I came here with my family and had an outstanding experience! A welcoming clean atmosphere, great service and excellent food. I was served by Tyler and her energy was on point! She was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. Definitely going to ask for her next time I come back

We had a great visit. Everything was great, except the restaurant was very empty. (economy again? shrug) The food and service was perfect. The prices might be considered a touch on the higher side, but it wasn't terrible. We splurged. App, + dinner + dessert set us back ~$33 per person. We love the broccolini.

I remember going Dubai location near Altamonte when I was younger and I used to enjoy the food. We tried take out a few times and most of the time it was great. A few times they were issues but they were quick to fix the issues. The manager, John, was very helpful and very understanding of the issues and was always willing to help. A few times we ordered food the pasta was a little bit drier than what we would typically enjoy and my household but they were always willing to accommodate if we asked for a little extra. Overall I highly recommend this place. I'm not entirely sure why they don't have a lot of locations but their food is good and the service is nice.

We tend to come here every 7-10 days with the family, and it's a restaurant we always fall back to when we want to eat out and don't really have an idea where to go. Lately, they seem to cycle through new waitresses/waiters, but overall, the food is good, and the kids enjoy their kids meals. The bread is hot and tasty. I wish the wait staff passed by the table a little more often to refill drinks and perhaps grab another bread while the food comes out, but overall, it's a good stop.

I don’t remember the last time I went to a Macaroni Grill, so I’m glad to say that the food was amazing! Our waitress Tyler was very friendly and laid back. Best of all, she didn’t throw up on me, so that was a plus! I will definitely be coming back for the amazing food and lack of puke!

Our server Becca was super nice & we never had to want for anything! The lobster bisque was super delicious along with the Pasta Milano & the Pasta Rustica. Better than Carrabas. I honestly don’t understand why the place wasn’t packed because the restaurant is beautiful on the inside too. First time we went to the Macaroni Grill ever & we will definitely be back!

The bar tender dylan is probably the funniest, kindest, and most professional person to ever wait on me. He made sure every piece of my dining experience went exactly how the perfect dining experience should go and deserves six raises. Besides that the environment is incredibly professional and polished. The food is always amazing no matter what I order, and i genuinely love dining here because each time is better then the last!

Haven't been to this Macaroni Grill in about six years. Wow! We were so happy we chose to have Easter dinner here. Our server, Andrew, was phenomenal! Nice to have a server with some personality who is happy to wait on guests and anticipate their needs. The food was very good and manager checked on us and chatted with us too. We will be back!

I get here around 3-4 so it's not crowded. The bread and olive oil is so delicious it's fresh made and is a favorite of mine. Also I come for the Monday BOGOs. So far the only one that didn't impress me was the chicken Parm, but all the other ones are so delicious and the ingredients are fresh. Service is fantastic.

Our family came here for a birthday dinner and our server Tyler G did an incredible job of making sure we were well taken care of. She went above and beyond in every way and had a great attitude about any curveballs we gave. Thank you Tyler for making our dinner experience amazing!!

My server was Alexis and she was fantastic! My boyfriend and I walked in right before close (not knowing they closed earlier that night) and she was not rushing us and still took her time with us. Let me start out by saying we had the fastest service by far! I feel like we didn’t have to wait for anything but everything was still fresh and delicious. Tyler was amazing! She greeted us at the door with a joke and beautiful smile! She made us laugh and we connected right away! I’m sure she was confused a little over us being upset so we told her we needed some comfort food. We had three deaths this week, dad, family friend, and my niece from a drunk driver this very morning. We were trying to be distracted and she really did the trick. We have not been to a macaroni grill since we left Georgia as it is two hours from where we live now in Florida. We were headed this way to go to a particular store. It did not disappoint and our server Tyler was absolutely phenomenal and made the experience even more memorable and special for us!!! Worth the drive!!

