Opinions de Offset Coffee El Segundo
Delightful. I was sad that the menu's posted on Google Maps were misleading and they no longer serve Rose Lattes or Macadamia Milk. But that's hardly the shop's fault. I posted an updated Menu picture. I ordered a lavender and vanilla iced latte, and the ABJ toast. The latte was wild but super enjoyable, and the toast was absolutely fantastic. I 100% would buy both again.
Offset Coffee is absolutely brilliant. Right off of PCH, the cozy little coffeeshop is everything you expect and want from a local coffeeshop. The chocolate banana muffin I had was great, and the hazelnut latte with oat milk was practically perfect! It was the kind of latte that makes you remember just how mediocre fast food espresso drinks are. It's definitely worth the 50¢ over Starbucks. The decor is still lacking a bit (it has a just opened, start-up vibe to it, which is cozy nonetheless) and they were almost out of pastries/sandwiches by noon (they close at 3) which is on par with other local coffeeshops, from my experience.
Amazing Coffee, Cool Vibe, Friendly Staff! Offset Coffee in Redondo Beach is an absolute gem! Every visit feels like a treat, with consistently amazing coffee and a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. My go-to is the Lavender Iced Latte—it's perfectly balanced, refreshing, and just the right amount of floral. The vibe inside is super cool, with a mix of modern and cozy elements that make it a great spot to hang out or get some work done. And the staff? Always so friendly and genuine. You can tell they love what they do, and it makes the experience even better. Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a great spot to relax, Offset Coffee never disappoints. Highly recommend!
Great coffee, and amazing staff, very friendly, very quick and responsible. Thanks again always a pleasure
The best quality coffee, there are not tables enough. Bacon and egg biscuit is delicious
Offset, more like super on it set! Great coffee, service, and vibes. Don’t miss out.
Excellent coffee and some of the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. Small shop with not a lot of seating, but not too busy, and a viable option if you need to work for an hour or two.
If you enjoy bold espresso that reminds you of a proper Italian drink, this is the place to be when in LA! Ordered the flat white and the espresso was perfect and smooth and the crema was beautiful and flavorful! The staff was super nice and helpful too which just added to our positive experience. Next time we are visiting LA, Offset Coffee is a must!
Stopped here on my way to the office just now and got an iced latte - the coffee is delicious! Service was great and they roast their beans at this location! Super excited I found a good spot to walk to when I come to the office 😊
🌟 Amazing Coffee Shop! The latte was incredibly delicious and smooth — rich flavor with the perfect balance of coffee and milk. It was exactly the kind of coffee you want to come back for again and again. 🥑 The toast was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. Every bite tasted fresh and flavorful. 🙌 The staff was polite, courteous, and welcoming — they made the whole experience even more enjoyable. ✨ Overall, a wonderful spot with great coffee, great food, and great people. Highly recommend!
They had a roast on drip that was immaculate but not for sale as whole beans. I loved the cup and envied the shop for having the beans and either being out of stock or not selling this rotating roast on drip. Wonderful staff and baristas that are friendly and helpful. Their space is shared between the roasting area and the cafe which is wide open to each other. I don't mind it one but, just know that the space is being utilized so they aren't a massive cafe with a bunch of seating. Not a problem at all, just be aware of the space.
Made a spontaneous stop here and was blown away by how friendly the staff was! The coffee was incredible — smooth, rich, and perfectly made. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
While vacationing we like to find local small businesses. I am so glad we found offset. We ate breakfast here every morning. We had the lox, avocado toast and an egg and bacon biscuit. These delicious dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were also visually appealing. The coffee is roasted here providing the best quality product. The talented baristas are super friendly and able to answer your questions. Ample parking is available next to the building and handicap parking and ramp are out front.
Solid spot for coffee. Tons of options. They roast their own beans inside which is rare to see in a coffee shop, love it. Tons of drinks and food options. A lot of free parking which is rare in LA. Super helpful and Friendly. A solid 10/10 for good service and atmosphere. Plus it’s next to a pizza spot 🔥
As a huge coffee lover who just moved to the area, I set out to find good coffee. Offset coffee is located just off the street with some front store and side parking. It is an unassuming, casual, no frills type of place. There is minimal seating inside and outside. Looks like they roast their own beans. The coffee was delicious, I have no complaints. The coffee was not bitter at all and had a smooth taste. The non dairy milk was frothed perfectly and was also smooth and delicious. I will return for sure.
Despite the charm of a conference break room, offset gets the full star rating. The coffee is well made, and the avo toast completes the experience, which for an Australian is a tall order. These two items are Australia's contribution to chipping away at your savings, so the dream of owning your home stays out of reach. At $20++, no problem with taking that candy away.
Excellent coffee drinks. Avocado toast the best we've ever had! Egg breakfast biscuit very tasty Easy parking, indoor and outdoor seating. A winner !
So so SO good! I've been drinking coffee for 25 years, and this right here is the good stuff! Well made, very knowledgeable team/roasters, good people. Having a drink here is truly treating myself (although I love my pour overs at home). Right next to Prime Pizza is like a match made in heaven.
I got the salted maple latte, so unique and delicious. I got it half sweet and it was plenty sweet. Very smooth coffee. I also got the bacon and egg biscuit sandwich with avocado, needed salt but was delicious and very filling. Service was friendly. Lots of open tables. Big parking lot. I will be back.

