Great tasting. Seems fairly authentic. Flavors are very good. We did lemon grass beef and thr curry chicken noodles soup. Both were great.

I’ve been there, Cambodia, a nice place to go amok! I’ve been to Annie’s. Same! The Fish Amok here is as good as in Cambodia! Yum! Someone mentioned a sour taste. Lemon grass is a prominent ingredient in Southeast Asian cuisine. It is typical in this type of food. Very hard to get quality lemon in USA, this place has the real stuff!

I was looking for some chi EST food when I came upon this place. So glad I ordered my dinner from Annie's Cambodian Cuisine. The flavors were delicious and everything tasted fantastic.! I will definitely return here and soon. Treat yourself to this wonderful restaurant.

Best Asian food in Humboldt, hands down. Very distinctively Southeast Asian/Cambodian dishes available. We had a sampling of stuff: spring rolls, egg rolls, udon noodles with beef, chow fun noodles with chicken, beef and green beans, cashew chicken, lemongrass chicken...a sampling. Everyone thought everything was freakin awesome and couldn't be better. Oh and the service was great. Super friendly.

Daniel Klein

Great food and service! Only thing I would suggest to the staff is to not give you the check before done eating. They got busy (Friday night) and seemed to try and get you out sooner than later.

T

Josh, one of the servers, is awesome. He is efficient, yet seems to make sure everyone is taken care of. And how bout that mustache?! The food is consistently delicious. I've dined over 40 times and not once had anything to complain about. Also, it's authentic. I've had multiple friends return from Cambodia, eat at Annie's and say it's exactly what they had over there. All in all, you won't be disappointed.

M
Mike Kirkendall

About as close as you’re gonna get to authentic, delicious Cambodian cuisine. I’m so glad they stuck around and moved after their restaurant was closed because of rezoning. Used to go there once a week when I lived in eureka. Absolutely exquisite.

D
Danny Gatton

Hardest part is picking what to get as the menu has many great Cambodian offerings! You can get entrees. From about $10 dollars for noodle bowls up to only $18 or so for the most expensive items so relatively affordable even for lunch. The service was nice. There are some nice paintings and other Cambodian decorations and statuary. They will be moving locations soon as the building sold they have been in for years so keep your eyes open for details when that is occuring. The Thai ice tea is always good too!

J

This place is possibly the best for Asian food in Humboldt. I can't comment on the meat dishes, but they can do most vegetarian. Always fast and service with a smile. One of my favorites for eating out.

B
Bradley D. Thornton (tallship)

Truly a gem of very special ethnic cuisine in a land of mostly mediocre, standard, run of the mill greasy spoon chain restaurants and fast food establishments. If you haven't been here you must go - you will not be disappointed! Lovely and unique Cambodian dishes and specialties, yummy to perfection, with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not sure what you want? Just ask! tallship awards Annie's Cambodian Cuisine a week earned... ⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵ Five sailboats! Highly recommended.

Been craving some fresh food while out of town and Annie's Cambodian Cuisine hits the spot! Got their spring rolls and fried shrimp and it is some of the best of this type of cuisine that I have had in a while. So if you are in Eureka and looking for a good restraunt you should think of hitting this place up.

Outstanding food and service, without a doubt one of the best restaurants in town. We always order the hot pot p29

We have lived in the same area for some time. The omlete place, next door, had a waiting line. I'm glad because our second choice, Annie's Cambodian, proved to be a 'great' choice. The food n attention that we received was fantastic. Probably our best dining experience, to date.

I went to Annie's for the first time for a work lunch. Super friendly staff with a family vibe and DELICIOUS food. Reasonably priced too! My new favorite local, family owned, restaurant!

After a long day of travel and hiking it was a treat to sit down to a great meal. I can vouch for the Baiy Lok Lak and Amok Trei, both were great. The service was excellent, the wait was short and the staff was welcoming. My kids are less adventurous but they enjoyed the noodles with meatballs.

Food was great and the people were nice. I asked the waitress for a recommendation, she said that everyone loves #52, and she was right. Easily some of the best food I've had in town.