This is one of my favourite restaurants and has been since I was a little kid, and I hadn’t been back in quite a few years. The food was delicious as per usual, and our waitress Tyler made it such a wonderful experience for my friend and I! We couldn’t have asked for a better server. She was so sweet, humorous, personable, and was even kind enough to gift us a free dessert, which made our day. My chicken Marsala was tasty, though the lunch portion was quite small. The large serving of lasagna came with a generous salad, which was probably a better value. We had finished our meals at both tables before taking advantage of having the opportunity to ask for bread. All of the butter went to the other table, but the bit of seasoning remaining in our bowls provided added flavor to the already good, fresh bread. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere pleasant enough except for the cold temperature--even wearing jackets and sitting near the fireplace. Nevertheless, it turned out to be a good place to play bridge and for everyone to select a favorite meal from the variety offered. None of us had to hostess or prepare lunch, so we could play more with greater concentratration, and the location worked well for all of us. We felt welcome there and would certainly consider returning for another special afternoon.

My friends and I had a great time today at Macaroni Grill on Red Bug Rd. It was late afternoon so it was pretty quiet so we were able to talk among ourselves without talking loudly. Our server, Shannon was amazing! Personable, efficient and helpful in both recommendations as well as our seating comfort. Also unruffled when we had "spillage" that was totally my fault. She quickly changed linen, reset table and replaced my drink all the while being so pleasant. The food orders were correct ,hot and delicious. Loved the fried ravioli, caprese salad and fried mozzarella..all great appetizers! Dinners were great and the icing on the cake was that our espressos were properly made and served correctly! You would think that is not such a big deal but it is not something that happens very often.Looking forward to returning in 2 weeks!

Food was amazing, I decided to go all out and buy 3 entrees for 3 people and lots of appetizers and w the tip it’s like $140! It's always a great food experience for our family. The food is absolutely delicious.The staff is very friendly. Also the service is amazing. We don't eat at Macaroni Grill a lot. We're just not big pasta eaters. It's probably been about 8 months since we've been here. Unfortunately, today happens to be Valentine's Day and it was packed. BTW, did you know you can make reservations here? Rick was our server and he did the best that he could since he had to service many, many tables. Although we received our entrees before our salads, it was fine with us. Overall, it's good food, a nice atmosphere, and we've always gotten great service.

We've been coming here for years. Food quality and service definitely improved in the last 6 months. They had more servers, A/C was fixed, chef in the galley inspecting all food coming out. We asked the server if mgmt has changed and chefs and prep cook have seen changes (for the better). We're coming back sooner than later! They still need to fix that neon sign or get rid of it all together (looks janky). Lobster Bisque was worlds better than it ever has (more chunky in the lobster pieces and fresh), onion/scallions, pepper and salt were well-balanced and delicious!It kicked Ruth Chris's butt this time! Keep up the great progress! It was great seeing Macaroni Grill with increased business again. Keep investing and you'll see higher return-frequency clients!

Have not been here in a while, but the service and food is just as good as I remember. Prices are fair and a good spread of options on the menu. Great place to go with or without the whole family!

Food was very good but we were most impressed with how friendly and sympathetic our waitress was, we asked to change tables because we thought the booth was a bit tight, then my son spilled water over the table so had to change again, and our waitress moved us around with all smiles! We ordered chicken Alfredo that was fresh, cheesey and creamy. The kids Alfredo was generously portioned and also delicious! We subbed the Alfredo noodles with penne and capellini noodles, which is nice to have that option. I ordered the build your own, with capellini noodles, a mix of arrabiata and creamy garlic sauce (divine!), and roasted garlic, tomatoes and Italian sausage. It, too, was delicious! The bread was fresh, and of course, tasty. My only negative review is regarding the price. I get that most establishments have increased prices, but the cost per dish here is a bit high, in my opinion, especially if you want to add meat to your meal on the create your own - $4 for Italian Sausage is a but steep on top of the $18 pasta. At least the serving size is large enough to take some home for another meal.

