Hubby and I came here after we found gender of baby and they did not disappoint very delicious food and was not too pricey the waitress could pay a little more attention to refills but other than that it’s a 10 🩷
During our visit, I ordered the sampler, which included a variety of appetizers and small plates that showcased some of the restaurant's signature flavors. My wife chose the country-fried steak, served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables on the side—all of which were cooked to perfection and richly flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; every dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Our waitress was very polite and friendly, consistently checking on us to ensure we had everything we needed and providing attentive service throughout. The overall experience was delightful, and we are already looking forward to returning soon.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is an American chain of restaurant and gift stores with a Southern country theme. They have more than 650 branches located in USA. Cracker Barrel's menu is based on traditional Southern cuisine, with appearance and decor designed to resemble an old-fashioned general store.
We had the chance to go a few months ago for breakfast and was a great choice. The breakfast was so tasty, we order Old Timer’s Breakfast and Momma’s Pancake Breakfast and all the food was so tasty and with great prices. They have a huge parking por and all the crew was so nice with us.
Cracker Barrel never disappoints! Wait staff is super friendly. The food is always delicious no matter what you order. My one suggestion would be a little better sound proofing. When the place is hopping (which is common) the noice level can get really loud. The side dishes alone are worth the trip, but everything on the menu is really well flavored and cooked to near perfection. Prices are reasonable.
We never go wrong with Cracker Barrel. I love their country, good cooking, and the fact that they also have healthy platters to choose from. We enjoyed from pancakes and their famous fresh biscuits to savory grilled chicken and veggies. Amaya, our server was super attentive and nice, providing us with excellent service, and the ambiance was very cozy, allowing us to enjoy a wonderful brunch and catch up with my friends. The other thing I love about them is the store. They have so many cute knickknacks and other things that you can purchase for your home or as gifts, some of them that take me back in time. I so love browsing through it, on my way in and out. Overall, we had a great experience.
This is a family gathering staple. There is literally something for everyone on the menu, and the breakfast is a force to be reckoned with. Some of the all-time classics like fried chicken and chicken Fried Steak just never go out of style. Service has always been decent and consistent. They have great portion sizes and very hearty food, and you won't leave hungry!
I can't get over how popular this place is! We went there on Windy Sunday thinking there would be a small crowd and were we surprised. It was packed with a hungry crowd. I enjoy shopping for small gifts here and am always entertained by their variety of items. Since there were so many people shopping and waiting to be seated, I didn't mind waiting because I thought I was actually going to have time to really browse around. It is such a fun place! Time flies when you have so much to look at and before I knew it we were called to be seated. Nicole was our server and immediately brought our nenus and drinks. It took me awhile to decide what I wanted to order because I could not decide on breakfast or lunch. Both menus have so much to select from. I decided on their french toast and topped them with their country fried apples. Oh my! What a perfect combination! Very tasty and my side was their hash brown casserol. I would order that again. It goes great with the coffee! Thank you to our waitress! She is an excellent server!
Fantastic experience. Another first for me, I’ve always almost gone to Cracker Barrel, this time I actually pulled the trigger. The food came out fast, fresh, and just the way we wanted it. Signature flavors to say the least, I should of gotten a box of pancake mix for the country store inside. Bottom line, it’s worth the drive and the money.
As always, very consistent, comfort food. The food was hotter than normal and I absolutely LOVE that. My belly was so happy after a long trip. Our server didn't come back to refill our drinks and that didn't make me happy when a soda is $3 but hopefully she was new. The ladies at the front got us a drink to go and that fixed it. Teamwork....
Excellent food. The menu ranges from classic breakfast items, to a Steakhouse quality ribeye. The food is down home sized and very good. The service is small town friendly. And the gift shop is wonderful. Old time treats, jewelry, clothing and home decor goods. I've yet to see anyone leave disappointed or hungry.
I am never disappointed with breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is consistently excellent as well as the service. My favorite is the pecan pancakes.