I'm doing a 7-Day Trek from San Diego to Seattle to San Diego and as I'm heading back home I found myself really worn down. So I decided to get a nice hot soup to feel better and that led me to Annie's. Not only do they have the best service, the staff were so welcoming and nice and treated me like I was at home, but they also recommended the most spectacular and complex soup I've had in a long time. It was sweet and sour and hearty and had ingredients that I have never had together in a soup: pineapple, tomato, tamarind and lime leaves. It was hot and comforting and it brought me back to life! They also directed me to the Eureka Marina where I enjoyed this wonderful creation and I now feel alive again! Thank you so much to everyone at Annie's, you are the best! I'm so glad that you came up to Eureka and are offering us travelers (and locals) a great, fresh place to enjoy :-)

Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here and would definitely eat here again when next in town. Very extensive menu with Cambodian dishes as well as I believe pan Asian dishes. Wonderful wait staff too!

Super delicious! My husband and I shared Pad Thai and the spring rolls, perfect amount of food for two people, and at a very reasonable price. Wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back! The photo I added is of the very end of our meal, I didn't think to take a photo until I was almost finished 😂

Man, what a gem. There's clearly at least one highly trained chef working behind the scenes here. Spectacular cuisine. And the young lady serving the five of us was a fount of knowledge and very, very helpful. It was one of those dining experiences that stays with you. Great job folks!

How about 100 stars for energy/atmosphere? What a gem in Eureka!! I had the pleasure of grabbing some great eats to go. No one was left hungry. My husband and I can't wait to come back to Eureka, and when we do we will be sure to dine at Annie's!!! 💜💜💜

R

The establishment was clean and surrounded in art , creating a relaxing and cheerful ambiance. The waitress was helpful and made several suggestions such as getting a different soup and adding shrimp versus just getting the shrimp soup for more bang for our buck. The food was delicious, and came in portions reasonoble for sharing, and the place was clean and comfortable. The outside looks like it is in need of a paint job, however, it was an overall pleasant experience.

The BEST restaurant in HumCo by a long shot!! Everything we’ve had is really tasty, from the stir fry ginger chicken, to the whole fried fish, the lok lak (beef), the mee kaitang and the papaya salad. I’m drooling as I write this… And glad they moved to a better location and space!!

Yum! Lemongrass soup with pork ribs and rice noodle soup (brisket, meatballs, etc) were served generously and all tasted fresh. Plenty of accoutrements (fresh herbs, peppers and mung beans). Spring rolls tasted like they'd just been made (or that morning at the earliest) and the sauce was tangy and hit the spot. Waitress was indeed by herself but she kicked butt and delivered efficient service even as the restaurant got fuller... atmosphere is pleasant, noise level is acceptable. I'm glad this Asian cuisine staple didn't disappoint, again!

Very clean, Great staff, amazing food, Even better service they give you that family owned feeling right away. Very fast with my order and not a bad price, for the amount of food we ordered. Everyone who knows me, knows I don't give out many 5 star ratings. But if you live in the eureka area or just traveling through this is a must stop place to eat! 👍👍

L

Delicious food and a great ambiance in the place. The food was really fast and oh so tasty. A wide range of options of different dietary needs, like a good sized vegetarian section of the menu.

L
Leah Harden

So good! I can’t wait to try more of the dishes. Fresh and light, no heavy oil taste like other restaurants in town. The staff is top notch. Don’t let the modest exterior fool you, this little spot on the edge of town is a gem.

Consistently delicious every appetizer, every entree, the best service as well, my favorite is the papaya salad, coconut soup, pad thai, all the curry dishes, amazing vietnamese coffee. I ake all my friends here.

Our favorite place to eat in Eureka! Always amazing food and good service. We love that they serve local beer and wine. We always get the spring rolls and Fish Amok (melt in your mouth deliciousness!), but absolutely everything we have tried has been great.

This place is amazing. The food was super delicious and fresh. They have many vegetarian options that were great. The service was super friendly, very attentive and helpful - much more friendly than the usual California dining experience.

Extremely warm and welcoming service. As soon as we sat down our server was super friendly. We got the crepe and lemongrass vegetable. Would recommend the lemongrass vegetable but the crepe might be an acquired taste.

I have sampled almost every Asian restaurant in Eureka and I had begun to despair that the best meal I could find was simply average. To my great pleasure, not only is Annie's truly excellent, their new location is in my neighborhood. Both my companion and I found the food delightful and fresh. The service was attentive and prompt. The room was clean and well maintained and the abundance of plants helped create an inviting space. We will return soon!

C

Absolutely wonderful. had great recommendations from many friends, so we stopped by. We ordered to go, but sat at the bar for a few beers and some spring rolls. They were delicious! then we were treated with a side of cheese puffs on the house🤙 Very friendly and food is amazing 👍

Best to go when it’s not super busy but almost everything on the menu is delicious. I recommend the cheese puffs and rice wrap spring rolls. Everyone is super nice there and I loved having my birthday celebration there last year.