YUM YUM YUMMMM!!! They used to be in El Porto and I would very much look forward to my special coffee! I just drove to the other location since El Porto location changed and wow, I MISSED YOU GUYS! Absolutely delish as it always has been! Soo good! Also, right on the road to LAX people- that’s convenient! You know you’d enjoy this coffee!

It is a little pricey, but it's really yummy I got the strawberry matcha with the foam on top and it wasn't to sweet. It was super creamy from the milk and a light strawberry taste
Nice neighborhood coffee spot. I got a green tea, a cold brew, a flat white, and a cortado — all good. A few tables inside and a small one outside. Busy with people coming and going. If you’re looking for coffee in the area, it’s a good place to stop by. Parking is easy.
Pleasant and modern coffee shop serving the familiar menu of espresso drinks. The espresso itself was bright and plenty of clarity. The flat white was good. Service was friendly and attentive. Roasting is done in-house (see picture). Recommended.
Very hipster and cool coffee shop located next to Prime Pizza. They have a good selection of fine coffees and a cute merchandise offering as well. The space may still be a work in progress based on what I saw, but the service and menu are both solid. There is ample parking so you shouldn’t have any issues accessing the shop. There are both indoor and outdoor seating available as well. We ordered a cold brew with their holiday peppermint foam and a matcha latte. The service was great as well - a very nice barista served us. I’d definitely come back again if I’m in the area.
- Location: Sits next to Topgolf with very cute vibe. You see a lot of people taking short breaks from Topgolf activities. - Food/drinks: I was not a big fan of the food/drink here. Coconut mocha with a $7 price tag was mediocre, and the waffle was way too sweet with a lot of chewable sugar in it. - Sitting areas: Only four 2-seats tables in the store albeit the shop itself has ample space. - Parking: relatively easy during the store hours.

Flying in from Texas and found this spot. The first time I came my iced latte with cold foam was great. The 2nd and 3rd time I guess I ordered a difficult drink - nitro vanilla cold brew with cold foam. It came with ice and no flavor on the first occasion. Then the second time I asked for extra syrup, which costed extra, because I didn’t taste any the previous time and had to add sweetener (I don’t even like my drinks very sweet so for me not to taste anything was something). Well I guess it was made completely wrong the first time because this time it had no ice (which is what I expected the first time) and it was way over sweet and I could barely drink it. The cold foam was more of a cold liquid which turned the whole drink light tan color (I was expecting actual foam that sits on top of the drink like an einspanner) The 4 stars is for the excellent pastries that I’ve tried there and the avocado toast which was delicious.

