Donatos Pizza

Came here to try their pizza on a Friday night right at dinner time, and they were jammed! They just opened this week, so this was their first Friday, thus not surprising they would be crowded! It was a hectic atmosphere with a lot of orders being processed rapidly. I ordered one of their thin edge-to-edge pepperoni pizzas and some salads, and I have to say the pizza was GREAT. Definitely distinctively different than the many similar pizza places in Flower Mound, so if you like pizza it is worth trying. I will be back to try some other things as well, perhaps when it isn't so busy!!

This is the best pizza place in TX. Pizza is 100% like the Donatos in Ohio. All the favorites are available at this store. The Owners Ralph and Lynne Pence are Awesome people who understand what Donatos pizza is all about. They pay attention to the quality. It was good to visit with Tony Grote as well. Would highly recommend this location.

Donatos Pizza is always fresh and made to order, and it never disappoints. Everything tastes so good every time we go. Our favorites are the Mariachi pizza and the classic pepperoni pizza—both are delicious. The only thing we wish is that they offered fountain soda, but overall it’s a great spot and one we keep coming back to.

My husband and I were so pleased with our recent visit to Donato's. We opted to eat there, but it seems like most patrons do take-out. The service was friendly and the pizza delicious. The store was very clean. We really enjoyed the pizza flavor - the thin crust was a welcome change to some of the other places we have been. And their sauce has a delicious robust flavor. We had a coupon to use, which made our meal (and leftovers that fed us two more meals) very inexpensive, but their regular prices are very reasonable. Very pleased!

The friendly staff at this location are truly doing hero’s work. The location was well lit, impeccably clean, and just as inviting as it was friendly. The location doesn’t serve my address as I am outside of the delivery radius, but honestly, I’d recommend just going to the location and enjoying a pizza right out of the oven when it’s still screaming hot and fresh. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!

Food was fresh and hot ... ate inside delivered in about 12 minutes. I am from Columbus Ohio last time I had Donatos was 30 years ago the pizza was on point tasted great just as I remembered. I will make the 40 minute drive from Sanger again totally worth it!

Donato’s is fantastic pizza no matter what state you are in. The idea that I can get a little piece of Columbus before an Ohio State championship game is awesome. A rare pizza place that shines in the basics of pepperoni and in the specialties like Founders Favorite and Mariachi.

I went to the soft opening and the food was amazing! Great sized personal pizzas which tasted great. You can customize your pizza easily on the website as well. We tried the normal pepperoni and the cheese with olive oil instead of red sauce and it was truly amazing. They have amazing thin crust, I’m not usually one for thin crust but this changed my mind. Definitely a place that we’ll come to again and again.

DUDE!! DONATOS PIZZA is a wonderful addition to DFW. Anytime we visit family in Ohio, we pick up a pie to eat on our way back home. Donatos pizza is thin and crispy style pizza with many delicious options. (Ralph Pence, the owner) was very attentive, friendly, and courteous, we dined outside, and Ralph turned the heater on for us since my baby nephew was cold. We ordered a large The Works, personal pepperoni, and a small salad. Let me tell you, it tastes just like home! We're very happy & grateful for this small slice of Columbus in DFW. Again, thank you, Ralph & your family, for your wonderful hospitality ! O-H........I-O!!🙌🙌

After moving to Dallas, we really missed their amazing pizzas — so happy we found a Donatos nearby! The pizza tastes just as delicious as we remember. The crust, toppings, and sauce are all perfect. My favorites are the Very Very Veg and Hot Chicken pizzas — both are loaded with flavor and always fresh. So glad to have a little taste of Columbus here in Dallas! Highly recommend Donatos to any pizza lover 🍕

Stopped in for lunch and got a #1 combo - 7" pepperoni pizza and Pure Leaf unsweetened tea and it was under $10. Great price! 👍 I will definitely come back! 🍕 was thin crust & it was nice and crispy. Also, they did not skimp on the toppings. 😉

Not a big fan of Hawaiian pizza in general, but this place has changed my mind. Absolutely delicious pizza, with their Hawaiian being my biggest highlight, the combination of sweet and savory balancing eachother out and working together to create a great flavor. Travis helped me out and overall is a great guy. 10/10, would come here again

I had some of the best pizza over here! Tucked away in a perfect, chill corner of town, the atmosphere is amazing. The staff is incredible! Huge shoutout to Mena and Riley for their amazing service today. I highly recommend!

I have ordered from Donatos multiple times, and there has only been a couple of times when my order has been correct. I have given them the benefit of the doubt because they were new, but now that they are established, mistakes should not be happening 99% of the time. Tonight I ordered a hot chicken pizza and asked no jalapeños, and they removed them but also the pickles. Also, when you go to select a pizza it asks you what sauce you want with it, and they never include it. It’s so frustrating.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my family at 11 PM. It was just us in the restaurant, and we had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved every bite! I especially liked how the dough was super thin, and the food was so fresh. Highly recommend it!

I was hoping the previous reviews would indicate how this experience would be but we were disappointed. The wings were tiny and the 14” pizza was more like 11”. We ended up spending $40 for food barely enough to feed 2 people. There are much better options in the area.

This place is kind of a rip off and most because the online ordering is misleading. The individual sized pizza is supposed to be like $8 or so and then when you say “create your own” is says you can add up to 9 toppings so you’d think it would be included in the price. None of the toppings have a price next to them so somehow my tiny little baby pizza turned out to be $19!! I told the guy working there that I thought it would be $8 plus extra for my sauces and he just said it was because of the toppings and didn’t really offer to help or make it right when I explained what happened. Not sure if I’d go back. I guess just go with a premade menu pizza. I’m disappointed. Here’s my tiny baby $19 pizza for reference

This place is brand new and we witnessed the worse pizza place tonight. Pizza was cold by the time it was delivered (i live literally 2 min away) cheese sticks were burnt on the bottom and garlic bread was super doughy. Hope this can get resolved for their business!! Burnt 40$ quick!
