Kahal was EXCEPTIONAL - delicious, highest quality food, impeccable service and unparalleled ocean view. Sandro and Manuel curate a first class experience and the following meals were highlights: Apps Softshell crab, crab cakes and the tuna tartare were fantastic. Entrees Prawn Risotto - best I have ever had and still dreaming about NY Steak- perfect flavor and quality Herbed crusted seabass - delectable Chicken - moist with amazing flavors

Not sure words will capture how absolutely magical dining at kahal is!!! So, where to start… I guess before I even get into the dining experience itself, I’ll share that I had a chance to tour the rancho farms to see exactly where all the fresh produce for our meal came from. So impressed by the care to bring quality that Chef Sandro & the rancho team show. Before even taking one bite of anything I knew it was going to be spectacular. We decided to try the sunday seafood brunch & wow, was it amazing. A medley of incredible, fresh, and well thought out dishes that were clearly inspired by baja & elevated to a new level. Highly recommend. It was actually so good we had to come back for dinner and see what else Chef Sandro had up his sleeve. And another WOWOW, because he outdid himself. I got the seafood pasta and love, love, loved it. Also the nigiri with the fresh catch was unreal. And the kale salad - bravo. Have never been a huge kale fan, but that was special. And beyond the food, the atmosphere can’t be topped by any other place in baja. The decor is gorgeous, the wind chimes blowing in the breeze launched me into a meditative state, and the views are indescribable. Spotted whales during brunch & caught the most stunning sunset for dinner. Again, HIGHLY highly recommend. It’s 100% a must.

One of the most incredible dining experiences of my life. Chef Sandro and his talented team delivered unexpected delight with every bite. Service was impeccable, and our table received a high level of personal interaction that really made the evening. The jalepeno truffle beignet was especially delicious. Must try!

11-course tasting menu is the way to go! Thank you for making our 15th anniversary so special. At sunset they turned on some heaters and handed out blankets which was nice. Cocktails were OK but if we go back, I'd get wine or just focus on the food and the beautiful setting overlooking the pristine beach and ocean.

Best meal and service I’ve experienced in awhile, topped off with a visit from the chef. What an amazing place food people deco!!! Love it!!!

We had a lovely sunset dinner here on the last night of our trip. Awesome private comfortable table for two with a stunning view. Our waiter pointed out a whale breaching repeatedly soon after we were seated. Based on some of the other very positive reviews, our only worry was that we might feel a bit pressured into an 11 course tasting that was really more than we were up for. That didn't happen at all and our a la carte meal was wonderful-- beautifully plated and fresh. For such a special experience the price was totally fair-- wine in particular a bit pricy, but some truly excellent choices by the glass. When we had to wait just a minute or two to get the credit card machine to work, our serve brought us lovely desserts on the house for the tiny inconvenience. We definitely hope to return-- such a special experience for our last night of vacation!

Chef Sandro has a beautiful concept with Kahal. The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff are attentive and the food is spectacular across the board. Amazing views and phenomenal service. The sushi was great and the roasted chicken with veggies was arguably the best we’ve ever had! The brownie dessert was also so good and while It sounds strange the “strawberry” dessert was amazing!

An amazing experience that is not expected in Pescadero . I could have been at any celebrity restaurant internationally but this was outstanding. The food was truly world class and the service attentive amongst a setting by the ocean watching whales jumping. The journey to this destination was memorable and I will be back. We had an amazing experience at Kahal, the restaurant is beautiful (right on the ocean), we enjoyed sunset and then Chef Sandro enticed us into trying his eleven course tasting meal. That type of dining is very unusual for us as we usually share a meal however, we are very happy of our choice. Jeff Sandro made it feel like we were the only people in the restaurant, delivering many of the plates himself every course was complex both in design and flavor. it was an amazing experience. If you have time (took about 2 1/2 hours) and about $500 I would recommend this experience. Food was around $225.00 and we bought two bottles of wine (took most of one of them home). Cheers to Chef Sandro, Daniella and staff.

Easily my favorite restaurant I’ve been to in Mexico. A beautiful ocean side spot, well designed for an intimate dining experience. Every item on the menu was delicious, healthy, with excellent flavor pairings. Chef Sandro was a joy to talk to about his food experiences. Staff were friendly and accommodating. If you get the chance it is a must!