They downsized their menu due to COVID which I understand but they still have the classics. I always like coming here for dinner. The food is fairly priced, always fresh with good sized portions, and the market lights add that calming ambience. Overall, I usually have exceptional food here. Since c19 the menu seems to have been simplified . The novelty of drawing on the table paper is gone, and the food rated about a 7 out of 10 this time. Thankfully the warm bread and olive oil with fresh cracked pepper saves the day. This place has a lot of nostalgia for me, so I'm glad this one is still open. The staff was attentive, and the place looked great. Will eat here again.

Ordered broccolini with the Fettuccini Alfredo. It was not trimmed properly, so what I got was mostly very undercooked stalks with very few buds. The Fettuccini Alfredo was good, though, and the server was very attentive. Also had the Tomato Basil Soup that was excellent.

My wife and I enjoy this place but it is unfortunately no longer in our area. We went later at night and the service was a little slower than desired. I believe this is more due to place running a skeleton crew as our waitress was great. I created my own pasta bowl and my wife got some sort of butternut squash tortellini. They were both excellent. I did roasted asparagus, Italian sausage, roasted mushrooms and spicy sauce. I didn't taste my wife's leftovers till almost 3 days later and it was surprisingly good even cold. My wife said the taste really held up being leftovers.

Food was excellent. The server (Tyler) did a great job, but the reservation was strange. Made a reservation and showed up on time to a restaurant that was less than half full on a Friday night. The host told us to wait 10 minutes because he just sat some parties. I completely understand the need to space out tables, but then why take the reservation? Not a huge deal, but not having to wait was a big factor in why we chose the restaurant and made a reservation.

***Update*** Corporate reached out in less than 24 hours after this review was brought to their attention, extending their apologies and resolutions to improve all future dining experiences. The gentleman that called was very apologetic and sincere - I look forward to giving Macaroni Grille another shot in the near future. Decided to have dinner here on a Friday night at around 6pm with my parents, but overall we were disappointed with the food, atmosphere, and service. When we approached the host stand, there was a man seemingly complaining to an employee for about 5 minutes before we were acknowledged and the line behind us started building up. Then, we found that the A/C was broken and we were seated next to a large fan that was blowing almost directly at us, making our hair blow everywhere. Our waiter was okay in the beginning, but we had to ask for refills and my mom’s chicken had a bad texture (almost inedible), along with her sangria being tasteless. The waiter was overworked and was not very attentive as we waited about 10-15 minutes after we were clearly finished eating before we had to ask for the check. It’s just frustrating to spend over $130 on sub-par food & drinks with no air-conditioning (After reading past reviews, it looks like the A/C has been broken for over 8 months) We’ve been longtime patrons of this particular restaurant, used their catering numerous times, and brought large parties to dine in the past several years and always loved the experience. It is disappointing to have to write a poor review, but we hope in doing so that the management and/or the owner will make improvements as we’d hate to see this Macaroni Grille close its doors.

Food tasted great. Portions were large enough that I should have another meal from the leftovers. Had bread and Ceasars salad before entree so that contributed to being full as well. Tyler was a very attentive server. Prices are reasonable for the portion size but seem a little higher than competitors. The $2 inflation surcharge was a surprise.

I always have been fan of this restaurant but I didn't come back for long time ago, because I love try new places. So we come back for my daughter's birthday and we had good time. The service continued been good but I think the cooking change. The food was good but I remember last time was great. The food is good but I think is loosing the Italian flavor. The menu is no so fancy or elegant, it switches to a plastic menu with a couple of options. But nothing bad. So I just think the food is loosing the yummy flavor. For me my dish was ok, good but not fantastic. And I was really hungry. My kids ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken and I get the Pollo

Always a pleasurable experience. Sad they never are busy when we come, which doesn't bode well. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. The crispy brussel sprouts were a treat, and we had our usual parmesan crusted chicken salad for our lunch entree.

The service was pretty good but the prices are up and I didn't feel like we got the value for the money. My meal was a beautiful shrimp dish, but the sauce didn't go through to the bottom where there was a big pile of plain pasta. Plus they were skimpy with the spinach and mushrooms, which were the only ingredients besides the shrimp. The taste was great. Not sure it was worth the price. My husband loved the mommas trio. Maybe we'll try again.

