Usually this is one of my favorite places to eat but the last time I went I got a bacon cheeseburger with no bun. I asked them to leave all the insides the lettuce, the tomato, onion, mustard, ketchup, bacon, everything but the bun. 1st I got a patty in a box, took it back explained it all over again, got it back this time I got a patty with some cheese and that was it. Whatever I just left

I have always loved Rallys and always will. They've always had great food at a decent price. They aren't out to gouge you for all they can get like everyone else....

One of the only Rally's Burgers stores still around. They still have all the classics and lots of great deals! But everyone knows and loves them for their fries, right? If you haven't tried the fries dipped in a shake, it's a must. You can get upgraded shakes too like banana split which is my personal favorite. It's totally like drinking a fully loaded banana split through an oversized straw similar to the kind you get when you go to one of those boba shops! In addition to the classic great taste you will receive great customer service from a delightful staff that never seems to disappoint. Rally's Rocks, what more can I say?

There's not that many Rallys around anymore, so I never miss a chance to go here when I can. Tons of variety on the menu - burgers, hotdogs, chicken or fish sandwiches, wings, shakes, Ice cream, etc. It's all about those FRIES though, they're the best. I always get them "fully loaded", so good!

They have these 2 tacos for $1.?? (I forgot exactly how much) So i ordered 12 tacos and it totaled $6.?? WOW and they were good. Where else r u gonna get a deal like that now a days. WOo0HOo0!!

I am here in Escondido visiting my sister. She has gotten me hooked on the... Well I guess just about everything on the menu! The seasoned fries are the best! The Big Buford is to die for 😍 and the Stackers are so addicting. Need I say more?? Eat up my friends we are on vacation!! At least I am 😉

This is a very good Rally's. My co workers and I went here and it was fast service. There were 8 or 10 of us and we received our orders in a very short time and was able to eat together. Plus all the food was hot and I mean hot all during the meal. I really liked this Rally's and would say that if you are in this area stop for a quick bite to eat.

Just as good as the Fallbrook restaurant. The food was prepared quickly and the price was a good value. And I have to admit their coffee wasn't half bad. I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon. The burrito was delicious and was filling. There were many breakfast items to choose from. And all were very reasonable priced. I would recommend Pedro's for breakfast.

You can't go wrong with their fries. THEY HAVE THE BEST FRIES EVER. It's the only fast food I eat where I do not want any sauce on the side. Spicy chicken combo for life! This location has always served them well in my experience.

Awesome Burgers and totally stellar , over the top French Fries, and Shakes all reasonably priced. This location is aways busy even with two drive throughes. Been coming here since I was a kid. I live about 40 min away now, but I still make it over here. Staff has always been nice, food is affordable, hot, and comes out quick. My favorite things to get is the fries of course, the chicken box bites, their mozzarella sticks, and their caramel cheesecake sundae is underrated!

We used to dine at Rally's often when we were a young struggling family. It was good and affordable. I went today 2/21/26. It was so horrible I couldn't finish it. The fries were cold and limp. The oil they were fried in tasted old. The burger was gross. I asked for a cheeseburger and I got a cold hamburger with brown lettuce and iced cold cheese slapped on there, like an afterthought. Disgusting. I took two bites and tossed it. Not fit for human consumption. The fish sandwiches were nasty too. The tacos were so salty, we threw them out. A waste of $9.00. Needless to say, I was so disappointed. We spent $35 for the three of us. Never again. Stay far away! If I could give it a less than a one star rating, I would.

Visited with the hubby; we Ordered two Big Bufors with bacon, fully loaded fries, strawberry shakes, Famous Seasoned Fries, Cinnamon Apple pies & Philly Steak bites. Holy moly! it was alll sooooo good, a little pricey since we went all out but worth it. We'll definately come back, cant believe how delicious the shakes & apple pies were, we already want more; glad we took the drive to Escondido, it was a nice fun trip. great food. the 1 employees cashier is friendly and quick. the only thing I don't like is they only have 3 tables outside and no shade, but that's normal with every Sally's I've been to, ever.