We stopped in at the Cracker Barrel visiting El Paso TX. Loved it. Great service and the food was delicious.

I do not know why this Cracker Barrel was empty at lunchtime. We can't even get into the parking lot at our local one in Georgia. Food was good, but gave 4.5 stars due to the pintos being completely dry somehow. There were absolutely no juices in the bowl, but the rest of the food was perfect. Waitress was also the hostess, but we had great service. I did enjoy the quiet as that is unheard of at other locations. Still confused why no one was eating here. It's a great place for home like cooking.
This place is growing on me. Probably used to all the American dinners I have visited. Update 7-7-25 I had a temporary item. The New York strip was a bit tough. I asked for it to be cooked medium and it was well done. The coffee was good. One other item that tells if the establishment is maintaining the equipment. The water filters are changed making the water taste good. The water was good. I know that when it is busy mistakes may be done. People just need to pay more attention. I don't want my waitress to be scolded. Just mention to the whole crew to be more attractive.
Staff all seem very sweet but during non-holidays or during the day before 5:00pm, they seem to be short staffed. Its hard to get assistance when eating a meal as the 2-3 waiters/waitresses are running around the entire restaurant. Rushing when ordering and rushing when they bring the food. Hard to ask questions or ask for anything else or get a refill sometimes. I understand business is business so apart from that, usually food is hot and doesn’t take too long to be served. Always delicious and can always count on a good meal, semi-affordable and cute shop after you’re done eating with an endless product selection that is always being cycled out. If you like something, buy it now or forever hold your peace!
Food has always been great. Service has been up to par. Ambiance is family oriented. Go there you won't be disappointed.

Food is always great. My only gripe is every time I come here, at least so far, I’ve had to ask for new silverware because they’ve always been dirty.

Very good food. service is a little slow. But the rest was fine. In Orlando one of the most decent places to have breakfast.

chicken fried chicken and fried okra tasted reheated. None of us liked our food. Not the quality it used to be. Will not return.
It looks like every other Cracker Barrel and the menu is the same. However, this one didn't bother to hire someone who knows how to cook! I wasn't feeling too well after a long day of traveling, so I ordered the chicken soup. Have you ever seen chicken soup without any broth? I hadn't either until last night. It was a bowl of gluey uncooked noodles in a pile of carrots and whatever. I took one bite and it was nasty! I wish I had taken a picture of it before I sent it back. I asked for the manager and when he came to the table I asked him to feel the corn muffin. He didn't want to. He could tell by the look of it how hard it was. He gave me a refund on the soup, but should have done a little better. I was treating my in- laws to dinner for giving us a ride back home to Las Cruces. I was embarrassed about the quality of the whole meal. Will probably never return.
Food was great. Buttery pancakes, chicken fried chicken cooked perfectly. Service was so so, our server kept forgetting to bring drinks that she took away for refills, and had to be reminded about sides that weren't delivered with the meal. But that's understandable because it was Sunday morning and lots of guests. The one thing we didn't appreciate was that we had to wait 10 mins in a small "corralling" area in the country store after waiting 20 mins for the text that our table was ready. Why tell us a table is ready only to have us wait in the overcrowded country store along with other people who were also told their tables were also ready. Just keep us outside until the table is actually ready like other restaurants. Not to mention the long lines in the country store of people trying to close out their tabs and/or buy country store goods.
Restaurant was severely under staffed, as maybe the management was trying to bring labor costs down. There were at least 8 items "out" (not available) on the menu. Wait time for water and between drinks, and main entrees was extremely long. Keep in mind there were only about 15 tables occupied. Totally disappointed. Haven't been to a Cracker Barrell since 2012. Probably won't go back till 2033.

Super hyped places are super expensive and portions are ridiculously small. first time for everything never again... Grits and gravy are water based and need more flavour a lot of it! Pancakes need butter in the mix or egg something not flavorful my hash brown casserole was like undercooked rice The taste was not it sorry our server was 5*s