My recent experience revealed inconsistencies with food quality and service expectations. Fettuccine Alfredo, though flavorful, suffered from undercooked pasta, while the perfectly cooked shrimp provided a redeeming aspect to the dish. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. Despite specific requests, our server brought sweet tea instead of unsweetened for my son and upon asking for water instead, forgot for over 20 minutes. Moreover, attention seemed diverted to a neighboring tables' alcoholic beverages rather than simply correcting a child's drink so that they may eat their meal without burning their mouth. Despite these challenges, with focused improvements in food quality and service standards, they'll regain their status as a top choice, even on slower nights.

Macaroni Grill is a nice place for a family dinner. They have paper lining the tables so that kids can draw which I find really cute. I was surprised that they had a few lower calorie dishes- I got the pomodoro tortelacci and it was really good! Our server was really friendly and helpful.

Looks like upper management must've been reading reviews since a couple years ago. Went for dinner with the family and we all enjoyed our dishes. We of course always enjoy using the crayons and drawing on the paper tablecloths. It is great just to get everyone off their phones. We enjoyed a few drinks and a good evening with some leftovers for the day after.

The recipes have changed, perhaps for the worse. 2 Penne Rustica- both oily, congealed, dry on top and mushy on the bottom. Haven't had a chance to try this chain for years and won't do so again.

We expected better but the food we ate was mediocre. The mozzarella sticks were really good but everything else was disappointing. We both had pasta dishes and they lacked flavor, mind you we has cheese added on top and still it didn't help. It was very busy, so its not like they had to rush. My Wife and I agreed, that even with a buy one get one free deal, we wouldn't return. It's ashame because the restaurant was really nice.

Romanos Macaroni Grill was delicious. Our waitress Becca was very professional, light founded and super funny. Not to mention the food was so good and the plating was beautiful. We had minor inconveniences with the environment, we ate early dinner time. 6-7. No rush, restaurant was not crowded whatsoever. There was zero excuse for the atmosphere. The men’s bathroom was dirty, there was a disgusting, overused apron laid over the sink hanging off of the faucet. We also had an issue with bugs, we were seated and noticed them almost instantly. We were moved to another table, we had the same problem there and began to notice this issue on multiple tables surrounding us. Becca was very understanding, and handled the situation well. The service, food and staff were all amazing. Just minor issues with the cleanliness in the environment, as well as the management. I am somewhat shocked that we didn’t receive any kind of discount or at least an apology from management. The bugs pretty much minded their business so if you don’t mind hanging with the dudes…. 10/10 recommend for you! #DinningWithTheDudes

Should have known that something changed by the empty parking lot on Friday night at 6pm. AC seemed to not be working properly. 1 drink took 15 minutes “because a server was covering for the bartender”. The place was almost empty. Had to ask for bread. Food and new server were very good but won’t be going back. $69 for 2 pasta meals 2 salads and one drink.

We were wondering why the parking lot a RMG has been so empty lately. Now we know. Since we haven't eaten there in maybe 2 years we thought we would try it for my wife's birthday. Her favorite dish there is the mushroom ravioli. Wow, $17 and a salad is extra. I thought I would get something I could take half home for lunch the next day so I selected the carbonara. Wow, $18 and no salad. The serving size was just barely enough for a single meal and not really enough to split. If you want a much better carbonara, try Cafe Penuzzo's. Much better taste and texture plus a lot more reasonable with a salad. Service was nothing special. We had to ask twice for lemons for our tea. Went to this place for my first time wanting to use a gift card I received as a present. The waitress said they just changed companies, and they don't work with this card anymore. In that case, why are they not honoring the cards still out? How come this is the customer's fault? I found that very poor customer oriented. Also, she almost forgot to complete my order. I would have left without the Brussels. Honestly, I was already there, so I went and completed the order, but the food wasn't as great, and the fact that nothing was offered to resolve the card situation was very disappointing. The pasta was dry and the Brussels too salty. Here's a picture of the card and the $25 I couldn't use at this location.