Abt 9:15 on a Th night, drive thru. Friendly and clear over PA system. Order was ready super quick even though there was about $27 worth of items. A young gentleman was at the window and he was quick and courteous. Spicy chicken sandwich was not worth the purchase. Cheese champ good. Seasoned fries were decent, but just not that great to me. I prefer McD fries still. Bacon cheese champ good. Parmesan wings good. Honey bbq wings, not that good. Homemade, oven baked wings are much better.

The burger was cold, the fries were hot. I'll go back because when cold the burgers are awesome. The menu is huge! 😲 everything is very inexpensive, I like it.

Rally's is always cool. Known for their fries. Got to read all the boards for all the cool $1 large fries and other specials but you got to ask for them or look at all the signs.

This is the only place where although they mess up my order at least half the time, I still come back time and time again. Great food, and even with the order mix-ups, the employees are always very accomodating, professional, and service oriented.

When I crave their mozzarella sticks, this is the closest place. They have a unique experience with the automated drive-thru ordering, but it seems to always understand what I'm saying.

First timer... there was a line. Order taken clearly and kindly. The young man at window was thorough and pleasant. Order was correct. Decent Rallyburger for price. Loved the fresh toppings, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and dressing. Meat was thin. Good for a quicky bite.

The food was hot? Delicious. I did not have a long wait(drive issue), was served courteous. However, the one issue I had was I'd ordered an Ice cream cone. It was handed to me first, so now I have to hold a Ice cream cone while trying to pay for my food, putting my change back in my wallet and receive my food. I think they need training on when to serve up certain items, especially for drive thru customers.

Relatively quick service. New employee wasnt too sure of how ordering worked but manager was present to ensure I was able to upgrade the 4 dollar meal combo to a large. Ordered a burger and chicken sandwich with large fries and drink for 5.38. Would highly recommend seasoned fries. Tastes very similar to popeyes fries.

I love their chocolate and banana mixed shake. Best shake I've ever had. The one issue is that they are worried about the drive thru time that they forget customer service. We as customers don't care how long our order takes. If your worried about getting me through the drive thru so fast to make your numbers I'll just go somewhere else so you can keep your numbers down. I'm sure my waist won't mind missing the shakes. I don't blame the workers as it's the owners or managers who set the policy.

I love this location in Escondido, the automated drive-thu experience made it easy to order with no mistake every time I order, some workers can have an attitude, maybe they are tired who knows. The food is tasty.

I like Rallys food so when I'm around I'll stop by. The service at this location is slow but theyre nice about it. In a shopping center so you can get errands done but don't go for the ambience.

Most of the food items leave much to be desired. Really the only reason I go to Rally's is for their fries. If I could rate solely on the fries I'd give it 5 stars. But the burgers and other items need to be rethought.

A far cry from what it used to be. Got the Big Buford and it was cold with old lettuce. They still have the best French fries around tho. Love those seasoned beauties.

Fries were hot! But the service was very slow as there was no one to tend the drive thru window, and not very friendly. Almost felt like an inconvenience.

Wouldn't normally give three stars but since they were so under staffed it is the nice thing to do. It took atleast 30 minutes to get our "fast food" wasn't horrible but there is room for improvement.

Sloppy service this time. The ketchup packets were covered with honey or a similar sweetener. Didn't get my order correct. But in general, good burgers.

Great food but the AI for the drive thru is infuriating, could not get the order right. Employees corrected the issue but would not acknowledge that the computer had made a mistake.

The burger was alright, but not great. If it was cheaper I could be quite happy with it, but at a price close to the competition, I think the competition is better. The milkshake was excellent (although I’m not sure it’s possible to make a bad milkshake).

The rally fries are delish. Chicken sandwiches, big Burford are very good. Price is fair. Not the friendliest place but pretty good. P.s. Except for the young lady with the pretty smile. Latin lady I believe she was nice.

They gave me a ripped up bottom bun. Service was ok. There's no real atmosphere, it's either drive thru and take it home or eat on a dirty stone table with homeless people yelling at invisible adversaries.