C
Casey McCarthy

You don’t know what you have missed in your life until you eat here. I got the shrimp spring rolls and they were spectacular! That sauce has something in it because I am hooked. But even without the sauce the spring roll was so flavorful, fresh and perfect temperature. I also got the lemongrass stir fry with beef. I foolishly decided to forgo rice to soak up that delicious sauce.. luckily I had a spoon so I was able to grab some sauce while I scooped up the onions. Which were perfectly soft, but with a crunch that left me shaking my head in disbelief. I get that restaurants need food permits to serve food. But restaurants with this much flavor need a permit to warn you that the next few meals following this one will probably be disappointing. Oh, and the service was super friendly and nice. They chatted and connected with their guest. Locals and regulars (sadly I can not become one and will mourn this for years to come) were treated by name and asked how their trip, family gatherings went.

Annie's is my favorite restaurant... for lunches with colleagues, lovely dinners with my partner, delicious take-out when we don't want to cook, group meals with friends. The owners and staff are wonderful and there is literally nothing on the menu I haven't enjoyed. Signed, Your friendly neighborhood food snob who's picky about service and ambience

Amazing food‼️ their mango smoothies are the best ones I've ever had, the cheese puffs are to die for, the sweet and sour sauce was perfectly balanced and the vegetable chicken stir fry was delicious. The staff were very polite and sweet. I'll definitely be coming back to taste more of the menu.

After hiking the redwoods and looking for sand dollars in the pacific, Annie's Cambodian warmed our bellies with Gluten free Lok Lak, Gluten free crepe (Ban Chav Tofu), Gluten free & Vegan Curry (Somlar Klar), and Banh Xung, and warmed our hearts. Tony's amazing story of growing up here and putting down roots, sharing drinks and building connections, you could really feel the love in all the home-cooked meals. We are far from home, but coming to Annie's made us feel like we had come home. Thank you to everyone in the family for having us! 🍲🥗🍜🫶

Amazing gem of a restaurant in Eureka! We ordered the egg rolls, lemongrass pork bone soup, and lemongrass beef stir fry. Everything was delicious and truly Cambodian in flavor. Don’t pass up Annie’s. I had the chicken lime soup. Perfect for a cloudy, cold day. It’s a clear broth so I wasn’t expecting too much but it was so flavorful! Really one of the best soup broths I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. The noodles are also just as good but try this soup with a side of rice.

What a great restaurant. We've been eating there for a few years now and its always delicious. The new location is fantastic and lovely inside. We had the pad thai, beef salad, steak noodle soup, veggie spring rolls, and egg rolls. The ingredients are fresh, crisp veggies, and hot. The Thai tea is really good too. Our servers were wonderful, thoughtful, pleasant. The only vaguely unpleasant interaction was with the person seating us - we had tried to make a reservation for 6 but they don't take reservations so we showed up (now with only 5) and they couldn't accommodate us. The only offer the person made was that it was going to be a long wait for the one big table and we would have to maybe come back. She was not interested in solutions. We finally suggested that we could split into two parties and she doubtfully agreed. Once we were seated the fabulous servers took over and all was perfect.

Really good food. Great prices. Papaya salad, rice noodle with chicken were all good. The cheese puffs are the best! Stir fry rice was a little bland.

We liked the shrimp fried rice and shrimp rolls but they were nothing special. Liked the beef with lettuce and tomatoes but they didn't give us the rice it was supposed to come with. We're going to try again and will update review.

S
Sherri Foreman

First time there. I had the lemongrass stir fry to go [ smaller portion # 3, the rice is in the box with the entree ] & it was enough for two unless you want alot or leftovers. It was good but way too much bell pepper. The fried egg rolls were good but $6 is too much for three small ones. I would go back if I lived here. *** prices on web site are not correct.

C
Caitlin G

The food is delicious. I removed a star because Annie's is overpriced and the portions are tiny. If I'm paying $14 for beef and broccoli, I want the to-go box to be stuffed with food! Even the rice portion was small! I'm guestimating one cup of plain white rice accompanied by 4-6 slices of beef and 6-8 florets of broccoli. The egg rolls, cheese puffs and fried shrimp are awesome.