This place use to be great but unfortunately over the past 10 years it's just gone downhill so far its a rundown, poorly managed place at this point. The walls were cracked, dirty, covered in crayon food etc. The food was terrible, bland to say the least. We went today for dine in. We placed our order and we noticed that it is getting warm inside the place. We asked the waitress if they can turn up the Air-conditioning and she said that they haven't had no AC for a month now. We just canceled our order and told the waitress that we had to leave. I'm not sure how the employees at this macaroni grill can survive coming to work everyday for the whole month with no Air-conditioning. It is really ridiculous. That is really very unhealthy for the employees and the customers. Florida is a very hot and humid state and you really cannot survive here without any air at any place you go to. We are so disappointed.

It is incredible that I paid so much money for a plate of chicken if it only has 5 mini pieces, I am very upset, but very upset. I really wanted to eat from this restaurant so they would only give me pasta with alfredo, I can do that at home.

Valentine’s Day is ruined. We had a 7:15 reservation that we were on time for. After waiting in a 20 minute line for the host stand, we were told that we would have to wait an additional 45 minutes to an hour to be seated due to over booking. No manager was present and no employees took the liberty of informing the line out the door of the situation unfolding. There are so many things that management could have done to prevent this from happening, and so many things that could have been done to cushion the blow of the bad news. I was essentially told to deal with it and wait or leave. I’ve never had a worse experience at a restaurant without even being seated. I’ve loved macaroni grill since I was a child and I’m embarrassed for this establishment after this experience. Do better.

Worst Valentines Day experience. They overbooked reservations and people who had reservations had to wait at least 45 minutes. We have two young children and the wait time would put us home way past bedtime on a school night. The staff and managers were unapologetic and did nothing to accommodate the people waiting. They had an entire bar area with four empty tables and when we asked to sit there they said we can’t let you sit there unless you are ordering drinks at the bar (meanwhile my husband is already in line to get drinks—they changed their tune when I pointed that out). What provoked me to write this review was not the mistake of overbooking, it was the complete lack of empathy and pitiful customer service to accommodate the customers who had reservations.

I usually LOVE Macaroni Grill, but although it said it was open on the internet, it was actually closed down. The only one in the Orlando area now is in the airport.

Worst service I’ve ever had. There was literally almost no one else there and the food took forever. The server was dry and I had to flag her down for a refill or the check. All the servers just chatted and didn’t even acknowledge us. They even left the plates on a nearby empty table when the people left and it was still there 50 minutes later when we left. Also I am pretty sure there was at least one violation of the health department and NRFSP. I’ve never seen service this bad… very disappointed.

This location has always been one of our favorites—calm and peaceful. However, our recent visit was disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Caprese, and it was bland, tough, cold, and rubbery. The arugula was soggy, and overall, the dish was unappetizing. Despite this, it won’t stop us from returning, as we still love the food. On another note, the waitress seemed very on edge. The restaurant was empty, but she appeared nervous, hyperventilating, and jittery.

Extremely disappointing dinner. On the menu it says Land & Sea options come w/ soup or salad. Nope...not anymore. My pork chop was if I had cooked it at home myself. $27 for a tough piece of meat. I was really looking forward to the mushroom parmesan risotto. It was bland. My husband's chicken parmesan was somewhat dry & overcooked. We have been coming to Romanos for more than 25 years. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

It’s Christmas Day and I’m so disappointed. I ordered two dinners for takeout. First dish was rigatoni with meat sauce. The sauce was spicy and the noodles were pasty tasting. Not edible! The second dish was Pasta Milano. The chicken was so dry my guest couldn’t eat it. I am so upset that I just threw $40 in the trash! Used to be good, not sure what happened but I won’t be making this mistake again. UPDATE: Denise, the Manager sent me a credit to come in and try again. Much appreciated- thank you!

