Ike's Love and Sandwiches

This Sandwich shop is unique! There are so many different sandwiches to choose from! Each person in our group chose a different sandwich, all raved about each. There was a wait, but it was well worth it! I hope they open a shop close to where I live.

Friday night I ordered a sandwich around 6pm. I was in a minor car accident and blew out a tire. Luckily I was able to get to the store right before closing. I told the manager what happened and he was kind enough to make me a fresh sandwich and give me a soda and bag of chips on the house. It really turned my awful night around. The food was amazing as always. Thank you!

Had the vegan gramps and the vegan meatless mike and they were both amazing but the vegan gramps was just UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. I would have one of those every week if I could.

I eat vegetarian a few times per month. This place has TONS of great tasting vegetarian options---they can even convert most sandwiches to vegan if need be! Most sandwiches are under 15 bucks! I've been to the one in El Segundo AND Carson---service has been fast and friendly at BOTH. The sandwiches are AMAZING!

I really like a delicious sandwich, Ike's Love & Sandwiches is definitely the spot to come to. I came here around 05:15 pm after I picked up my wife from work. We ordered the Yael University with a side of Ranch and some BBQ chips. It was so good 😋 absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this spot to my friends and family. I wish I could have snapped a picture of my food and the place but I was hungry lol. The establishment is really clean as well, I also love the fact that it's open until 09:00 pm. Not sure about the weekends, but I did see that on weekdays it was open until nine.

This was my first time visiting the El Segundo Ike’s Love & Sandwich shop! I ordered the “ Matt Cain” and Anyna took wonderful care of me. Thoroughly enjoyed my first experience enjoying an Ike’s sandwich! Delicious Dutch crunch bread! Never had anything like it! Great music choices the whole time we spent there! Thanks again Anyna!

Wow, y'all! This was the best sandwich I have ever eaten in my 55 years! Fresh bread, ingredients, and so much care was taken to make it. Stuff was piled on! No skimping on ingredients. Amazing and delicious! It was even wrapped well and came with plenty of napkins. So many vegetarian and vegan options, although I opted for the Adam Richman. Thanks, Ike's! ❤️

Loved my first experience with this sandwich place. The bread is fresh and holds up to the contents. They have several sandwiches to choose, including options for vegetarian and vegan. Got the James and the giant peach sandwich (vegan chicken patty). This yellow BBQ sauce is amazing. They let you choose bread from Dutch crunch, whole wheat, French bread, etc. if you want lettuce and tomato and they have some freebies to add on to your sandwich, I got the banana peppers. Large assortment of Zappos chips.

The sandwiches were perfection! We ordered the Lita Canrana and Time Traveler both on the amazing Dutch crunch bread. Really delicious all around. The premium soda and tea selection is great and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again.

I ordered the MADISON BUMGARNER and it was delicious, definitely recommend this option for a hot meat sandwich. Made perfectly. Can't wait to return and try something new.

my order from the immensely skilled time traveler ike who knows just how to appreciate everyone for who they are and being all the necessary ingredients to our plane of reality, was nothing short of amazing, delicious sandwich perfectly cooked all vegetarian as per my dietary restrictions and sensitive teeth, my favorite chips and sweet treat of all time and the best coconut water and mela i’ve ever tried, had to get more right away due to the relevation. favorite sandwich shop of all time, can’t wait to try the other locations, a huge fan of the vine street as well! i should have taken a photo but i was too enticed and ate it all right away. perfect!! quick delivery as well.

Sandwiches done right! Great place for a bite right after you leave LAX. The Menage a Trois (#111) is a really nice blend of flavors for being such a simple sandwich.

Very tasty chicken sandwich. A little pricey, but I suppose that's California. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, seems a lot more personal rather than generic franchise. Service was a little slow at this location, but the sandwich was delicious.

The sandwiches were huge! We ordered the Beast Mode, Kids Turkey and Cheese and Madison Bumgarner. We ordered it through Grubhub due to us being in the area at a hotel in a layover so the sandwiches were a little pricey. The Mountain Dew we ordered was not delivered; I’m not too sure of that was due to Ike’s not putting it in the bag or the delivery driver taking it. Overall great experience and good food.

This certain location took over another sandwich joint. It's nestled in a busy food court-type area in El Segundo. Having been to the previous sandwich spot that was there, I saw that they kept the same layout and just changed the paint job and added Ike’s decor. With that being said, it felt a bit outdated and old. Especially the bathroom, gross! Not sure why they decided to not revamp the place. Anyways, the food itself was it! The menu is very creative with a lot of sandwiches to choose from. I forgot the name of my sandwich because I literally just closed my eyes and pointed at a random one because I couldn't make up my mind. Haha The gentleman at the counter was very nice and it didn't take much time at all for my order. So, would I go back? I probably wouldn't come back to this location. Instead, I'll go to a brand new one.

