Absolutely amazing food and super friendly staff! I went with a group of friends and everything we ordered was amazing.
My beer came in a giant frosted mug, which was an awesome start, and then the Cadillac burger arrived and it was fantastic. The Brussels sprout salad was on point, and the staff was excellent. My wife has a severe gluten allergy, and they went above and beyond to make sure she could enjoy a safe, gluten free meal. Really impressed with both the food and the service. Great experience. We will definitely be back.
The atmosphere is very cool, the food is flavorful, and the shakes were great. The El Diablo burger is a family favorite, along with the truffle fries. Overall, it’s a fun spot to enjoy a meal with the family.
Food was delicious my favorite are still the hot honey and sage Brussel leaves and sweet potato fries.
Hopdoddy in El Segundo never disappoints. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, the parmesan fries are addicting, and the draft beer selection is on point. The service is friendly and quick, and the overall vibe is super fun and laid-back. It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite and a drink with friends. Love coming here—definitely recommend!
My experience was amazing like always! My family and I have been coming to this HD location almost every Saturday for 4 years at least. And everytime it is just as good as the time before. Coming to Hopdotty is practically addictive. A highlight other than the amazing food is Dustin at the bar. He is always making our experience a 10/10. Never have I felt like I needed a drink because Dustin's service is always keeping us topped up. You rock Dustin, couldn't have a great Saturday without you!!
I love the burgers, fries, and beers here at Hopdoddy. The food all taste great and the beer comes out in a huge margarita glass. The last visit they gave me a promotion scratcher and my daughter scratched out a win for a cheeseburger but it turns out the cheeseburger prize could potentially be cheeseburgers for a year. So they tell me to go to my table and they would me check me out after all the details were sorted. Shortly after we received our food, the manager and waiter came over with a gold envelope. My daughter opened the envelope and we won a $50 dollar gift card. So not quite the grand prize but afterwards when we went to pay they said its on us just leave a good review. We never win anything so this was quite a good dinner to remember for us.
We had such a great experience at The Point location thanks to Maddy! After our flight was cancelled at LAX we came in having a very stressful day. Maddy immediately noticed and went above and beyond to help us feel welcome. She was so kind, patient, and understanding exactly the kind of service that makes a lasting impression. Because of her, our day completely turned around. We’ll definitely be back! Oh yeah, the food was great! The burgers, the tenders & the fries! Perfection!
The Baseline: For a Burger-joint the burgers, fries, and drinks are prepared well, done with properly applied ingredients that should taste good, and any unique offerings should not take away from the basis of the burger itself. Food: Known for burgers, serves great burgers, and this is a place for burgers. Yes it is a chain but it is a gooooooooood chain. The meat is high quality, the fries are crispy and well salted, and the drinks make you want more drinks. Burger: crumbly decadent beef that mixes with the pillowy bun and other toppings you select to create pure joy in your mouth. Fries: Tossed in a salty goodness and served in a mixin’ bowl. You dip in what you select and the selection is awesome. Shakes: Real ice cream and blended with the flavors you want/need/desire on the menu. You can opt to add booze and Peanut Butter whiskey is a choice on the menu. Beers and Margaritas: Served in a fish bowl frosted to keep me frosty. Service: Follow the order of Operations and you will do fine. Servers will deliver the food to your table and the counter server will make sure you have an assigned table ready. If you need anything from the Bar the bar tenders will get it. You walk up to the counter to get something and they will help. Great service at Hopdoddy. Ambiance: Burgers and Beer is the theme and the seating is comfortable and well arranged. The restaurant is welcoming and clean. The bathrooms were clean and serviced. The outdoor patio area was also comfortable.
My favorite burger restaurant chain. I love going in there to try their burger of the month. It's not too overwhelming and their fries are to share so you come out feeling pretty full. I love that you can even choose how you want the beef cooked for some burgers. The staff has always been friendly
This is located inside what feels like an upscale mall. There’s plenty of free parking around, which is a big plus, though it can get pretty busy in the evenings and on weekends. The restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable, and the food is always on point—delicious every time. We’ve been here quite a few times, and it’s consistently a great experience. The service is outstanding—our server on the last visit really went above and beyond. They also have outdoor seating.
Abit on the expensive side when you add extras and dont just do a simple burger. The burger on the other hand tasted great! I love the fact you can do any burger as salad bowl. More restaurants and burger joints should do this as well! So simple but a great option for those who prefer bunless. The ordering process can be a bit of a challenge when there is a lot of noise and if you want something customized off the menu. But nevertheless, I got exactly what I ordered.
My hubby and I happened to be in the area and made a quick stop at this location at this food court en El Segundo .We were digging the vibe and mood. The atmosphere was good. Staff were welcoming and polite. The bartender greeted us and immediately offered us something to drink. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The cocktails were good too...Stop by if you work near by to grab some food and a drink. You won't be disappointed.