K
Kris LaFave

This is a fantastic gem of a restaurant. I ordered the beef Lok Lak, the cheese puffs, and my partner ordered the #8 (Sach Kor Aing). The portions were huge and everything was so delicious. I don't eat beef that often and I'm glad I tried it, it was very tender. We're both the kind of people who like to save leftovers for later but it was so good we both ate ours right up! Loved the chili oil. The waitstaff was wonderful as well. I really regret not catching the name of the person who was helping us, but she was super helpful and kind. My only complaint is that it seems like perhaps the pricing on their website is a little off? Be prepared for a bigger bill to pay than anticipated. It wasn't too much more than what is listed on the website, but if they could update it to reflect current prices-- my next experience with them would be a perfect 5 stars!

M
Marina Peloquin

The food is delicious and the portion sizes are great for sharing. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable enough about the menu to recommend dishes to me with my dietary restrictions of gluten, dairy, and egg. I took one star off because the wait was at least 15 minutes even though we only needed a table for two. We also stood at the door with many other people without being greeted until like 5 minutes after entering. We stopped in here on our way through town on a road trip and we were very happy we did!

S
Shannon Colby

Food was excellent. I had the chicken, lime, and cilantro soup, and my husband had the chow mein. The soup was delectable... very fresh, light, and savory. A little chili oil on top and it was perfection. My husband enjoyed his dish, too, but he liked my soup better. :) The service was unfortunately mediocre at best. The waitress was not very attentive, friendly, or quick. Other than that, Annie's offered a great experience.

L

Service and food are amazing but prices have doubled since I started going back in 2020 :/

K
Kati Texas

Food was very nicely done. Unfortunately, both entrees I ordered had ingredients not listed on the menu. I even asked to make sure and was told the thing I hate wouldn't be in my dish, but it still showed up. Be careful if you have any serious allergies. We needed separate checks for a big party, but they would only do two. Not too big a deal, but plan ahead if you need to split payments.

L
Lathe Gill

The smoothies are delicious. I had the honeydew. The beef satays were tasty but and well seasoned but a little bit fatty. The red curry was a little bland compared to the best Thai curries. The pan noodles were delicious. The spring rolls were refreshing and crispy. The crepe was unusual and aromatic. The tofu vegetable stir fry tasted of lemon grass and was compelling. Service was prompt and attentive. The restaurant was not warm enough and I was only comfortable because of my heavy jacket.

V
Vamsi KK

This place scores a solid 4.5 from me (because I don't give a 5 rating unless it's truly exceptional). The entree dishes we tried were excellent, with flavors that were delicate but clearly expressed! It felt like we were eating at a Cambodian home. The shrimp roll appetizer was a touch oily but otherwise quite good. The dessert we tried - cassava cake - was simple but hearty. Once again coconut flavored, and mildly sweet. Dish Recommendations: - Cambodian Crepe (flavors of basil & lemongrass) - Red Curry chicken (flavors of coconut milk & red curry) Service was friendly & warm, with the hostess checking on us occasionally. Food was served quickly. Interiors were bright & cheerful, along with ethnic sculptures, murals & other meaningful decorative touches.

Great service and generous portions. Food is a lot sweeter than I expected, but nonetheless good!

This was my first experience with Cambodian food - a little bit vietnamese and a little bit thai? All the dishes were fresh and flavorful. We had the spring rolls and fried shrimp, followed by shrimp pad thai and a traditional sliced beef dish topped with an over easy egg. The peanut sauce is absolutely delicious and begs to be slathered on everything. I would definitely go back and try some more dishes, like the crepe that I heard was very popular.

What a great southeast Asian restaurant off the beaten path in Eureka, California. We appreciate great food and thought this place was truly remarkable. The service was on point, the dishes were authentic, and it was perfect for our drive down the coast. Thank you, Annie, whomever you are!

Origin I was looking for Sizzler, when I get there it's closed, and this little place is located nearby. The food is pretty tasty, customer service is good. As soon as I e teres the building the server at the bar greeted me while the waitress was tending to a customer at a table. I ordered the #13, and a thai tea. Their Thai tea is tasty, and the noodles are too. And it seems like they're also moving locations.

