Comimos en la Arrocería El Ravatjol y la verdad que salimos muy contentos. De entrantes pedimos pescaditos y calamar a la romana, muy buenos y en su punto. Luego una paella de mariscos con mucho sabor y buena cantidad. La cerveza bien fría, como debe ser. El ambiente es sencillo y familiar, y las camareras fueron super atentas en todo momento. Un sitio al que sin duda volveremos.

Una experiencia siempre agradable, volverlos a visitar volverá a probar esos ricos arroz es que preparan , enhorabuena por siempre mantener ese nivel

This restaurant looks fairly normal but the food was amazing. We didn't have time for paella which we regret as judging by the standards of the tapas we had it would have been amazing. The calamares literally melted in the mouth. The best I've ever had and I've had a lot, in many different places. The Esgarrat was delicious, our first time trying this local dish. The perfect place to have a very tasty lunch after a boat trip through the parque nacional de Albufera.

Really nice and actually authentic spanish food which is a rare find in central valencia. Eating literally any type of paella here is a must and trying the local dish All i Pebre is a my personal suggestion.

Estuve comiendo un arroz meloso de marisco que no estaba nada mal, pero me gustaron más los entrantes estaban bastante sabrosas. La terraza tiene una vista muy agradable, el interior del local tiene una decoración sin muchas pretensiones, la atención y el servicio fue bueno, la verdad es que ese día no había mucha gente con lo cual el servicio era muy fluido.

Tradición. Restaurante con terraza exterior y dos salones. Uno bajo y otro arriba. Puedes pedir a la carta, o menú. El menú, relación calidad/precio, es bastante destacable positivamente. Buenas tapas y arroces. Servicio atento y rápido.

We came here as a group of 10 and ordered a mariscos paella and a rabbit and chicken paella with some entrees. The paellas were very tasty bit our favorite was the chicken one. The sangria was good and enough for 5 people. Come early because it gets busy. We had to sit outdoor as indoor was fully booked. By 3 pm there was almost nothing left. The patatas bravas we're ok but I thought they were meant to be hot/spicy. There was no Anguilla left but they gave us some broth and it was perfect to dip the bread in. The bread was toasted, fresh and perfect as a side.

Good food and service. Nice friendly atmosphere. Filled all the boxes for a lunch. Had grilled vegetables and a seafood piella for 2. Coffee and cheesecake. €50. Looks like they have a set lunchtime menu but not offered to us. Generally happy with the fair. 👍

Excellent menu del dia for the price. €20 per person for starter, main, desert or coffee and bread. The tellinas were perfect and the squid was delicious. The senyorete rice was very tasty too.

Vine desde Australia a probar este restaurante. La comida deliciosa!! Entradas, plato fuerte y postre estuvieron muy bien. Precios buenos también pero lastimosamente el servicio fue malo, el mesero Vicente estuvo a cargo de mi mesa y su atención no fue buena, tardaba mucho en atendernos y traer lo que ordenábamos, además su trato no fue bueno a la hora de pasar las cosas a la mesa.

Reservamos a las 14:00 de la tarde desde el día anterior con un grupo de 5 personas. No comenzamos a comer las paellas hasta las 15:40. Yo entiendo que haya mucha gente, pero la idea de reservar es que se tenga en cuenta la hora para la paella. Además, pusieron una jarra de tinto de verano imbebible por la cantidad de azúcar que llevaba (desde cuando lleva azúcar el tinto de verano?) y la paella estaba regular, para mí que o no llevaba azafrán o no lo suficiente. Esperaba un servicio y una calidad mejores, aunque los camareros fueron majos, la gestión fue malísima.

Agradezco la atención de las camareras. Todas las chicas muy gentiles y atentas. Haciendo esta salvedad la atención del encargado fue reprochable , nos dejo con la palabra en la boca cuando le preguntamos si la paella qué nos sirvieron era de conejo y pollo, sólo estábamos solicitando confirmar la orden porque desde nuestra perspectiva no sirvieron el conejo. Lo único que vimos tal como aprecia en la foto fueron piezas de pollo e hígado. Nuestra intención fue obtener una aclaración y verificar que la orden fue la correcta pero al escalar con el encargado, el Señor solo atinó de mala ganas en decir que nos cobrarían como de pollo y se dio media vuelta dejándonos con la palabra en la boca. La tarta de queso es un 1 de 5,no la recomiendo.