I was really looking forward to eating here because I live nowhere near a Macaroni Grill and I love the mushroom ravioli. Sadly, I spent the entire time killing bugs on my table. They looked like small roaches. The wine glasses were dirty too. It’s definitely not a hygienic restaurant.

First time order food from just restaurant, it turned out to be a great disappointment! The penne is not cooked, it tastes too hard and chewy. The meatballs are too dried, and the bottom is burned. Some of the mushroom are uncooked, the Brocolini is also uncooked. In addition, the whole plate is so greasy, oil dripped out of my mouth with every bite I took. Overall, it is a horrible experience, I don’t think I will order here again.

Don't ask for the chicken parmesan... after we called the waitress for the food presentation, she asked if it is not acceptable for my standards. Of course its not, burned chicked is not aceptable. Also, they seved the wine in a dirty glass... poor quality of food here

Food is great, service is slow.... especially if you do carry out.....they have to go all the way in the back to get change when they have a register right in the lobby....don't go to the Winter Springs location....the ph lines are still on, but they are closed

So, this Macaroni Grill in particular has been our go to for Birthdays, Graduations, etc. for many years. This time was an experience that will ensure we never come back. Our service and food were both great until a bug crawled out of my penne pasta, over the side of the plate and across/off the table as we all watched in complete shock/horror. Just as we told our server, who was not in the least bit surprised, I said how I wished we had it on video. Well, no worries there because in less than 5 minutes ANOTHER smaller bug went walking across the table like he owned the place. This time, we immediately trapped it in an empty wine glass (see video). Our server had the nerve to say she would let the manager (btw, NO MANAGER ON DUTY AT ALL) know AFTER we left, and that its a "very clean restaurant that gets sprayed constantly and JUST passed a health inspection". NO. I insisted she get the "manager" (aka random chef from the kitchen since there was no manager on duty)...who stopped by to let us know he had just called the "regular exterminator" and he was coming out tomorrow. Well, he sure must be on great terms to reach him immediately and have an appt. for the very next morning, just saying. They still kindly left the check for us and asked if we needed anything else. After we gathered our jaws up enough to leave, they did comp. our check, however not without a fight. We will literally never return to this location, especially after reading all the other recent reviews mentioning bugs. Come on now.

Not a good visit by any means. Did not feel welcome at all. We felt like an inconvenience, we were not difficult by any means. As someone who works in the restaurant industry as a server/bartender for 15 years, I don't think we will be back. I hate writing bad reviews but the visit was not at all pleasant and we were not difficult . My girlfriend and I came in. No one was there, we still waited a good minute to be greeted at our table. I won't name drop our server, he may have been having a bad night or under the scrunity of bad management. We told him we were looking forward to having Macroni Grill, my girlfriend was craving it and it was our only night off together (date night). He seemed to be in a rush and did not attend to us very well. The menu had a bug on it. We weren't offered any bread and had to ask when he came back after not getting any to begin with. We ordered pretty quickly so we didn't hold him up, it seemed very hard to get him back to the table. My girl had a sweet tea and he never gave her a refill on it, I put the glass at the edge of the table for him to see it but nothing happened, she ended up just drinking my coke. We finally got our refill once she finished my drink as our entrees arrived. I stacked both glasses and still had to say hey can we get a refill and he said oh. She ordered a salad that never made it out, he told us he was sorry. She asked when the entrees came if she could get some grated cheese and black pepper. He never came back for that so I got up myself, found the black pepper and did it myself for her, couldn't find the cheese so I found him and said hey can we get the grated cheese please and he then came over (he was rolling silverware) and did it. I would have done it myself if I had known where it was. We weren't enjoying ourselves at that point and felt unwelcome so we had our server get us to go boxes and the check. I pre-bussed the table, since he didn't. $65 check for an unsatisfactory expierence to say the least, not happy. Didn't even want to stick around for a manager, let alone desert. The food was decent but I had a feeling after seeing the restaurant sign and how there were only 4 letters lit up, that the restaurant may not be taken care of (saying in the industry). I don't know what else to say, wrote a note on the table in crayon. Hope this helps better the next person's expierence here.