My family and I went for the Sunday brunch and what a great it was! The chef Sandro has created something very special here. The food was breathtaking. Everything was extremely fresh and absolutely amazing! Sandro was gracious enough to give us a tour of the property and his gardens after our meal as well. Hands down the best dining experience I could have hoped for. Chef Sandro told a story with his dishes, weaving in his expansive culinary studies and traveling history into the food. A number of dishes stood out, i’ve told anyone who will listen about the nigiri and carpaccio. Their catch of the day was incredible. And you have to end your night off with the churros. The views were spectacular, we were lucky enough to witness the most gorgeous sunset!! 11/10

You MUST come for sunset - they have fire pits, lounge seating, and a roof deck all for drinks or dinner. The food is mainly fish focused. They were able to accommodate everything to GF by using tamari instead of ponzu. We had the tuna trio for dos (which included crispy tuna rice!!, sashimi, and something else I’m forgetting), the chocolate clam raw, risotto, and a hot plate served with fish you got to cook to your liking. For dessert we had a deconstructed mango cheesecake they brought without the filling with goat cheese ice cream, and then they surprised us with a gf chocolate brownie and mint ice cream for our honeymoon. I did not ask about CC but they were so knowledgeable and considerate I’d bet they’re safe. 10/10 recommend!!

I've had the pleasure of dining at Kahal a few times, and the food, service, and views are amazing! Chef Sandro and the whole team go out of their way to make a memorable evening for each guest. We loved the ahi tartar, the tostadas, the steak, the risotto, the chicken...there wasn't a dish we didn't rave about. Go for sunset! We've been with and without kids...it's an upscale restaurant but with beach access so if they start to get wiggly, you can just walk down the stairs and work off some energy.

We had the most fantastic experience at this beautiful, new restaurant! From the moment we pulled onto the grounds, the service was top notch. The views are incredible and the food is amazing (truly the best mashed potatoes I have EVER had, and don’t forget the churros with caramel sauce). The staff is really what makes this a spot we can’t wait to return to, though (the chef brought us back to our car in the golf cart!) Everyone was so helpful and attentive. Such a special meal and evening!

I am blown away by the quality of food at kahal and other restaurants at mas olas. The quality of ingredients stands out and Sandro's worldly touch had not only my palette going but my tummy was happy w all the balanced probiotics and fermentation. All the staff is so naturally friendly and helpful and one can see they love their work at Mas Olas. So much space, so many microcosms going on, feels like home and heaven in one, sincerely. The creators and owners have done such an incredible job, and with the utmost eco efforts as well. A place of beauty and peace.

Our dinner at Kahal was amazing. The setting is hard to beat. The restaurant is right on the beach, and it’s worth going around sunset for the amazing views. All the food was incredible, but our favorites were the crab cakes, the catch of the day, and the strawberries and cream dessert. Definitely will visit again on our next trip to Todos.

Kahal es precioso al atardecer comí el mejor Risotto que he comido , estaba delicioso, la ensalada super fresca y el pescado increíble, un lugar al que regresaría mil veces.

Recomiendo este lugar para ver el atardecer, el menú es reducido y con precios elevados pero con buenas opciones. El diseño del lugar fue un 10/10.

Our server Jonatan made this experience special - ask for him! It was our first time dining at Kahal and right away we knew it was going to be amazing. The atmosphere was vibrant and elegant. The music was soft, yet upbeat. The staff were all warm and friendly. Our server Jonatan helped us decide on sushi and our entrees. His humor and personality made us feel comfortable and happy to chat with him. We had the Jurel sashimi, (habanero aioli, layu oil, shitake salt, lemon zest, mint) and it was perfect. Then we were given a tostada bite with squid ink and dill that was on the house. The sun set over the beautiful ocean right before our food was served and it was gorgeous. We ate whole Red Snapper and the NY Strip for our main entrees. The sommelier helped my girlfriend pair a nice wine with the Snapper. This fish is caught fresh daily and was so warm and the skin was perfectly crisp and seasoned. The steak could have had a little better sear on the skin but was cooked perfect medium rare and was tender and flavorful. It came with 3 different sauces to dip. We left feeling like we ate a lot but it felt like healthy amount of fullness :) We are definitely eating here again next time we visit! It was fairly priced for the quality of food, service and atmosphere.

Amazing sunset dinner at this beautiful spot in Pescadero. The property is just breathtaking - a beautiful bar, infinity pool, fun seating areas. The perfect place to have cocktails, enjoy the sunset, watch the whales just off the beach and enjoy some of the best food in Mexico. Chef Sandro is amazing - the way he utilizes the freshest ingredients direct from the Sea and his own farm located all around the Mas Olas properties. The dishes served are not only delish but also visually appealing. It’s an experience for all of your senses. Whether staying the resort, stopping by for dinner or getting a day pass for the pool - you must try this restaurant!!!