The experience here is lacking. That's for sure it is a smaller building, and I wish they had more locations. They always have great menu options and food and especially the fries. But the prices are a little outrageous as are most places but here they are over the top. I was also charged for an extra large frie with my order when I only wanted them to make a family size frie with my combo. The automated ordering system sucks and when I got the surprise charge at the window, I didn't realize they had charged me for two fries. This is why we need people taking our orders.

Fries and apple pie are great, burgers are ok, the fish sandwich is awful.. fish taste like nothing other than what it was fried in which was something sweet. Your order is taken by AI and the two staff members are friendly but seem overwhelmed. Prices are pretty good.

Wow. So I just went through your drive thru and customer service is non existent. I asked for half Sprite half lemonade and a females voice said," NO WE DONT DO THAT." hhmm vs " I apologize sr/ ma'am we cant do that." I then asked for bbq sauce and was told it was .20 cents ..well that was disappointing.

Well the man who took my order made me feel as if I was a burden to have come to order food from a place that serves food. I don't understand how any one working with the public would think that their not so great attitude would not affect customers. They serve food thats their job I came to get food not a attitude of how I am a making their job harder by doing what they are there to get paid to do. With that said I am giving the 2 stars only off of the food it was actually quite good but when I asked for sum sauce for my frys I got a reply of how I would have to pay a additional 22 cents ( got the eye roll) & again I would have devastated there night at work to make them preform such a action. I didn't know Ralleys was that hard up to offer a condiment for a common food offered & a employee that mad at my not uncommon request. The 1 who is happy to help happy 2 take my order happy to have work is where I want to return & spend my $ at & is appreciated on the level of human kindness, a unfortunately action that is hard to find at Ralleys on a Thursday night.

Wish they had people who cared that worked here like a maneger the girls who work are normally rude!!!! Also they charge extra for extra marinara sauce even when you get the large mozzarella sticks they only give you one pack no matter what size mozzarella sticks! Everything about this place is mediocre. The burgers aren't worth it, and the fries are barely passable. They taste fine, but it's pretty clear they're using the cheapest, nastiest oil they can get. Go to In-N-Out instead. It's better and cheaper

I love the Strawberry Shakes usually 4 at a time,last eve went drive-thru (very busy) got to order found machines broken and trapped cars in front and behind 8 min to get out. Tried to call got fax machine to see if fixed or when it was possible to get my shake fix.Bit frustrating... Disabled and front window isn't an option have 2 lanes there please let us us use them

I like rally’s usually ( but not this one ) first time ever here ordered the pick two ( 2 chili dogs and a double cheeseburger ) made it a combo and got 2 apple 🍎 pies 🥧 The chili dogs did look good but had way too much ketchup on them ( I don’t know why they would put ketchup on them but they do ) So I get there I place my order she gives me my drink and I wait about15 minutes People who get there and place there order after me get there food first. And I’m waiting so eventually, one of the customers comes back and tells them they gave him the wrong order. They gave him my order so then they give him his food. Have me wait another five minutes and give me the food they gave him which is now cold I asked for a refill and she tells me they cannot do that. I will have to pay for a new drink ( crazy. If you would have given me my order I wouldn’t have had time to drink all of it ) so anyway Back to the food 👎👎 I only ate one chili dog and it was pretty bad. I did eat the double cheeseburger, but it was not that good and very small. The fries were decent but a little overcooked, and honestly the apple pies were the best part of the meal, but they were cold because they had given them to another customer and he had to bring them back. So with all that being said, I probably would return because it is the closest rally’s to me but honestly, I wouldn’t expect much from them.

I haven't been at Rally's for 25 years and was disappointed with the quality of the food. I don't know if my taste has changed over the years or if their food quality has gone down. Either way, its nothing I would go back to eat again.

I used to like going here not anymore.The people that they hire don't care about what the food looks like, they jam it into the bag the quality is not good I'm switching to Burger King until they can do better!!!!