Service: I must've asked 20 questions at the register, and the person behind the counter was so kind answering them all! Once I ordered, I wasn't seated long before I received my food. Food: I don't know what they did to those fries but I couldn't get enough of them, I didn't get anything special done to them either that's just how the plain ones come but we were obsessed. My bacon jam burger was delicious as well. The bread was nice and soft, patty cooked perfectly, and all the topping blended so well. We also got the mother nature burger (bison patty) and sweet potato fries. Both were a win! Be careful with the Big Larry, though, it maybe frozen and refreshing, but it's still powerful, lol
Servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Cashier guy was very helpful and made me feel comfortable bc it was my first time being at the restaurant. Did not regret getting the Brussels 👌🏽 although they were a bit salty but that's bc I'm on a low sodium diet. I will just ask next time less on the seasoning. Boozy drinks are great 👍🏽.
Gourmet burgers and more. A little pricey for a burger meal, but what can you expect from a fancy beach city. Food - tasty an juicy burgers. I had the specified al Roscoe. It was overflowing with bacon and onion rings that I had to take some off to eat. BBQ sauce was dripping from my hands when done. Ambiance - trendy outdoor mall where the restaurant is situated. Casual rustic decor. Bright sunny day that you can people watch if sitting outside. Cost - a bit pricey for burger meal. We were about 30 per person. Service - you order at counter and they bring to table. Wasn't much of wait and they bring out fries first to get you going.

Went to Hopdoddy Burger Bar around 6:00pm. Huge mistake in terms of parking and crowding. Hopdoddy is located in The Point Shopping Center. To say the place was packed is an understatement. It took us about 20 minutes to find parking. Once we got to Hopdoddy, we were greeted immediately and the staff made every effort to seat our party of 8, which was no easy task. There is a section outside for large parties, but if the tables are already taken there is no telling how long you'll be waiting. Once you enter you have to figure out what you want to eat right away, as you order at the register and then you are seated. I felt a bit rushed making a choice. The ambience is that of any other burger joint you might frequent. It was somewhat reminiscent of Island's without the tacky decor. Now to the food. Hopdoddy offers plenty of choices for burgers, fries, and drinks. They even have Brussels sprouts as a side! I tried the Magic Shroom burger, the truffle parmesan and bbq ranch fries, and a chocolate shake. The burger was good. I ordered it prepared medium and it came out well, which was a bit disappointing, but didn't take away from the quality of the burger. The fries were also good, but the never came out hot. They serve the fries in a large bowl for sharing. The chocolate shake was way too sweet. Other people in my party ordered shakes and that was the consensus across the board. The star of the show for me was the Big Larry. It's basically a Cadillac margarita (frozen house margarita with a shot of Grand Marnier). Whoever made the drinks was heavy with the cognac, and I thank them for that. Overall, good food and ambience. Would definitely go back for another Big Larry.

Used to be amazing. Top burgers and reasonable given the ingredients and quality. Now burgers are at least 30% smaller. They give you more fries now. Shakes came out super warm? Not great. Oh yeah but everything is more expensive too. Just go to in n out.
The bun was the best part about this burger- it was soft and pillowy. The burger was pretty mediocre, nothing crazy about it. The fries were fine too, no seasoning or anything and just normal fries. We frequent this place on a weekly basis. We've tried every hamburger, fries and bowl they offer, we are rarely disappointed with their food. We decided to go yesterday evening with our son. The place was NOT crowded at all, the bar was completely empty. We sat at the bar expecting to get service but it was the worst service we ever had at this place. The service had been so-so for a while but then it got really good! Hot food, good fries and the Larry's!!! But last night was an epic fail. We sat down at the bar, the bartender acknowledged us but that was it! Never asked what we wanted to drink, took another walk up person order before ours and even then we waited. The drinks were not of the same caliber as the evening before, the Larry's were sour and the pineapple bellíni didn't have any pineapple. The food came out at a decent time but after she clear the bar we had to wait again for the check. I decided to take a hamburger to go and that took 25 minutes. I know there can be glitches in a day and the place had been doing well. I do have to say that someone came out earlier in the evening and asked if everything was okay, our fault for not saying something then. The bartender was very nice and friendly, service people as well. Something was way off with them last night. I hope they can course correct themselves. The food was delicious and quality good. We may need to find another location to try. Come on El Segundo step up!!! We love you and would rather stay than leave!
Hire a real bartender or train the ones you have. Those drinks are disgusting. I am not a fan of burgers 🍔at all and when I first tried hopdoddy's primetime burger (as per my husband's recommendation? it blew my mind! 🥰🤩🤯I was able to finish the whole burger by myself! It was the right flavor and balance of ingredients..it was just soooo delicious, i loved their truffle fries, spicy honey sage sweet potato fries and nutela pretzel shake...so everytime we drove to LA we would always stop by for a burger at hopdoddy and i would order 1 for myself and i could finish it in a few minutes it was that delicious!..we would bring family and friends sometime or anybody that i know will go to LA i always recommend trying out their burger...but this time i am totally disappointed that they took it off their menu 😔i was actually sad...the cashier told me to try the cadillac because it is similar to the prime and the cashier told us he too liked the prime...so me and my husband just ordered 1 to share because i am not sure if i will like it or not...i had high hopes 🙏 and it broke my heart 💔🍔👎that the only burger i enjoy is completely gone 😭😭why... why fix something that is not broken? I hope they bring it back... 🤞🍔
