We didn't stay overnight or explore the surrounding area, but we did stop for lunch! I'd say it was a fantastic experience. I don't like risotto, and since I like sardines, I was inspired to order it...well, I've never had a risotto where every bite was a journey...then I moved on to my passion, polenta with eggs and truffle...OK, I'll keep it short, but overdoing it...it would make the Michelin-starred restaurants look ordinary...I'll go back and see if it was just a fluke or if it truly is a place where the food isn't banal but art.

Discovered by chance online, we spent four days here. A pleasant experience. The family-run business makes all the difference: we felt at home. The rooms are simple, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The food is excellent, both with the half-board option, in our case, and especially with the à la carte selection. They accept dogs, which is essential for us because we don't leave them alone. If they can come with us, we'll move; otherwise, we'll stay at home. We'll definitely return in the spring to see the surrounding greenery and flowers, and above all to be pampered once again by Aurora, Sara Simone, and their wonderful staff!

I've only been to the hotel restaurant, and I was thrilled. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, there was no room for us, as we had booked outside, but even though they were full inside, the very kind lady found us a table. Thank you so much! First of all, we were amazed by the chef's welcome: delicious dumplings in broth, but never as delicious as the warm honey bread with salted butter to spread on top! Then we had a mixed antipasto of cured meats, cheeses, and polenta... Disarming! The quality was top-notch and the portions were truly generous! And to finish, I had tagliatelle with black Bergamo truffle. To say excellent would be an understatement! And the portions, I repeat, were generous! We also had the crispy egg with truffle... masterfully cooked! Compliments to the chef, the very kind staff, and the fair prices for the quality and quantity they offer.

A special thanks to Luca, Rosa, Sara and their parents who Worked so hard to look after a large party of us celebrating a friend’s 50th. I cannot overstate how welcoming the Morandi family were. Comfortable bar and superb food. We would especially like to say thanks for your patience with the Children, especially Freddie who felt so at home in your lovely hotel.

Great service, my family loved it, we booked the whole hotel for us and friends and they have been absolutely amazing, so clean and they are so helpful. Food is amazing. This is our third stay at this hotel and it won’t be our last. We love it and the service. Absolutely amazing.

A family dinner with light and shade: truly kind, efficient, and friendly service; a rather old-fashioned atmosphere: chandeliers, genre paintings, curtains, and beading dating back, one might say, to the 1960s... Interesting but also questionable dishes: excellent eggs with fondue and black truffle, excellent porcini risotto, somewhat unremarkable gnocchi, tagliatelle with mutton ragù accompanied by an unnecessary stracchino fondue, and a truly disappointing, not at all crispy, beer-baked suckling pig (contrary to what was promised on the menu). The venison stew was convincing, however. High-quality sorbets. Extraordinary wine list, but not insignificant markups; overall price is not insignificant.

Hotel located in the middle of the Bondione Valley, on the valley road, conveniently located for reaching all the surrounding attractions (anywhere in the valley, from Valbondione to Clusone, can be reached in 20 minutes). Parking is available 50 meters away, both paid and free (they provided us with a free parking card, as it was available). The rooms are tidy and spotless, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is available, and there's a small outdoor area with benches and tables. The restaurant is spectacular, with medium-high prices, but the quality of the dishes and ingredients makes it well worth it! A wide selection of local wines.

Prenotato per le 12:30 giungevamo alle 12:25 considerando i 40 km percorsi per raggiungere il ristorante. All’ingresso (zona bar) non era presente nessuno pertanto ci dirigevano verso una sala attigu…

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo deciso dì soggiornare in questa struttura per festeggiare il capodanno. Abbiamo deciso di fare il cenone direttamente qui, per comodità e anche perché ne avevamo sentito parlare bene. Il cenone inizia per le 20 con vari assaggi, si passa poi ai primi. Ci era già stato precedentemente inviato il menú prima di arrivare, e avevo esplicitamente la possibilità ad avere un primo della casa rispetto a quello indicato nel cenone, che era un risotto con i gamberi a cui io sono allergica. All’arrivo del primo in questione mi viene portato il primo ma senza gamberi, quando in precedenza c’eravamo già accordati che mi sarebbero venuti incontro. Soro rimasta particolarmente delusa dalle portate, mi sembrava più una degustazione. Per il prezzo pagato a parer mio non è sembrato un cenone. Detto ciò personale carino e comunque disponibile. Camera pulita.

Siamo stati alcune volte a cena con amici e diverse volte a fare l'aperitivo dopo una passeggiata sul bellissimo tratto di ciclabile che arriva a valbondione. Tutto sempre ottimo e servizio gentile. Non abbiamo mai usufruito dell'albergo in quanto abbiamo la casa in zona. Oggi ci siamo fermari come spesso accade per un aperitivo...certo era un po tardi...le 13... ma non ci è stato possibile perché erano impegnati con il servizio del pranzo. Lascio una stella perché zero non è possibile. Se mi posso permettere critico la mentalità miope e scarsamente imprenditoriale di queste zone. Che problema c'era a preparare due spritz e accompagnarli con qualche patatina o altro. Si poteva al massimo avvisare di avere un po di pazienza vista l'affluenza. Purtroppo alla lunga questa miopia chiederà il conto.