The 11x11 tasting menu is top notch. I highly recommend eating here ala carte or enjoying a more expansive dinner menu. From nigiri over rice cake to ravioli, it took us on a journey, seamlessly integrating flavors from continent to continent. From the sushi to the Italian influences to even including south Asian inspired dishes using local ingredients was just amazing. One of the most beautiful restaurants spaces I’ve ever encountered, designed to meld with the beautiful beach and coastline. We came here for dinner every night during our stay and sat in one of the booths overlooking the beach, where we took in the most beautiful sunsets. The restaurant features seafood prominently. Highly recommend the 11 for 11 tasting menu, which gives you a sampling of many of the items on the menu. If they are available, I highly recommend the oysters and the clams. They also have several preparations of whole fish, which were delicious. Overall, delicious and unpretentious food that showcased the freshness of the ingredients. Service was top-notch. Staff were highly knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. We look forward to returning!

We had the honour, pleasure and opportunity (I stress opportunity to the utmost) to be indulged at Kahal. An above and beyond experience at every single level. Every dish was an absolute work of art presented by chef Sandro Falbo. No words to even describe what we ate, and too many words that would be too long for this review. Sandro even gave us a lot of time and attention coming out from the kitchen to visit and talk a bit about the dishes. The staff were outstanding hosts who genuinely cared about our entire experience and spent the time to chat with us which we love. Not to mention this is directly on the beach accompanied with an incredibly high end seating experience, especially how we timed this with the best sunset of our lives. Just the atmosphere alone is a reason to go. We appreciated our experience so much it makes us emotional looking back on it. Thank you so much to the lovely staff. Would be an honour to come back next time we're in Baja.

Dining with acclaimed Italian Chef Sandro Falbo (who hails from Rome via Cabo San Lucas where he was executive chef at The One & Only Palmilla, along with stints at many other luxury and Michellin-starred restaurants around the world) is truly an experience not to be missed! We have dined here twice, once on a date night just after they opened, and again last night with our 3 teenage boys. So I wanted to write a review while the experience was still fresh in our minds! First off, the setting of this restaurant is as gorgeous as it gets. Situated beachfront on a long expanse of white sand and crashing waves, you’ll probably see whales cavorting in the distance. I suggest that you try and arrive before sunset for a real treat. The open air dining room is designed with reflection pools and mood lighting that shimmers like the inside of a seashell. The service is friendly and attentive, and chef Sandro often comes out of the kitchen to make his rounds of the tables and say hello. Which brings me to the food! The dishes are inventive, elevated, farm to table, ingredient driven, seasonal, and delicious - which is just about all you can ask for in a meal. The chef draws on the vast organic vegetable and herb gardens that he grows onsite, as well as local produce and the daily catch from the local fishermen. It just doesn’t get any fresher. While Kahal is billed as a seafood restaurant (at which it excels) my husband has tried both the chicken and the steak entrees and he loved them both. My catch-of-the-day seabass dinner last night was delicious to the last bite, and the savory watermelon salad with olive tapenade was a surprising combo that absolutely worked! I would happily order both of these dishes again. My 16 year old said that the tuna carpaccio appetizer topped with truffle was hands down the best thing he’d ever tasted :) The dessert and cocktail menu is just as inventive and flavorful, and everything is presented so artfully, without being the least bit fussy or pretentious. Needless to say, we love this new restaurant and we look forward to bringing more of our friends here to experience it with us! (And I NEED to eventually trying everything on this inspired menu.)

We reserved a spot as part of Gastrovino’s 5-course dinner + wine pairing and received way more than we bargained for: - Ample welcome bites (hamachi, ceviche, fresh garden treats) - Some smooth, smooth tequila - A beautiful sunset at the best seat in the house - Five courses that spanned cured fish, pastas, short rib, fresh fish, and a velvety flan (I basically licked every single plate, the food was fantastic) - Amazing service - Personalized touches from Chef (including accommodating a shellfish allergy at a seafood-heavy dinner, I know - I’m that annoying person) - Beats that meant we almost broke out into a slow cooked flan-inspired Despacito dance party at the end If fine dining and being open to entrusting a renowned, passionate chef with curating the perfect evening is your thing, then book Kahal immediately as you’ll be gifted with a very memorable evening. Incredible food, great service, really unique menu and food preparation. The seafood soup, tiraditos por dos, whole fish on hot stone and posters were all excellent.

The only good thing about this restaurant was the physical location. Other than that the experience was very poor. Some dishes were inedible and the others were marginal at best. This is definitely not worth visiting for any reason.

Reservation issues even when we showed a confirmation. This was in a half full restaurant. Food was horrible. Soggy Kale salad. Entrees were so bad we hardly ate them. Prawns were slimy. Chef was working the crowd. Get back in the kitchen and manage the food.