Heard good things about this place from a roommate so I went to try with my boyfriend we are primarily pescatarian, but we also enjoy tofu and vegetarian options and I was very pleased to see that there was tons of Seafood, tofu and vegetable options. I ordered the Fish Amok which was catfish cooked in a slightly spicy and savory coconut sauce, while my boyfriend got the sweet and sour tilapia. these were two of the more expensive items on the menu but i think it was worth it. The sauce on the catfish was a bit salty for my taste, but with the fresh spinach and rice it balanced out. The sweet and sour tilapia was perfect though, sauce was balanced, fish was cooked maybe a little too much for my taste but the color and glaze looked and tasted great, and the bites of cucumber tomato and lettuce really complemented the intense flavors of the sauce and slight dryness of the fish. Thai tea and khmer coffee was also very good, they brew the coffee to order so it tasted fresh despite being iced. The most important thing to me was the atmosphere and service. the two servers working front of house were so polite and attentive, i didnt get their names but there was a bald man and a woman with a facial piercing and long ponytail. The decoration and plateware were also very beautiful and not over the top, i particularly appreciated the stainless steel water cups. Somehow they made me feel impressed with the whole ordeal. overall, I would totally recommend even if you are just wanting to stop in for some tea or coffee but dont miss out on their appetizers

The menu is varied and interesting. Dishes our party ordered were very good. Service attentive in spite of being understaffed. However the bathrooms need some serious attention. Some fresh paint couldn't hurt . After years in the food service personally, often the restroom conditions reflect those of the kitchen. Superficial observation determined that the kitchen seems sanitary but it is hoped that the bathrooms get a thorough makeover soon. Also flowers instead of dead grass in the planters next to the entrance would do wonders for the first impression. C'mon Humboldt step up your game !

We ordered red curry soup with eggplant and tofu. It came without red curry, eggplant and tofu. They forgot the herbal tea and had no ice in the water. Generally I rank it mediocre. However, shrimp spring roles were good.

Mediocre food but overpriced. The most tasty things we got are actually the white rice (note: you need to order a separate bowl of steam rice as it's better than the rice on the rice plate) and the free chili oil.

Used to love this place before the restaurant moved, especially the fish amok. Unfortunately I found it way too salty this time around and the beef salad a tad too sweet. Seeing others saying the same about the saltiness in the fish amok is validating and I hope they are able to adjust in the future! It also felt as though to go orders were prioritized as we were waiting for 20 minutes before being able to order even though they were continuing to take to go orders from people walking in.

First things first, the ethnic diversity of customers is limited to majority caucasian people. The food is one dimensional and lackluster. Everything taste mostly sweet. Long story short the food is catered towards Americanized taste buds and doesn’t taste authentic. The worst part is the prices. It’s too much for what they are asking. But this is coming from a Sacramento native perspective, where food is reasonably priced for better quality food. We were passing through. 8 items in total with no drinks equated to 124$. The workers are super friendly though.

Very disappointed for the second time in a row I decided to give them a chance after over an hour later than said time Then second order 1 week later was very disappointing soup that is very simple was half the usual order size and food was kat again by 20 min I love to support local but my friends have also had same complaints I don’t want free stuff I just want my food when it’s supposed to be ready and be up charged for half the food Im done good luck also your attitude sucks when your the one’s behind I had to add my own peppers because there was only two almost zero cilantro and three shrimp

I miss the old annies. I used to get food here all the time. When they moved they raised the price. I just tried it again because siam orchid is closed and now the price is almost double what it used to be. Tofu is extra, white rice is $4, and the food is not as good anymore either.

Classy move to unplug phones at 7:30 when closing time is 8:30. Just change your closing time to accommodate your customers and when they want to order vs dictating when someone can order from you. Would order here regularly but not not anymore after NUMEROUS busy tones. I've even walked in after getting the busy tone and they clearly weren't on the phone. Disgraceful. Do better.

I am new in town so I checked out this restaurant and the reviews seem good so I thought I checked it out. I'd order the beef sticks it was really bad. It was so dry, I had almost choke on it. The lemongrass children was very salty. I would never go back. The service was good but the food was no where near good at all.

Really disappointing experience. Came in for lunch with my small child and ordered something really easy and quick to cook that my kid would eat...some spring rolls and Pad Thai. Place was about 1/2 full, but they still seemed to lose our order, serving two tables who came in well after we did. After a 25 minute wait with my kid I was told that it was coming out shortly. They proceeded to serve up a lukewarm, cement block of Pad Thai Noodles that sat in kitchen for too long and required a knife to cut through. It was inedible, and I was shocked that the cook and staff let it leave the kitchen. I know it's not "Cambodian" but they have it on the menu and really, how hard is it to make? I let both the wait staff and host know the food was inedible, pointing to the solid brick of noodles that was on the plate, and all I got was, "Sorry, I'll let the chef know". No offer to remake it or take it off my bill. Poorly rolled spring rolls (my kid can roll them better) fell apart after the first bite and became a salad. Overall, poor service, bad food, and a waste of my $50 bucks. We will head to Curry Leaf of Siam next time.