Love the coffee but the efficiency of the people working behind the counter needs improvement. If I didn’t order ahead and live 20 minutes away I wouldn’t come here. I’ve stood around for 10 minutes waiting for coffee and why? I can go to Starbucks and be in and out in 5 minutes or less. Please train your people to do better or people will go elsewhere regardless of the quality of your product.
The egg toast was amazing! But the matcha….? I spent $7 on GRASS MILK. It was light green and then there were green bits throughout the whole drink. And it tasted like actual grass milk. The staff were nice and quick. The place is pretty small so it’s best to just take it to-go. Also, we parked in the front and it was super hard to park there and also hard to get out.
Last week, I visited this coffee shop while I was in town, as I enjoy exploring local cafes. I mentioned to the person taking my order that it was my first visit, but she was not very helpful. The entire staff appeared unfriendly and seemed preoccupied with their own conversations. I ordered a Vanilla Latte, which was quite ordinary. I've decided that I won’t be returning to this place during future visits to the area.
I’ve gone to this coffee shop a few times. Sometimes the employees are very nice, other times they are borderline rude. Sometimes the drinks are great (like the seasonal maple latte), and other times not. Sometimes the food is tasty (like the egg toast), and sometimes it’s really not. It’s better than Starbucks, but I’ve definitely had better tasting cappuccinos elsewhere. On my last experience, the pastry I got (spinach and feta croissant bun) was massively overpriced. $7.50 for a bun with barely any spinach and literally no feta! Didn’t taste the feta, didn’t see the feta, and the bun itself reminded me of a croissant you’d get on an airplane. The atmosphere is cold, minimalistic, often times crowded, and loud. You can sit outside though. It’s good to just grab something and go. For the price you pay, it’s better to get the experience you really want.

Ordered a pour over and a croissant at Riviera Village location. Very lively at 9:30 in the morning. Croissant was “cakey”, not a layered dough pastry - they need to get a new distributor or charge significantly less than they are for it. Pour over took extremely long to get - the staff forgot about it as I watched it get cool. I wasn’t sure it was mine until all of the other pour overs were served and that’s when I went up to ask about it. I got a sheepish “Sorry” from one of the baristas who poured it into a mug immediately. I have been here in the past and enjoyed my coffees before, but something has changed. Not coming here ever again. Too many other quality coffee places around to spend my money on subpar service.
I really enjoy the drinks here, but I’ve noticed I’m consistently overcharged. For example, when I order a $6.50 matcha latte with strawberry syrup, it’s always rung up as the higher-priced matcha einspanner instead. Seems very dishonest and predatory. Hard to keep doing business with them.
Avocado toast was ok. Service and hot coffee is terrible. Ordered an Americano and when I used their half and half it was curdled and way overdue. They seemed pissed to have to make another, and wouldn’t make the Americano in an 8oz cup as ordered, claiming that they only have one size when I could literally see they have 8oz cups. Watery americano it is. Won’t be coming back.
I'll be honest... the coffee isn't good. I know that is subjective, still, for a place with such high ratings I expected way better. The vibe is nice and service is pleasant but the coffee just doesn't taste that good. Got a vanilla latte and a seasonal gingerbread type latte... both had the same weird herbal flavor. Perhaps the beans they use have that flavor, or maybe it's the syrup, but I didn't like it. Was $7 for the latte. Got an almond muffin which was nice, was actually very tasty with a lovely, moist, cornbread-like consistency. It was $7.50 and very small, which was a bit disappointing. Perhaps I came on an off day, but not worth it. Was packed though, so maybe this is a local haunt or one of the few non-chains in the area, or maybe I'm missing something. Wouldn't return.

I’ve been to this place 2 times now. I only drink black coffee and if I’m paying $4.50 for a cup I hope it will be good. First time they said they were brewing a lovely Kenyan coffee for me so I waited and then she said they had run out. The coffee they gave me was their regular house blend and was nothing special. Second time they only had the regular house blend again. The coffee was lukewarm so it must have been sitting there a long time. I asked if they could brew another fresh batch and they looked at me like I was asking for them to run the Boston Marathon. It took about 15 mins for them to run their marathon before I got my coffee and I told them they should have fresh coffee for customers so they don’t have to waste anyone’s time. Come on, this is LA. No apologies or a “this one’s on us”. All I got was a grimacing stare. The coffee wasn’t good this time either. Way too weak. I’ll be bypassing Offset future forward. If you want excellent real drip brewed coffee I highly recommend Peet’s. Have a nice day!
I ordered the horchata latte with cold foam and unfortunately it was not good at all. It didn’t taste authentic honestly, it just tasted like coffee with milk and lacked the horchata flavor completely. I let the staff know I wasn’t a fan of the drink, and no one offered to remake it or help me find something else I might like. One of the employees just suggested I stir it, which didn’t improve it. I left feeling really unsatisfied with both the drink and the customer service. Sadly, I won’t be coming back.