Was craving Rally's so drove there from Vista (not a short drive) and couldn't have had a worse experience. The two teenage girls running the place were incredibly rude. The food was cold crap, and they only gave us half of our order. Thirteen bucks for two 1.00 hot dogs, a cheeseburger, and an order of chili fries. They refused to give us a receipt, and then told us we didn't order what we had ordered. Don't waste the drive over there, The place has been pretty much the same every time we have gone there.

First time at Rally's, on several friends' recommendations. Sadly, it will also be my last time. First, I went through the drive-thru and attempted to order the Family Variety Bundle, and none of the employees knew anything about it (including the individual that I surmise was the supervisor), and they told me that it "must be an online only thing." Except, there's no mention of it being online only on the website. So, I pulled through the drive-thru, parked in a stall, and did my order online for pickup.The order confirmation said that it would be ready in 6 minutes and that I could drive up to any lane and inform the associate that I was there to pick up my order, so I waited in a stall for the given time. Given the order confirmation's directions, I elected to pull through the right lane, as I didn't have a passenger, and reaching across my car to the passenger side and attempting to reach the food/drinks from the window that is higher than my car seemed asinine. I pull up to the window, let the employee know, and he said it was being bagged on the left side. Cool, I don't mind waiting a little longer. Then another associate asked me to pull to the left lane, so I explained the issue with being able to securely grab the food/drinks without dropping them or spilling, he still asked me to pull to the other side. So, I did. I get to the other side, and wait an additional 3 minutes at the window, without so much as an acknowledgement of me being there, and the manager/supervisor just opens the window and kind of shoves the bag of food down into my car. Then I try to get the drink, and guess what? I couldn't get a firm grip and it ended up spilling all over my passenger seat. If I could rate the review a 0 star, I would have done that instead. I was wholly dissatisfied with the staff and their knowledge of the menu, though I should mention that it seemed like one was in training so some leeway can be given there. Given the lack of mention of online versus in-store specials on the website, additional direction needs to be given to employees (especially management), and there is additional opportunity for customer service training even with management. I was buying for 7 people, and none of us will be returning.

I went here because the line for TJ tacos was too long. This place isn’t worth it. We pulled up and thought about eating at the tables but all were taken up by the entire homeless population of Escondido and just stare at you while you wait for your food. Their burgers are greasy and soggy and don’t even have onions, lettuce, tomatoes etc. I felt gross after the first bite and even worse halfway through. -5/5

An employee deliberately tried charging me an extra 30 cents for a strawberry milkshake, until I had her come outside and see the menu price tag for herself. She knew I caught her trying to cheat me, so I cancelled my order and left...

well first off they have messed up my orders more then once or forgot something in my order, to top it off im in bed right now with food poisoning again for the 2nd time in a row from eating at ralleys. the staff there are dumb as stumps and i have found a hair in my fries once as well. I will not eat there again especially with me getting food poisoning twice.

i came today 3/27/23 around 2:30 pm and the manager that served us at the window was SO rude. i work at a busier food chain and to respond to your customers in the way she did was completely unacceptable, especially for a manager. my sister asked for a small modification at the window, which i understand is inconvenient, but the manager complained almost immediately and said “it’s already made” with an attitude and then told us “ur gonna have to wait 6 min. next time order it correctly at the speaker” in the most passive aggressive tone. absolutely not. we were the only car there as well. you would think the manager would be more understanding than their crew members, especially with the robot order taker, but apparently not and it seems like others have had similar experiences. the food was fine but that interaction was enough to not enjoy it at all. most likely will not be coming back.

Went to the drive thru for lunch today after not eating there for 10 years. Now I know why it'll be another 10 plus. Automated ordering in the drive thru. Ridiculous. Added bacon that didn't make it on my burger. Tacos are so nasty my mechanics won't even touch them. Wonder if the homeless would even eat them. Never going back.

This used to be one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite or an ice cream cone. The food quality has just been going down hill, the soft-serve ice cream tastes like McDonald's now (which i don't enjoy) and the homeless and drug activity population surrounding the entire restaurant has gotten so out of control that I don't feel comfortable even pulling through the drive-thru anymore.

