I’m a sucker for pad see ew/drunken noodles and theirs don’t disappoint!! Their tofu is super tasty too. Servers are friendly and food is typically quick. The A/C was super chilly last time we were in but I should’ve brought a jacket. This is one of my favorites restaurants in town!! I love their plants too ☺️

It’s hard to find good ethnic food in the area sometimes this place is hard to beat in my opinion! The owners and servers are always a very friendly, personable and timely ! I’m always greeted by name when I stop in and I don’t go there. The food is outstanding and incredibly authentic! From noodles to curry, you won’t regret giving this place a chance! The bar is always well-maintained, beautiful and spacious; a nice place to just relax!

I really love Thai Bistro. I’ve always had attentive servers and the food has never been less than perfect for me. I consistently go one to two times a week and I’ve never been disappointed. I believe it’s family owned and I believe that lends to how cared for I feel when I go in. I order the yellow curry with chicken and I get it Thai hot. Or. I order the yellow curry fried rice. Both are my recommendations because they’re monumentally good. Ten out of ten good. I’ve only ever had one of the two women servers there and I think they’re the bee’s knees. Always attentive always kind and always seem to be very happy. I really appreciate them. I cannot stand seafood and what I really love that they do that I’ve found most places do not do, is they list if there is any shrimp paste or fish sauce in the food. You don’t even have to ask, it’s always listed. I’ve had places (even the other Thai restaurant that closed prior) that didn’t take my repulsion to shrimp paste seriously and said I wouldn’t taste it. I am totally sensitive to it. Which I know makes me seem complainy in a review, but, I’d just like to highlight this is the opposite. Thai bistro takes care of me before I even have to ask.

I’ve been eyeballing this restaurant for a few weeks now, and I finally tried it out. And I must say ITS WORTH IT! they have a wide variety of items to choose from on their menu which is good, the prices are good for the size portion of food you get and the servers are very understanding and helpful! Good first time experience for me. I will return!

The atmosphere is so cute and clearly put together with love. Customer service is excellent, very kind staff and they take care of you throughout your meal, ample water and drink refills and whatnot. Food is good, a little mild in flavor and spice, but not bad. Prices are very fair too. Food could be better but for the prices, excellent service and clean/cozy atmosphere it's well worth supporting.

Very nice atmosphere. The food was excellent! The service was great! I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was nice to have a different style of food to choose from. It was my first time trying a Thai restaurant, and we will definitely be going back! Thank you for such a great experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Thai Bistro Bar. Air was our server and she took really good care of us. Very attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. We were so happy to stop by from Southern Illinois. We'll definitely be back again. #yum 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We started with Boba Tea, soda for me and the Spicy Thai appetizers. Then ordered a shared meal of Massaman and Pumpkin Curry. It was well prepared. It tasted incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly. Veggies were soft but had a crunch. The meat was so tender. I recommend this for everyone who wants a great meal!

We have been long time fans of Thai Papaya. And once this location opened we couldn’t wait to try it. We were not disappointed at all. The atmosphere is beautiful. The plants and decor feel so upscale but also cozy. The menu items were familiar, they kept some of our favs. But had some new choices as well. We will definitely be continuing to come to Thai Bistro on a regular basis!

Friendly fast service. Food was hot and fresh. Excellent experience. They make amazing sauces. The sweet soy, I could drink by the bottle. The cucumber dipping sauce, just fill a bathtub with it cuz it's that's good. I also had a taro milk tea but they use real taro so there is a grainy texture that I couldn't wrap my tongue around but it tasted great! If you are looking for some yummy Thai food, I recommend giving this place a try!

Atmosphere was good for sit-down lunch conversations. Service was efficient - quick to get your drinks and food. Waitress was responsive. Flavor of the pad thai in the picture was authentic and on point. Only reservation is that portion was a little small even for lunch portions. For people who prefer petite portions, it may be just right.

The pad Thai is way too sweet for my taste. It’s a preference, but I’ve had way better pad Thai so it was very disappointing that I couldn’t get a great pad Thai here in Evansville. Also, we got 2 milk teas a Thai milk tea and taro tea both with brown sugar boba. My Thai milk tea was good, but my husband’s taro tasted watered down. The boba was very good though. The two teas were $15 so way too expensive to give them another try, not when Mr. Bubble is $11 for 2 and are quicker and better.

I really don’t know how this place doesn’t have a lower rating. Great atmosphere and decor, friendly waitress, but something was just so seriously off about the food. The pad Thai wasn’t horrible, it was eatable, but the worst I’ve ever had. Something was not right. And the yum yum sauce too, like it had been sitting out, was very jelly- like. My friend ordered the fried rice, and something was seriously off about that too! We tried giving each others food a taste and fresh opinion, and it was not good. When brining attention to the flavorless rice, our waitress was very kind. But they took the bowl, disseapeared with it and then the chef brought the same bowl of rice back, defending it saying we just didn’t get it spicy enough because we didn’t want it spicy, but the issue wasn’t the spice, it was the lack of flavor completely. The chef even brought own her own meal of fried rice to our table to say “see, look, mine is spicy and looks better, you probably just needed more spice.”

Okay here we go again. This week I went to Thai Bistro & Bar. As I walked in to this establishment i notice that it was really appealing. The decorations were beautiful bring in the elegance of Thailand. Now to the service I went with a friend that is Asian her self. What I thought was going to be a great experience turn sour very quickly. After scrolling through the menu we were ready to order. The waitress I though seemed annoyed by the fact that A black man were with an Asian woman. After ordering our meals I said thank you several times as the waitress was standing there. With no reply mind you. My friend notice as well as I did I simply told her to ignore it. The food on my side was good mixed vegetables and chicken with streamed rice. My friend's not so much as she accidentally forgot to tell the waitress that she is allergic to shrimp. All attitude is what we received next. After going and changing the food out. She brings back the same food but just took the shrimp out. My friend couldn't eat it because they threw chicken in the same shrimp broth SMH. Tom Tum Goong is what she ordered by the way. It was cold and barely any chicken in it. She started breaking out from it but now okay thank God. Well if it wasn't for that very depressing service and low quality of the food she received. I would come back but absolutely no way that will happen. 11/2 stars Please check the attitude and stop trying to take tips out of people's bank accounts that felt like you didn't deserve it.

The service was very welcoming and great. The ambiance of inside is beautiful. My food order was green papaya salad, and panang curry salmon. I love fish sauce, but the one used on the green papaya salad tasted much different than what I am used to. I didn't like it. The panang salmon was mostly water. Not like a curry at all. It was instant curry I was told. That's ok, but what I had was like milk water with a little bit of instant curry added. The salmon was crispy hard fried. The rice was as much as you might cook at home. I had a few bites of everything, but I couldn't continue. I didn't like to complain about the food to the amazing waitress. She took it back and they charged me full price for everything. $35. I left her a $5 tip. $40 for a few bites that I didn't like.