The person working was super nice and very helpful with finding safe gluten free options ! A little expensive for a sandwich though.

First time I went here it was great. My boyfriend and I kept talking about how much we loved our lunch throughout the evening. We even told our friend he should go try it. Two days later I went back and was excited to get the same exact sandwich. However, this time it was too salty, the chicken was too chewy, and I was charged for extra sauce but the sandwich seemed to have less sauce then the first time when I didn't ask for extra sauce. The second time around I was disappointed.

Ike's sandwiches are some of the best I've had outside of full service restaurants, but the prices were astronomical. The prices listed on the menu in their shop were the same as they were in the pictures (~$12), but I was charged about $2 more per sandwich than was advertised in addition to a tip. I'll definitely be back, but I don't plan on buying these sandwiches beyond special occasions.

A really high quality sandwich place although maybe a little TOO high quality because unfortunately my avocado in my menage trois was still raw and had not yet ripened before preparation. The texture (not to mention the taste) of a raw avocado jumped out halfway through this amazing sandwich. Still would come back but hope the people prepping know to check the avocados in the future.

Ike's was recommended so I tried it. Sandwich was ok. Extensive menu. But wasn't particularly impressed. Multiple sauces made it difficult to discern and describe a particular flavor. Too soggy as well. Lettuce was soaked in this yellow BBQ sauce. Very unlikely to visit again. Staff was nice.

Got the cheesesteak. Not bad, but not jump up and down good. Also,...you must be a fan of king's hawaiian bread. The sandwich is served on some sort of sweet bread with baked on cheese to make crispy. Almost overpowers actual sandwich. Server was neg on explaining bread option, didn't see until I had sandwich in hand. Don't know if all options are sweetened. If so with what?

First time here. Philly cheesesteak was the driest sandwich ever. Quality of meat is poor. Even added extra sauce to the sandwich and not even a little bit of sauce was found on it. Barely any cheese for a cheesesteak sandwich you’d think it would be cheesy? Honestly, the only part that was good was the Dutch bread. Threw all the toppings out for the 2nd half and ate only the bread. First and last time here. Only went as my partner recommended it and enjoys it but he tried my sandwich and said it was too dry with no cheese.

As soon as I parked at this location parking lot while waiting for a friend I o grab a sandwich from Ike’s at this location the security asked me to leave because it’s for Cutomer only so I had to walk inside the restaurant to wait!!! When I asked the girl working there about how the reward works she was very rude and did explain well

I'm done with it. Been here a handful of times and it gets progressively worse every time. For starters, the service is incredibly slow. Even when I order ahead of time online, it's never ready on time. Sometimes I walk in and they straight up say "we aren't taking any orders, it'll be at least 30 minutes." Sorry it's just not worth the wait. Then when I finally get the food, it's messy as hell with sauce all over dripping out of the sandwich, really difficult to eat. And after all that I immediately have a stomach ache. I've never left here thinking "wow! Great food!!"

The place was dirty some of the tables had crumbs and trash, The flavored water machine containers looked very dirty and they were not functioning. But my sandwich was really good 😋Its my first time trying this restaurant good sandwiches.

The sandwiches look good. But the cashier didn’t even know they offer cold sandwiches. Also she couldn’t do simple math. My change was 3.91 and I told her I’ll give her a dime and just give me back 4 but she was confused and tried giving me back 3 and change still. Hope the sandwich is good. And they charge 2.25 for a small bag of chips. Probably better off buying chips elsewhere. My total was 16 for a sandwich and a bag of chips. Said thank you as I was leaving the store and not one employee acknowledged. One star for the customer service. Edit- the sandwich was all bread rather go to Jersey Mike’s next time for better sandwiches and less price and better customer service

Super disappointed of my last order there. 2 bags of chips were missing and they never sent the promised coupon or something to make it up. But the worst was that I found a piece of turkey in my vegan sandwich. Definitely not the best place to enjoy Ike's sandwiches. The woman on the phone was not helpful, I lost 6 dollars and my trust decreased a lot on their abilities to respect your orders. What if I had allergies? That's really not professional. I won't order from El Segundo place again.

Update: after further inspecting the sandwich, I found a SECOND piece hair. I tried to call the business but no one answered the phone and the mailbox was full. Gross! I went to this place after it was recommended by a few of my coworkers. Before I eat my food, I tend to look at the various components of whatever I’m eating. I just found the longest piece of hair in my food (shown in pictures below). It wasn’t just on the sandwich, it was embedded in the pickles and cheese. This grossed me out so badly. This was my first and last time trying this place out. Someone needs to put on a hairnet! I could vomit. My stomach turned because I had already finished half of the sandwich. 🤢🤮