The last two times the orders were wrong and the last time we had to pull into the parking lot and wait 10 minutes for our food. Just to have to walk up and ask/remind them about our order, while other drive thru customers were getting their orders immediately. The women who work there fixed the issues and apologized but that didn't fix having to drive all the way back just to get the right order. The number they have online doesn't work or they just don't answer. The first few times we ate there was great. Now its terrible for multiple reasons. It costs extra money for dipping sauces which lately they've been forgetting to even add to the bag. Normally I don't write reviews just stars but this place is TERRIBLE as of the past 2 months.

Very Bad Service, they forgot some of my food which is ok, but when I brought it to there attention, they accused me of lying and made me collect all of the food I had given to my family and bring them back the bag so they could inspect it. I will not go back because of this. the burgers were not good, the fries were good.

The person who just served me at the window was extremely rude. I was given the wrong drink and when I let her know it was wrong, she tried to argue with me and tell me that I did order that drink. Word of advice: I know what I ordered, and it’s okay if it’s wrong as long as it’s corrected, but never try to TELL someone what they ordered. I was really excited to try their food since I’ve never been here, but I won’t be coming back. Do better.

Over the years,Rally's in Escondido was one of our favorite fast food restaurants. However, over the past 1-2 years the quality and service have degraded to a point that is no longer acceptable. Today, Aug.6, 2022, we were served, through drive through, 2 spicy chicken sandwiches and french fries that were tantamount to uneatable. Both sandwiches had chicken patties that were overcooked and so dry not only couldn't we bite through them, we could barely cut them into small pieces with a knife. In addition, the fries which we have always enjoyed, were so overcooked they were dry and harder to eat than potatoes chips. Since there is a McDonalds And Carl's Jr restaurants on facing corners and Farmers Boys within a block, we probably will not return to this location. BUYER BEWARE!

If I only could put zero stars I would , does EBT customers treated bad???? YES ! The policy of Rally’s you can’t drive thru you have to order your food by walking to the window even if you have a car it doesn’t matter. I wonder why this decision is made by the owner ? We all go thru hard time lots of people need help. This is sad. Sometimes life is not fare , one day you are rich the next you can loose everything, threat people equal we are not 3rd world country treat everyone the same . Shame on you !!!

Extremely disappointed with our recent visit to Rally’s. My fiancé drove 30 minutes home only to realize our order was wrong and several items were missing. We tried calling the store twice — no answer either time. We even drove all the way back to return the food and let them know, but after handing the food back, the staff disappeared for about 15 minutes without any communication. This level of service is unacceptable. If you’re short-staffed, hire more people or train your current team to communicate and double-check orders. Customers shouldn’t have to go through all this just to get the meal they paid for.

Used to go to Rally’s in LA all the time and coming out here, this is the closest to my house in Riverside. Very disappointing experience. The food is meh. Look at that burger, so plain and flat unlike the picture on the menu. Supposed to be a BBQ burger. Everything else was normal though. Price wasn’t too bad for this economy at $9 for a med combo + apple pie. But this is still overpriced compared to a few years ago and doesn’t make up for the pathetic burger. The apple pie was good, better than most other fast food places nowadays. The service is poor, at best. The AI at the drive thru sucks and is pointless. I said I wanted honey mustard and it added to my order and then told me they don’t have it. You’re a computer, how did you not know this information when I directed to you at first? I hate talking to computers and this is just dumb. Guy at the window talked over me and didn’t answer my question, quoted me the wrong price (but did change it and apologized “my bad”), and then handed me my order without saying anything. I had to visually check to make sure this was everything and wasn’t missing anything. He didn’t even look at me when handing me my order. And then just closed the window without any indication that we were done here. Didn’t ask me if I wanted any condiments either despite me asking him also about honey mustard. I clearly wanted something for the fries or something else in my order. Thanks for ignoring me… Never coming back here again. May not ever go to any other Rally’s ever again if this is what they’re doing for all their locations too. Such a shame for what used to be a decent fast food place.
