La Birria is too good, changed my plans for the afternoon good. The salsa is incredible, and the couple that own the place are sweet and went out of their way to accommodate us. Very friendly, very delicious.

This place is incredible. Our rental car broke down and 6 of us NZers were stranded in Santiago for the night. Turned out to be the BEST part of our trip so far. Finding this place - had lunch, dinner and then breakfast here 😂 Staff and food amazing and so cheap. Couldn’t recommend highly enough ☺️

Muy rica la birria y las quesabirrias las papas con queso también, el área de niños ya no existe y está muy descuidada la parte trasera incluidos los baños pero la atención muy buena.

Had the birria quesadillas and soup which was absolutely incredible. They are a wonderful restaurant with very nice service. I was surprised at how well run they were and that they accepted card and had a call button for each table.

The quesabirria was amazing, super tender and flavorful, the Tamarindo mezcalitos were delicious, unfortunately they served my steak completely burned to a crisp , but overall good experience!

First off, the scent of the wood-fired grill is the intoxicating. I’m not sure of the wood used to heat the meat but it provides the perfect smokiness to the meals. The only options for dinner this evening were from Menú Parte 1, so no birria, but we ordered the papa rellena asada and the nachos. You’ll be sure to love how this food is seasoned well, but no spices. Take your food to the salsa bar and add all the yummy flavors you desire to your meal. Hopefully they’ve turned the television to a YouTube Spanish music video channel where you can enjoy traditional music while dining. Provecho!!

The food was absolutely delicious, everything has an authentic homemade flavor. Their enchiladas and burritos de machaca are absolutely delicious. The place is family friendly with a little back patio and toys for children to play while the parents wait for their food. The prices were VERY reasonable compared to a different restaurant in town and Restaurante Pericu DOES take credit card (which was a major plus for us). The owner (who also served as our host and waiter) was very attentive and helpful giving us recommendations from the menu and also about local attractions. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back.

My family and I had dinner at Pericu while visiting Santiago for a day. The restaurant was recommended by Luis, the owner of the Hotel Don Julio we stayed at. The town is small and based on prior reviews we knew that there are not any formal dining places. My understanding is that this is a recently opened restaurant, moved to the new location in the center of the town 2 months ago. After a long day of traveling, we had an unexpected beautiful surprise to discover this cozy place with amazing traditional food at very reasonable prices. The owners, Antonio and Karina, were very welcoming that we forgot how tired we were. Before ordering, they brought us couple of things to taste, both beef, absolutely delicious! Both speak English, so our conversation went beyond food. Antonio recommend also places to visit in the area. Honestly, this is the beauty of traveling: to discover warm people and beautiful places that emerge you in their tradition and make you feel like home! Thank you again for your hospitality!

La comida está rica, pero algo que no estuvo nada bien fue que solo a nosotros nos sirvieron en platos de plástico cubiertos con una bolsa de plástico. Creo que eso fue descortés, mientras a los demás comensales les sirvieron en platos de barro. No es nada grato cenar en platos de plástico. Eramos los primeros clientes, y la papa caliente también en plástico! En fin, gracias por responder!

Hay una mesera llamada Emely que le deja caer los platos encima a las niñas que le caen mal y luego se rie, aguas.

Lamentablemente mi experiencia en este lugar fue muy desagradable. Mientras estaba sentada, una mesera accidentalmente tiró unos platos sobre mi espalda. Entiendo que los accidentes pueden ocurrir, pero lo que realmente me molestó fue la actitud posterior: la mesera se rió y no ofreció una disculpa adecuada. Considero que en un servicio al cliente lo mínimo es mostrar respeto y responsabilidad ante una situación así. Ojalá el personal reciba mejor capacitación para manejar este tipo de incidentes con más profesionalismo y empatía hacia los cli

Se tardan en dar el pedido. Una vez se tardaron 30 minutos en atendernos y no había tanta gente. Y a parte la carne de la hamburguesa está muy mala y se rompe muy fácil.
