We hosted our end of the year holiday party here and it was an absolute DREAM! The Vera team did an amazing job, making the planning so easy. The day of everything was flawless, letting our members have an amazing time. Every person who walked into the party remarked on what a great space it was. And the FOOD! Incredible. Every dish was delicious. Truly couldn't imagine a better experience.

Wow, my group had such a great night here! The service was fantastic - such nice people, especially the general manager and events coordinator! We saw they were completely booked online but because it was a special event, we emailed them and they were able to accommodate us. The drinks were decent but the food was fantastic! My favorites: the chicken, the shrimp fritters, shawarma and the beet salad. I’m very familiar with the flavors as an Arab but adding the Mexican components (like corn, Oaxaca cheese) was refreshing!

Milena was an absolute star from helping us select the perfect menu to ensuring every detail of the setup was flawless. She and her team went above and beyond to make sure our event was seamless. The space itself is stunning beautifully designed, modern, and full of character. The photos online truly don’t do it justice. If you’re looking for a venue that combines elegance, exceptional service, and genuine care, this is the place. Our guests were blown away, and we can’t wait to host another event here!

This place was truly awesome. Our waiter Kevin was super nice and took care of us. The hostess up front was soo nice she kept us entertained until our table was ready. The food was delicious and the drinks well made. We walked in and did not have to wait long for a party of 7. Definitely would recommend 👌🏽.

Had my birthday dinner here first thing to note was that the waiter was great very attentive and always acting friendly. Always a great way to start a dinner. On top of that everything we had was excellent. The drink menu was great and very refreshing. Would recommend this place. The only thing I will say is the parking situation is not ideal we ubered. The neighborhood is a rough place and not very inviting. But other than that had a great time.

Literally THE BEST and I have NEVER experienced a brunch experience like this one before. I was aware it was family style, I was aware there was going to be belly dancer, but what I was not prepared for was the night life and vacation environment like I was teleported somewhere exotic and magical! It reminded me of an episode of white lotus. In real. 😂 The restaurant was beautifully decorated, clean, and bright. The server was so suave and attentive, and the food… oh man! SO DELICIOUS! EVERYTHING was amazing. The humus I would order again and again. The feta dip had an amazing zing. The Wagu was so clean, and the dessert tasted good enough for me to want to throw my diet out the window! Everyone has to experience this magical place at least once. RUN!

I had brunch at Vera Cocina last Sunday and had a lovely time. The show stopping performer (belly dancer) was amazing and interacted with all the patrons including my friends and I at our table. The drinks are so freaking good and the food is excellent. The establishment is a bit pricey but in all honesty you get what you pay for. I had a great experience overall. Cheers!!!!!

Dc was the place to be on Saturday nite. Made Reservations for 930p here and I would do it again in a heartbeat 💓. Service , admosphere and food outstanding!! Food of choice was Zaalar Cordero( lamb), Shrimp and Brocolini delish! The restaurant has two levels lower level bar and upper level bar and dinning area. Once dinner is done around 11pm the tables clear and it is time to get on the floor and dance💃 🕺. People slowly came in and it got busy. There is a cover charge if you come in after 11. They also have bellydancing I didn't get change to see that...next time. If in the area go in and enjoy!!

Excellent fusion restaurant in the Ivy City neighborhood of Washington D.C., with an amazing ambiance, and great service. The restaurant area is upstairs on the second floor, with a cozy seating area perfect for those who like to share food, and a regular tabled area for more "normal" dining. On the first floor is their waiting area, a great bar lounge, and a big club area for events. Great fun place!

I recently had my birthday dinner here and it exceeded my expectations. Fatima made my reservation easy and comfortable, our server was super sweet and the brisket bone marrow was my favorite and the pistachio tres leches was perfect! The ambiance was aesthetically pleasing and you can see the attention and love put into this space. We will definitely be back :)

This is a rare time that a restaurant is a 5 star in food, service and atmosphere. Everything we ordered tasted great- the labneh, hummus were amazing appetizers and the entres that we tried were pretty amazing too. - the burgers, salmon avocado toast and haloumi sandwich were amazing. The pistachio tree leches was a highlight. The service and dances were definitely an added bonus and made the vibe even better.

Atmosphere was great, definitely recommend date nights here! Food was delicious, portions are a little small but everything was well made. I’d recommend the shrimp balls, mole kefta, wagyu sliders, and pistachio tres leches. Definitely would get some things and again and skip on others, but a really cool concept for a menu and delicious food nonetheless!

The belly dancing show was a full-body vibe and immersive. The performers didn’t just entertain; they invited us into the rhythm. The energy in the room was electric, thanks to performers who captivated every table and made sure no one felt like a spectator. If I could wish for one more sparkle, it would be magic to see all the performers adorned in elevated costumes to match the brilliance of their presence. Still, the experience was unforgettable, a celebration of movement, flavor, and connection. Highly recommend for anyone looking to turn a meal into a moment.

Such a wonderful brunch spot with so many unique and delicious dishes! The best part? The show! The dancers brought incredible energy, lighting up the room and even getting the crowd up and dancing—it turned brunch into a full-on party. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Just know there’s a $25 fee for the show and a 22% automatic gratuity, but honestly, the lively atmosphere and entertainment made it totally worth it!

Service was decent even though they forgot about our table at the end to take our dessert order. Area of the restaurant is quite suspect. Food was average especially considering the price points. Overall the food was lacking flavor and small in portions. Our main steak dish came out cold too. Ordered the churros at the end and it came with small pieces without sugar/cinnamon and a watery chocolate dip. Much better restaurant options at the price point.