Menú a 21,50. Tomamos 2 menús y éramos 3 (2 adultos y 1 niño de 10 años), era suficiente. Comida buena sin ser algo especial. Buena atención con sonrisa, personal bastante pendiente de la felicidad del comenzal. Gracias.

We never intended to be in El Palmar. In the end it was a nice place to be. We ordered the shrimps and paella fish (we thought we would get fish). The paella was delicious and different. We found the structure good and tastes very delicious. There was enough shrimps and calamaris. The Socaratt was minimal, but that didn’t effect the taste. The sangria had three (3) huge ice cubes. This serves less sangria. Two (2) huge ice cubes would’ve been decent. (Reference: a bar at the beach in Valencia where we got two (2) huge ice cubes) The only point was that the grilled gambas were delicious and had good taste. That sound while chewing on it. It was as if there were grains of beach sand on the gambas. This was also in the paella. The food was delicious, yet I will deduct 2 stars for the sandy structure. It was a cloudy weather and we dat inside. The atmosphere is okay. The staff were good. Could speak English. To be honest if we happen to be in El Palmar again we would definitely ho back.

We were in the restaurant for more than 2 hours because of extremely slow service and because 3 other tables got for their food earlier even though we ordered before them. We had the 2 persons menu for around 15€ / person, which is great value I think. Appetizers were good as well as paella, but still nothing special. I recommend you to go somewhere else if the restaurant looks full.

La peor paella de El Palmar. De "socarrat" nada y es lo más importante, más salada de lo normal. Quería enseñar a mis amigos la cocina valenciana auténtica y era un fracaso. Paso por El Palmar muy a menudo (no voy a indicar los restaurantes que me gustan mucho) pero nunca volveré a este. Pero otro plato "anguila frita" es una bomba, fantástico!!! Pero íbamos a por la paella.

Servicio pésimo tuvimos que esperar hasta que tuvimos que tener que Llamar a los camareros para que nos atendieran. Las tapas llevaban varias horas cocinadas así que horrible, las paellas dejaban mucho que desear a mi manera de puntuar un uno. Creo que es la primera en la última vez que voy a este restaurante sinceramente no lo recomiendo para nada.

The food was average, nothing special, and service was incredibly slow. The environment is awful. The place smells like cat urine because they have injured, starving, and fighting strays attacking each other and spraying because they aren't neutered. One poor girl had a horrible eye infection and was begging for food. It isn't pleasant to see animal suffering at a restaurant. Please, someone, help these animals and make it a better environment.

On a busy Public holiday the tables were all full, I asked a waitress if it were possible to have a cup of coffee, she suggested ordering at the bar. I asked the helpful lady at the bar who was only too obliging, she made the coffee but her boss, small, bald man, refused to take my money or let me have the coffee which was already made! Stupid man! He is obviously not hungry enough! This has been a rare bad occasion in Spain. We are staying in the area and will avoid this restaurant as a result!

I am afraid it has to be one star. The room is just a room, nothing pleasing being there. We ordered 2 small bottles of water (no big bottle in stock, so we had to order one each), 2 cans of coke, a low priced bottle of white wine, a starter portion of universally common fried squid rings (but they refer to that as "calamares a la romana" which is a completely different dish). Then the ... ready for it? .... Paella A La Valenciana... ta-ta.... to find out it consisted of a thin lay of dry rice, too dry, half of it stuck to the metal pan which gave the metal taste to the rice. With the rice there were 2 pieces of rabbit, 2 pieces of chicken and about 10 mid sized snails half of them over burnt and tasting of burnt and too dry. The (too dry) rice tasted mainly of stock cube! Maybe there was saffron because the rice had some colour but rather too dark, rather than the nice yellow saffron I get when I cook paella. The only other ingredients I could see were common green beans and a couple of large white beans. Add one coffee and 2 flans: €70 - I regret I didn't look at the bill more closely, considering the place were it is the price paid was a bit overboard.
