SAID ALL I CAN!!!
