After researching ~100 restaurants for a valentine’s date night, decided on Thai Ruby: -Authentic ambience/decor transports you instantly to exotic Thailand -Food excellent taste and plating. Portions large (plates themselves larger than standard size). -Owner + waiter visited several times each. Very helpful. My water glass was filled ~8 times. -We loved the Tom Ka soup and the desserts especially. -Price excellent (budget friendly). We ordered everything in the pictures, which came out to total ~50 (tax included) + tip. Value cannot be beat. -Would highly recommend

The best Thai food in this region. The Tom yum soup is the best. I love the spicy Thai Basil rice, the fried tofu was crispy and spicy. The ambience is beautiful and calm. The waiter is very sweet and smiling all the time. We had pleasant time with good good.

Very good food with some unusual twists for Thai. We eat a good bit of Thai food, so came in here after an appointment to get a late lunch/early dinner since we hadn't eaten. We got the Ruby Wrap for appetizer - very good, but not what we expected...more noodles than vegetables. We also got a cup of Tom Ka soup - also very good, lighter than many but just as flavorful. I got the roast duck with red curry sauce and veggies (upper dish in picture) and my wife the Rad Nar with chicken (lower dish). These were excellent, and very filling. Will definitely go there again next time we get over that way.

Wonderful cozy restaurant. The place reminds me of in-home dining , the service is with a smile and positive. The food flavors are good - we did order beef fried rice, flat noodles spicy with shrimp, Thai red curry , crab meat soup , fried pork pot stickers and ended with coconut. Ice cream. The service takes time but the wait is worth it. All the flavors were good , one qualm was there were only 2-3 tiny bits of crab in the soup and the fried rice could've helped with a little more of flavoring. A 'will visit again' place.

We arrived for a late lunch. The atmosphere is very relaxing and nice. The lunch specials is an amazing bargain with dishes at $9.99. It ends at 3:30pm. You choose your choice of protein from chicken, beef, shrimp, tofu and then choose rice or from several noodle dishes or curries I had Pad Thai and my husband beef broccoli They each also came with two fried egg rolls. The food was good and I will try a curry on our next visit

Food was good for the price. They have very reasonable lunch specials for $9.99. Ordered the beef and broccoli which comes with steamed rice. You can pay extra for brown rice but they do not allow to pay extra for fried rice or noodles. Atmosphere is nice. Service a little slow but food was fresh.

I would rate Thai Ruby 4.5 (but I have to choose either 4 or 5 stars) - it will probably be our 'go-to' Thai Place in the future. The restaurant is very convenient for us, the atmosphere is better than fast food but not too upscale. The service was excellent & the food was very good. We had the Pork Potstickers for an appetizer ($7) and then Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Chicken ($16) and Noodle Soup with Beef Stew ($16). I ordered 'Medium spicy' which is one level spicier than their default - but it wasn't very hot - the additional Thai Chili sauce they gave me fixed it easily. We went for lunch but ordered dinner portions because we love leftovers - the quantities were more than enough for 2 meals for each of us and we were very happy.

Classic Thai restaurant in the area. Atmosphere from inside is very dark and tables are very near which lacks privacy. We ordered Ruby fresh roll which was just a lettuce wrap in rice paper without salt or any seasoning, I would not recommend that. Same with steamed dumplings, they were just blended without any flavors. Panang curry and drunken noodles with veggie was also bit okay in flavor and test. We asked to make it spicy and they just simply added red crushed peppers on top. Our server was great, overall service was great but food wise it was an okay experience.

The pad Thai is a sweeter pad Thai, which I enjoy. The sticky rice dessert was a small portion of rice, larger portion of mango. The service was a bit sluggish - waiter didn’t come see us for like 15 minutes after serving us. Overall good Thai restaurant though!

I been coming here for the past 13 years. The last 2 times i been is been is been bad. They change the type of rice i believe. The tom yum was awful. I really hope they go back to what it used to be to be.

We were seated immediately upon arrival, which was promising. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell flat. The appetizer crab rangoon's filler looked more like potato salad and offered no taste of crab or cream cheese. Our entrees (3 adults and 1 child) took over an hour to arrive, and when it finally did, nothing tasted fresh or flavorful. I ordered the drunken noodles and basil fried rice—both arrived lukewarm, lacked spice, and were underwhelming. The noodles were drowning in an overly salty brown sauce, and the curry accompanying the salmon and shrimp dish was bland and lacking depth. While management did remove the cost of one dish, the overall experience ruined my appetite. As someone who regularly enjoys Thai cuisine, I found Thai Ruby disappointing and far from authentic. I cannot recommend this place. The pictures are far more appealing than the actual dishes
